Something slid on the wooden floor of the cottage. Fluttershy, unusually not bothered by the noise, stood up and saw another letter from the anonymous pony. Fluttershy smiled excitedly, carefully getting out of bed not to wake up her little furry friends. She trotted over to her door and grasped it while coming back to her soft bed. She read what the letter said in its entirety.
Dear Fluttershy,
Today, I've bought some butterflies, especially made for you.
Two of them are moths and most of them are zebra longwing butterflies, pretty cool huh? I also participated in the yearly Equestrian carnival. There were fireworks everywhere, it was really amazing looking at how they bursted. I wish you were there to see it with me, it would be less easing. What do you think about meeting someday at the grand gala? I heard its about in 3 weeks or so, I'd love to see you there.
Come to think of it, its on Hearts And Hooves day.

Fluttershy smiled, thinking about what she and Anon could do at the gala:
They could eat alot of cake, they could do slow dances, they could hang out, they could..
All of these thoughts raced through her mind,
feeling as happy as she would never be.
The person she trusted so much that she met by letters was going to see her in reality. Fluttershy didn't mind the danger of meeting a unknown somepony, since she really trusted that stallion.. or mare.
Fluttershy opened one of her drawers and slid the letter in and closed it. She jumped into bed, expanding her wings, legs and arms. She thought about how Anon can look, they can be a handsome stallion, a astonishing mare.. There were so many looks she could imagine, and all of those Anon could look like.
She sighed, clutching her pillow tightly, it was in middle of the night of course, she cannot miss the grand gala and was planning to ask Rarity the next day for a dress or so. She smiled, and slowly fell asleep.
"Cockadoodledoo!"
The rooster screamed. Fluttershy bolted awake in the instant. "Oh my, do I have to wake up at this time?" Fluttershy lazed around. She looked at the clock, 10 AM.
She sighed, and jumped out of bed to brush her mane. While she flied around the cottage moderately trying to find her hairbrush, the birds sang one of their songs in these early hours of the morning.
Fluttershy listened to the birds, humming the song peacefully as she styled her hair. It was a new day, and 2 weeks from the gala. Fluttershy yawned as she approached her door. "Lets see if Anon has anything for me this time" Fluttershy muttered, looking down at her carpet, where the letters would usually come from.
And she was right, Anon had left yet another message for her to read in this time of the day. She quickly ripped it up.
Hey, whats up Fluttershy? Look who's up so early! I've had a time of my life today! I got to see a old museum left for centuries and it was great! You could have seen it, but yeah, I respect you and your sleep schedule, hehe. I've wrote you so many letters, but I had no time to leave all of them to the mail man, so I wrote this last one.
I hope you are having a great morning so far, and also, today if anyone hurts you today, just tell me and I'll punch them to the ground!

She was heartwarmed by the letter, and felt self-confidence. She knew today was going to be a great day. She grabbed her bag and went out into a meadow not too far from her home. There was tall grass and alot of small insects, like ladybugs and butterflies, normally.
There was this one old tree somewhere in the center of the meadow, it was decades old but still managed to survive all those years. Whoever hanged around the tree for some time, said they never experienced any misfortune since. Fluttershy watered it on a daily basis, and drew alot of things on it. Suddenly, a strange sound echoed through the land and distant wails, whimpers and screams were heard.
It was a stampede of changelings, sent by Queen Chrysalis to drain ponies out of their love to their own use, taking advantage of the
ponies. Fluttershy heard the commotion in the distance, and started galloping to safety. Her cottage was a fair distance away from the meadow, so Fluttershy didn't predict anything positive to happen to her. She ran just as if her life was coming to a end unless she escapes the horrid changeling species. A changeling beamed before her eyes, and a few of her cornered her.
That was it. It was the end. Fluttershy shut her eyes tight, clutching her bag in her hooves as she bent down and expected the worst. Then, a miracle happened. A pegasi flashed down, scaring the changelings. The pegasus was in a black coat, and was very fast for a normal pony. She dented two of the creatures with her wings and clashed the others with her leg.
Fluttershy stared in awe, as the pegasi quickly took out the monsters. Now, the pegasus turned around and smiled at Fluttershy, indicating that they knew
her. They left a small note, as the pony took off in the air at a fast speed. Fluttershy creeped up to the note, and took the letter.
You were lucky I was here to save you, those things are dangerous, ya know? I hope you're fine now!

So that, indeed was anon, the horse she'd been talking to for months without seeing them for the first time. Fluttershy ran home, took out a piece of paper, and started writing a appreciating and thankful letter to Anon, which she now figured out was a mare.
Author's Note
Just to make it clear, if anyone is going to say some stuff like: "It's *any canon pegasus character from MLP paired with fluttershy , This is not the case. If you guess who this mystery pony is, the story will become less entertaining, since in half of the actual fiction, it will be revealed to the public. You can actually try to figure out who it is by context clues or how the mystery pony writes. Just make sure to not spoil it. Just something I kinda had to get out :P
