The Artificial Hero.

Everyone stared in awe at the miracle before them. In the middle of the street laid a lavender Unicorn mare with classic autumn attire on with the most feared expression on her face.

On top of her was another mare, this one was an Earth Pony with a cream colored coat and dark brown mane and tail, holding one hand out.

Beside them was a car, who’s driver tries his absolute best to run the lavender Unicorn over, but was stopped by an unknown force.

The Earth Pony looked at the car with a complete blank face and started to clench her fist, the car replicating the action by closing in on itself.

“WAIT! DON’T CRUSH ME!!” The stallion pleaded.

The mare didn’t stop clenching her fist, “Where’s all that bravery you had when you was about to run over this innocent mare here?” She asked.

“PLEASE! DON’T DO THIS TO ME!! I’VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING WRONG!!!”

The mare only slowed down the car’s crushing, “Judging by your attire, you’re affiliated with a gang, am I wrong?” The mare questioned rhetorically, “Which means you’ve done much more heinous acts than running someone over, like rape, theft, and murder, am I wrong?” The mare questioned again.

The stallion’s face fell even more, “BUT YOU’RE KILLING ME, WOULDN’T THAT MAKE YOU JUST LIKE ME?!” The stallion asked, desperately.

The mare shook her head, “No, I am not like you, unlike you who engage in heinous acts for the thrill of it, I am only ridding the world of another scumbag.” The mare corrected.

Before the stallion could muster a word, the car exploded thanks to the pressure on the gas tank the mare was causing.

In a brief moment, the whole street was lit with the marvel of fire at work, luckily though, nobody got hurt.

Before the fire could get out of hand, the mare crushed a fire hydrant , spraying the fire with water, dousing the flame.

After the flame was completely out, the Earth Pony turned around and walked away casually, as if nothing ever happened.

Everyone jumped the moment the mare came within a foot of them. But she acted as if nothing happened.

The Unicorn snapped out her daze and hastily got up, “Wait a second!” She called running towards the direction the mare walked in.

She had trouble maneuvering through the crowd, but eventually managed to get through. But once she did, the Earth mare was already miles away.

“Wait!” The Unicorn called once more before teleporting in front of the mare.

And now that she was standing, she saw that this mare was tall. Even for her stature of a 11’11, she had to look up to look into this mare’s eyes. She had to be easily around 13’10.

After realizing she’s been staring at the mare for a while, the Unicorn blushed heavily in embarrassment, “Sorry for staring, just wanted to say thanks for saving me back there!” She thanked, “The name’s Twilight Sparkle by the way, nice to meet you.” She introduced, bowing in respect and thankfulness.

The mare returned the bow, “The name’s Buki.” Buki introduced herself before standing up and continued walking, “No big deal, don’t mention it.” She added.

Twilight got up and caught up to Buki, “But it is a big deal, you saved my life!” Twilight reasoned, “I want to do something in return, cause I know a flimsy little ‘thanks’ isn’t enough.” She adds.

Buki shakes her head, “You don’t need to do anything, a flimsy little ‘thanks’ is enough.” She assured.

Twilight shook her head, “Then at least let me treat you to a meal.” Twilight offered.

Buki sighed and scratched the back of her head, “I’m not so sure, you look like you need to be somewhere anyways.” She reasoned.

The Unicorn shook her head, “No, not in particular. I'm not even planning on staying here any longer than a few days to be honest.” She assures.

Buki gave one great big sigh, “You’re not going to let me say ‘no’ are you?” She asked.

“Wasn’t planning on it.” She assures with a firm nod.

“Guess, I ain’t got a choice. Know any good places?” Buki reluctantly accepted.

“Of course!” Twilight replied, “You got any preferred taste?” She asked.

Buki shrugged, “I’d eat anything, as long as it’s not seafood, I’m allergic to seafood.” She states.

Twilight nods, “So, Chinese probably isn’t your forte is it.” She guessed, “Oh well, just follow me!” She adds walking ahead.

Buki sighed again and followed the Unicorn.

The two mares were comfortably sitting at a table, both had just ordered, and were sitting in complete silence.

And it was in this silence, that Twilight started to notice some more features about her guest. One; her sclera was completely black, and her iris was blue, and pupil black. Second; the mare had a few… circuits, all over her neck and over her cheeks, you could only see it if you squint hard enough. Twilight had a sneaking suspicion that the circuits circulated throughout the rest of Buki’s body, her clothing just covered it all.

Twilight wanted to ask her about it, but something told her not to. So she didn’t

But it wasn’t only her face that caught Twilight’s attention. Not only was this mare weird, this mare was also very gorgeous. She housed nice HH-cups, and while her body wasn’t fat, she was by no means skinny either, she was a bit husky, but more on the bigger side of things. Not that anything was wrong with that, Twilight herself was a bit bigger than most mares her age. Or most mares period.

“You said your name was Twilight Sparkle, right?” Buki asked, breaking Twilight out of her train of thought.

Twilight hesitated to answer, but eventually nodded, “Yes, I did.” SHe assured.

Buki nodded, “As in Twilight Sparkle, The Miracle Doctor?” She questioned.

Twilight nodded, “Yeah, you heard of me?” She asked.

Buki nods again, “Then it’d make sense that gang member tried to run over you, you’re medical skills are completely on a scale of its own. And being in a country controlled by gang wars, a medic with your capability is something a lot of gangs would want to take care of, if they can’t take it for themselves.” She explains.

Twilight sighed, “I know, the only reason I’m here is because I happen to come across it during my traveling.” She informed.

“You’re a traveler, so how long have you been traveling?” Buki asked.

“I’ve been traveling for 4 years.” Twilight answered.

Buki nodded, “You’ve been traveling for 4 years, you must be looking for something, what’re you looking for?” She questioned.

Twilight’s face fell once that question left the Earth Pony’s mouth, “I’m looking for someone, that’s all I’m going to give you, the rest is very personal.” Twilight answered.

Buki nodded again, “I see. No need to tell me.” She assured.

The conversation went on until the food came.

After eating, the two mares were outside of the restaurant and facing parallel to each other, “So, am I going to be seeing you any time soon?” Buki asked.

Twilight shook her head, “Sorry, but I don’t plan on staying here any longer than a day or two.” She explained, “I still haven’t found the person I’m looking for.” She adds.

Buki nods before holding her hand out, “Good luck on finding whoever you’re looking for, Twilight Sparkle.” Buki wished.

Twilight nodded and shook Buki’s hand, “Thanks, Buki!” Twilight thanked.

They both turned around and went their separate ways.
