Conflicting Love

AN: Well you guys asked for it and I have delivered. Also from now on dreams will be underlined with italics. This chapter is short but I hope you guys like it. Also thanks to For The Plot for being my pre-reader.

It took Applejack a few moments to realize where she was. She seemed to be in a room painted mostly in white with some floral decorations scattered around. She also noticed a large mirror near the edge of the room. She slowly walked towards it until she was face to face with an image of herself, but she saw herself in what seemed to be a wedding gown. It looked very similar to the bride's maid dress she had worn at the Royal Wedding in Canterlot, but was outlined in more white and also seemed to have a veil that looked to be made out of silk. But why was she wearing this? Was she getting married? She heard a knock at the door and decided to let whoever it was in. Once the door opened, her brother walked through laughing in disbelief. "Wow, I can't believe this day is already here. My little sister is growing up on me."

For a moment Applejack wasn't sure what to say, do, or think during this situation. All she could do was give a simple "Yeah"

Big Mac seemed to notice her nervousness and gave her a reassuring smile. "Look I know that you're nervous but you don't have to be. All of your friends and family are here for you"

"What about Applebloom?" Applejack couldn't help but ask but started to feel annoyed when Big Mac laughed a bit.

"Well I would hope so otherwise we would have set up this whole wedding for nothing. Well mostly Dizzy set this up but we all played a bit of a roll. He was the most exicted about all of this and was the one who got just about everyone to come here."

"Who's Dizzy? And what's with this wedding? And where is Applebloom?"

"Are you alright Applejack? You're starting to sweat a lot. Look stop being so nervous, everything is going to be alright. And the groom can't see the bride in her dress before the wedding, you know that"

Everything that her brother was saying was confusing Applejack. "Look could you just tell me what's going on big brother?"

Just as she said this, music was heard making Big Mac turn his head with a smile. "Come on it's time to go and for you to finally get married to the pony of your dreams"

Big Mac went over to the door opening it for Applejack, who was a bit frustrated to not have any answers, but decided to just go along with it as she headed out of the room as he lead her to the main hall where hundreds of ponies had appeared to attend the wedding. Big Mac lead her up to a spot next to a strange looking stallion that looked extremely familiar but she just couldn't put her hoof on where she had seen him before but simply stood next to him as she looked out into the audience trying to see who had come to the wedding. She saw all five of her friends as her bride's maids smiling and waving at her. But she couldn't fine Applebloom anywhere in the audience but something that had been bugging her was how everypony looked a bit older than usual. Is this supposed to happen in a few years from now? Hearing more music she noticed everyone look towards the large double door as it slowly was opened revealing three little fillies that Applejack didn't recognize and behind them was what seemed to be a mare who was wearing a dress that covered most of her body and had a veil that she couldn't see through but she was sure that she could she a small bit of red hair in the mare's mane and she seemed to have yellow fur. For some reason seeing this mystery mare made Applejack feel strange inside, she felt her face start to heat up, she felt like there were butterflies flying around in her stomach, and she felt happy not even knowing who she was.

Eventually the mare reached the same spot where Applejack was and slowly lifted her veal shocking Applejack. The mare looked just like Applebloom only as a full grown mare instead of a little filly. She wanted to run off or say something against this but couldn't say anything as she looked into Applebloom's eyes unable to look away as she felt her face heat up even more than before. Applebloom seemed to be in the same trance as Applejack as they both stared into each other's eyes until Applejack felt a nudge behind her. She turned to see the familiar stallion smirking at her "We know the two of you are exicted, we all are but the sooner you two stop looking lovey dovey the sooner you two can finally be married"

She took a bit of a closer look at this stallion and saw that he had a black mane, while the fur from his head and neck were brown while the rest of his body was silver. But a strange thing about the stallion was that he had a pegasus wing and a bat wing. He also seemed to have two horns on his head, one being a goat horn and the other being a deer horn. But the strangest thing was his eyes that were golden and his pupils were red with one being smaller than the other. He seemed almost... chaotic. Before she could ask who the stallion was her attention was drawn to Princess Celestia as she began to speak.

"Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to unite these two mares together in holy matrimony. Applejack do you take Applebloom to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to cherish and to love, for richer or poor, in sickness and health, til death do you part?"

Applejack wanted to say something in protest saying that this wasn't right. This was her little sister, she can't marry her. But she couldn't bring herself to say anything other than "I do." Why did I just say that? I can't marry my own sister. But looking at Applebloom's smile and the tears of joy in her eyes she couldn't bare to say or think anything else as she once again was lost in her sister's eyes. She had become so entranced in her eyes that she had barely heard Celestia speak until Applebloom said "I do"

"I now pronounce you mare and wife. You may now kiss the bride"

This was it. This was her last chance to say or do anything to stop this but once again she couldn't do anything looking into Applebloom's beautiful eyes. She started to get nervous as Applebloom slowly approached her. Time seemed to slow down immensly as she started to get closer to Applebloom. No stop this is wrong. You can't kiss your sister let alone marry her. But her thoughts were pointless as their lips were only a few inches away from meeting. She could feel the heat grow even more in her cheeks and she could even feel the heat coming from Applebloom's face as well. Just half an inch away...

APPLEJACK WAKE UP!

Applejack immediatly sat up sweating and panting immensly. "What in tarnation? What's going on?" She asked still a little shaky from that dream. She noticed Pinkie Pie looking over at her with excitment.

"We're finally at the castle to talk to the princess silly. You dozed off on the way and I woke you up like a rooster. So what were you dreaming about Applejack? Whatever it was it seemed like a really good dream since you had a smile while you were sleeping" Pinkie said quickly.

Applejack sat silent for a moment as she slowed down her heavy breathing. Had she really been happy about that dream? No that's ridiculous. I don't have those kind of feelings for Applebloom, she's my little sister. "I... I really don't want to talk about it Pinkie"

"Ooh is it a dream that's filled with your favorite sweets that if anypony knew about it, they would take it? Or is it one of those dreams that show your future like a lottery ticket?" Pinkie asked.

"No nothing like that, I just had a really... strange dream and I really don't want to talk about it" Applejack said as she walked out of the carriage heading to the castle with dozens of questions filling her mind. Why did I have that dream? Why did I enjoy it? Do I actually like Applebloom that way? Was it just the guilt that caused it? Was it just from me missing Applebloom so much? Applejack attempted to get rid of all of her thoughts as she headed towards the castle ready to learn about her dream from last night but just as she passed through the door into the throne room she thought she heard a voice in her head say "So close"
