After defeating the Dazzlings with Fragment Hunter, the Rainbooms are preparing for the Friendship Games between Canterlot High School and Crystal Prep Academy. Fragment Hunter comes for a visit with teachers and family when they learn of the competition and convince Principal Celestia to let them join in the games.

However, the human version of Twilight Sparkle is trying to figure out about some of the strange events that circle around CHS. When she creates a device to find and contain the anomalies she's looking for, she ends up bringing a dangerous enemy to CHS. An enemy that the visitors from Remnant know all too well, The Creatures of Grimm.

Can Fragment Hunter and the Rainbooms figure out how to stop them while they compete in the Friendship Games?
