Starlight Takes Sunburst To The Mirror World

Sunset Shimmer’s vacation will be a blast because she gets to spend her time in Equestria with Princess Twilight. She also gets to meet Twilight’s friends, places in Equestria and even meet her former teacher, Princess Celestia again.

***Through The Portal In Equestria***

After everyone left to ge ready for their vacation, Sunset saves more time by going through the portal immediately. Meanwhile Princess Twilight, Spike and Starlight Glimmer are waiting for her. Sunset Shimmer came out of the portal surprising everyone.

“Sunset Shimmer!” Twilight reacted happy.

“Twilight Sparkle.” Shimmer replied as she gets back to her feet.

“It’s been a very long time since we last meet.” She hugged Sunset.

“Yeah, I can't wait for to hear more about you.” Spike said. Sunset also notice that Starlight Glimmer is waiting as well.

“Starlight Glimmer!” She walked up to her. “It hasn’t been that long since we met.”

“I know and it’s very nice that your going to met more ponies today.” Starlight replied.

“Yeah we're going to invite several more guests so you can meet my long time friends.” Twilight said. “And Starlight is going to bring her friend Sunburst to join us.”

“Who’s Sunburst?” Sunset asked.

“You're have to wait until he comes. The dinner will be ready in about two more hours.” Starlight answered while she walks out of the room. “Right now he’s probably waiting by the train, waiting for me.”

“Starlight really wants to be prepared for our dinner like all of us.” Twilight walked up to Sunset.

“You know, sometimes I want to hang out with her to know more about her. She feels more different then I thought.”

“You won’t believe how hard for her to make friends. Anyway my long time friends are downstairs, do you want to meet them?”

“Sure.” Sunset Shimmer feels happy that she’s back in Equestria and she’s thrilled to meet old friends of her’s.

***Dinner Time***

Twilight, along with her long time friends, Spike, Sunset, Starlight with her friend Sunburst are having dinner at Twilight’s dinner table.

“So your telling me Sunset lives in the Mirror World?” Lemon Hearts asked.

“Yes.” Twilight answered. “And she’s going to stay here for the whole week.”

“I think she looks why normal then I thought.” Minuette commented.

“Yeah.” Twinkleshine said.

“Thanks, that really means something to me.” Sunset reliped. “Twilight, is Sunburst here?

“Yes he’s just in the bathroom taking his time. I also should remind you that he never sleeps so his hair isn’t always finished.” Just in time, Sunburst came into the room.

“Sorry I’m late, my hair was messy when I woke up late this morning when I did more on spells.” He replied as he takes a seat by Starlight Glimmer.

“So, your Starlight’s best friend?” Sunset asked.

“Yeah, we’ve been best friends for a long time and it’s nice that Princess Twilight is invited me to this dinner.”

“Well Sunset is going to be here for a week so I wanted give her a respectful welcome to Equestria. Even though she already came back to Equestria before.”

As they continue eating their food, Sunburst was curious on who Sunset Shimmer is since he never thought about the Mirror World before.

“Sunset… You always spend your time in the Mirror World?”

“Yeah, I would explain everything that happen but we’re almost done eating.”

“Actually, I wasn’t talking about your life on your own, I was talking about the Mirror World.” This made everyone completely shock that Sunburst never read anything about the Mirror World.

“Sunburst you never know anything about the Mirror World?” Sunset reacted.

“Well I haven’t read anything about it because I always have a lot of plans. Not that I found the Mirror World uninteresting, I never felt what it looks like there.”

“Trust me Sunburst, me and Twilight took time to get use to our new bodies there.”

“Oh, so we get different bodies there? I’m sorry I lost track, I’m just curious.”

“Sunburst, maybe in the future when I have the time, I can take you to the Mirror World but for right now I want to spend time with Sunset.” Twilight said as she puts her plate away.

As Twilight left the dinner room, Starlight put her hoof around Sunburst. “You want me to guide you in the Mirror World? Sunset Shimmer gave me a tour when Twilight allowed me to stay in that world so I can hang out with her.” Unfortunately this make Sunburst worried.

“Starlight, I don’t think Twilight will be okay with this.”

“Don’t worry we’ll be okay. And besides I want to hang out with you.” she whispered.

“Ummmm… We are going to hang out when we’ll with Twilight.”

“I’ll explain about this when we’re ready to go.” Sunburst felt off about Starlight’s idea of her taking him, especially it’s only the two of them. Then Sunset walked up to Starlight Glimmer since she heard her.

“Starlight, why are you talking to him about taking him to the Mirror World?” Starlight then wanted to have a private talk with Sunset so Sunburst won’t listen to her.

