Deciding To Live Somewhere Convenient
Pinkie Pie was serving treats to ponies in Sugarcube Corner as she was thinking about her a possible friendship problem she would have to solve halfway around Equestria, it bugged her that she had to go back and forth to the two locations she knew best just to do two jobs at the same time. She was planning to talk to Twilight when her shift ended.
Pinkie Pie served some more ponies and then got off of work, she then went to see Twilight to ask her about living in her castle as Twilight had just talked to her during her break a few hours ago. She soon got to Twilight's castle and ran inside to look around for Twilight.
She came across Twilight who had her nose deep in paperwork that she had to get done with by the end of the day so that this paper work didn't get mixed up with tomarrow's paperwork, Pinkie Pie wondered how long Twilight was going to work for, she wondered where Spike was as she didn't hear that he was there. She looked around the room. Twilight stopped what she was doing.
"Did your shift end? Is Sugarcube Corner closed?" Twilight asked her best friend who helped her with solving problems across Equestria. Pinkie Pie was about to answer when Spike walked by her, she was surprised by his sudden appearance as she thought he had left the castle but it seemed like he was just in another room.
"Yes work ended for the day but if you want a treat I can get you one for free as a friend, I'll share my stash of treats with you if that's what you want." Pinkie Pie asked with a smile, Twilight told her she didn't want any as she levitated some books to the shelf where she had took them from.
"I've been wanting to ask you something for some time, now that we've been going on missions to solve friendship problems all around Equestria I want to quit my job at Sugarcube Corner and work full time here. I need to start putting my talent to good use more often. Can we do that?" Pinkie Pie asked.
Twilight shrugged as she saw no problem with Pinkie Pie working with her full time, she even saw benefits to this huge decision that Pinkie Pie was making, she thought about it for a bit as she looked around at the castle as she saw that it was pretty big for herself, Pinkie Pie and Spike. She grinned as she realized that they could all live there so she told Pinkie Pie.
"Sure you can! I have no problem with that at all, I have enough room for you to live here so that means that I don't have to move stuff aroundI think that's a great idea in fact you can live in the castle if you want, I don't have any sweets here but you can always continue to go to Sugarcube Corner." Twilight suggested. Pinkie Pie smiled.
"Thanks you so much I appreciate this a lot Twilight. This will be easier for me in case we have a friendship problem as I wouldn't have to walk to here from somewhere that I'm at when the map calls me to come here to solve a friendship problem. Have you asked your other friends if they wanted to live here?" Pinkie Pie explained, Twilight agreed with her.
"No problem, yes I did ask them and they all said no as they have their own priorities as well, Rainbow Dash is with the Wonderbolts so she needs to be at her own place when she's call for a performance, Rarity has her dresses to sell, Fluttershy has her animals she needs to take care of and Applejack is really busy with the farm so they all said no." Twilight said.
"Its easy for you because you really don't need your job at Sugarcube Corner but for the rest of them they are doing what they like to do best and Flutterhsy has to take care of her animals. Do you understand?" Twilight asked, Pinkie Pie nodded as she knew that reasoning made so much sense.
Twilight set up a spare room for Pinkie Pie and Pinkie Pie went out to get her belongings, she walked back to the castle and unpacked her items and put them in her new room as all of these items were at her old room. Twilight helped her settle in and soon Pinkie Pie had moved in with Twilight.
Twilight and Pinkie Pie told Spike about what they were doing and he told them he didn't mind having Pinkie Pie stay their as long as she didn't get into to much trouble. Pinkie Pie promised that she wouldn't and Twilight and Pinkie Pie organized past friendship problems they had all solved in the past.
Twilight knew that it was more efficient for Pinkie Pie to live with her so she didn't mind that she moved in with her. Pinkie Pie and Twilight told their other friends about Pinkie Pie moving in and they understood as well. Pinkie Pie still babysitted for the Cakes whenever they needed her to babysit them.
Her friends were confused about the whole thing though as Twilight's castle was meant for Royal ponies to live in with non Royal ponies just to help in but not to live there but Twilight said that she didn't care about the rule and neither did Pinkie Pie. They decided to let it go as it was Pinkie Pie's decision.
Now that Pinkie Pie was living in the Friendship Castle she didn't have to walk their every day when the map was calling two ponies to help out somewhere in a location as she was right there which made her satisfied. She saved herself a lot of trips for herself this way as she continued to help Twilight and her friends. This decision to move in with Twilight made stuff so much easier now so she felt grateful that Twilight would do this for her and she told Twilig that and Twilight said that she appreciated what she said. Pinkie Pie thanked Twilight for the decision to let her move in as she was now somewhere close to the map to find out what her friendship mission was in a few seconds. She and her friends were happy.
