Chapters A week before...
Flash trotted quickly to Captain Armour's office. He was really nervous, since he was dating his Captain's sister!
"You wanted to see me? Sir?" saluted Flash.
"Ah, yes, Flash"said Shining Armour,"Don't worry your not in trouble" Flash sighed with relief. Meeting with the Captain always made Flash anxious. "So why did you want to see me Sir?" asked Flash.
"You've been working really hard," explained Shining Armour,"So I've decided for you to be promoted to Senior Royal Guard!" Flash was astounded! "Thank you Sir for this honour! I won't let you down!" reassured Flash.
He hurried outside and ran to Hoof Park, where he was meant to meet Twilight. "Hey Twilight!" said Flash happily.
"Hey Flash. You seem happy!" noticed Twilight,"What's going on?"
"Shining Armour promoted me to Senior Royal Guard!" revealed Flash.
"So good to hear! You know, seems like this picnic hasn't gone to waste now that it has an occasion..." said Twilight. The duo enjoyed their meal and headed home. "See you later, my Senior Royal Guard" said Twilight.
"See you later my princess" replied Flash. After sharing a kiss, they trotted happily towards their homes.
Flash was idly sitting on his couch reading his magazine and looking at social media. He looked lovingly at photos of Twilight.
Buzz Buzz Who could that be? He wondered.

It's time for your and Twilight's stupid relationship to end. Here's the deal: You break up with Twilight or I kill her. Tick Tock Flash make your choice, and make it fast. Don't even think about warning Twilight, because I am everywhere.

Flash slammed the door shut. This was too much to bear. His life had no purpose. Twilight was the best thing that happened to him, and now he gave her up. But he had to, or she would be killed. Flash loved Twilight too much, so paining himself was worth Twilight's life. If that 'X' said to die for Twilight, he would do it. Buzz Buzz

Meanwhile...
Twilight ran sobbing home. "Twilight? What's wrong?" It was Sunburst,her ex ex coltfriend. They met at Flurry Heart's Crystalling, but they grew apart over time.
"Flash- broke up with me" Twilight choked between tears.
"What! Where can I find this 'Flash' I need to have a little chat with him" growled Sunburst.
"Just forget it. Oh, and don't tell Shining Armour.
"Okay" he said absent minded, "How about we meet a the Hay Cafe to get your mind off all this"
After a quick farewell, as soon as he got the chance, Sunburst took the first train to the Crystal Empire. "Prince Shining Armour!" cried Sunburst.
"What's wrong?" asked Shining Armour.
"Flash Sentry broke up with Twilight!" exclaimed Sunburst.
"WHAT! Guards, prepare my trip to Ponyville!" yelled Shining Armour.
Flash's house...
Flash lay slouched on the sofa, thinking about what Twilight must be going through. Knock Knock Knock
"What now?" grumbled Flash. At the door was a scowling Shining Armour. "Captain!" cried Flash, saluting.
"Why did you break up with her?" he whispered.
"Sir I can explain-" started Flash.
"Why did you break up with her " roared Shining Armour.
Flash felt a total déjà vu happening. Quivering, he thought about what X said about not saying anything about the texts or that would result in Twilight's death. "Um, Sir, I felt that Twilight should... uh what I mean is I thought...." stuttered Flash.
"I have two words" said Shining Armour, "You're fired"
"WHAT! Sir, please, no you can't do this!" cried Flash.
"I am someone who keeps personal relations away from my job. But causing such grief to the Princess, or any mare, proves that you are not worth being a royal guard" explained Shining Armour.
"Give me another chance Sir. I can't tell you why I broke up with her!" shouted Flash.
"You don't have the right to call me 'Sir' now. In fact I'd prefer you don't even talk to me with your fowl mouth!" snarled Shining Armour. Then, what Shining Armour did next was truly horrific! He beat Flash Sentry up so badly he could barely stand up. Then, he furiously left, banging the door. Flash stood there, not moving an inch. "I've been fired" he repeated. Flash started laughing hysterically. "I lost Twilight and I've been fired, and I've been beaten up!" Laughing and crying, Flash stumbled towards his room. He tore down every photo of himself with Twilight, and all memories of his time as a royal guard. Curled up in a ball, he cried himself to sleep.
Twilight's castle....
Twilight was crying alone in the room. Similarly to Flash, she also tore down all of her photos with him. "Twilight?" It was Cadence. Gently closing the door behind her she sat next to her. Without a word, she just hugged Twilight. Twilight sobbed and wept more than she ever has before. "Let it all out, Twilight" said Cadence.
"I just don't know what went wrong between me and-" Twilight couldn't bring herself to even say Flash's name. Cadence didn't know what to say.
She was the Princess of Love, and she could solve any love problem she faced. But Cadence didn't know what to do now. Flash had dumped Twilight. That was the harsh truth. And for absolutely no reason. They were getting along just fine.
