Prologue: The Forgotten Battle of Alto Mare

Location: Pokémon World in the Johto Region hundreds of years ago

Dark clouds covered the sky of Alto Mare in the Johto region as a battle between good and evil raged on. Then a Luster Purge attack from the left collided with a dark purple beam blast from the right for a second they stayed locked together pushing back and forth then a second later the 2 attacks exploded creating a thick smoke cloud covering the city square. Humans along with Pokémon watched in fear and worry as a battle was going on and this certain battle was to decide Earth's fate.

As the smoke cleared a blue dragon with white fur and high speed looking like legendary Dragon & Psychic type Pokémon was seen trying to catch his breath and was banged up badly from his enemy he was fighting. The Pokémon's name was Latios and he was in a tough spot. He thought to himself, 'I don't know how much longer I can hold out! I have to finish this right now before he attacks the humans and the city including the other Pokémon!'

The enemy that Latios was fighting was a strange evil looking and armored alien wearing advanced space armor with weapons. The alien looked at the dragon type Pokémon from his helmet and pulled out a blasted ready to blast him to ashes. Then a younger female voice yelled out loud, "Mist Ball!"

Then another attack which was a ball of energy went at the alien which scored a direct hit on it creating a plume of smoke. Then another dragon type Pokémon flew up to Latios as he was panting from his depleted strength. The other dragon Pokémon looked like Latios, but it had red fur from where Latios had blue colored fur, had a blue triangle on her chest, and had yellow colored eyes. The Pokémon's name was Latias.

Then Latias asked Latios with telepathy in a concern tone, "Are you ok Latios?"

Latios looked at Latias and replied back with telepathy as well, "Yeah I'm fine thanks to you Latias."

Then the two dragon Pokémon looked at their enemy who was still standing however; he did take damage from Mist Ball. The armor had electrical blue sparks coming from it as it short circuited. Then the armored alien replied to the two dragons, "You will pay for that you Pokémon!"

Then the alien raised its blaster at Latios and Latias and fired two sky bluish blasts at them. The two dragon Pokémon dodged the attack just in time. Then the two dragon Pokémon unleashed a double Dragon-Breath attack on the alien which scored a direct hit as the two dragon type attacks landed on their target and created a explosion and thick black smoke.

The two dragon Pokémon waited to see if their enemy survived the blast. But then two plasma blasts of energy hit the two dragon Pokémon scoring direct hits with deadly accuracy. The force of the blasts sent them into the ground with a loud crash and created a large dust cloud that went into the air.

As the dust cleared it revealed that Latios and Latias were laying next to each other panting and gasping trying to catch their breath. Their bodies ached from the pain that the plasma blasts gave them. Then they heard a voice saying, "You two have very impressive Dragon Breath attacks."

The two dragon Pokémon looked up to see the same alien they were fighting emerged from the black smoke and its armor had some damage on it. The two dragon types wondered how can they beat an enemy like this if even if their most powerful attacks aren't doing the slightest bit of damage. Then Latios thought to himself, 'There is one option left. But it's too dangerous! If I do it I'll sacrifice my body, but considering the situation we're in it's worth a shot!'

As the 2 legendary dragon Pokémon laid on the ground trying to get back into the air the armored alien said, "Your defeat is certain. Surrender to us and I promise my leaders will make sure your lives will be spared."

The two dragon Pokémon looked at the alien with determination and they weren't going to give up to the likes of the alien. If they surrendered to the alien they would begin their invasion of Earth and hundreds and thousands of innocent humans and Pokémon will be inslaved or wiped out. So they couldn't give up now not with the present circumstances that they were facing.

Then Latios yelled at the armored alien, "We'll never surrender to the likes of your kind you monster! I won't let you and your kind bring harm to any innocent humans or any Pokémon! In the name of Lord Arceus your plans end here!"

Then Latios flew for the alien and started glowing in white light. Latias knew what he was doing as her eyes went wide. Then she yelled to Latios, "Latios don't do it! It's too risky!"

Latios used his telepathy and replied back to Latias, "I'm sorry Latias, but it's the only way to stop him! My physical form will be gone, but my spirit will survive. Also please honey tell our son and daughter that… I love them."

Latios kept charging at the alien with all his strength he had left in his body as he got closer. Then the alien yelled at him, "No! What are you doing?!"

Then as Latios got closer to the alien he yelled to him, "I will not allow you and your race to bring destruction to our world! Your rain of terror ends…"

Then Latios got right in front of the alien who was taken off guard by the unimaginable speed it used and there was no time to dodge the attack. Then Latios yelled out loud to the alien as he was in its face, "HERE!!!!"

