Heroes meet the Champions
Jack the Butcher walked through the halls of the Crystal Castle looking for his mare-friend Twilight only to find her pouring over various books next to a large blackboard that was covered with a several mathematical equations. On the other side of the room is a large simple mirror in a maple wood frame. A shiver went down Jack’s spine knowing that Twilight was working on a new spell and remembering that the last time she did this the town had an infestation of lemons that turned into lemon spiders hybrids. Those things were mean and got everywhere!
“Arragh?”
Upon hearing Jack Twilight looked up. “Hello Jack. Yes, I’m making sure we don’t have a repeat of last time… and no I still have no idea how a spell meant to replicate the shine of the Crystal Ponies turned into an army of lemon spiders.” Twilight shook her head. “Anyways I’m glad you’re here. My new spell’s almost complete.”
“Rrrgh?”
“It’s supposed to let us take small peaks into other worlds.” Twilight replied as she looked at the blackboard. “I’m almost ready to test it and was just doing one last check to make sure there won’t be any problems.”
“Ggghraaa!” Jack grunted.
“Oh relax. I’ve made all the preparations and I’m positive it’ll work. I mean what’s the worst that can happen?” Twilight asked, and Jack’s only response was to facepalm.
Twilight rolled her eyes and moved towards the mirror her horn lighting up. “Well no time like the present.” But upon casting the spell the beam of magic hit the mirror and reflected off bouncing around the room, Jack raised his cleaver which he had summoned the moment the spell failed. When the beam hit the cleaver it changed from purple to pure white and shot through a window. “Don’t…say…anything!” Twilight said before she and Jack ran out of the house and stared up at the sky.
“Twilight what da hell did you do this time!” Zul’jin roared as he ran up the street dressed in what he called his 'Hunting gear' with Alarak, and James hot on his heels while Tyrael gently landed next to Jack and Twilight. “Everyone in town saw dat blast of magic!”
“Rhagg.”
“I know I’ve lost my temper Jack! But considering da fiasco from last week everyone’s a little jumpy about this kind of thing.” Zul stated.
“Did it do anything? Is everyone alright?” Twilight asked.
“They’re alright and as for what it did…well all you need to do is look up.” Tryael said as he pointed to the sky.
Looking up Twilight and Jack gasped as a large circular vortex that looked like an upside down whirlpool had appeared. Jack turned to Twilight and grunted. “Gragh rag rrrah.”
“Wait…SHE DID WHAT?!” James exclaimed.
“She said one of the cursed phrase.” Tryael calmly stated.
“I know you’ve told me they were ‘cursed’ but I didn’t believe it.” Twilight sighed. “Now I do.”
“Rhaa aaagh?”
“Well the rest of the Elements are getting everyone to Sweet Apple Acers just in case and both D.Va and Starlight are in their mechs. Val’s hunting a bandit lord that escaped from the Minotaur prisons with Sarah. Ben and Zoe are… dealing with a Parasprites infestation in Appleloosa. Brit’s hanging out with Leo. Dan’s visiting Maud, and I have no idea where Jason is.” Tryael explained. “And since Rodger is helping Gilda with fixing up Griffonstone after an earthquake were the only ones who can handle this. Good thing Spike’s taking a well deserved vacation at Thorax’s huh?”
James chuckled. “The five of us fighting together. Just like old times huh?”
Zul nodded. “At least we have more experience now den when we started.” Just then a glowing ball of multy-colored lighted left the vortex, flew down and landed in front of the group. With a small *pop* the light vanished and five figures fell in a heap but a quick glance showed that the vortex was still in the sky.
“GET OFF OF RICK!” A deep rumbling voice roared.
“I would but Sapphire’s crushing my arm!” Someone said in a dark reverberating voice said.
“And you’re pinning my legs Thresh!” The reply came from a woman who the Slayers noted has a slight British accent.
“Hey Winter can you move your right…thank you!” A feminine voice as clear and calm as crystal said, and the Slayers were shocked to see it belonged to a large bird made of pure light blue crystal who had taken to the air after her wing was freed.
“You’re welcome June. Now let’s help the others up.” A second woman replied her voice that had hints of a growl which spoke of a fiery spirit. She has red hair tied into a long ponytail that was covered in silver armor while two long strands that changed from red to purple near the ends framed her head as her scarlet eyes calmly looked at her companions for the best way to untangle them. She wore light plate mail armor and on each arm is an odd gauntlet. It took the Slayers a moment to realize that the right one resembled the jaw of a dragon while the left one is the skull.
