Emergency Equestrian Ministries Alert System
"Gah!" Twilight shrieked into the dark crystalline bedchambers, shaking and panting in receding fear.
"What... What was THAT about!?" She shouted into the air. It had all seemed to real to be a nightmare, but it couldn't have been real. Not something like THAT!
"TWILIGHT!" Spike screamed, throwing the heavy crystal bedroom doors open. "What happened!? Are you ok!?"
"I'm... I'm fine Spike, I think..." She rapidly assured the dragon
"Nightmare?" Spike curiously asked
Suddenly an odd sensation overcame her, removing her control from her own body and filling her with a disturbing numbness as her jaw worked on it's own accord as she spoke in a otherworldly monotone voice.
"This is an automated targeted message originating from the Ministry of Image hub, Hoofington. If you are hearing this it means that Equestria has fallen. These Images of profound horror are and will come to life if the course of history is left to it's current trajectory. At this moment, all surviving Ministry Mares are being notified in similar methods at the discretion of Director Goldenblood. Please notify appropriate upper echelon members of the current equestrian government as you see fit. Validity code; Alpha Epsilon Omega"
Twilight's eyes focused on Spike a bit and she asked with little inflection.
"Time is running out. When does the black moon howl?"
With the final word, Twilight's eyes rolled back into their sockets and she fell limp to the side where she began to convulse, foaming at the mouth. All while the small drake assistant, confused and scared, ran for help.

Twilight moaned softly as she slowly regained consciousness, taking in the stimuli of a hospital room crowded with conversing ponies.
"Seems like she had a grand mal seizure"
"-Getting reports of the same thing happening to the other five all at the same time, Pinkie’s being worse than the others."
"Other Princesses notified"
"Don't even have this level of technology yet, not for two decades at the very least"
And then a very familiar, very tiny sounding voice timidly spoke up beside her, gently touching her side
"Twilight? A-are you awake? I tried to get help as fast as I could."
She opened her eyes fully now, speaking in a low hoarse voice
"Spike... I'm fine. Promise..."
Unfortunately she did not speak quietly enough to stay under the radar of all the other ponies in the room
One suddenly spoke above the others, Demanding authority. A tall and stout stallion with an unblemished coat of glimmering gold, And a voice that rang as loud and clear as a church bell
"Everypony! Twilight is now awake and in need of debriefing! If you could all please vacate her hospital room at once and continue your discussion somewhere else it would be much obliged!"
Begrudgingly everypony else besides Spike and the one with the golden coat left
"So." The mysterious pony started out. "How are you feeling?"
Twilight looked over at Spike. "Should he be here? He's just a kid... He doesn't need to see me like this..."
The Golden one glanced at Spike for a minute before somberly replying "She's right Spike, you really should be with the others. I have to ask her a few questions."
Spike looked up sadly at Twilight, whining slightly.
“Cmon Twilight! Please let me stay!
Twilight somberly shook her head while Spike slowly stomped out the door, muttering about how unfair adults were.
"Apologies Princess, I guess an introduction is in order. My name is Goldenblood, son to Blueblood. How are you feeling?"
"Like shit" She groaned stretching her pained body on the bed.
Goldenblood nodded sullenly "From what you just experienced, I'm not surprised. it seems you had a very serious seizure, along with all your other friends. At the same time."
Twilight nervously glanced up at him, cold fear slowly trickling down into her veins "What!? Where are they? let me see them!"
She tried to flap her wings but all she managed to do was knock herself off the bed and onto the floor before Goldenblood could catch her, putting her back in the comfy prison.
"Please don't do that Princess. I really do not want to have to sedate you"
She huffed "Fine. I'll be good. Are they at least ok?"
"Yes they are all recovering as we speak. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for your drake assistant. He is the sole reason why I'm only interrogating you."
She arched her brow, curious. "And why is that?"
He held up a small vinyl record.
"Spike is the only being out of the six of you to catch the million bit message."

"-Time is running out. When does the black moon howl?"
The needle on the record player drifted out of the grooves and into the center, crackling softly in the background
"Alright, First question. Who are the Ministry Mares?" Goldenblood asked
"A guess would be me and my friends somehow"
A scribble on a notepad
"What did that last phrase mean?"
Twilight rubbed her eyes impatiently, quickly tiring of the interrogation
"Goldenblood, most of the questions I know you are going to ask me I don't know the answers to. This is as strange to me as it is to you.
“I’m well aware Princess. Seeing as how you so far are the only one to have noticeably said anything before the seizure, Besides Pinkamena Pie, the Cakes heard her shouting incoherently in her room at the same time you all did. At least as far as I know.”
Twilight raised an eyebrow inquisitively, scientifically curious
“Why was Pinkie’s reaction so severe?
Goldenblood could only shrug.
“We developed a theory after her xray came back, but nothing concrete yet. Besides, Pinkamena is still unconscious but she’s expected to wake up soon.”
The pad is finally put down, the turntable stopped and packed away.
“Ok. Princess, In exchange for answering my questions, I’ll let you see your friends, if that’s ok with you, that is.”
Twilight bristled suddenly, shooting him a dangerous “ Do it now or else 20 years Dungeon” look
“Ok ok! I get it! let’s go!”
The Golden one said as he loaded Twilight into a wheelchair, pushing her slowly out the door and into the hallway.