"Listen Twilight. Every plane goes through clouds. But what they do, is they always come out of them. Either they fall down to darkness, or fly into the light. The choice is yours about how you will let your clouds effect you. Look outside the window Twilight. I can bet you all of these ponies have been through clouds. But look at them now." said Cadence wistfully.
Twilight peered outside. Ponies all kinds were happily shopping in the market, chatting and having fun. "They're happy" realised Twilight.
"Exactly! These are normal ponies. You are the Princess of Friendship. If your subjects can get through the rough patches, so can you!" explained Cadence.
"Thanks Cadence!" said Twilight, wiping away her tears." I'm going to show the world that some royal guard isn't going to break my spirit!"
"That's my sister-in-law"said Cadence proudly. "Oh, and one more thing!"
"Yes?" asked Twilight.
"Shining Armour went to see Flash!" revealed Cadence.
"WHAT!" shrieked Twilight.

The Rise of the Ex's
"What!" cried Twilight, "Shining went to see Flash!"
"Don't worry your brother can be overprotective, but he's not that bad " reassured Cadence. Slam! The door burst open as Shining Armour trotted in. "How's my little sis? Still upset?" asked Shining worriedly.
"Nope. Thanks to Cadence, I've realised that I won't let Flash effect me!" said Twilight.beaten him up and fired him! " stuttered Shining. Twilight nearly fell backwards. "Are you crazy? Go apologise!"
"But Twily, he treated you like rubbish and threw you away!" explained Shining. Those words stung like anything. Shining was right. Flash and treated him more badly than any pony in Equestria. And he was her ( well supposed to be) his GIRLFRIEND!!
"You know what? You're right! Flash treated me really badly and he deserved that. So you did the right thing Shining" said Twilight. Shining and Cadence gaped in awe. "Everyone expects me to be this 'perfect princess' but I have no idea how to keep up the act!" vented Twilight, " Believe it or not people, that perfect girl is gone" . Shining and Cadence kept staring. They only knew the Twilight who read books and tried to be a perfectionist. "Wow, I've never seen this side of you Twilight" said Cadence.
Twilight's meeting with Sunburst...
"Twilight, good to see you!" said Sunburst.
"Hey Sunburst!" replied Twilight.
"Somepony sounds happy! Feeling better about Flash?" asked Sunburst.
"Feeling much better, thanks to friends like you" said Twilight.
"It was nothing! Now how 'bout we dig into this delicious meal" said Sunburst. Both of them, relaxed and ate their meal, chatting about magic spells. At the end, Sunburst became really quiet. "Twilight, my life hasn't been vibrant after we broke up" said Sunburst.
"What are you saying?" Twilight was confused.
"Twilight Sparkle, will you be my girlfriend?" Sunburst asked. A thousand thoughts ran through Twilight's head. She thought about how she was still pained by her break up. From the corner of her eye, she saw Flash Sentry ordering a meal from the restaurant and heading towards a table near them. Without a word, Twilight leapt into Sunburst's arms, kissing him passionately. At first Sunburst seemed confused, but then melted into the kiss.
Flash was just passing by, and saw them kissing. He looked shocked, gasping. Turning away, his head low, he trotted slowly away. Twilight felt a tiny bit guilty, but remembered all the pain he had caused. Time for him to get his own bit of medicine.
"See you tomorrow my Princess" said Sunburst grinning.
"See you later Sunburst" said Twilight.
At Flash's house...
Flash was sitting quietly in him bedroom. He looked at the bare wall, which were once covered in happy memories. Now they were gone. Twilight had moved on. She was clearing kissing her ex ex coltfriend. Flash knew that he couldn't be jealous, and that anyone had the right to kiss Twilight. But seeing that just felt so wrong. Because somewhere in his heart, Flash still loved Twilight. For the next few hours he sat motionless.
Knock knock knock Flash sat up nervously. The last time someone knocked on the door he got beaten up and fired. Anxiously, he opens the door to see Starlight Glimmer, his ex girl(mare)friend. They dated before Starlight founded her village with ponies and no cutie marks. When Flash found out, he decided he didn't want to be with some pony like that. Now she was reformed, they had no problems between them, even Starlight knows she wasn't worth him back them.
"Hey Flash. Heard about you and Twilight, I'm really sorry" said Starlight, coming in.
"Don't be sorry. I was the one who broke up with her" Flash said glumly.
"So...yeah... This might be awkward-but- why did you break up with her exactly?" Starlight asked frowning.
"I can't say, but didnt want to break up with her, I had to for... reasons" explained Flash.
"Listen, how 'bout we meet at the Crystal Empire restaurant. Old memories?" said Starlight.
"Sure sounds good" said Flash, smiling. He did need a distraction from all this!
Crystal Empire Restraunt
Flash and Starlight met up at the restaurant and ordered their food. They discussed life and what was happening. Flash remembered the times he went to restaurants with Twilight, except now it was with Starlight. Flash noticed Twilight walking with Sunburst and Flurry Heart who was in a pram. "Starlight, I really like you!" lied Flash.