Then Latios' attack slammed into the alien as it created a bright white light which blinded Latias for a few minutes. As the light disappeared Latias saw where the alien and Latios were and what was left was shimmers of white sparkles from Latios' final attack. Then Latias saw something coming from the sky as the strange orb floated down to the red dragon Pokémon.

The orb which contained Latios' spirit inside landed in front of Latias as she looked at it with sorrow with tears coming from her eyes. Latias loved Latios very much and they were about to have offspring soon, but now her kids won't know their father. Latios saved the whole world and made the ultimate sacrifice to save everyone from destruction.

Then Latias said to herself as she sobbed in sadness at the sight of losing her husband and future father for her kids, "Thank you Latios 'sniff' for everything…"

From that day forward the battle had became a long forgotten battle of Alto Mare the city of water the future home of the legendary Dragon & Psychic type Pokémon Latios and Latias which later become the guardians of Alto Mare and the orb became known as the Soul Dew. Years later their mother made the ultimate sacrifice as well when 2 huge prehistoric Pokémon named Kabotops and Aerodactyl trained by their evil master to attack innocent people. She was able to defeat the 2 Pokémon turning them into stone, but lost her body in the process as she did the same move that her husband used to defeat the alien invader years ago.

Latios and Latias' mother's spirit was sent to a unknown world where Legendary Pokémon spirits lived in peace. The 2 dragon Pokémon protected the Soul Due for years that is until one day 2 members of a criminal organization from the Kanto region named Team Rocket came to Alto Mare to capture the 2 Pokémon for their greedy ambitions. The 2 members and were sisters named Andy and Oakley and they almost succeeded in capturing the 2 dragon Pokémon if it wasn't for Ash Kechtum and his friends along with his partner Pikachu who stopped them.

But that victory came with a price when the soul due was drained completely thanks to Andy and Oakley and it was destroyed and caused a massive tilde wave coming for the city. The 2 dragon Pokémon used their powers to save the city from disaster Latias lived through the event, but Latios on the other gave up his life and became the new Soul Due. While Andy and Oakley were sent to prison for their actions.

Now about 6 years later Team Rocket had disbanded and peace returned to the world while Ash and Pikachu traveled to the Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos regions where they gained new friends, new Pokémon, and defeated evil teams like Team Flare, Team Plasma, Team Galatic, Team Aqua, and Team Magma. Just like they did with Team Rocket Ash and his friends foiled their evil ambissions and saved the world countless times. Thanks to them the world was safe from destruction and disorder.

But little did Ash and Pikachu knew there was a new force coming into the world and it was about make itself known to the world. One day in the Hoann region at a competition where many strong trainers and their Pokémon came to compete. A strange organization of men arrived at the stadium and attacked the trainers and their Pokémon with weapons capturing all the trainers and their Pokémon except one. That trainer told the authorities the name of organization and a another shock. Team Rocket was back and had allied with a new organization called the UAAF which stood for United Aerospace Armed Forces.

Everyone was worried about this new organization and the return of Team Rocket. Then just a few days later the UAAF and Team Rocket declared war on all the regions. Then intel came from military operatives from all the region's government that the UAAF used some kind of advance technology to put human minds into Pokémon bodies making them living breathing weapons. From this intel the region governments instantly took action and created armies of some of the best skilled Pokémon trainers along with seasoned military troops and commanders they called these armies the United Pokémon Region Allience.

Lots of Pokémon trainers like Ash stayed out of the conflict, but Earth was facing a new enemy and help was going to be needed to bring peace back to the world. Little did the world knew an ancient alien threat was about to return to finish what was started hundreds of years ago which was foiled by Latios. However, whenever there is darkness there is always light. That light was a hero and band of friends from a another dimension.

That hero is Sonic The Hedgehog and his friends after they freed their planet named Möbius from the clutches of Sonic's arch enemy Dr.Eggman. After weeks of healing and rebuilding Möbius was back to normal and peace returned. Things had gone back to normal for Sonic and his friends too they and were back to beating Eggman's plans as usual. Also the bonds between Sonic and his friends were strengthened thanks to Eggman when he had the world in the palm of his hand.

In a another dimension which was different from both Ash's world and Sonic's world is a world called Eques. Eques is the home to Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends and just like Sonic and Ash they been through dangerous adventures. Their most recent adventure was to journey into the southern wastelands of Equestria after Cantalot was taken over by a broken horned Alicorn named Tempest Shadow who was controlled by the evil Storm King. After making new allies and friends Twilight and her friends freed Cantalot and defeated the Storm King and became friends with Tempest Shadow.

These heroes have faced great challenges in the past, but for Sonic it was just a another day like any other. But this new adventure will take Sonic and his friends to our world where Eques and the Pokémon World collide. The resistance is about to return and help fight back against the new threats.
