A thousand years ago, Celestia, Luna, and 14 warriors known as the Elements of Harmony fought against a great evil and saved Equestria from ruin. Now with a great evil on the rise, it's up to a new generation of elements to rise up to defend Equestria against this new evil. However, will they be willing to fight this evil due to each of them having their own lives, convictions, and situations.