"What?" Starlight asked. Flash quickly leaned in and kissed her. Twilight who was walking by, saw, and ran off in tears. Flash felt bad, but Twilight had kissed another colt in front of him as well. "Guess I'll see you later Starlight" said Flash.
"See you later Flash!" Starlight said, smiling and walking away. Flash was really confused now. He was dating his ex ex ex marefriend to make his ex marefriend ,who he still liked, jealous. "A good night's sleep will probably fix all this" he thought, as he fell into a restless sleep.
Days went by, maybe weeks. Who knew? Life for Twilight and Flash was really dull and sad. Nothing seemed fun anymore. Twilight missed Flash, and Flash missed Twilight. They tried to commit to their current partners, but, just couldn't click just as well. Twilight went back to missing Flash, staying with Sunburst reminded her of Flash. She went to crying in her bedroom. "Twilight, Flash wants to see you!" Spike called out. Should I open the door she wonder, tears streaming down her face. No, I have to stay strong she said.
"Uh-sorry- Spike, I'm busy. Tell him to leave" said Twilight. Flash was standing right outside the door and heard Twilight sobbing quietly. Turns out Twilight didn't like Sunburst. So that kiss was to make him jealous, as he left.
Twilight heard him leaving and opened the door. Outside was Flash's phone. She picked it up, and saw Flash's texts with...X? Who could that be! X
"X? Who could that be? Did Flash really still have feelings for me?" wondered Twilight.
Twilight couldn't investigate further as she saw Flash Sentry heading towards her, looking equally as shocked! "Oh no, I am holding his phone! What would he think!" she thought.
"What was Princess Twilight doing with my phone? Did she find out my messages with the blackmailer "X?" Flash said.
Flash and Twilight virtually had no contact with each other since their breakup... Flash for a fraction of a section wanted to leap onto her and admit how really sad he was without her!
But of course his lack of enthusiasm refrained him for doing what his heart desired. "I am now dating Starlight so I better not hang around but oh Twilight! How much I wanted to be with you!"
Twilight immediately dropped his phone and ran away! Feeling dejected, Flash walked off. Twilight's friends, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy, saw everything. For weeks, they were trying to think of a way to get Flash and Twilight back together.
"I don't know ya'll, Flash and Twilight seemed to have permanently finished!" sighed Applejack.
"I've got it!" shouted Rarity. The girls stared at Rarity. "Sorry, but if we force Twilight and Flash to do something together, they'll bond!" explained Rarity.
"I know, we can make them do a business together" said Fluttershy. So the girls told Flash and Twilight to meet at Town Square.
That evening...
Near the Town Square When they met, as soon as Twilight and Flash glared angrily at each other. "What is he doing here?" growled Twilight.
"Twilight, calm down. You are doing a business with Flash!" announced Rarity.
"What!" shrieked Twilight and Flash in unison.
"No way!" said Flash.
"But I spent all my earnings on this! I'm sure you both don't want to waste all my hard-earned bits, and make me broke!" whined Rarity.
Flash and Twilight glanced at each other nervously. They knew Rarity was blackmailing them, and it was working.
So, Flash and Twilight started there bookstore, 'F and T Books'.
"So, should we start placing the books in their shelves or what?" asked Twilight.
"Sure, why not" sulked Flash. Book by book, the duo filled the whole store with books. Only one book was left. Both Flash and Twilight reached for the same book. There hooves accidentally bumped for a second, and they paused, blushing, drawing back.
1 month later...
F and T Books were in full swing. There business was blooming more than ever! Both of them forgot about the break-up, and they were friends now. In fact, they earned around $2000 dollars worth of books per week!
"So, Twilight, are you going to Rainbow and Soarin's wedding tomorrow? asked Flash.
"Yeah! Maybe, you and I, could go together?" said Twilight. Flash agreed, and they met up at the Cloudeseum. As Rainbow and Soarin said their vows, Flash gazed at Twilight. He always hoped there would be a day like this for him and Twilight. Now was his chance.
A fabulous light show happened above the newly weds. Twilight happily congratulated them.
"Thanks Twi! I just wish you could have had a happily ever after..." said Rainbow Dash.
"What! No, I'm dating Sunburst, everything's fine" muttered Twilight. Rainbow Dash began to say something, but was interrupted by Flash.
"Can I talk to you? Twilight?" said Flash. Flash led Twilight to corner. "Seeing this wedding today reminded me of what our love used to be"
"What?" Twilight said, puzzled.
"Will you make me the luckiest stallion, and be my marefriend?" asked Flash. He knew about the 'X' but he couldn't live without Twilight.
"Of course!" yelled Twilight, leaping onto Flash, kissing him like anything. It felt so good, to kiss him, and feel him warmth. Her months worth of pain was let out in that one kiss and it made her feel alive.
Twilight pulled back, and wept onto his shoulder, letting her feelings out.
Flash was in shock. He just got back with his love! He was more happy than he'd ever been! He stroked her mane, as she cried. Twilight looked up, smiling widely. "I'm so sorry. I was just dating Sunburst to make you jealous" confessed Twilight.
