One-shot: Night walk.
It was getting late, and I noticed that the sun was about to hide in the horizon, at this hour, there aren't a lot of people on the streets, and that makes me comfortable and disappointed at the same time, it makes me comfortable because no one will hear my words about my horrible day at work, and it makes me disappointed because making my little "routine" will be harder now, I have to find a person who is all alone to do my usual "thing".
If you are wondering, my name is Spike, I am an average citizen of this damned town, or at least everyone thinks so, if they found out what I do at night, they would probably say that I am crazy, but I am not, everyone has their own hobbies and things to keep themselves busy, I have mine too, but my hobby is just a little different, that's all.
I live in an average house, with my family: Sweetie Belle and my daughter, but sometimes I wonder if they know about my secret hobby, because if they do, they sure know how to keep it secret, because I haven't heard them talknig about it, or maybe they just don't know, either way, I love them.
The way I fell for Sweetie Belle is kinda curious, at first, I was totally crazy for her older sister, she is called Rarity, and she is a very successful dress designer and a visionary fashionista, I learned some things about that to make Rarity happy, but after some time, I realized that she wouldn't return my feelings, besides, she is too old for me.
And then, I saw her, her little sister, Rarity was a little bit unbearable at times, but if anyone messed with Sweetie Belle, she instantly transformed into a body guard, and believe me, when I started dating Sweetie Belle, Rarity was watching me like never before, always swearing to kill me if anything happened to "her precious Belle".
You don't need to be a genius to know that I took good care of Sweetie Belle, heck, I even live with her now, and nothing bad ever happened to her or between us, we clicked so well.
I entered my home with my portfolio full of documents like always, Sweetie was playing cards with our daughter at the table of the dining room, she looked at me, and said, returning her gaze at her cards:
"You seem tired, aren't you going to let go off that thing? Take off your clothes, drink some coffee or wine, you need to know how to relax, I worry for your health, and our daughter too". I went over to the library, the room where I like to be alone, and, like always, I didn't do anything. I opened one random book I previously grabbed from the book shelf, but I didn't look at the numbers, letters or images, I just wanted to wait."You don't stop working, I bet some of your friends don't work even half of the time you do and they still gain the same amount of money than you" Said Sweetie Belle while entering the room with a glass of wine in one of her hands.
"Can I ask for the dinner now?" I reply with no emotions.
Sweetie Belle and I were fat, not too much but still, inside the little glass I could smell that it was that wine that I personally liked most, oh, Sweetie Belle, you know me so well, my daughter asked if she could borrow some money at the time of the liquors, Sweetie didn't ask for anything, we share a bank account.
"What if we go out for a ride?" I invited, I knew she wasn't coming, it was the time of her favorite novel.
"I don't know why do you like so much going out in the dark of the night almost everyday, but, that car costed us a lot of money, it must be used, forget I said anything" Said Sweetie, looking back at the screen. I shrugged and entered our garage. It was really dirty, we haven't cleaned in months, but we like it this way, all the dust in the floor and the cobwebs in the corners make it a really interesting place to be in.
The cars of the neighbors were blocking the entrance of mine, so, I had to do what I had to do, I broke the window of the car that was blocking my garage, and I drove the darn thing to a spot where it didn't block anything, later, I went back to my house to drive my car, when my car was out of the garage I closed the door, all of those things put me a little bit frustrated, but when I saw the portruding defenses of my car, the special double reinforcement of chromed steel, I felt my heart accelerated by my euphoria.
I put my keys inside the car boot, it was a powerful motor, but ot was silent at the same time, I went out, like usually, without knowing where to go, it had to be a lonely street, in this town, there are more people than flies, it couldn't be on the principal avenue, there's a lot of movement, even at this hour.
I arrived at a very bad illuminated street, full of dark trees, the perfect place, now, male or female? There is not much difference, but no one arrived in a small amount of time, I was starting to get nervous, that always happened, it even relieved me, the joy was greater, then, I saw her, it could be her, but it would be less exciting due to women being the easiest. She walked fast, carrying a small box, this one filled with fruits and other stuff to eat, she was wearing a skirt and a blouse, she was in a hurry there were trees on the street, each 20 meters away from the previous one.
I turned off the lights of my car and I went with full speed, she only noticed that I was getting closer when she heard the noise of the wheels hitting against the curb on the sidewalk, I hit the woman a little bit above of the knees, exactly between her legs, a little bit to the left, a perfect hit, I heard the noise of the impact breaking her bones, I made a swift turn to the left, I went like a rocket nearly hitting one of the trees and I slided back to the asphalt.
I had a good motor, I went from zero to one hundred kms. in ten seconds flat, I still could see the broken body of the woman hitting a wall, and when it did completely, the wall was full of blood, but I didn't care too much, the wall seemed to be like a wall of a house, this was a street with a lot of crime, so, they're probably going to blame this on all the thieves and murderers of this part of the town.
I analized the car on the garage, I slided my hand with pride through the fenders of the car, the defenses without marks, not much people could rivalize my skills with these machines. My family was watching TV.
"You went outside, are you happy now?" Asked Sweetie Belle, who was resting on the sofa, looking directly into the screen.
"I'm ready to sleep, good night everyone." I replied, tomorrow is going to be a rough on my office.
