Camp Everfree the 13th.

Applejack placed her bags into the back of her pickup truck. She was looking forwards to a nice camping trip at camp Everfree with Sunset Shimmer, both signed up for camp counselor for their summer break from college was something Applejack needed.

With the last of her things loaded in the truck she drove off to go pick up Sunset Shimmer.

Sunset Shimmer sat outside of her home with all her bags she’ll need for her long summer break. She was looking forwards to this trip, with everyone else traveling to the many other colleges she stayed behind to stay in Equestria college and was lucky to have Applejack stay as well. Since it was just them they stuck together like glue, both helping each other with their school work and keeping each other company.

Their friendship has grown pretty strongly. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash would be coming to visit towards the end of the summer for a week which sucked because she wanted them to be able to join them on this counselor job they took up so they could all have some fun.

She saw Applejack’s truck pull up and she quickly gathered her things and loaded them up into the truck.

With the truck loaded they took off down the road on, this summer was gonna be a fun one.

After a two day trip on the road they reached camp Everfree. They found a parking spot with the other camp counselors cars.

“Welcome to Camp Everfree! I’m Mike, I’m the owner you two must be Sunset Shimmer and Applejack?” A man with short black hair and blue eyes asked walking up to them.

“We are.” Sunset said.

“Welcome, we have a cabin for all the new counselors.” He said to them “If you follow me I’ll show you to your cabin you’ll be staying in for the summer.”

The two grab their things and followed the man to the cabin. Sunset notices a lot of counselors walking around “When do the kids show up?” Sunset asked.

“They will be here next week, this week we’ll be training you all.” Mike said “We get a lot of newcomers this time of year and we set a week to help train those who don’t know the camp well.” They reach the cabin “There are two other counselors who will be staying with you, also here shortly we have roll call and everyone must show.” Mike said “If you have any questions come to me or Rick, Rick will have a mohawk.” Mike said leaving the two girls alone in their cabin.
Applejack made a few notes about the cabin, from the red door to some of the bunk beds.

“Looks like we are sharing a bunk bed!” Sunset said with a smile and excited.

“Ah call top bunk!” Applejack said tossing her pillow onto the top bunk.

“Dang! I was just about to call dibs.” Sunset said chuckling as she placed her things on the bottom bunk.

“Ah can’t wait till the kids show up, all the fun we’re all gonna have.” Applejack said as she placed her clothes in the drawer next to the bunk bed.

Sunset was placing her clothes in her drawers “Oh look, we have some newbies Lizzy.” A girl said making the two look to see two girls standing by the doorway, one had long blond hair and green eyes while the other had short brown hair and brown eyes.

“Looks like we do Maggie.” Lizzy said with a grin.

“Hello my name is Sunset Shimmers and this is Applejack.” Sunset said trying to make friends with the two girls.

“You two just stay on your side of the room and leave us alone.” Maggie said walking over to her bunk bed with Lizzy right behind her.

Applejack just stared at the two girls.

“Alright Ladies, time for roll call.” A man with a mow hawk said walking into the room and then leaving.

“Come on Lizzy, let’s get the good spot!” Maggie said grabbing Lizzy by the hand and rushing out of the room.

“Ah hope they warm up ta us.” Applejack said as they both made their way out of the cabin “Ah don’t feel like dealin’ with them all summer.”

“I’m sure we will get through to them.” Sunset said with a smile as they made their way to where everyone else were going and found themselves at a stage outside and seat all around.

“Welcome to camp Everfree! I know some of you already know how things work around here, however we have a lot of newcomers here today and we are happy to give them the Camp Everfree love!” Mike said with a big smile “For those who are new do not worry, today you just set up your things and explore and get to know a bit about the camp, tomorrow we’ll be going over everything.” He said as he pulled out a piece of paper “However we have some new rules, rule one, always have a buddy with you at all times when going hiking in the woods.” Mike said looking at everyone “We’ve had bears in the area and we want campers to use the buddy system. Rule two, everyone must keep a walkie talkie on them when leaving a cabin, there are old mineshafts that people fall into and these walkie talkies can save your life.” He looked at both Applejack and Sunset “Rule three, no sex. Rule four, no beer. Rule five, no drugs.” Mike placed the paper into his pocket “Everything else that is in the rule book is the same as last year, these ones were added after some campers who will not be named about let a kid drown in the lake, so follow these new rules and everyone make their way to the office to get the walkie talkies and then you all can explore and enjoy this beautiful day!” Mike walked off stage and made his way towards the camp.

“I can’t believe those two idiots ruined the best part about this camp!” Maggie said walking with Lizzy “Now I can’t smoke with these stupid rules.”

“We can always find a spot in the woods, they will never know.” Lizzy said.

“Ah see she’s a pothead.” Applejack whispered to Sunset.

“We might wanna get to the office.” Sunset said.

The two made their way to the office.