As Winter started to help who the Slayers assumed were Thresh and Sapphire, June flew down and hovered in front of them. “You know you can stop standing around like morons and start helping right? And Rick stop moving you’re making this more difficult.”
“June don’t be mean.” Winter called as she struggled to untangle two of her friends while Rick froze with an annoyed grunt.
“Right, sorry about that. Let’s see here.” Zul said as he moved forward and looked over the pile with a careful eye then he quickly helped Winter untangle the pile. Once everyone was standing on their feet the Slayers saw that one of the figures was as tall as Jack, had stone grey skin, a single shoulder pad with four blades on it brown pants that even Twilight could tell was made by combining at least three other pants so it would fit his large frame, heavy looking metal boots, what looked like a furnace for a stomach, a large chipped two handed axe, glowing red eyes, a metal jaw with six large fangs and what looks like a dagger sticking out of the back of his head with a long red ribbon tied to it. Since he was at the bottom of the pile everyone guessed this was Rick.
Rick was glaring at a figure in dark blue shirt and pants covered in gold and black armor, a long bone like chain hung around his neck. On its left end a large glass like lantern that was held together by bronze polished metal with a symbol on it in red glowed with an ominous red light hung while on the other end a large exotic looking sickle slowly swung from side. He wore red leather glove on his right hand while his left looked like it was made of stone and red crystal like spikes broke out of his arm just below the elbow.
Standing next to Winter is a woman in a purple dress, brown boots that almost went up to her knees, brown leather gloves, a bronze collar like necklace, a purple top hat and slung across her back is a long riffle. Her purple hair reached just below the middle of her back. “How on earth was I crushing your arm Thresh? Rick, heck even Winter with her armor could understand, but me?” She said looking at the ghostly figure with the lantern.
“…You’d be surprised.” Thresh replied. “Maybe you should lay off the cupcakes!”
“Rick doesn’t care about that. Rick knows you were digging your sickle into Rick’s leg on purpose Thresh!” The large juggernaut exclaimed.
“I had more important things to worry about then hurting you Rick, and stop talking in third person! I know you don’t have to, you undead monstrosity.” Thresh demanded turning to Rick.
“That’s a laugh you soul stealing freak!” Rick countered.
“Now, now boys no need to fight now.” Winter said stepping between the two and gently pushing the two apart.
Sapphire tuned to the Slayers and sighed. “Sorry about those two. They hate each other for some reason.
“Hate’s a bit of a strong word if you ask me.” Winter said as June landed on her shoulder.
“So who the heck are you weirdos?” June asked.
"JUNE!" Winter exclaimed.
Shaking her head for a moment Twilight took a step forward and said. “I’m Princess Twilight Sparkle, this is my fiend-friend Jack, the one who helped you is Zul’jin, the one in full armor is James, the one with wings of light is Tyrael and last but not least is Alarak.”
“And I would say you’re a group of oddballs yourselves.” James said to which Sapphire chuckled.
“You’re not wrong there. So do you have any idea how we ended up here?”
“Rrraggha ghaaa arrrrrgh.” Jack said as he explained what Twilight had wanted to do.
“….How the hell did we understand that!” June exclaimed to which Jack shrugged.
“Sooo….” Twilight started after summoning a quill and some paper but before she could finish Jack sighed and picked up Twilight cradling her in the crook of one arm. “Noooo Jack! Not in front of guests!”
“How about you go inside to talk?” Zul suggested. “I’m going to go tell the others what happened.”
“Ghraaa.” Jack said motioning for the others to follow him. Once everyone was seated around a large dining room table, five more ponies walked into the room. They are Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie.
“So these are the guests the Zul told us about.” Rarity said before noticing Sapphire’s dress. “I must say that is a wonderful dress darling. It fits you perfectly.”
“Oh ummm. Thank you.” Sapphire said not used to complements like that.
"How about we all introduce ourselves? I’m Tyrael.”
“OH where are my manners. I’m Rarity.”
“My names Sapphire.”
“Ghhhra.”
“Rick is pleased to meet you.”
“I’m Applejack nice to meet ya.”
“Names Rainbow Dash!”
“I am Thresh.”
“I’m Pinkie Pie!”
“I’m Winter and this is my sister June.”
“Sup?”
“My name is James and the one who left is Zul’jin.”
“I’m Fluttershy.”
“Alarak and It’s nice to meet all of you.”
“Well now that introductions are out of the way can you tell us a little about your world?” Twilight asked.
