Do You Hear The Ponies Sing?
They should come when we call.
It is a revolution I’m telling you! A signal for a revolt against all that’s wrong and injustice! Who am I? Call me Angel Race, the leader of the ponies! The leader of righteousness and free will! I’m the leader who shall want nothing more than to see the rein of Sombra come to a bloody end as the true Crystal Princess returns to her rightful throne! It’s her’s and her’s alone!

We have lived, begged, and tirelessly worked for the scraps we have clawed and scraped our hoofs for, under the tyrannical rule of the most ruthless and soulless pony we call a King! He’s an arrogant fool, black hearted in nature! If I was to say where he crawled out from, then I would denounce him as nothing more than a demon of the cold underworld.
Yet he sits up there thinking his reign is as mighty has his appearance, that he's the rightful ruler of the Crystal Empire. That can’t be further from the truth! Do you really want to know what he is? He is a charlatan, a pony who thinks they’re fit to rule. However, at the end of the day, he’s a scared, shriveled up maniac who’s as much as what he’s got when he goes to bed. Nothing I tell you! He’s got nothing underneath the disgusting facade he displays!
King Sombra, I would spit at the front of your hooves if I could! I would tear off your clothing and throw them in the fires of revolution if I shall have the opportunity to do so! I would shout, “Viva la liberté” directly into your face while you tremble in fear, like we once did to you! Well no more! You shall be the one to experience the same sort of tartarus you put us through for the past decade after we, the ponies of the Crystal Empire, throw you into the musty crypts with rustic iron chains strapped to your hooves forever!
You will endure the same fate as the ponies you’ve incriminated, against their own will to speak freely and be nothing more than who they are. Don’t you think for one second that they’re allowed to be themselves? Isn’t a ruler and government meant to just protect the ponies under their care? Aren’t you, King Sombra, just meant to govern our lives under care and logic?
That’s what seems right. A king’s job is to serve for the ponies, governing under the idea of making everyone’s lives better while ensuring their protection along with the state they inherit. However, Sombra has strayed far away from the ideals we seek.
He has thrown our land into something beyond the simple word of chaos. Absolute mayhem would be a better phrase to use. Along with the enslavement of nearly all ponies within his control, the fascist dictator controls the commerce, our markets, and our borders as well. No pony can get in or out of the state for travel or leisure! He has trapped us within the Empire, treating us like we are nothing more than rabid dogs who need to be constantly put down and killed for their disloyalty!
No more I shall cry out to you all! No more of this ruler, this kingdom, and this way of life! No more days of being cold and miserable! No more days of dressing ourselves with the rags and dirt which cover our bodies like torn drapes! No more days of whimpering and suffering while our hooves tremble before the weight of our own stance! It’s time to stand strong for the Crystal Empire!
I can see it now, King Sombra’s country falling to the wayside while the ponies stand over his corpse in victory! What a glorious day it shall be! Princess Celestia's sun will shine its brightest for us while we join her union in a harmonic fashion. The move will save our kingdom in golden might that her army will display when they come to save us from the despot himself!
When the time comes, when her army comes marching down the plains towards our capital, there shall be an uprising! It’s our time to answer the call of revolution! When the royal sisters come with their mass of troops, I invite every pony to join the revolt and overthrow the king for good! It’s our right to do so! It’s our time of sacrifice for the betterment of our ponies and way of life!
It’s time to secure the future for us and the generations to come!
So, on that day, wear the blood of your will and valiant desperation upon your face, in shape of an “X” to mark another target. Show Sombra how you’re willing to believe in the idea of freedom, marking yourself as an enemy to the state! WE WON’T TAKE THIS TYRANNY ANY LONGER! IT’S TIME TO END THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!
So, join your fellow ponies in a crusade of bravery and courage! Be open and exposed for Sombra to see, so that he may know how big his enemy really is. Let’s make him run away and fear us before we, the ponies, capture and imprison him, making the king a slave to our will! We’ll treat him exactly like how he treated us for all those long years which have passed. We shall make him weak, meek, and desperate for the love and kindness we’re denied.
Then, once the war and misery has passed, history will commend our achievement! It will sing the praises of our efforts and victory, telling the tale of how our will and bravery wrote its way into the record books. It will tell the story of how ponies can unite together and defeat the presence of evil. Unity is one powerful form of expression! Through unity, we are one! Through unity, we are the mighty, strong, and brave!
