Raven

Raven grew up weak, and afraid. Her parents were not her real ones, the real ones didn't want her. They abandoned her in the woods to starve and die alone, But a group of wandering griffins heard the cries from the young foal and took her in as there own. Griffins, being mostly birds, did not know how to name the young foal, But took to calling her Raven due to her purple hair and odd birthmark which covered her face and made a somewhat purple beak. It rounds her eyes and goes down to her muzzle where it curves into a beak-like shape.

One day, out of nowhere, fireballs began to rain down onto the town Raven called home. A group of bandits, all consisting of different races, raided the town. Killing all and anyone who tried to get in there way, A few of the towns guards were able to kill some of the bandits but their numbers were more vast than the small towns. The only Griffin Raven called mother told her to run, Run as fast as she could into the woods. These were sadly her dying words before an arrow pierced her throat, causing blood to splatter onto Raven's young face. She'd not be more than a 15 years old at the time, so she was reluctant in running away. As she could see a pony lining up another shot directly at her with his bow, She turned and ran as fast as she could, sadly the bow-colt was far too skilled and hit Raven in the back of the leg, causing her to tumble and fall to the ground. What would happen next...would change Raven's life forever.
