Sunset, Trixie, and Starlight all want to win the Canterlot High Science Fair so they enlist the help of each one of Sunset's friends, including the Princess Twilight Sparkle. With each team working on a different experiment involving animals, the girls' magic causes some adverse effects when exposed to the different animal species, leaving Sunset, Trixie, and Starlight to handle the newly formed monster girls.
