Fear not the Fall

The Equestria of the caribou runs on fear. Not the fear they bring but the fear they show. Immature child-minds with a penchant for tantrums and cheating are perpetually afraid of being anything but eternal winners and champions. Sex is an ironically childish act, a domain of stilted talk, stupid faces and ridiculous puffery and ostentation when it isn't a blunt instrument. The caribou embody that fear and foolishness. Their fears are hidden, smothered, crushed out like hope and love. But some fears are justified. And they will be delivered.

A series of possibly long horror-themed stories, at least that's the intent. They might veer more into suspense or drama, but there will always be horroron some level. I'll add content warnings for each chapter, something I wish other writers would do. It's a public service and kind besides. Spoiler tagged for content.

Substitutiary Locomotion- Physical abuse, physical mortification, genital crushing, throat-ripping by teeth, toxic fumes, dying in a fire, rocks to the head, severed heads used as soccer balls, decapitation, wartime killing, impalement on a ballista bolt, foul language.

Don't fear the Fall. It isn't the Fall that kills. It's the sudden stop at the end.
