As the Friendship Festival takes place, Shining Armor and majority of the Royal Guards are investigating a threat looming in Equestria. Just then a strange pony comes over to the Crystal Empire to search for his family, however he acted strangely upon seeing Blueblood. Shining suspects that the pony and Blueblood are connected to the threat in some way.
