Blue opens his eyes. He didn't know when he fell asleep. Edge's nightshirt is clutched close to his chest. He was dressed in his normal outfit. Blue finds that odd. He knew for a fact that he was with Edge and they'd just finished their... activity. Blue looks around.

Did Edge leave? Blue questions.

He starts noticing things that made him believe he wasn't in Underfell anymore. Too green, no snow, SKY... Blue stares up, amazed. His amazement only grows when he sees the sun. Not that he knew what it was, really. He just sits there, staring at the sun with stars in his eye lights.

"Wozers... so cool..." Blue murmurs.

"Technically, it's actually hot." A warm voice jokes. Blue jumps and looks over to find a pair of...

Blue blinks a few times, slightly confused. "Ponies...? Am I...?"

"You are not sleeping." The smaller of the two speak, guessing the question.

Oh. "That would make sense. people don't just dream about a big lightbulb and ponies." Blue agrees, slowly relaxing.

"Lightbulb? No, That's the sun, young one." The taller of the two chuckles.

"The sun?" Blue takes a minute to process the new information before jumping up, grinning. "Mweh heh heh! I WANNA FIGHT IT!"

Both mares smile slightly at the skeleton's enthusiasm and the taller chuckles softly again.

"You can't fight it. But I'm sure if you could, it would certainly be a great adversary." The taller mare assures, noting the skeletons downcast expression.

Blue looks up again and looks around. He wants to show Edge and Red. After only a few minutes, Blue can feel panic rising up in his soul. He can't find them and he's scared. He's also worried about them. Blue grabs the hem of his pale Blue-gray shirt.

"What is it?" The smaller mare asks.

"I can't find Edge and Red..." Blue murmurs, voice shaking. The mares glance at each other. "They're my best friend and boyfriend..."

Blue jumps as wings surround him. He calms down as he realizes it was the white one hugging him. Blue starts to doze off from the warmth.

"It's getting late, sister." The taller says softly.

The other nods and begins to raise the moon, gaining Blue's attention. Blue's eye lights gain stars.

"Wozers... Real stars... So pretty..." Blue murmurs before clasping his hands together and closing his eye sockets. The two mares watch him, curious. "I wish Edge and Red can see this too."

"You made a wish?" The smaller mare asks.

"Yeah. It's custom back home. We didn't have real stars but we had stones that looked almost like them. We'd whisper our wishes to the Echo flowers in Waterfall." Blue explains. The smaller blinks, shocked. "We monsters were sealed underground after the war. It goes, 'Long ago, two races ruled the earth, HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, ware broke out between the races. The humans were victorious and sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.' That was hundreds of years ago, though. We're still there. But my universe is... not okay. I'm staying in Red and Edge's for now. We're all kinda on the run."

Both mares were stunned into silence for a moment before the taller spoke again, deciding to stray from the current subject.

"What is your name?" The white mare asks.

"My name is Sans but some people call me Blue or even Blueberry 'cause of all the blue." Blue says, pointing to his boots and scarf.

"That's a very fitting name. I'm Princess Celestia and this is my sister, Luna." Princess Celestia introduces.

"Wowzers! I've never really met royalty! I wanted to meet Queen Toriel but Brother-" They both note the chance in the bubbly skeleton. Blue shakes his head and smiles again. " I was supposed to meet her when I joined the royal guard! Too bad I wasn't one for long. He lied and I was relieved of duty."

"You seem like you'd make a wonderful guard." Princess Celestia says, smiling.

"Alphys and Edge said the same thing. Well, after I met Edge. Before, Alphys believed I would be torn to little smiling shreds because I was too nice and I kept trying to solve problems by talking. I don't like doing the violence." Blue says, still surrounded by calming white.

"Edge said that too." Blue says before digging out a picture of the three of them. "The tall one is Edge, my boyfriend. He asked me out a year ago. He's a lot nicer than he looks. He also doesn't care that I'm all scared up and have stupid episodes and stuff. He likes to take pictures of me whenever he can."

"That's sweet." Princess Celestia says warmly. "I wish we could continue but it will have to wait until morning." Blue nods in understanding before fishing out his sleeping pills and taking one out. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna lead the small skeleton to the palace, letting him stay in a guest room. Blue waits until they're gone before undressing and putting on Edge's shirt. He gets a cup of water and uses it to swallow his pill. He lays down and falls asleep.

Blue groans and snuggles further into the blankets. He's still tired.

"Time to wake up, young one." A familiar warm voice prompts. Blue mumbles tiredly, hugging the pillow closer. Princess Celestia chuckles. "Come along. Breakfast will be ready soo-"

"Breakfast!?" Blue shouts, bolting up. "Breakfast tacos?"