"To be honest, when I saw you dating Sunburst, I went out with Starlight to make you jealous!" admitted Flash,"I better go tell Starlight that I'm breaking up with her"
"Flash, please, go easy on her, I don't want Starlight to hurt" said Twilight.
Later...
"Starlight?" said Flash.
"Flash, there you are, I was looking everywhere for you!" said Starlight.
"I am really sorry, I dated you to make Twilight jealous" said Flash quickly. Starlight was confused, but realisation sank into her face.
"Oh, I get it, I was a just a key to get to Twilight for you!" said Starlight angrily.
"No, I-" started Flash.
"Save it, hope you have fun now!" said Starlight, hot tears streaming down her face. Flash kicked the floor in frustration. He didn't have feelings for Starlight, but that didn't mean he wanted her to be upset. He still cared about her. Hurting her felt awful.
Buzz Buzz "Not again!" thought Flash and he checked his phone.
Dear Flash
Let me tell you a little secret... You are not the son of Blaze Sentry and Night Star, but you are the son of Black Eclipse and Dark Midnight , two of the most feared villains in Equestria. They was banished to the Dragonlands, which is why no one knows they exist. You failed to stay away from Twilight. Ok, I won't kill her. But for your information, she is the daughter of Nightmare Moon, when she was banished she had Twilight, but Twilight was sent back to Equestria, and Celsetia gave her to Crescent Moon and Twilight Velvet to take care of her. Your choice, or I can spill this secret to everyone. I'm sure they won't want Nightmare Moon's daughter leading them.

Flash nearly fell back from shock. Twilight and Flash were children of feared villains! He had so many questions. For himself, he wondered why no one told him, or he never heard of his parents in history books. About Twilight, he wondered why Luna hadn't told her. She was her daughter, kind of. He ran hurriedly towards the castle. He bust open the doors.
"Twilight, look at this!" he shrieked, shoving the phone in Twilight's face.
'What?" she asked, grabbing the phone with her magic. Her expression changed to shock in a matter of seconds or she read over the text.
"WHAT!"
Uncertainty Clouds Judgement
"We are childen of villains !" exclaimed Twilight.
"I guess we better start heading to the Dragonlands to question my parents" said Flash, ignoring Twilight's shocked expression.
"Maybe we should take Spike with us. He is the offical Friendship Ambassador to the Dragons" aaid Twilight. Without futher ado, the trio flew towards the Dragonlands.
"I think we should question Ember first. She is the Dragonlord after all" suggested Spike.
The coincidentally spotted Ember near a large troupe of Dragons.
"Hey Spike, Twilight! Who are you?" asked Ember.
"Hey Ember! This is my coltfriend Flash Sentry" said Twilight.
"Hello!" greeted Flash.
"Coltfriend! Good going Twilight!" teased Ember.
"Anyone in sight for you?" asked Twilight.
"No. Garble asked me out but I declined" stated Ember.
"Well, then maybe you and I could hang out tomorrow at Dragon's peak?" Spike piped in, nervously.
"Sure!" replied Ember, blushing.
"Sorry to interrupt whatever this is, but we need help. Do you know about any two ponies being banished here?" asked Twilight casually.
"Yeah! Every little dragon is taught about the Dark Dragon Cave, where two ponies have been banished. It has protective magic, so no one can get in" said Ember.
"Great! Thanks Ember" said Twilight, hugging Ember.
"Right- The hugs- I won't get used to that anytime soon!" chuckled Ember nervously.
"See you tomorrow, 6pm" said Spike, grinning. As he sat on Twilight's back, Flash looked at him with an amused face.
"What?" asked Spike.
"Look's like somedragon finally got over Rarity" smirked Flash.
"Huh, I figured the feeling wasn't mutual, since she's with Thunderlane now" confessed Spike.
The three headed towards Dark Dragon Cave, where they saw a yellow shield blocking the entrance. Twilight, using a special spell which Celestia gave, opened the shield. In the cave stood two alicorns. The stallion had emerald green colour, with flowing dark blue mane, while the mare had the same skin tone as Flash, with perfectly curled black hair. It was Black Eclipse and Dark Midnight.
"Is that you, Solar?" said Eclipse rushing towards her son, and hugging him tightly. "You're so handsome! Such a fine stallion! Blaze and Night raised you better than I thought"
"Hey- Mom. By the way, my name is Flash, Flash Sentry" said Flash uneasily.
"Solar is the name we gave you. Solar Moon. Flash- wow, what was Blaze thinking!" said Eclipse.
"Great to see you again son. First of all, who are you?" Dark said, pointing towards Twilight.
"Hi! My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, I'm the Princess of Friendship, also Flash's marefriend" greeted Twilight.
"And you're an alicorn! Good to know we'll have another alicorn in the family soon" joked Dark.
