When I find a way to get back to the realm that would have been mine, I will make sure NO Battleborn will stop me from ruling it." Then, he saw something when he was out of some part of the woods that were so strange to him, and it made him feel nauseous. "This realm could use an evil tyrant rather than some peaceful king or queen. And this realm, will belong to me, haha." Rendain chuckled as he went to the city on the side of a mountain. "Soon when I get to the city, I will be the one to overthrow the King or Queen of this retched realm, and enslave it's inhabitants. I will be their lord. I will be their conqueror. I... will be their new king, hm hm," he said as took he took off. "Soon, they will kneel. Soon, they will beg for mercy. Soon, they will follow my rules. Soon, they will be my slaves. Soon, they will cry for help. They will do whatever I have need of them. Whatever I want them to do. Whenever I want them to follow my demands. I.. am Lothar Rendain, and I will be something that no one can stop. Not even those pesky Battleborn," he said. Meanwhile, in a giant ship... A giant being woke up. He got out of his gigantic bed and took out his horn plugs, and went to the kitchen inside his dorm that was colored red. His faction is "Jennerit" if his dorm was red all over. He got a bottle of Thrall Dew, like Mountain Dew, but a drink for a thrall only, with his grey arm. He couldn't use his other arm because it was a big red bionic glove with four fingers. Then, he closed the refrigerator and walked outside, with only his belly showing. Then, he put his soda in his bionic hand and used his left hand with three fingers to close his door. When the door closed, a grey nameplate with white outlining appeared with a white name inscribed on. "ATTIKUS." And a big applause of imaginary people was heard cheering and clapping. When Attikus had made his way into the mess hall, his fellow Jennerit Battleborn Deande, Rath, Beatrix, and Caldarious were there. Rath saw him over at the door. "Ah, you have awoken, my friendly thrall," he said. Then, all the battleborn including the UPR or "United Peacekeeping Republic" or Peacekeepers, the Eldrid, the Rogues, and the LLC or "Last Light Consortium", were all seeing the thrall they are proud to call a friend. They waved high and went back to eating. Especially a group of battleborn that were Attikus's best friends. "Oh yeah! Attikus in the house!" yelled Attikus's bestest friend of all. "Ah ah ah. Montana. Good to see you up," Attikus said proudly. Then, an Eldrid friend of his spoke up. "Have you been having any nightmares, my fellow brawler," said Kelvin the ice gigas. "Nope. Not at all, my fellow brawler," Attikus answered back. "Then that's good to hear," said Boldur. "It's nice to know you won't have them about that stupid tyrant ever again," Kleese mentioned. "Oh please, Kleese, he won't be having them again as long as we are there for him," El Dragon said proudly. Then, an African American came up. "May I have your attention, please," said Ghalt. Everyone looked up to their leader. "Today, we celebrate another day of triumph over the one who has destroyed many stars. We have put an end to Rendain's schemes. But, we did save the last star: Solus," he said while getting a lot of approvals from every single battleborn. Then, an eagle of the Peacekeepers had spoken from the table where Attikus and the others were sitting. "Yeah we did! We're BAD - ASS and we sure as well gonna keep being badasses forever! Cuz we're battleborn!" Benedict said proudly. He even made Ghalt smile. "Indeed, Benedict. We are the Battleborn, and we'll always be the Battleborn. Which is why I made this announcement. To honor the warriors that I am proud to have as battleborn and I would like for all of you to acknowledge these warriors with respect, love, and trust. For these warriors are the reason that everyone feels hope in their hearts. Let's start off with the Peacekeepers. The Avian, Benedict: the battleborn that people see in the sky looking for hope," Ghalt said proudly, making Benedict raise his right claw in the air with an appeasing applause from his table and the others. "The Soldier, Oscar Mike: a man who is filled with determination and nobility to be there for the innocent," he said while another round of applause was heard, and Montana asking his first UPR best friend a high five with his right, and his buddy gave him one. "The Hearty Son of Aplia, Montana: a lumberjack with a big heart, and a big body will be the best guy to be everyone's shield," Ghalt said to his favorite lumberjack. And now Oscar raised his left hand for a high five in return, which he got one. "Now to the Last Light Consortium. The Man in the Chair, Kleese: an old man who is sure cranky, but, is the best man for the job to produce our shields when we need them for battle," Ghalt said as everyone nodded in