“Well we live in a kingdom called Equestria and it’s ruled by a unicorn named Sombra. He can be a bit of a worry wart at times but all in all he’s a good king. Always looking out for his people.” Winter said.
“So where you live is also called Equestria?” Twilight said surprised. “And in your world Sombra’s a good guy? Here he was an evil tyrant who took over the Crystal Empire.”
“Hey Thresh didn’t we learn about the Crystal Empire and how it was almost destroyed by a witch leading an army of windigos?” Sapphire asked.
“Yup.” Thresh grunted. “In the end Sombra’s great-great grandfather managed to beat her by sealing her and her army in the ice but at the cost of his life, but before the spell was complete the witch banished the empire and no one's seen it since.”
“So who rules over your Equestria?” June asked.
“Princess Celestia and her sister Luna.” Tyrael replied.
“Well there’s another difference.” Winter said. “In our world we just beat Celestia and Luna who thought they had the ‘right’ to rule just because they were Alicorns…did they at least earn their position here? And for that matter did you?”
“They saved the kingdom from Discord the Spirit of Chaos by sealing him in stone with the Elements of Harmony.” Twilight said. “I earned by wings a couple years ago after completing a spell left by Starswirl the Bearded, but we've been through a lot of adventures which saved the world. I’m…still getting used to being a princess.”
“I don’t remember learning about a Spirit of Chaos but then again there’s a lot of Equestria’s history we haven’t learned about yet.” Winter said.
“How did you learn about the Empire?” Rick asked. “Wasn’t it meant to never return?”
“We didn’t know about it until it returned but it did reappear and now Twilight’s brother Shining Armor and his wife Princess Mi Amore Cadenza or Cadence as she prefers rule it together.” Fluttershy explained.
“We’ll have to let Sombra know that the Empire and the witch might return.” Sapphire said.
“How about we leave the ‘how are our worlds different’ topic for now?” Applejack suggested before looking at Pinkie who was busy writing something down in a note book. “And aren’t you forgetting something Pinkie?”
*GASP* “Your right! BE-BACK-LATTER-GATTA-GO-BYE!” Pinkie exclaimed before dashing out of the room so quickly it was like she teleported.
“What… just happened?” June asked.
“Just Pinkie being Pinkie.” Alarak explained. “Trust me that’s the best way to put it without giving yourselves an unnecessary headache.”
“Why don’t we split up and show you around town?” James suggested.
“YEAH! That way I can show you guys some of my stunts!” Rainbow said.
“You some kind of stunt flyer?” Winter asked.
“I’m a member of the Wonderbolts! It’s an elite team of the best flyers in Equestria!” Rainbow boasted.
“Is it also part of the military?” Thresh asked.
“In fact it is. Why do you ask?” Twilight inquired.
“Sounds kinda like the Blue Angles from Earth.” Rick said shrugging and interrupting Thresh who Thresh stared daggers at him... “When Rick was a kid, Rick wanted to join.”
“Before we do that what to the four of you do around Equestria?” Sapphire asked.
“We’re a part of a group called the Slayers. We fight those that the normal military can’t handle to protect Equestria, and I’m talking about those that are of a more monstrous nature.” Alarak said with a small shudder as he had a small flash back to the Caribou . “The four of us and Zul’jin can be considered the leaders since we were the first ones Displaced here.”
“Perhaps we should do something similar.” Winter pondered. “We’ll have to use a different name in case something happens that concern both Equestrias.”
“We can figure out names later! I wanna stretch my wings!” June complained.
“So who’s going to show around who?” James asked, and after a little more talking they figured out the groups. Group one is Jack and Rick. Group two is Rainbow, Alarak and June. Group three is Rarity, Zul’jin, *who had reappeared thanks to Pinkie* and Sapphire. Group four is, Applejack, Tyrael and Winter. Group five is Fluttershy, James and Thresh.
*Group one.*
Jack had decided to show Rick the Castle of the Two Sisters while Twilight tried to figure out what went wrong with the spell and promising to call Discord if she needed help. “So how did meet the others?” Rick asked.
“Ghraaagh rrrghaha rhagaar.” Jack explained.
Rick nodded. “I can see how love can bloom from that.”
Jack blinked and struggled to say. “No… third... per… son?”
“You almost had it that time.” Rick said as eyes moved to show he was grinning even though the rest of expression mouth didn’t change.
“I just do that to piss off Thresh, and as long as the others understand me then who cares how I talk?” Rick said shrugging. “But I do hope you learn to talk normally again. I can only imagine how annoying it is to talk in nothing but grunts and growls.”