Fire and lava moved through the rocks as demons rushed towards a figure hacking a slashing them, a machete slicing through the demons like butter. Blood and guts flew everywhere as the figure cut his way through the demon horde. More and more blood flew into the air and guts falling to the ground.

“My, My, My.” A figure moved through the hordes of demons towards the figure killing his demons “You are a strong soul Jason, for fifteen years you’ve been fighting, you’ve shown how powerful you truly are. Join my army Jason and you can kill everyone.” The figure said “What do you say Jason?” The figure asked bringing out his hand to Jason.

Jason looked at the man then at his hand, without a word he sliced the man’s hand off and shoved his machete into the man’s chest and through his heart. The man went up into the flames and it transferred into Jason’s machete. Jason looked at the blade as it started changing, it became a black Trident. Jason’s body began to change from a bloody Jason to a hell flame and a chain wrapped around his body and he stood.

The demons all bowed down to Jason as he wielded the power of hell itself in his hand. With this new power Jason walked straight out of hell. He had his sights set on returning back to his killing grounds of Camp Crystal lake.

With Jason gone the demons all looked at each other as flames flew around and landed back “Let’s see what Jason does with these demonic powers I have given him.” The man said with a grin “Soon more souls will be flooding into my realm.” The figure moved passed his demons.

Applejack and Sunset sat by the campfire with some marshmallows with a few other campers with them. They all were making s'mores.

“So do you guys know this camp was once called Camp Crystal Lake?” A guy asked.

“Camp Crystal Lake?” Sunset asked “Why the name change?”

“It’s a town story, back in the 1958 a young boy drowned in these waters because two camp counselors were having sex, then a few days later two counselors were found dead and the camp was shut down for a few years till someone tried to re-open the camp.” The guy said “One by one the counselors and the ower were killed, only one person survived that and she killed the killer, the killer was Pamela Voorhees the mother of Jason Voorhees who drowned in the lake.”

“That’s dark.” Applejack said.

“Oh it get’s worse.” The guy said “The girl who survived was found murdered in her home and then a group of counselors who were all hanging out not to far from here were all murdered but one who ended up locked in the loony bin.” The guy said “More and more killings took place over the years till one day everything stopped, rumor has it the killer known as Jason is now dead but they say he will return on another Friday the 13th and kill anyone who steps foot in his camp.”

“It’s just a tale.” Sunset said “There is no way a killer could return from the dead.”

“There was a guy who claimed he brought Jason back from the dead after he died a third time, tho that was a rumor. Guy got locked away in some loony bin.” The guy said “However there is a guy who lives in the old houses north from here who claims he’s gonna return and he’s ready for the fight.”

“I wouldn’t put too much into these stories Luke here is telling you, each time someone was killed it was just someone trying to get their rocks off.” A girl said walking up to them “Names Sarah, I’m the head counselor here.” She took a seat next to Applejack “Camp Crystal lake is gone and Camp Everfree is here and it’s not gonna turn into what Camp Crystal lake was, no one has died and we are keeping our eyes on a lot of people.”

“Is that why y'all added the new rules?” Applejack asked.

“Yes, after what happened those campers were fired on the spot and were banned from ever coming here again.” Sarah said “This camp is meant to help kids not cater to your sex life.”

“I agree, that’s why Applejack and I signed up to come here.” Sunset said “We want to show campers a good time and make some new friends.”

“That’s the Everfree spirit!” Luke said with a chuckle.

“Alright everyone! I need your all attention.” Mike said with a megaphone “We all have been invited to the town’s summer fair, we have a bus ready for anyone who wants to enjoy a fun night at a fair, to anyone staying check in with Rick, he’ll be staying here with anyone who doesn’t want to head out.”

“Heck yeah! I love the fair!” Sarah said getting up and dragging Luke away from the camp fire “Your gonna win me a stuffed bear!”

“Do you wanna go to the fair?” Sunset asked Applejack.

“Nah, Ah think I’ll stay here if ya wanna go.” Applejack said.

“Alright, if I win anything I’ll bring it back for you.” Sunset said heading towards the bus.

Applejack just sat there enjoying the view of the lake.

With most of the camp empty and only Rick, Applejack, Maggie, Lizzy and a few three other campers were staying behind while the rest left for the town.

Applejack watched as Maggie and Lizzy made their way into the woods “Hope they have a walkie talkie.” Applejack thought as she sat by the fire.

She looked up at the night sky and saw the stars were shining bright and the moon shining even brighter. This put a smile on her face as she watched the stars.

A few hours later Applejack notices something off the corner of her eye she turned to see a light coming from the lake and it was moving to the east shore line. She stood up and made her towards the lake and she saw someone walking out of the water, her eyes widen as she saw a guy with fire walk out of the water, the steam from the fire dried his skin as he moved into the forest, she saw he was wearing a black hockey mask and held a strange pitchfork in his hands.

She quickly pulled her walkie talkie.