agreement as Kleese's friends cheered for him. "The Champ, El Dragon: the toughest wrestler who can punch his enemies to a pulp, and be the loyal battleborn we all know him to be," he said as El Dragon raised his giant robot arms in the air as beginning of his "Undefeated" taunt. "Next, the Eldrid. The Ice Gigas, Kelvin: a creature that is also an ice golem, is not just a creature, but a battleborn who is loyal to his friends and other innocent beings. And the Dwarf, Boldur: an axe-wielding warrior and guardian of every single being, is also loyal to the cause. They are both the best guardians," Trevor Ghalt mentioned as the two Eldrid were cheered on the best guardians of all. "Then, the Rogues. The Tough Bird, Toby: a penguin with a lot of determination, and I mean a lot. The Outcast, no, the Extreme Outcast, Whiskey Foxtrot: a soldier with a lot of fire in his heart that no one can beat that fire. And The Sneaky Ninja, Pendles: a snake that is cunning and clever when he's called for spy missions like Deande, and I respect them," he said with respect. "Last but not least, the Jennerit. The Sword Master, Rath: a man who loves his swords and will do anything to protect the innocent when directing his anger to the bad guys. The Hottest Sorcerer, Ambra: a healer who will make sure that we have the suns she gives us to bring hope into our hearts. The Shock Trooper, Caldarious: a soldier who will do anything to save those that don't deserve imprisonment. The Spy Mistress, Deande: a woman who is the best spy for information," he said while everyone gave them a round of applause. "But, these Jennerit battleborn were on the walls in photo frames and were statues made of gold, to say they were Rendain's best and now used to be best. But they're our best. But, one of them wasn't remembered as a statue or a picture. He wasn't used in the wars. He was used in the mines of Tempest, just like his brothers were and he couldn't stand it. He rose to the occasion that his brothers had had enough of being Rendain's slaves. They needed a leader, and their brother, not by blood, but by species, was the one they needed. A proud, rebellious, but loyal leader. With his spirit, he was the best leader. He was the one for them. He, was the one to be a battleborn. He... was the one we needed. And I'm proud he's a battleborn. That is why I asked Miko to draw this picture. You can bring it out now," he said while Miko came out and carried an art board by the sides and placed it down on Ghalt's right. All eyes were on the board. "Now without further or do, I would like to announce the "Battleborn Of The Year" award painting to," he said while grabbing the white fabric to get everyone's attention, "The Bruiser, The Brawler, and The Leader of the Thrall Rebellion," he says as he pulls off the fabric, "ATTIKUS!" he yelled. Everyone got up and cheered for him. "Come on, Attikus. Do you have a speech for us?" Ghalt asked. "Nah, I'm good," Attikus said. "Aw come on, Attikus!" yelled Montana. Then he held his chin with his left and looked up with excited eyes. He got an idea. "ATTI-KUS! ATTI-KUS!" Montana yelled while pumping his left arm into the air. "COME ON, EVERYBODY!" he yelled again, wanting every battleborn to shout Attikus's name with him. Then, everyone joined in. Even Ghalt and Miko. "ATTI-KUS! ATTI-KUS! ATTI-KUS! ATTI-KUS! ATTI-KUS!" they all shouted his name, and then he got up, and they kept on shouting his name as he walked to the stage. Then, when he got up on the stage, Ghalt gave him a microphone to Attikus's left hand. "Fellow battleborn, I thank you for your admiration. You have given me many things: love, loyalty, trust, kindness, faith, laughter, generosity, courage, determination, and most of all, hope. But, you give me something more than those. You have given me... a family. I love you all, as my brothers and sisters, for I feel like there is magical hope in my heart, and I thank you, for filling my heart with that magic," he finished. Montana stood back up, and he started slow clapping. Then, Oscar Mike followed right after him. Then Kleese. Then El Dragon. Then Kelvin. Then Boldur. Then Benedict. Then Caldarious. Then Deande. Then Rath. Then Mellka. Then Thorn. Then Miko. Then Toby. Then Foxtrot. Then Reyna. Then Pendles. Then Orendi. Then Shayne and Aurox. Then Galilea. Then ISIC. Then Kidd Ultra. Then Beatrix. Then Alani. Then Ernest. Then Marquis. Then Phoebe. And then Ghalt. And then, they clapped faster and louder. "I also made this announcement for one occasion," Ghalt said while getting everyone's attention. "I'm.... retiring," he said. "WHAT?!" Attikus and Miko shouted. "WHAT?!" everyone yelled. There were murmurs and whispers, but then they stopped when Attikus questioned his and his team's leader. "But why?!" he shouted. "We need you. I need you." "That is why I-!" he was interrupted by the alarm. It blared