“Rhaa?” Jack asked.
Rick growled and tightened his hold on his axe and as the furnace in his stomach glowed brighter.. “That’s not something I want to share so please don’t ask again.”
Jack nodded. “Gha.”
Rick took a deep breath the furnace returning to normal. “It’s fine. You didn’t mean any harm.”
“Gharragh.” Jack said and gently punched Rick’s shoulder.
“HA! Ya we juggernauts should stick together. After all who else is going to soak up all the damage so out teammates?” Rick said and returned the gesture. “So why did you want to show me this castle?”
“Ghaar.”
Rick nodded. “Nothing wrong with wanting to ask a question in private. So tell me, what’s the most violent battle you’ve been in? I mean you must have done something to get ‘The Butcher’ as a title.”
*Group two*
A loud *BOOM* echoed around Ponyville as a ring of rainbows flew over the town. “And that’s just one reason why I’m awesome!” Rainbow said as she hovered next to June.
“That’s impressive… if you like being a living prism.” June said with a small smirk.
(OH boy… I don’t have a good feeling about this.) Alarak thought as he got ready to use his psionic abilities to knock them both out if things got out of hand.
“Oh yeah? What can you do?” Rainbow challenged.
“This.” June said and with a flap of her wings a cold wind blew and encased Rainbow’s wings were encased in ice and she began to fall but June dove down and with another beat of her wings made a huge pile of snow for Rainbow to fall into. “I’m sure you’re aware of phoenixes, but where they are beings of fire I am one of ice. I am a Cryophoenix, and all the powers of ice and snow are at my wing tips.”
Rainbow stared at June for a moment before smirking herself. “Gotta admit that’s cool… pun not intended, but just making a pile of snow is hardly having ‘all the powers of ice and snow’ at your wing tips.”
“So what you’re saying is you WANT me to create a large scale blizzard in the middle of spring which will ruin almost every plant in the vicinity of the town just so show I’m blowing out hot air?” June asked with a raised eyebrow.
Rainbow and Alarak starred at her speechless. “I don’t think she’s lying to us Dash.” Alarak finally said.
“Of course I’m not lying however I can’t call upon that level of power yet.” June said smirking. “I still need to train some more but we think that’s going to be within my capabilities once I learn my full potential.”
Rainbow and Alarak stared at June before Rainbow scowled. “Do you think it’s funny to scare us like that?”
“A bit.” June said. “But if you think this is cool… pun totally intended by the way, Winter is a half dragon and can change into her dragon form at will. Well it’s more like a wyvern but you get what I mean.”
“So she can become a dragon whenever she wants? THAT’S AWESOME!” Rainbow exclaimed.
“I’m sensing a lot of irony with your names.” Alarak said.
“Ya think?” June deadpanned before a snow ball fell on Alarak’s head. As Alarak spluttered and shook the snow off his head and Rainbow fell onto her back laughing.
“Alright I walked into that one.” Alarak said.
June looked at Rainbow and the ice encasing her wing shattered without harming Rainbow. “So what else can you do Rainbow?”
*Group three*
“All that happened within the first year of Twilight moving to Ponyville? Sheesh how do any of you get anything done when something happens every other week?” Sapphire asked as she Rarity showed off her a sketch book that was filled with various outfits that were designed for humans since Rarity wanted Sapphire’s opinion on which to create first while Zul was in the kitchen after changing into a ocean blue tuxedo and making tea out of some rare herbs he and Zecora had found a week before near what they thought was the heart of the Everfree.
“It does get rather hectic at times but I wouldn’t live anywhere else.” Rarity said
“Plus now dat there are Slayers helping out with a lot of problems that Rarity and her friends would normally have to deal with things have calmed down quite a bit.” Zul said as he walked into the room holding a tray with the tea and placed the tray on a nearby table. “Although I have ta admit despite all the trouble that tends to happen I do love this town.”
“So what do you do when you’re not fighting, Sapphire?” Rarity asked as she took a sip. “Oh Zul you’ve out done yourself this time. This tea is simply delectable!”
“I’m an artist. When I was young I loved drawing and painting so I eventually went to art school. I wasn’t anywhere near the top of my class but I still passed with flying colors.” Sapphire explained.
“How long did it take you to get used to your riffle?” Zul asked. “Before I was sent here I’d only used a bow a hand full of times. I mean I gained the ability to use it when i became what I am now but you get where I'm coming from right?”
“Ya I get where your coming from. My dad taught me gun safety when I turned thirteen so it didn’t take long to get used to using my hextech riffle.” Sapphire said.
