Sexty minutes

Rarity was trotting down the path to Fluttershy’s house.  It was a warm, sunny day, and was very beautiful out.  Except for of course, the hiddeous bugs, and such, but besides that, it was lovely.  Fluttershy had wanted Rarity to come over to her home because she had a dress that she needed her to fix.  The pinked maned pony insisted that she come to her home, instead of going to Rarity’s boutique.  She said it was very important, and Rarity, being the element of generosity, decided to come as quickly as possible.

She didn’t mind, really, it was always wonderful to see Fluttershy.  She was the only one of her friends who ever acted lady-like.  Not to say she didn’t love her other friends, but Fluttershy was fun, because they had a lot in common.  She always got very stressed out, being in the boutique all the time, and i was great to get some fresh air.

As she approached The shy pony’s house, she could make out a yellow figure, near a large, brown bear.  She got closer, and came to see that she was feeding him.  It was a sight to see.  A large animal, that could kill her in one bite, respecting such a quiet, shy pony.  “What a dear” she giggled to herself.

Fluttershy spotted Rarity once she grew near.  She turned away quickly.  Rarity couldn’t see this, and She was glad.  She would’nt want to hurt her feelings, she said thoughtfully.  She wanted to tell Rarity what she had been feeling, but found herself to be nervous.  She was always nervous, but this time was different.  Her and Rarity are almost never alone, so this will be a new experience for the both of them.

She continued to feed Mr. Barlo, who she had named the male bear, and pretended she didn’t see her.  At last, Rarity had reached talking distance of fluttershy, and simply commented on Mr. Barlo.  “What a darling bear , Fluttershy”!  Rarity had said admiringly.  “Fluttershy blushed.  “Thank you Rarity”, she had said quietly.  “So you have a dress you need me to fix up”?  “I simply MUST get back to the boutique as quickly as I can, I’m head to hoof in work”!

“Oh...Fluttershy had said, obviously dissapointed.  At this, Rarity was confused.  Why was she so sad at this?  She contemplated her last statement, and then found the problem.  “Though”, she began, “I think I might stay a bit longer if that’s alright with you”.  Fluttershy shot up, overjoyed at this new information she had just discovered.  “Oh yes”!  “How wonderful”!

The two young ponies stepped inside of the yellow pony’s house, and began to talk.  Rarity had just talked about her work, and the ponies she was currently making her dresses for.  Many famous ponies, and she was honored to do so.  Though these were just simple, small little things, Fluttershy seemed to thoroughly enjoy them.  As long as Rarity had something to say, she was happy.

“Oh”!  “I’m so sorry” !  She trotted over to the kitchen.  “Would you like anything to drink”?  She politely asked.  Out of force of habit, the white pony declined.  “Oh, no thank you dear, i’m quite alright”.  “Oh...Fluttershy replied, saddened once again.  Rarity felt extra generous today, and for reasons unknown to her.  “Actually on second thought dear, I think I would love something to drink”.

Yes!  She wants something to drink!  O.k.  don’t look awkwardly, just offer her water, and cider.  “Oh”!  “How wonderful”!  She happily replied.  “I have water, and Cider, that I applejack gave me a few years ago”.  Fluttershy had swished the cider around a little, hinting it just a bit, and Rarity took it.  “Some cider would be absolutely lovely, thank you”.  She took out 2 large mugs from a cabinet, and poured them both up to the top.  Take in mind, this bottle of cider, was very large, and barely made a dent in the all around supply.

Rarity was handed a lovely rustic mug of delightfully tasteful cider, which she politely sipped, very slowly.  It had been a few years since Fluttershy had recieved it, but that doesn’t tell how long applejack has had it.  She said to herself.  Just as she had reached about halfway, she asked.  “uh...Fluttershy dear, you wouldn’t happen to know how strong this is, would you”?  “Oh...I’m sorry Rarity, I don’t want to give you something to strong for you”.

Rarity was confronted by a decision.  She could just say that it’s not, and get drunk, or she agree that it is too strong, and hurt Fluttershy’s feelings, for feeling like she messed up.  She made her choice.  “Oh, no dear, just simply wondering”.  She wasn’t sure this was the right thing to do, but, there was no going back now.

Great.  Everything is going great.  I’m always better at talking, when I’m a little bit tipsy, she thought to herself, maybe Rarity is interesting too.  Well, it’s now or never, she said in her thoughts.  She gulped.  “Hey Rarity, umm....Do you mind...umm...If I ask you something...umm kind of personal”?  Rarity was obviously starting to get drunk.  “Totally fluttershy”!  “Whatever you want”!  “O.k.  Well, umm, you know how when you went to the gala, you really wanted to find your special somepony”?  “Well of course I do”!  I met a stupid jerk who cared more about himself than me”!  “Gah”!  I’ve been so fed up with men lately, it’s honestly really annoying”!

Fluttershy was pleased to hear this.  “Oh, I know exactly what you mean Rares”.  Rarity turned to her.  “You do”?  She asked, slurring her speech a small amount.  “Oh my yes”.  She lied.  Rarity stared in shock.  “Umm, Rarity”? Are you o.k.?  She snapped out of it.  “Oh yes”.  I’m fine”.  It’s just that out of all ponies, I figured you would have the least amount of problems with stallions.  “What do you mean by that”?  She asked, suddenly starting to get excited.

“Well, It’s just that you have the perfect rump, and mane”.  She replied bluntly.  Fluttershy blushed.  Was Rarity of all ponies hitting on her?  “Oh no”.  She said.  Actually, I’m not really interested in Stallions”.  “If you know what I mean”.  Rarity blinked multiple times.  “Oh”!  she squeaked.  “I didn’t know you were a lesbian, Fluttershy”!  Here it is.  The fate of their relationship, all lied in how Rarity felt about this.

“That’s lovely , dear”!  she replied.  It was true.  Rarity truly thought so.  She was very accepting of different sexualities, and actually was quite intrigued by such.  She has hear rumors that intercourse with one’s same gender is better than the opposite.  It made sense, but she never had the opportunity to find out.  She was interested, so she decided to try something new.

“You know Fluttershy, I always thought you were very beautiful”.  Fluttershy, looked away.  “I love the way you mane flows , and your cutie marks, and especially that rump of yours”.  Fluttershy looked back again.  “I feel the same way about you”.  Rarity was glad to hear this.  Now she shall see if this lesbian thing is as good as everypony says it is.  Rarity moved closer To the Shy, yellow pony. “I’ve always had an eye out on you, and haven’t gotten to ever tell you”.  “until now”.  Fluttershy let out a huge smile across her face.  “I always wanted  to touch another pony, but I have never gotten to”.  Rarity saw what was happening.  “Well, we should fix that, now shouldn’t we”?