"Dad!" said Flash, blushing furiously. Twilight giggled and looked happily at the reunited family. Eclipse was still in tears, overjoyed to see her son again. Seemed like Dark and Eclipse weren't all that bad.
"I know we've just met, and you'd like to get to know us, but now, with the shield broken, Dark and I are going to wreak havoc on Equestria now that we're free. Come join us, Solar!" cackled Eclipse. Twilight suddenly took back her words.
"No! I won't let you harm Equestria!" Flash said firmly.
"Please Solar, you don't even have powers" said Eclipse," Oh, and before we leave, take this mirror, you can always see us through it, no matter where you are"
"I made not have powers mom and dad, but I have love on my side! " said Flash. As soon as he said those words, a bright light radiated from him and Twilight. The cave began to rumble, and with a blinding flash, the cave was sealed.
"Woah! What just happened?" asked Twilight, dazed.
"I guess our love really did the trick" said Flash, nuzzling Twilight.
"Gag! You two are so gross sometimes!" said Spike. Twilight and Flash ignored him, getting back to each other.
Later...
To get there quicker, Twilight transported herself, Flash and Spoke to Canterlot.
"Twilight, Flash, Spike, what are you doing here, and so late!" asked Luna, puzzled.
"We came to ask about my real mother" said Twilight.
Twilight hugged her mother and cried. Flash and Spike looked happily at the reuniting mother and daughter. "You were born several years after my banishment. Which is why you were so curious about the "Mare in the Moon"
"Why didn't you tell me?" asked Twilight.
"I figured I was not the mother you deserved, but all those times you head off the save Equestria I worried about you. Then Celestia would calm me down, reminding me of your 'destiny'" Luna explained.
"Wait, would I be Nightmare Moon's daughter?" said Twilight.
"Yes, you are her daughter more than mine, and you too have a dark side as well, just like I do,except more powerful than mine, since you are Nightmare's Moon's daughter" said Luna.
"Dark Side?" gulped Twilight. Flash and Spike glanced at each other nervously. They certainly didn't want to see her dark side.
"Anyway, I must return to my sister, or should I say your Aunty" Luna joked, "See you later my precious daughter"
"Bye mum" Twilight said, flying back towards ponyville.
In Ponyville...
"Glad that's finally sorted- So where were we?" asked Flash mischievously.
"I think a certain Pegasus was going to take for a walk around town" replied Twilight. Spike gagged, disgusted at their show of affection.
Twilight and Flash strolled off, trotting peacefully into the horizon, but what they didn't notice was a mark on Twilight's castle. A mark-Of an X!

I've got an idea! Might do Thunderlane and Rarity, 'cause they seem really cute together, so that might happen next week. Again, please feel free to provide any feedback!

Just warning you, this is an alternate version of the season 7 ending. And the real Equestrian Twilight's friends have vanished, so that's how Equestria girls comes in. Plus I really wanted Sunset Shimmer to be in this! She's one of my favourite characters anyway!

At Canterlot High...
"Hey Sunset, what're you doing?" asked Rainbow Dash, dropping her soccer ball and walking towards her friend.
"Just writing to Princess Twilight, oh look, I'm getting a reply!" exclaimed Sunset.
Dear Sunset Shimmer,
How are you? I need your help! Equestria is in danger and there is a prophecy, that involves you! And please bring everyone else as well, but unfortunately my counterpart is not welcome. Sorry! Please come as soon as possible. I would like to tell you where to meet me, but someone might find out! Ask Shining Armour, he'll tell you everything

"We have to go to Equestria, now!" said Sunset, pulling Rarity up from her bench.
"What's wrong Darling?" asked Rarity, concerned.
"Read this, everything will make sense!" muttered Sunset, shoving the book towards Pinkie Pie, and pushing the girls into the portal.
They were suddenly surrounded by rainbow neon swirls and came out of the portal, dazed.
"Awesome, we're ponies!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash, admiring her new wings.
"There you girls are" Shining Armour rushed over to them.
"What's wrong?" asked Applejack.
"There is a plot against my sister, and you girls are the key to stop it. There is a prophecy which goes like this:
Into our world, six girls will drop to end this endless rhyme.
The curse will tick-tock to a stop and ring its final chime.
The texts which the X and Flash did swap they possibly shall find, and the regal head shall not be chopped, if they find X in time.
"Woah, we're the six girls who dropped into this world!" realised Fluttershy.
"But what about our counterparts, won't that make it much more confusing?" said Sumset Shimmer.
"Your counterparts- Have disappeared!" revealed Shining Armour, "Equestria is no longer safe! That X is allianced with the powerful Pony Of Shadows, and they are creating havoc in Equestria"
"So where is Twilight? And what's this about Flash Sentry?" said Pinkie Pie.
"Flash Sentry is Twilight's colt- or in your case- boyfriend" said Shining.
"Boyfriend?" asked Rainbow, puzzled.
"No time to explain, Twilight and Flash are hidden in the Dragonlands, I'll send Spike with you to show you the way" said Shining Armour, frantically preparing their trip.
