A cream colored pegasus mare lay calmly on her bed. Her blue colored eyes were opened halfway; her breathing calm and steady. With a small sigh she slowly turned herself over; and gazed out the window on the other side of her room. Outside her window she could see the moon. She longed for sleep to take her; her body wanted the much needed rest, but her mind would not allow it. She resisted the urge to voice her irritation. Slowly she got out of her bed; stretching her body out once she stood up on all fours. She walked to the door of her room opened it and exited her room. She walked down the hallway; heading right for the stairs that lead down to her living room.

Her hooves clopped against the hardwood floor; although she was walking softly she still tried to put in that extra effort to soften her steps. She eventually reached her kitchen; where she then walked towards one of the many cupboards. Opening the door she reached for a small glass. The mare then walked towards the nearby sink. Where she filled the small glass with water; bringing the glass up to her lips. She drank the cold liquid and then rinsed the glass out. She sat the glass in a nearby drying rack; and then walked back into her living room.

Suddenly she released a small sob and fell onto her couch. Burying her face into one of the two throw pillows. The pillow caught the tears like a good friends shoulder. Seconds later she sensed another presence in the room with her. She already knew who it was; so she did not need to look up from the pillow. She felt one arm wrap around her chest; while another wrapped around her stomach. She was then lifted up from the couch, turned, and pressed against another creatures warm furry chest. It was at that moment she had shut her eyes and buried her face into its chest. She could feel her tears sliding down her face.

“Please,” She begged in a voice just barely above a whisper. She could feel something smooth and cold underneath her chin. She knew that it was his talon; which started to slowly tilt her head upward, “Please,” She continued to beg; her voice breaking a little as its talon moved from her chin to the back of her head. That was when she felt time stop; she no longer felt the warmth of the creatures furry chest, or its arms around her. With a small sob; she started to slowly open her eyes, “Don't let this be a dream.” She finished.

Once here eyes were fully opened; she was back in her room on her bed. Her body began to shake before throwing off the blanket. It was rare for a pony like her to get so “peeved” off; especially for a pony like her. But, if you had been having the same dream teasing you for the last three weeks; you would also be a little “peeved”. Like the dream she made her way out of her room and to her kitchen. But, instead of getting a drink of water she had filled a small tea kettle and placed it on the stove. She then sat down at her kitchen table; buried her face in her hooves, and released a irritated sigh.

“Why?” Fluttershy asked herself as fresh tears started to fall from her eyes, “Why am I tormented by this dream?” She finished before releasing a soft whimper which slowly turned into heart breaking sobs.

In another dimension; where everything was chaotic, strange, and discorded. A large house sat on the top of a floating hill. Inside the home stood a strange creature known as a draconiques. It was a male draconiques known only as Discord. He was floating just above his couch; which was suspended in the air. His eyes were closed yet he was not sleeping. No, it looked as if the draconiques was in deep though. It then slowly opened its eyes and released a heavy sigh.

“Again with that dream,” He spoke in a voice filled with anger as he slowly slid upwards to his roof. Only to slowly slide out from underneath his living room rug. His right gryphon arm then detached itself from his body; only to grab one of his horns on top of his head. The arm then jerked him up violently; causing a loud snapping sound to echo through the air. The loud snap was followed by a large amount of dust flying off his body; before he was gently set back down onto his feet. When his arm had reattached itself to his body; he snapped his fingers and summoned a glass of chocolate milk. He lifted the drink up to his lips; but instead of the liquid moving down his throat it was the glass. Once he was finished drinking; he threw the glass shaped chocolate milk behind him and it exploded. Thankfully the explosion did not destroy anything in the surrounding area, “Although I know its a dream,” He spoke with a sigh as he remembered his dream. He could feel Fluttershys breath on his lips; he could hear her heart beating with his. He could feel her warm fur in his talon and lion paw. But as they were just about to kiss; he would wake up.

He released a growl of irritation as his lion paw balled into a fist. That was when he suddenly felt a unseen force. He gazed out the window staring at something off in the distance; he sighed again before using his magic to teleport himself out his home.

In a flash of light he appeared in front of the door of Fluttershy's cottage. Although he knew that it was possibly a dream; he still gently opened the door. Just like in the dream he would see Fluttershy lying on her couch; face buried in one of the throw pillow, crying softly. Slowly he walked across the floor towards. But, this time something was added to this dream.

(Why must three simple words be so hard for me to say.)

Discord had came to a stop and just stared at the mare. Who slowly sat up and stared at the floor.

(You always seem to make me smile; and every little thing you do seems to take my breath away.)

She then looked up at the draconiques; allowing him to see her tear stained face.

(Only now I have the courage to tell you how I feel.)

A smile stretched across her face before she looked down; just as a single tear fell from one of her eyes.

(But sadly my courage is not real.)

Discord slowly started walking towards her again; even though this was possibly still a dream. It still hurt him to see her this sad.

(Every night the dream always starts to same.)

Fluttershy slowly slid off her couch and started to walk towards him.

(I feel like I am awake; it feels so real, but that's when the dream starts to play its cruel game.)

With tears of his own falling from his eyes Discord started to sing with her.

(I can feel your touch. I can hear your heart beat.)

The two eventually came to a stop in front of each other.

(With a gentle hold I sweep you off your feet.)

Just like in the dream he picked her up and held her close.

(Here I am crying rivers of tears into your chest again.)

Discord gently placed his talon underneath her chin; allowing him to slowly tilt her head upwards.

(I know soon we'll be right back at where we began.)

Both of them knew this was to good to be real; so both of them decided to take one more look at each other. Before closing their eyes again.

(Why can't I say how I feel when I am awake?)

Slowly the two started to close the gap in between them.

(Why must this dream cause so much heartache.)

Their bodies gently pressed against each other; as they started to feel each others breath.

(Oh, I wish I had to courage to so I can finally do what I need to do.)

A single tear feel from their eyes; for both of them knew they were eventually going to wake up.

(I wish I could tell you that.......I.......love you.)

Gently they pressed their lips together; they could feel the warmth of the kiss spread through their bodies. Tears fell like endless rivers from their eyes; which started to slowly open. When they fully opened their eyes; they broke the kiss and smiled happily. For this was no dream; this was reality.
They kissed again this time long and with more passion. When they broke the kiss a few seconds later; Discord carried her up to her room. Gently placed her in bed; before crawling into bed next to her. Using his magic he covered both of them with a large blanket. They then wrapped their arms around each other. Holding each other close; before they kissed once more.

“I love you, Fluttershy.” Discord said in a voice just above a whisper.

“I love you too, Discord.” Fluttershy replied in a voice filled with nothing but happiness.

Both of them then fell asleep; but this time instead of the same dream that had been plaguing for the past few weeks. They were sitting on a cloud gazing up at the night sky; holding each close, but neither of them were in a hurry to wake up. Because their dreams were starting to become reality.