three times, which means... "Varelsi at UPR Colony!" Nova, the ship's AI informed by yelling. "Well, maybe I have one more fight left in me," Ghalt said. Well then, here's your walking canes, old man," Attikus said as he gives his leader his two shotguns. Then here's a reference from Overwatch Honor and Glory cinematic trailer. "Ha ha ha ah. Live together," Ghalt said. "Or die alone," Attikus finished. And then they both high fived each other with their left hands. Then, after Nova had parked... "Battleborn,... let's go make a living," Ghalt said. "FOR SOLUS!" Attikus yelled and then they all yelled and charged into battle. Ghalt, Montana, Oscar Mike, Reyna, Mellka, Miko, Kidd Ultra, Alani and Whiskey Foxtrot were shooting bullets, daggers, energy balls or water balls at the Varelsi charging at them. Attikus led Kelvin, Boldur, Galilea, Phoebe, Caldarious, Rath, and ISIC to charge at them head on. Then, a varelsi gunhulk came and blasted Attikus with a plasma blast. "ATTIKUS!" Ghalt yelled the name of his comrade. That blast knocked Attikus into a steep, snowy hill and rolled all the way down, and then he landed in the ground on his back and made a thrall-shaped hole. Mellka yelled her captain's name, "Ghalt, there's too many of them!" "Go get the others and get everyone and any survivor back to the ship. I'll get Attikus," he said as he went down the hill. Mellka didn't move until he was gone and she went to get the others. "Deande! Ghalt told me that we need to get everybody and any survivors back to the ship!" she said. "On it!" Deande yelled in acceptance. She and Mellka told the other battleborn and they responded well, then they got every survivor back to the ship, and Mellka, Montana, and Oscar Mike and ISIC have been shooting the varelsi until everyone got back to the ship and until Ghalt comes back with Attikus. Back to Ghalt... "ATTIKUS! WHERE ARE YOU ATTIKUS! ATTI- ATTIKUS!" he yelled when he saw Attikus under a pile of tiny rocks. He ran over and used his hands to take out a bundle of rocks and wondered if he was alright."Attikus, are you alright?" "Yeah... I'm good. Just resting a little. *Gasp* Watch out!" he yelled as he pushed his leader out of the way with his glove and used his hedronic claws to stab a varelsi scavern. "That was close. Way too close," he said as he retract his claws. Then, he saw that he didn't kill it in time, for Ghalt was in pain when it scratched his left eye. "GHALT!" he yelled as he ran to his old friend. "Get back to the ship, my friend." Ghalt said to his friend. "But,... without you-," he almost finished until he was interrupted by his friend. "Attikus! You took an oath to be a battleborn, and now, you must keep it," Ghalt said as he took his hand off his eye and held it out for Attikus. "I- I won't leave you!" Attikus shouted as he looked at his hand, then away, then to his captain's one good eye. "They need a leader, Attikus, be theirs," he said calmly. Attikus thought long and hard, then, he grabbed it and held it for a little. Then, Ghalt took his away from the thrall's. It was his belt buckle. "So... your announcement, you wanted.. Me to be the new leader?" Attikus asked. Ghalt nodded once. "Live together with your friends, Attikus," he said. Then, Attikus gripped his captain's belt buckle and then, he hugged him with his right arm, and Ghalt saw that Attikus was crying. A thrall can cry. Who knew? Then, Ghalt also hugged him, then they let go. Attikus turned around. "Never *Sniff* die a-alone *Sniff* with an empty h-heart, *Sniff* old friend," he said sadly and did his last sniff, then pounced his way out of there, or leaped through the hole, crying on the way and looked back while in the air, then looked to where he was going to land. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Retreat //-------------------------------------------------------// The Retreat The Retreat Back with Ghalt with his eye scratched from the right up, to the bottom left, stood where he was when told Attikus to leave him there. He walked to his guns, and stopped in his tracks. He remembered Attikus's words. "Never *Sniff* die a-alone *Sniff* with an empty h-heart, *Sniff* old friend," Attikus's voice repeated in Ghalt's head. "I won't,... old friend," he said as he picked up his guns, ready to face a horde of varelsi scaverns, skulks, hunters, and beserkers. Trevor Ghalt let out a loud, "FOR SOLUUUS!" as he went and shoot the varelsi. Meanwhile, back to the front with the battleborn... "Grrragh! WHERE. ARE. GHALT AND ATTIKUS!" Mellka yelled to Deande as she got blasted at her left thigh. Deande ran over to her. "Montana! Oscar Mike! Boldur! Protect us!" Deande yelled to the three while she carried Mellka and Boldur used his greatshield to block projectiles, and Montana and his buddy, Oscar Mike released heavy fire on the varelsi. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!" roared a very familiar battlecry. It was Attikus! ATTIKUS! I SPOTTED ATTIKUS!" yelled Montana. Attikus charged through the horde all... charged up. "HEDRONIC ERUPTION!" he yelled as he hurled electrifying shock waves. "Get on the ship, NOW!" All the Jennerit, Rogues, LLC, Peacekeepers, and Eldrid battleborn all boarded the ship. They got all survivors. Then, they retreated. Later on the ship... Everyone was attending to the survivors. Alani was attending to Mellka's wounded leg. Montana was speaking to his buddies, O.M., Boldur, Kleese, El Dragon, Kelvin, Foxtrot, Toby, and Caldarius, about what they need to ask Attikus about. Kleese hovered to Attikus, who was sitting at a table, all alone. "Um, Attikus? Where's Ghalt?" he wondered. Everyone looked to Attikus. He sighed and turned to his left, and then back down at his normal hand that was balled up. "Ghalt... told me to get back to the ship," he said. "That, still doesn't make any sense. Wait. I have something that could help us hear what happened between you and Ghalt." Kleese said as he used his past voice box researcher recording box, pressed his buttons so everyone could hear. Then, they all listened to Attikus's and their captain's past discussion. They heard it all. Kleese stopped it when Attikus spoke, but still had his head down. "He... stayed behind, to hold off the upcoming wave of the varelsi. He also gave me this," he said while opening his balled up fist. Everyone was in shock. "His... belt buckle.," Toby said. "He sacrificed his life... for ours," Oscar Mike mentioned. "I should've stayed. He's dead... and it's because Of ME!" Attikus yelled as he slammed his bionic glove to the table. "Attikus. That is not your fault," Ambra said as she placed her right hand on his left upper arm. "I don't know what to believe, Ambra. He said this belt buckle will be for someone worthy. A talisman, for a new leader to rise," he paused after that. "So.. that means," Mellka started. "Ghalt, made me the new captain of the battleborn," he finished before looking up to his fellow battleborn. They were now fully shocked. "But how can I believe to be a captain, or a leader if I didn't stay to protect mine. To protect ours," he said. Then, the portal began sucking up everything. Next thing they know everyone was being sucked in, including Attikus. Everyone hid behind a counter or a barricade. But, some didn't. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" Attikus, Ambra, Montana, Orendi, Kleese, Whiskey, Toby, Pendles, Benedict, Boldur, El Dragon, Caldarious, Rath, Kelvin, Shayne and Aurox, and Oscar Mike all screamed as they got sucked in. First, Montana and Oscar Mike. Then, Kelvin, Boldur, and Kleese. Then, Toby, Rath, Caldarious, and Shayne and Aurox. Then, Whiskey, Benedict, Orendi, Pendles, and El Dragon. Lastly, Ambra and Attikus were sucked in. Where will our heroes end up? Meanwhile in the portal... "Oh I think I'm gonna be sick!" shouted Benedict as he regurgitated a rocket from his mouth. Then, they finally made it through the portal after passing a bright, white light. Then, they all opened their eyes and saw they were falling from the sky. "Um, lads? I think now's a pretty good time to scream for our lives, don't ya think?" Pendles wondered. "Totally," Toby answered. "EVERYBODY SCREAM CUZ WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" screamed Kleese. "Our friend?" Spike questioned as he was still in the bathroom of the Friendship Castle, sitting on the ground with his back on the inside of the bathroom's door, while looking at the ground still. "Don't you mean, "my friend?" Cuz actually I befriended her, and I specifically told you, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash, that I must go alone on the Great Dragon Migration, and you said that you wouldn't follow me. But, what do you? You actually lied to me and followed me anyway! Some friend." he complained. "We were trying to make sure you wouldn't get hurt! You're like a little brother in law to me and I didn't want you to get hurt! "We" didn't want you to get hurt!" she responded firmly. "Well, guess what, Twilight? News flash: I'm not your little brother in law, because I AM your little brother ever since you hatched me like a son, but mostly, as a little brother. I even treated you as my big sister. But you always think of me as your assistant. Sure, I don't mind being called your "number one assistant", but would it kill ya to just call me your "little brother?" he asked while having his right arm over his left arm, looking sad at the ground. Twilight reassured him that he won't screw up, and that if Garble does tell Torch, he won't believe him cuz every dragon must trust the Dragon Lord. She also said "Which is ou- I mean "your" friend." Spike felt happy after hearing what she said and told her that Ember is also her and Rarity's friend. "MANSFORMATION