Twilight wakes up yawning and blinking the tiredness out of her eyes. Her eyes shoot open quickly with the realization of where Tempest went, she remembers the night clearly both of them having fun dancing, gossiping, drinking, and then having sex. Twilight's attention was drawn to a note on her nightstand, she go up stretching quickly cracking a few bones before she reached over to the nightstand with her magic gently opening the note. "twilight, if you're reading this then you figured out I left, I'm sorry but I can't stay there we do love each other very much but I couldn't stay there just to be taken, questioned, and imprisoned so I'm sorry..... but this is my decision to leave I know how you must feel. Being hurt, crying and maybe hating me."
Twilight took a moment to catch herself, she was crying onto the note making it a little wet and hard to read she wiped her tears away with her wings and continued reading the note, she was hurting now, but she enjoyed the moments with Tempest she didn't wish to let it end, so she used her magic to get supplies ready for traveling to find Tempest.
"Please..... Just don't come to find me you might not like what you find at all. I just hope you listen and go on with your life...." The note ended with that, twilight closed the note setting it down gently she breathed deeply and sighed to herself. "I need to go find my friends.
She went, and rounded up applejack and rainbow first she went to knock onto rarity's door before rarity quickly opened it holding dresses in her magic bumping into twilight and knocking her over. Twilight stumbled over dazed before shaking her head and putting a hoof to her temple. Rarity spoke up "Twilight, dear are you okay?..." She had concern in her voice.
"Huh? Oh! Yes I'm fine rarity, sorry about your dresses" Twilight frowned, and helped rarity pick up the dresses which looked kind of dirty now. "Rarity I'm so sorry I'll help you with your dresses, I swear!"
"It's quite fine dear, I was going to throw out these gross designs anyway. They were out of style anyway I was just waiting until I wasn't busy to throw them out, they were adding too much space anyway" rarity softly smiled and offered Twilight a hoof she obliged and grabbed rarity's hoof helping herself up.
Applejack spoke up "Uh am all happy to help ya twi but you really haven't told us what ya need help with sugarcube"
Rainbow nodded with applejack and said "I'm with AJ you haven't said anything at all! You pulled me along barely out of my sleep asking for help without an explanation!!" rainbow and applejack kind of looked annoyed at the moment but rarity was a little confused at all of this. Twilight sighed
"Oh sorry we really need to hurry I have something important to tell you all that I really need help with, but we need the others all first, and I'll explain at the castle." They didn't really like this, but nodded all the same and followed twilight as she left to fluttershy's cottage, it took a few minutes of trotting and waving at other ponies working and trotting around this early of the morning. It was 3 in the morning twilight knocked onto the cottage and it took a few minutes before fluttershy slowly opened the door.
She realized it was was after a few seconds of staring before she closed the door and unlocked everything that locked the door opening it wide and said "Oh twilight I didn't know you were coming this early.... i-it's so early though do you" she yawned "Have any reason for coming this early?...."
"Yes, and I'm sorry fluttershy for waking you this early I need all of my friends at the castle to discuss something important that I can't explain right now, can you please follow me? I need pinkie and then I can get to the castle. Applejack? Rarity? Rainbow? Can you three take fluttershy to the castle and wait for me also please wake up starlight to she needs to be included in this." They nodded, and all of them went to the direction of the castle twilight however galloped off towards pinkies.
Twilight went and knocked onto sugarcube corners door before pinkie jumped out with all the lights on as always pinkie was energetic leaping out knocking twilight over as she giggled using her mane pulling twilight up, again twilight dazed with her eyes rolling around in her skull before she grabbed her head and leveling it. "P-" twilight gulped holding down vomit "Pinkie... I you to follow me to the castle it's important please come."
Pinkie gasped and leaped up high above the ground, before landing back down with a light noise on the ground twilight wouldn't ever try to understand how pinkie was well pinkie, she rubbed her temples tired of this "Pinkie!"
Pinkie just looked at her, and giggled happily saying "Twilight what did you do? Does someone need saving did you open a portal to a world with two legged hairless things??!?! HUH did starlight change the past again????" Twilight face palmed while pinkie just giggled smiling her regular smile.
"No Pinkie! It's none of that, I'll tell you at the castle!" Twilight grunted and grumbled to herself tired of pinkies childish actions. Pinkie nodded, and continued to leap up in down saying "Okie dokie lokie!"
Twilight finally got back to the castle with pinkie opening the doors, going to the map/throne room where her other friends and starlight were waiting for her. She smiled happy at this and spike wasn't here because she remembered he was away on special business in the dragon lands assisting Ember making more peace between the changelings and dragons.
"I've called you all here for something important..... Tempest has left and she went away without telling me where she went she left this note." Twilight teleported the note onto the table with her magic gesturing for her friends to read it. They were mostly confused on what tempest said to twilight, until they found out they had a thing together all of them blushing red.
Applejack spoke up, "ah help ya sugarcube..."
She looked at the rest who all nodded and they went to go all pack their things to start searching equestria or beyond to find out where tempest went.

I like this, it took me a month to figure out how to approach the sequel to love is in the air. I finally did it and really hope that all of you enjoy this as much as the first one I did.