“Hextech?” Rarity asked.
“Would magitech work better? I mean hextech is a combination of magic and technology which is the only way to describe magitech so they’re basically the same thing.” Sapphire said shrugging.
“Thank you for clearing that up, but I do have another question. What kind of job does your dad have?” Rarity asked.
“He’s a member of a SWAT team and wanted to make sure I knew how use one if I ever fallowed in his footsteps. Guess I am now since the character I turned into is a sheriff.”
“Makes sense and I’m sure your fartha would be proud of you for helping to save an entire kingdom.” Zul said moments before the front door opened.
“Rarity? Zul’jin? You here?”
“We’re in my work space Sweetie.” Rarity called.
When Sweetie Bell walked into the room and upon seeing her Sapphire squeed and rushed over. “You are just the cutest Pony I have ever seen!”
“Umm Rarity is this one of the guests Pinkie mentioned when she grabbed Zul’jin?” Sweetie asked as she tried to squirm out of Sapphires hug.
“Sweetie meet Sapphire. Sapphire meet my younger sister Sweetie Bell.” Rarity said managing to hide her amusement at seeing Sapphire’s reaction to her little sister.
“… Now I wish I had a camera.” Zul muttered and when he did a tiny Discord appeared and handed him a camera. Discord placed a talon to his lips, smiled and teleported away. Zul snapped a few pictures before getting Rarity’s attention and passing her the camera.
Sweetie finally noticed what Zul and Rarity were doing. “OH COME ON!”
*Group four*
Winter walked through the Sweet Apple Acres orchard next to Applejack and Tyrael. Breathing deep Winter said. “It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to take a walk without Ponies staring at me with either disgust or awe.”
Tyrael chuckled. “I know that feeling. We used to get the same stares when we got here. Now it’s only the selfish nobles give us looks of disgust… well they tend to avoid that with me since I’m the Archangel of Justice and they I'll bring divine justice upon them if they upset me.”
“You’d think it be Jack they’d avoid considering what he did to Tirek but they see him as a stupid beast since he can’t speak the way the rest of us can.” Applejack said spitting on the dirt. “But I guess that no matter where you go there will always be selfish and stuck up nobles.”
“Last time a noble tried to treat June like an exotic bird, June froze the noble’s shoes, gave a ‘gentle’ push and watched the noble slide down Canterlot’s main road while laughing like a mad woman.” Winter said chuckling at the memory. “Out of the five of us, I think June is by far the one the nobles anger the most.”
Applejack let out a bark of laughter “HA! I bet she’ll scare them into behaving sooner or later”
“Perhaps.” Winter said as the group chuckled. “But I think that as long as they stop treating her like an exotic pet she’ll stop tormenting them."
“One can only hope they learn their lesson.” Tyrael said.
“Hey sis, Tyr.” Looking to her right Winter saw a Earth Pony and Pegesus fillies walking towards them. “Who’s this? A new Slayer?”
“Winter this is my sis Apple Bloom and her friend Scootaloo.” Applejack introduced. “Apple Bloom, Scootaloo this is Winter. She’s from the other side of the vortex."
“Nice to meet you.” Winter said.
“Same here. Do you know where Dad is and why Rainbow set of a Sonic Rainboom, Tyr?” Scootaloo asked.
“He’s with Rainbow and Winter’s sister June.” Tyrael replied. “They should be at her training grounds.”
“Thanks Tyr.” Scootaloo said before walking way.
“Dad?” Winter asked.
“Alarak adopted Scootaloo, but they almost act as if they’ve always been father and daughter.” Tyrael explained.
“Good for them!” Winter said a large smile on her face. "Always nice to see that kind of thing happen."
“So what’s that armor for? I mean compared to James’s it’s not that impressive.” Apple Bloom asked.
“Apple Bloom that’s incredibly rude!” Applejack scolded.
“Well this armor doesn’t restrict my movement in a fight plus it won’t hinder me at all when I go full dragon.” Winter said.
“‘Full dragon’? What do you mean?” Apple Bloom asked.
“I’m a half dragon. If I become enraged or focus hard enough I can change forms into a dragon.” Winter explained. “But in that form I’m more prone to acting on instinct... I haven’t really had much time to learn how to control it.”
“So does that mean you can breathe fire? What about fly? Oh, oh do you eat gems?” Apple Bloom asked.
