"Anypony can change, right?"

Following in the hoofsteps of her mother and father, Flurry Heart has shown nothing but kindness and compassion to those around her, believing there is good in all creatures once they're given an opportunity to change. Her life is going well, with her aunt Twilight there to support and advise her whenever she needs it, and Princess Celestia and Luna guiding her through lessons of royalty and justice.

On a morning where she has nothing in particular to do, Flurry strays away from the empire to explore. Soon, the mare loses track of time and wanders off too far. Upon the way, she discovers what appears to be a black unicorn horn buried in the snow, and thoughtlessly takes it back home as a souvenir. Little does she know that this decision will lead her down the most confusing journey she'll ever face.

Who can decide what is right from wrong? Flurry Heart will begin to question if her long-lasting philosophy on change can be applied to all evil, and discover the gray in-betweens of justice and sin. Most importantly, she will question the goodwill of the ones she loves the most.
