Ragamuffin is a young filly who lives on a cactus farm in the country of Coltistan. She writes her experiences in the form of letters to Princess Celestia, a character from her mother's bedtime stories. Ragamuffin loses her innocence as she ages, and becomes increasingly more depressed. She has to face the fact that she will have to farm cactus for the rest of her life, never being able to leave the farm. First fic.