An Hour Later...
"Am I the only one who is freaking out?" Fluttershy whispered. The girls all nodded in agreement. But there was no time to panic, they had to save Twilight!
"There there are!" pointed Rarity.
"Oh my gosh, I was so worried if you'd make it or not" cried Twilight, running towards them and tightly hugging them.
"Howdy! You must be Flash Sentry, I'm Applejack" introduced Applejack.
"I already know who you are, AJ" Flash said, laughing.
"What are you talking, about we've never met!" Applejack said.
"These are my friends from Canterlot High, counterparts of our friends from here" explained Twilight.
"Huh?" Flash looked puzzled.
"I'll explain later sweetie, but for now, how are you all?" Said Twilght.
"Ok. Just confused. And when did you start dating someone!" said Rainbow.
"Long story! How's Flash?" asked Twilight.
"I'm right here!" said Flash, frustrated.
"He misses you, really misses you" said Pinkie Pie.
"Tell him I'll come and maybe have a date, some day?" Twilight said, blushing.
"Hello? Am I invisible? You're gonna go out with some dude in an alternate universe" shrieked Flash.
"I fell in love with him first. He's the reason I love someone as annoying and stupid as you!" screamed Twilight. There was a a eerie silence. The words that Twilight said hit Flash like a ton of bricks.
"Sure, go out without with him, see if I care!" growled Flash.
"Look, I'm sorry-" started Twilight.
"Save it" interrupted Flash.
Tears swam in Twilight's dark purple eyes. "What have I done?" she thought.
Later...
"I can't believe it! There is a threat against me and I'm fighting with the one person who I love" said Twilight.
"It's ok Twi. He can't have gone far" reassured Rainbow Dash. Truth be told, all the girls were all worried. Flash could be in danger right now, because the dragon lands are really unsafe.
From the corner of her eye, Sunset Shimmer spotted a glimmer of orange and blue. She hid behind a rock and saw Flash being kidnapped by a orange stallion with a navy blue cape, messy dark orange hair and glasses. She barely hid back a gasp.
"Twilight!" she whispered, calling her.
"What is it?" asked Twilight.
"I just saw Flash being kidnapped by a orange unicorn with a navy blue cape, messy dark orange hair and glasses" described Sunset.
Twilight gasped. She knew who it was! "Let's go!" she said, "Which way did they go?"
"They headed South, to Black Skull Cave" said Sunset. The pair hurried in attempt to find Flash.
"There he is" said Sunset, pointing to Flash.
There, was Flash Sentry, tied up to a chair, and glaring menacingly at him was none other than Sunburst.
"Surprise, Flash!" said Sunburst, grinning.
"Let me go!" Flash yelled. He struggled desperately, but it was no use. The rope was tied by magic.
"Ha ha, no one will come for you now! And once I've destroyed every last inch of Equestria, your precious Twilight will just be a distant memory!" Sunburst sneered. Twilight gasped, horrified in thought of what pony Sunburst really was.
"I heard something" muttered Sunburst. From the corner of his eye, Flash had spotted Twilight and Sunset Shimmer, and started waving frantically at them to get him free.
"What are you doing?" said Sunburst suspiciously.
"Oh! I was just really tired and was doing a few yoga stretches" lied Flash.
Sunset gently tried to levitate the chair nearer while Sunburst wasn't looking. Inch by inch, the chair was finally close enough. Twilight leapt out of the bushes and started freeing Flash. Sunburst spotted them a few moments later but by then, Flash was free too.
"You're easily outnumbered now Sunburst!" said Twilight,
"Not quite" smirked Sunburst, whistling. From behind him, the Pony Of Shadows rose.
"You may be more powerful right now, but we have something you don't have- Friendship!" said Twilight. With those words, Twilight, Sunset and Flash floated above and three rays of light- Blue, red, and purple hit both of them, and sent the Pony of Shadows and Sunburst to Limbo.
But that wasn't the end. A large burst of magic hit Flash from Sunset and Twilight's horns, creating a eruption. When the dust cleared they saw Flash had disappeared!
When Flash opened his eyes, he saw that he was in an empty blue starry space.
"Congratulations Flash, you've proven your love for Twilight consistently, and I can see you're ready" Celestia said.
'Ready? For what?" Flash was confused.
"From the first day I met you, I know you're something special. I've never seen any pony love another as much as you do!" Celestia revealed.
"I'm still confused?" Flash said.
"It's time for you to fulfill your destiny, as the Prince of Love" Celestia said, smiling.
"Prince of Love? What about Princess Cadence?" Flash asked.
"She has stepped down from royalty to enjoy with her family, and it's time for you to take over"
When Celestia said that, bright blue and yellow swirls engulfed Flash.
Back in the Dragonlands, Flash's cutie mark glowed bright in tthe sky. Twilight smiled knowingly. She knew what was about to happen.
As Flash returned down, he unfurled his wings, which were now similar to Twilight's. And he noticed he had a horn!