“I don’t know if I can eat gems but I can fly and breathe fire. In fact…” Winter said holding up a hand and to the surprise of everyone present it burst into flames. “Even in my human form I can still call upon my inner fire.” Winter extinguished the flames and lowered her hand.
“I bet that would be handy.” Tyrael said.
“So far it’s only been useful when I fought the evil Celestia of my universe and scaring off nobles who try to harasses me or June.” Winter said.
“Why don’t you tell us about what happened when you first got to your Equestria.” Applejack suggested.
“Well when my sister and I first arrived at…”
*Group five*
Fluttershy, and James were showing Thresh all of Shy’s animal friends who quickly warmed up to him despite his slightly horrifying mask and arua. Thresh was currently sitting with his legs crossed, several birds perched on his shoulders, and a wolf pup had settled down for a nap directly on his left and his chain sickle on his right. “You’re looking very comfortable there.” James said.
“You also seem to be used to this kind of situation.” Fluttershy noted.
“My family had a lot of pets.” Thresh chuckled. “Mostly dogs and cats but we did have a few birds.”
“Sounds like you come from a family of animal lovers.” James chuckled.
“You’re not wrong there!” Thresh replied.
“Umm I hope I’m not asking too much but what did Rick mean by saying you steal souls?” Fluttershy asked.
“You see this lantern?” Thresh asked. “With my sickle I can rip the souls out of my targets and lock them in here, and once they’re in the only way to get out is if someone uses the key to open it. The Champion I turned into is one of the most sadistic monsters I know of and only targets those with a very strong will. I don’t know if there are any souls in this lantern since I’ve never locked any inside but I’m not sure what will happen when I unlock it. If anyone is locked inside I don’t know if they will move on or become vengeful wraiths.”
“That’s horrible!” Fluttershy gasped.
“So Rick hates you just because of who you became?” James asked.
Thresh stiffened as the glow around his head intensified and all the animals around him scattered. “No. There are other… problems, but if there’s something threatening our home then we work together. No matter how much we hate each other we don’t want anyone dying.”
No one spoke for a while so Thresh could calm down. Once he did Fluttershy asked. “Out of all the pets you’ve had which one was your favorite?”
“That’s a tough question, but if I had to choose one I guess I’d go with the German shepherd we had when I was five. Mom named him Dove due to his gentle nature and he was always there for me when I needed a hug and my parents were busy with work. You see dad was a manager at the local smoothie bar and mom was a third grade teacher. I guess one of the reasons we always had at least one pet around the house was so I wouldn’t feel lonely.” Thresh said.
“They sound like great parents.” James said. “And by that explanation I’m guessing you’re an only child?”
“Yup.” Thresh said nodding. “So what are your families like?”
Before James or Fluttershy could say anything Pinkie appeared and in a blurry of motion and colors the group found themselves back in the center of town. “The hell?” Thresh said as he tried to understand what just happened. Looking around they found that the entire area was decked out for a party with balloons or streamers hanging off of every nearby building.
“Oh yeah we forgot to mention that Pinkie makes a party for every newcomer to Ponyville.” James explained.
“Yupperuni!” Pinkie said as she appeared with a large cupcake that was being held by her mane which she offered to Thresh but before he could take it June swooped down and swiped it.
Landing on a nearby table that had been set up June said “These cupcakes are freaking delicious!”
“If that’s the case then thanks for letting me try one.” Thresh said his sarcasm so think you could cut it with a knife.
“Don’t worry Threshy! Pinkie’s got you covered!” Pinkie said as she pushed a second cupcake into his hands. “NOW LET’S PARTY!”
*HOURS LATER*
Twilight and Discord joined the party half way through with the news that they had figured out what happened and how to send the guests back home along with the promise that Twilight would work on finding a way to enchant the mirror the original spell had bounced of off so it could act as a gateway between their worlds. After the group said their goodbyes Twilight cast the spell and the five guests started to glow before shooting backing the sky and disappearing in the vortex which vanished leaving behind an aurora borealis.
“Hey Twilight?” Alarak said.
“Ya?” Twilight replied.
“Next time you’re working on a new spell, let us know alright?"

Well here's the introduction to the LoL half of the Nexus-verse. This took a while to write and I like to think I did a good job... so to all those to get ideas for this alternate universe all i can say is. have fun! Before I forget to mention this, June and Winter are twins with Winter being the younger one. I just couldn't find a place in here to add that bit of info with out it feeling forced. and if your wondering why Celestia and Luna didn't appear, it's because when they saw it all they did was shrug and figure that Elements would take care of it.... and I felt like I already had enough personalities I had to juggle