"No."

"Well, can I make some? I like to cook. I think I'm pretty good at it now." Blue asks.

"I'm not one to deny something that people find enjoyable." Princess Celestia agrees before leaving the room.

Blue gets up and strips off the long shirt. He pulls on his shirt and shorts then makes sure that his black gloves are in place before taking off out of the room into the castle, bony feet clacking on the marble floors. He follows the smell to the kitchen Blue breaths in the smell as he steps in. The cooks are too busy bustling about to notice. Blue takes the opportunity to start making his famous breakfast tacos. Blue checks his Dimensional Box, looking for pre-made shells before huffing and pulling out a few of his other ingredients. Blue goes about making fresh shells and puts them in the oven before preparing lightly flavored tofu since he had no more sausage. Eventually, the ponies in the room take notice of the Skeleton's vigorous chopping. Blue hums as he works, delicately assembling each taco. Once he finishes, he picks one up and bites into it, nodding in approval. Blue gathers the plate and replaces the leftover ingredients in his Dimensional Box. The small skeleton strides out of the kitchen, still eating his tacos.

"Is this who you were talking about, Princess?" A calculating voice asks, making the skeleton scream and drop the plate. Blue stumbles back, falls to the ground and curls up, shaking enough to cause his bones to rattle. Purple magic encases the plate and tacos as nine ponies surround him. Blue curls into a tight ball, shaking.

"Poor dear. He looks so scared." A regal voice murmurs.

"Um... Are you okay...?" A soft, timid voice questions.

"'Course they're not, 'shy!" A brash voice retorts.

"G-give me a m-minute... j-just had an r-really awful a-attack..." Blue stutters.

"Post Traumatic?" The calculating asks. Blue nods. "I've read about it. I'm sorry that I set it off."

"Y-yeah, it d-does and i-it sucks." Blue huffs. "Post trauma-whatever can kiss my tail-bone." The small, trembling skeleton thanked Red for the obscenity he just used. most of the mares giggle and laugh at the remark. In turn, Blue smiles a little, proud. There's a soft jingle. Blue perks up and digs out his cell phone as the tune starts again. The skeleton answers the call. " H-hello?" The ponies look on in fascination. "RED! Yeah! I'm okay." Blue turns on the speaker.

"sorry, you had to wake up alone and some weird ass place. we had to move ya as fast as possible." Red apologized.

"It's okay, honestly. and the only things weird was the sun-"

"wait. you saw the sun!?" There's benightment in the other's voice.

"Uh-huh. Then i saw the sunset then STARS! Real stars, Red! It was so pretty!" Blue tells the other, stars in his eyes.

"heh. that's great, kiddo." Red says.

"but that's not all! I met royalty! Like i was supposed to when I joined the Royal Guard! And one of them said I'd be a great guard!" Blue giggles excitedly.

"anyone coulda told ya that. but hey, pretty big coming from royalty. i'm proud of ya kid. before i go, i need ta know where ya are so we can get ta ya." Red tells Blue.

"Equestria." The lavender mare states, shaking away the awe.

"huh. i remember that place. someplace. anyways. we'll be there soon. hang tight." Red says warmly then hangs up. Blue puts his phone away, giddy.

"Thank you~!" Blue chimes.

"How do you do that thing? With your eyes." The rainbow maned one asks.

"Before I answer that, can I CHECK everyone?" Blue asks.

"What the heck do you mean by check?" The rainbow maned pegasus snapped.

"CHECK is a magic that allows one to check the states of others. It's good for measuring enemies and making yourself feel more familiar and secure." Blue explains.

"You have my permission, little one." Princess Celestia speaks up.

"You have mine as well." Princess Luna follows, although more hesitantly. the other six also agree, most with smiles.

"I can go first for the sake of convenience." The lavender mare spoke.

"Okay. It feels a little odd at first since it's kinda like something tugging on your soul." Blue warns. The lavender mare sits and gives him a warm, trusting smile before he uses the battle magic. He then CHECKs the stranger before him.

"Hope. it's a way to tell both the Hope in our soul and how much damage our bodies can take." Blue answers. The response hit everyone hard.

"Then... Why is your's so low, darling?" Rarity asks.

Hi. This is out of character, i'm sure, but, Since last writing here i have improved. This story won't revolve around sex and it won't involve any of the ponies. the sex tag is specifically the occasional scene between Edge and Blue.

The reason for Blue's low Hope will be explained later as will the other things. I won't link the original story since it's so heavy on the NSFW aspect.