"I'm an alicorn!" he shrieked.
"Congratulations Prince Flash Sentry, the Prince of Love!" said Celestia.
"I have something to say. Twilight, I'm the Prince of Love now, all thanks to you. I hope this proves how much I love you!" Flash said.
"Of course I know!" Twilight replied.
'Will you give my life purpose by marrying me?" asked Flash, kneeling down, revealing a dark purple ring surround with 5 silver jewls.
Twilight stared in shock. Her friends nodded happily.
"YES!" screamed Twilight, kissing Flash.
"I guess this makes your wedding and coronation a double event" Rarity giggled.
"Remeber when you guys broke up, and now you're marrying!" Pinkie Pie said laughing. She pulled a screen from midair
Twilight glanced at Flash. Flash's horn lit up out of anxiousness. All of a sudden Twilight burst out laughing. Then everyone started laughing as Pinkie Pie looked around at her friends who where rolling around of laughter.
"You guys are so random!" she said rolling her eyes.
Next day...
"Fillies and Gentlecolts, we are gathered her for a momentous occasion. My Coltfriend and Fiancé Flash Sentry has always loved me no matter what.
But today he has proven not only his love for me, but all of us. And please join us this weekend at the Crystal Empire for our wedding. I am pleased to present for the very first time- Prince Flash Sentry, the Prince of Love!" announced Twilight.
The doors burst open as Flash trotted through. The choies sang as he walked through the aisle.
Flash's parents were allowed stay, but their magic and flight had been taken away. The clapped and cheered loudly as a glittering blue and golden crown was placed ipon his head.
Flash and Twilight trotted out to the balcony, where crowds of thousands had gathered.
"Go on, say something Flash!" Twilight said nudging him forward.
"Ahem. It feels like yesterday that I fell in love with Twilight, and here I am today, the Prince of Love. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the encouragement I've gotten from you.
I have to thank my Captain Shining Armour. His guidence is what has brought me to be the pony I am. Thank you Twilight, Thank you Shining Armour, thank you everypony!"
The crowds erupted with cheers and claps. Twilight's eyes were full of tears.
"I remeber when I was crowned and gave my speech. But today I would hand all my success to you Flash!" They hugged and flew off. "Suppose I could give you magic training!" suggested Twilight.
"You bet!" Flash said.
At the wedding...
"We are gathered here for the wedding of Princess Twilight Sparke and Prince Flash Sentry. There love undeniable, their trust and faith unbreakable! May we have the rings?" Celestia announced.
"I now pronounce you husand and wife. You may kiss the bride!" Celestia stepped back as the newly weds kissed.
Twilight sighed. "What wrong Mrs Sentry?" joked Flash.
"My friends were never foundand never saw my wedding" she said. All of a sudden, she was tapped on the shoulder. She turned and saw her friends.
'Oh my gosh! How did you get here?" Twilight said, hugging them.
"Sunburst tied us up and threw us into the cave beneath Canterlot, because we found out he was X" Rarity explained.
"Then we found the exit at the top escaped in time to see the wedding!" Rainbow Dash said, "How could we miss our friend's wedding?"
At Twilight's Castle...
It had been a week after their wedding, after their Honeymoon at Mount Ares. As they snuggled up in bed, Flash wrapped his wing around Twilight. "I love you Flash" whispered Twilight sleepily.
Flash smiled lovingly at Twilight. She was really tired between their honeymoon and planning the upcoming Gala. "I love you too!" said Flash. He thought about how his life was perfect. He was a prince, married to the mare of his dreams.He hugged her happily and drifted of to sleep.
Everything was finally perfect.

Flash Sentry quietly patrolled the isolated hallways of the Crystal Empire. Out of his armour, he pulled a small photo. It was of Twilight Sparkle. Ever since he bumped into her, she was all he could think of her.
Crash “So sorry Princess” he mumbled getting up. The Princess of Friendship was in front of him. The one and only! Blushing, Flash helped her up. “Please Flash, call me Twilight, ‘Princess’ sounds so stuffy” Twilight said smiling.
“I guess I’ll be going” said Twilight.
“Sure” replied Flash.
“See you soon” commented Twilight,
“Um, Twilight? asked Flash.
“Yes?” answered Twilight.
“Are you free next Sunday?” questioned Flash. What are you doing Flash he thought. “Sure, see you then” replied Twilight.
Sunday...
“Hello Twilight” said Flash blushing. Flash and Twilight met at a quaint restaurant in Canterlot. “Hello Flash,” said Twilight, “How are you?”
“Good” replied Flash “I have to tell you something”.
“Wow same here! What were you going to say Flash?” Twilight exclaimed. “No, no you go first” Flash said.
“How about we say it together?” 1....2....3.... I have feelings for you!
“....”
No more words were needed, because they leaned in an kissed each other like they’ve never kissed before. “Something like that might work” whispered Twilight, kissing him again.
And who should enter the cafe, but Prince Shining Armour, captain of the royal guard, also Flash’s boss and Twilight’s big brother.