“Sunset can we go somewhere to have our talk?”

“Oookay?” Sunset confused as she walks with Starlight.

“Starlight what’s going on?”

“Just give us a minute.” Sunset and Starlight went to Starlight’s room in the castle so they can have their conversation. As they entered the room, Starlight closed the door behind her.

“Starlight, I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m not sure if Twilight will accept this.”

“Look it’s not about the mirror world, it’s about my true feelings towards Sunburst.”

“Really? I thought you were best friends?”

“Yes but the thing is, I never told him about my love towards him.” This made Sunset completely confused.

“Okay, now your acting more different then I thought.”

Starlight put her hoof on her face as she’s a little embarrassed in front of her friend. “Sunset, me and Sunburst never had an actually alone time. What I mean by that is Sunburst always stays in the Crystal Empire.”

“People sometimes live in far away places, everyone goes through this. As for your love towards him, I guess you feeling a little desperate.”

“Well yeah but I think going to your world with Sunburst could be the best time for me and him.” Starlight looks back at Sunburst who’s now in the kitchen, cleaning his dishes. “Me guiding him into the Mirror World will be something I can give to him into return. He always makes me happy and I wanted to do the same for him.”

Sunset smiled after listening to her as she hugs Starlight. “Starlight, you do have a point. Sure I haven’t know everything about him but after you telling me about your love, I understand. When you go to bed, you can take Starlight Glimmer to the Mirror World.”

“Oh thank you!” Starlight shouted happily. Then Sunburst walked into Starlight's room which shocks her.

“So when are we going to the Mirror World?” He asked.

“Tonight.”

“Seriously? I really need my sleep tonight.”

“Don’t worry we will be back at Twilight’s when we’re done. It will be the greatest night ever.”

Sunburst still felt off but he accepts Starlight’s plan. They both spend the rest of the day by hanging out with Princess Twilight and Sunset Shimmer until the night came.

***Night Time***

Twilight, Sunset, Starlight and Sunburst went back to the castle as their about to go to sleep.

“ Man, today was awesome.” Sunset said while she’s tired after a long day of being with her friends. “But I’m really tired… I need some sleep for tomorrow...”

“I’ll guide you to the room where your going to sleep.” Twilight replied. Twilight and Sunset leaves as they wave back to Starlight and Sunburst. Starlight placed her hoof around Sunburst as their ready to leave.

“Okay, I get that you happy that it’s time but why are you acting so different?” He blushed.

“Because I’m excited, more then the other times we hang out in the past. You’ll find out when we get there.”

They make their way to Twilight’s library where the portal is working. Sunburst backed up after seeing the portal for the first time, it felt really dangerous since it was somepony how made it.

“I’m starting to feel a bit nervous. Are you sure Twilight invited this?”

“Yes. Don’t worry she told me that it’s completely stabled.” She put her hoof under Sunburst’s chin while also giving him a sweet look. “Let’s not waste any more, let’s go.”

The two went through the portal as they made it to the Mirror World. Of course it’s dark out because it’s night time and right now, it’s almost nine o’clock. While Starlight’s back in her human form, Sunburst is having a hard time with his.

“This feels really dangerous, I can’t believe we have two hoofs inside of four.” He said as he tries to get on his feet while Starlight helps him.

“Actually Sunburst, those aren't hoofs those are legs. Sunset took me we’re humans instead of ponies.”

“Okay but I don’t think I can handle this. So what are we going to do here?”

Starlight put her hand on Sunburst. “We’re going to the park while I teach you everything about this world. Shall we go?”

***Guiding Time***

Starlight and Sunburst went to different locations like the park and the mall. Sunburst enjoyed his time in this world, it took him time to get use to his human body despite feeling uncomfortable walking on two legs. During they’re time in the mall, he can handle his arms okay since his hands are really helpful, especially with his fingers. He used a computer for the first time and his fingers became very useful. The more Starlight teaches him, the more he understands. Finally after the mall, they went to the theater to watch the Daring Doo movie. They both loved the movie and it was the best hour in a half for Sunburst since he ever saw a movie before. After that, they left the mall as they came back to the school front yard.

“Starlight I gotta say, tonight was fun like the last times we hang out. I can handle my hands easier with the buttons in this world.” He said happily. “And according to my watch, it’s almost midnight we should go back to Equestria.”

However Starlight stops him by grabbing his wrist. “Sunburst I know we have little time to come back but there’s one more place I want to show you.”

Sunburst is starting to feel suspicious now. “I’m starting to feel uncomfortable now.”

“You won’t be for long, trust me everything's going to be alright.” Sunburst again agrees with her, they leave the stature as they go to the location where Starlight wants to go.
