Time passes, things change. Ponyville has grown from a charmingly rustic village into a growing small college town. Professor Dame Twilight Sparkle and her friends have kept in touch with each other, even though their lives have diverged over the years. Although some of them aren't as close as they used to be, something brings them all together for one last time.
