NightMare Hood
The Story
Tears ran her eyes, as I watched her hold her own daughter. Screaming, she noticed everyone crowded around her in a shocked position. Who had done this? For what purpose? Were the questions they had asked. I stood in the distance looking at all of them, I felt pity.
That’s not the bad part. What the problem was the assassin had left her/his knife in the scene of the crime. I whispered to myself “Damn, should have had gone with the bow.”
That’s right, I was the one. But it was my job; I was part of the “Night MareHood.” We were suppose to do what we were told… or else we would face the consequences. They weren’t good obviously, but we were forced to watch our friends.
Oh I’m sorry; I forgot to mention my name. I am known from a lot of places. Canterlot, Ponyville, etc. But who am I? My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I have lived in Ponyville for years.
The “Night MareHood” was around for ages though. Our leader is an Alicorn, only a few in existence. She was called Nightmare Moon, but we called her Luna. She took care of all of us. She knew all our names by heart, but there was still some evil inside of her.
Remember what I said earlier? About how we were forced to watch our friends get killed? Well, I wasn’t lying. We couldn’t stand it. I seen my best friends get killed, even the people I don’t know.
The only friends I had now were the ones I trusted. They were good with their deeds and quests, but not to get bossy, I was the best. I was the NightWiz. That was my class that I was great at. No one could run away from me… and manage to stay alive.
My Friends were all different classes. Describing them is not hard for me. First that comes is Rainbow Dash. She was the fastest of all of us. Her job was to watch and make sure that the prisoners weren’t trying to escape. Well if you were to ask me, she did a pretty good job.
Rainbow knew when a prisoner was about to escape. She was even better than an average warden. If they were to step one foot out of their cell, Rainbow could catch them faster than a supersonic leopard! If she caught you, you would be sentenced five more years in the Night MareHood.“I’m always the fastest pony!” she would say. But… She was right.
Then, there’s the disguise maker, Pinkie. She got the costumes you need. Not only is she great at disguises, but at surprise attacks. This one time she dressed as a old lady, and she tricked the outsiders perfectly! They couldn’t tell that she was one of us.
Not only is pinkie a great Disguise maker, she is also makes poison! Yes it seems absurd, but not a bad idea actually. The poisons are used on Pinkies specialty food, cupcakes.
Cupcakes, that probably sounds like a weird idea to you. But to us, it’s a great idea. Pinkie knew how to insert poison in the cupcakes without leaving a trace of liquid on the snack. It was placed always in the middle. “Put the liquid in the middle, and a man won’t play his fiddle.”
Yes the motto of Pinkie was strange, but it kind of made sense. The outsiders were our foes and their favorite hobby was to play the fiddle. Those fiddles they had were there weapons as well. How? Well it’s hard to explain.
The fiddles were originated by a creature known as Discord. He is now gone but his fiddles are carried by the outsiders. The fiddles were made with an enchanted switch which allowed the fiddles to be played and cause a ponies head… Well, you get the point. Those fiddles were bad news.
We don’t exactly know how they were found, we just know that they were played by the outsiders and there leader. Oh, I forgot to tell you something important, the leader of the outsiders.
She was our man priority because, she was the one who made our leader the way she is, evil. But our purpose was to get her treasures to make our queen loving again.
These treasures weren’t just something we needed to make our queen nice again. They were also use to defeat Discord, used to be helpful, and people wanted it for power. These treasures had a name that we know them as… The Elements of Harmony…