"What it in the world are you doing to my sister SENTRY" shouted Shining Armour.
"Shining, it's ok" reassured Twilight,"You don't need to worry, I was just....uuuhhh"
"Stay out of this Twiliy!" warned Shining .
Flash looked around nervously. Shining glared menacingly at him. Maybe asking Twilight out was a bad idea. A really bad idea Flash thought.
"Meet me in my office in 2 hours Sentry" said Shining.
2 hours later...
"You called me,Sir?" asked Flash, gulping anxiously.
"What was that?" asked Shining Armour.
"I'm so sorry, sir I-" explained Flash.
"What was that? " Shining Armour was looking for a clear response.
"...." Flash went silent.
"Well, Sentry?" interrogated Shining.
Boom "Flash, I was so worried about you since-" started Twilight.
"Ahem? " interrupted Shining Armour.
"Please, BBBFF, I really like Flash, don't hurt him!" cried Twilight. Shining sat quietly, thinking about his sister's words. Every since were little, Shining protected Twilight. Now she was growing up, but to Shining, she was still a little filly. Shining sighed, looking between Flash and Twilight.
"You really like him Twilight?" he whispered quietly.
Twilight nodding, tears in her eyes.
"Very well, take care of my sister Sentry- I mean, Flash" Shining. Without any further words, Twilight leapt towards leaned him and kissed him. Shining smiled quietly. His little sister doesn't seem to be so little any more.
That night...
"I'm so glad that worked out Flash" Twilight said. "No one can keep us apart, no one. Not even Shining" Flash wrapped his wing around Twilight. "I love you"
"I love you too"
A few weeks later...
"Cadence!" Twilight cried, hugging her sister-in-law Sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake! Twilight was in the Crystal Empire for the Royal Princesses Gathering.
"So, how is Flash?" asked Cadence, smirking.
"Wow Cadence, you never change" Twilight said laughing.
"As your sister-in-law, I'm going to tell you the positives and negatives of having a coltfriend" explained Cadence. "The good things are getting to love someone, it's a wonderful feeling! But another thing to consider are fights. The first fight is always what stings the most. You have to be careful."
"I will ,don't worry!" assured Twilight.
At dinner, Twilight and Cadence came from downstairs, giggling about their partners. "What are you two laughing about?" asked Shining Armour.
"About the first time you had to change Flurry's nappy!"
Shining Armour's face turned red as the sofa he was sitting on. "Well- uh- maybe you should tell Twilight when you changed Flurry's nappy for the first time" replied Shining. Now it was Cadence's turn to turn red. Twilight laughed. "Speaking of- Where is Flurry?" asked Twilight.
"She's playing with Sun Glitter" replied Cadence. Sun Glitter was Flurry Heart's best friend. They met it a park, and the two immediately hit it off. Surprisingly, Sun Glitter was the son of two farmers who didn't earn much. Both parents hit it off as well as the children. Now, Cadence and Shining helped Sun Glitter's family to live a better life.
Twilight hurried upstairs.
"Flurry! Your Aunty Twily is here!" said Twilight. Flurry and Sun Glitter looked up from their toy castle. Twilight noticed Sun Glitter's golden flowing mane was covered in purple and pink cupcake sprinkles. "Flurry, have you been eating cupcakes?" questioned Twilight. Flurry gurgled mischievously. Twilight laughed and picked up her niece. "Play nicely, okay?" Flurry made a noise which sounded like an 'okay'.
"Flurry's gotten so big!" said Twilight, coming down the stairs.
"It's hard to believe she's 6 months old already!" replied Cadence.
"You and me both!"
A few months later
The shimmering, sparkling moon shone in the reflection of the lake. The trees gently shook, and the leaves fell, crunching beneath Flash and Twilight's hooves as they trotted along quietly. "Twilight, we've been dating for a while" Flash said.
"And that's a good thing, right?" Twilight smiled.
"I love you but I think- I think, I need a break..." Flash whispered.
"What are you saying" Twilight said, looking hurt.
"I'm breaking up with you" said Flash.
"NO, you can't!" Twilight cried.
Tears streamed down Twilight's heartbroken face as she ran off. As she ran, Flash's heart broke seeing her, for he didn't want to leave her. He still loved her just as much. Flash wiped his tears. He needed to man up. Looking into the sunset, he imagined all their happy memories they shared in that park.
Flashback...
"This is so nice of you to take me to such a calm quiet place" thanked Twilight.
"It's the least I can do as your coltfriend. After all, you were the one who taught me how to love!" said Flash mischievously.
"You kidder!" laughed Twilight. The pair galloped towards the sunset, leaving behind all worries.
"We'll leave all thoughts about the future-" started Twilight.
"Till some future day..." finished Flash.
Now...
Tears of solitude fell from Flash's face. Flash couldn't hide them, and he wasn't ashamed of them. He just broke up with the one pony he truly loved most. Flash didn't want to break up, for there was another who forced him to...
