The air stood calm and quiet which was unusual because it had been windy and cold all week. It was freezing outside so many ponies remained indoors. Twilight had received a letter earlier stating that she was needed in Canterlot due to important matters so instead of spending her evening indoors like she had planed she instead was on her way to Canterlot.
Twilight planed on flying for many hours but soon regretted it because the air was getting to cold for flying and by the time that Twilight arived at the Canterlot gardens she was freezing. The two sisters were already there waiting for her as they saw Twilight crash onto the cold earth due to exhaustion. "She always tries so hard to please us," Celestia said walking with Luna upon Twilight who was lying in the soft snow.
"Let's take her inside," Celestia began," We can tell her later."
Luna nodded.

Twilight awoke many hours later to silence. She was not cold anymore and found herself in a soft blue bed. "I'm glad that your ok,"Said a voice from the other side of the room.
"Oh um...yea thanks," Twilight said sitting up in the bed.
"We are sorry for calling you to Canterlot making it seem as if something was wrong," Luna replied.
"What do you mean," Twilight began," Does this mean that the trip was a waste of time."
"Of course not, the information that my sister and I wished to share with you involves yourself," Luna replied.
"Oh...so what is it," Twilight asked.
"What I am about to say is the truth and if you do not wish to believe me then I understand. I have been hiding this from you from a while and I do not wish to hide this any longer," Luna added.
"Your scaring me a bit," Twilight said,"Just tell me what it is."
Luna stood up a bit more taller"Twilight, you are my daughter, you may not wish to believe this but it is the truth."
"What,are you sure...are you serious... Why?" Twilight added looking deep into Luna's eyes.
"I reget to say that keeping a foal for as long as I did was not easy. I happened to find a couple who had a child of there own who was more then willing to take you in as long as they never told you the truth." Luna said.
"So...Shining armor is not my brother and I've been lied to my whole life?" Twilight asked"And the only reason that I love to stargaze is because of you?"
"Yes it is true," Luna said.
"Your such a lier," Twilight said galloping out of the room and slamming the door.

Twilight Sat outside of Luna's room with tears pouring down her face. "Twilight?" Celestia asked while pausing from her walk.
"Is it true?," Twilight asked.
"I am not sure Twilight for I was there but I am certain that my sister would not lie to you," Celestia added.
"What do I do now," Twilight sniffed looking up at her former teacher.
Celestia sat next to Twilight. "Just listen to Luna..., I'm sure that she understands what she is doing."
"Twilight!?" Luna yelled opening her door.
"Sorry," She said when she noticed that Celestia and Twilight were right in front of her.
"It's ok," Twilight began,"I'm sorry Luna."
"It's fine, would you like for me to tell you a story," Luna asked.
"Sure, just give me a second," Twilight said tilting her head towards Celestia.
"Of course," Luna said.
"Hey wanna know a secret?" Celestia asked Twilight as Luna was clear out of sight.
"Sure." Twilight said.
"Luna is not really my sister," Celestia said whispering.
Twilight laughed a little before saying," Oh?"

Twilight listened as Luna told her the story of what happened when she was young and to be honest it was rather good.
"So what else do you have planed for tonight?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight it's morning,you've be up all night," Luna said.
"Well, is there anything we can do?" Twilight asked.
"Seriously? Your not even a little tired?" Luna asked.
"Not really," Twilight said stiffing a yawn.
"Hmm I see," Luna replied laughing slightly," I see that you wish to spend more time with me but I cannot let you stay up all of the time."
"Oh I'm sorry," Twilight said quietly before she let sleep win the battle.
Luna put her in the bed and drew up the sheets. "I'm sorry," Luna whisped before returning to her desk.

"Luna?" Replied a voice on the other side of the door.
Luna opened it "yes what is it?" She asked Celestia.
"Walk with me please," Celestia said.
"Will you tell the story about you and Twilight?"Celestia asked.
" Sister please, I wish not to. The things that I did during Twilight's life should be kept between me and her." Luna replied.
"Oh, I see." Celestia said hanging her head a bit.
"Ok fine," Luna said with a soft smile," I will tell you."

"Luna?" Twilight asked siting up in bed.
"She's not here, for now it's only me," replied somepony from across the room.
"Who are you and were is Luna?" Twilight demanded.
"I'm here," Luna said getting rid of the soft voice"This was about to turn into a nightmare.
"But why?" Twilight asked.
"Nightmares are caused by many things Twilight, I saw you stir a bit and had nothing else better to do." Luna responded hanging her head a bit and shifting a forleg.
"Luna? Is something wrong."
"Why would you ask that Twilight?"
"I'm sorry but you usally don't act like this," Twilight responded.
"Twilight? Do you.. Uh.. Feel the same way about me the same way that I do for you."
"Well.. I'm pretty sure that I do but.. How do you feel towards me," Twilight asked.
"I feel as if I love you.." Luna started," Like well that I would always keep you out of harm's way."
Twilight walked a bit closer. "well.. I feel the same way and I'm sorry Luna that you had to do this for me...can we um now spend some real time together?" Twilight asked.
"Just rest for a few more hours and I promise that we will spend the whole night together." Luna promised.
"Oh...thankyou Luna," Twilight asked smiling and hugging Luna in a light embrace.
"Hmm you welcome Twilight," Luna replied.

Twilight returned to Ponyville a few days later. She promise Luna that she would come back and spend some more time with her once winter had ended and the air was a bit more cooler. She felt different some how and rather embarrassed at the face that Luna may be her mother.
Twilight did not care though for she had alot more to life for.