TIME!" Montana shouted as his skin turn into golden yellow. Caldarius gotten Rath. "Thanks, my friend," Rath said. "Anytime," Caldarius replied back. Toby got Whiskey. "Phew! Thanks for the saving me from becoming Whiskey jelly," Foxtrot said. "You're welcome, and also, ew," Toby said. Kleese used his hover chair to get Ambra, Pendles, Oscar Mike, and El Dragon and himself included in a giant sphere of anti gravity. Finally, Kelvin used his special skill, Ice Wall, in a totally different way. "ICE SPINNING SLIDE!" he said as summoned the power of the ice in his right giant ice claw and sprayed the ice into the form of downward spinning slide that goes right. He also used the slide to get Attikus and Boldur. Then, they slid down the enormous slide. Luckily it was like one of those tunnel slides, but with no top, meaning they used their ice claw or bionic glove or axe while on a greatshield and using the axe in Boldur's right hand. Then, they made it to the ground, safely while Montana just belly flopped onto the ground making a crater. "WHOO-HOO! AWESOME!" he yelled. "Is everyone all right?" Attikus said to his lackeys. "We're alright, Attikus," Kleese replied. "But why are there houses made of brick, stone, and... hay?" he said while looking around at the houses. "Are there any residents here, Kleese?" Oscar Mike said to the old man. "Umm, how about those?" After being told by his fellow battleborn, who was now declared leader, even when he said that he couldn't lead his team, Pendles moved his left leg first, then his right, left, right, left, and right and put his left leg net to his right. "There, how's that, O glorious "Leader"?" Pendles, asking the thrall if he was far away from the purple alicorn. While the thrall and snake were talking, Twilight heard the giant grey muscled creature called her.. a Unicorn with her left eye opened. But, she didn't want to get their attention by interrupting, so, she whispered what she was gonna say. "Alicorn, actually." Spike heard her, and turn towards his big sister. Spike stared at the castle when he heard footsteps coming closer by the sound of how loud they were getting. "Thanks." Spike said with a little bit of happiness. Attikus has taken his hand off of the Dragon now. "Quick question, Attikus, why don't you have a tail?" Spike said as he held his right finger pointed at the sky. And then his chin. "Why would I need, a tail?" Attikus said as he stood back up and put his left finger touching his chin. "Well you kind of remind me of a Minotaur, and Minotaurs, have tails," he said with his right finger pointing up in the air. "Why would I remind you of a-," he paused as he tilted his head to the left side of himself. He looked at his right tusk, and then his left tusk. "Oh. I see now. My tusks are like horns, right?" Montana sat on Caldarious's right side, then Oscar Mike followed by Toby, Orendi, Pendles, Whiskey, Benedict, El Dragon, Kleese, Kelvin, and the rest of the BattleBorn who were teleported to Equestria. Then, the ponies, started with Twilight sitting on Spike's left side, with the other members of the Mane6, Big Macintosh, and Discord. "Oh! Here's the firewood for the night, by the way," Montana said as he used his hands to put the wood down. And then he simultaneously wiped his hands on top of his legs. Next, he puts his right finger on his chin. "Now, how am I going to Light this stuff up?" He said with his left hand on his hip. "*Inhaling deeply through the mouth and blows really hard through the mouth and starting the campfire*" Everypony, Draconequs, and BattleBorn started clapping for Spike's way of starting a campfire, Dragon Style. "*Coughed out a cloud of white smoke* Yeah. Real helpful." He said and then looked at Spike with an angry glare. Spike saw this and gulped. Then, without his minigun, he performed his Tickled Pink taunt, and everyone including Spike started to laugh. Then, after they had their laughs, they started to settle down and listen to Attikus. "This speech I made was for the rebellion I lead for freedom." Attikus said as he looked into the fire. Then he closed his eyes and stood up. "What kind of rebellion?" Twilight Sparkle has questioned him. With her right hoof on her chin, nonetheless. "The Thrall Rebellion." Everycreature wowed after they heard what rebellion he led. "The third one, to be exact," he said as he looked at the fire once again. They wowed again. Attikus started to clear his throat. "Brothers... We have served these masters. Now, we will serve NO MORE! We have labored in their mines, labored in their wars, and labored for their pleasures! Today, we will fight, for OUR pleasures! We will fight, OUR war! And we will win, OUR lives, from this tyrant, Rendain! Today, our people, have NOTHING! Tomorrow, we will be the scorching winds, of this tempest! Tomorrow, we WILL, be VICTORIOUS! TOMORROW, WE WILL BE FREE!"
