The Barrel

Twilight was so excited, she just got her latest Antique Barrel from the Starswill Antique Store. I decided to celebrate our victory against the Shadow Pony with some unbarreling ! Starlight was busy with Sunburst, in bed, so I did it by myself. I gently lowered it down to the floor. PLONK! Then I opened it by hoof. The way to the best experience with the ‘Barrels’ was to do it by hoof after putting it down. “Hmph! Open all ready! Why does it always slip like that!” I cursed. Soon I found the clamp and opend the barrel.
“Yeeeasss! Opened it! Oh yeah I did it! I did!” I shouted, I was always this happy when I opened it this way. I started to take the first item out...
“Twilight, what were you shouting about?” asked Spike,”And why did you let Starlight and Sunset in my bedroom?”
“Sorry Spike. I wasn’t concentrating. I got a new barrel so....” I started.
“It’s ok Twi. Been a rough weel for us all. I suppose I did prank Starlight this morning...” Spike confessed.
“SSSSssspppiiiiIKE! No wonder she wanted her ‘session’ in your bed. No if you don’t mind I am busy. Plus don’t you need to finish my paperwork. If there is any thing were I have to leave the Castle within the next 3 days. Inam not going!” I shouted, unimpressed by both Spike and Starlight.
“Ok Twi...”
Spike soon left to go into the study. Yeesh! He is very nosy and annoying. Why does he ALWAYS have to be around when I am in THIS mood, I DONT KNOW! ”Ugh!” I grunted. Then I focused on the barrel again. I took out the first item, well it wasn’t just one it was a series of old dusty books!”Starswill’s guide ancient relics Vol 11-20! Yeeeeaasss! I have looked everywhere for this this is the last set of these to complete my collection. I have evry book up to VoL 50 but these! Squee!” I squeed. I was so happy. But I hadn’t order super ultra deluxe barrel or XXXXXXXXXXL for nothing, did I?
Yes, usually ten books would have taken up a whole barrel. But this one uses ‘Pinkie Logic’! Like Pinkie it can hold an unusual amount of items in a small area, like her mane. So it was a normal sized barrel, just 10 times the amount of items!”Squee!”
I took out item after item of items after items. And all those items was a build your own flying machine from 875 years ago. Well on an average/ guess. After that we had only half a barrel left, or LESS. I didn’t really need the flying machine but it was a nice collectable to give to Sunburst as a present for helping us with the ‘Starswill Case’. He did say he wondered how I fly with these wings, before.
I took the next thing out. Pony Tale Classics! All the original folk tales written in one book a thousand years back. True stories, like the fall of Discord and fake such as the Rainbow Factory! The Rainbow Factory was an old pegasus tale to make sure all fillies and colts in Cloudsdale try their hardest at everything they do. Cloudsdale was always a city wanting to their the best!
So I took the next thing out, and antique Saddle Arabian set, containing ‘addle silver ware, pots, children’s toys(for Flurry) and Saddles! At least over a thousand years old! And after a few hours of unpacking loads of old books from the Castle of the Two Sisters there was just one more item left.
“The Last one is the Best! They always say!” I said to myself.
”And Starswill, for I have seen what the future holds for you.
I have prepared a gift. Lets say a farewell party!
You WILL leave your students behind.
ALONE!”
“NEVER! I will never leave them ALONE!” Shouted Starswill.
“Too late, you already did. And guess what! Their parents just DIED!”
“THEY, they couldn’t have!” Shouted Starswill.
“Well they did, farewell Starswill.
ALTHOUGH...

At the bottom of the barrel was an old pocket whatch. It was dusty and small enough to hold in your hoof. I picked it up. “MIIINNE!” I shouted. “Wait, why did I say that?” I asked myself. Well never mind, I looked at it to realize it was morning, the next day. I had made spike work all night! Puzzled I hid it using my so no one could take it it was there all the time just hidden with my magic.
I saw Starlight Glimmer walking down the stairs. She saw I had a frown on my face.”Uhhh, hi Twilight....”
“Starlight! I expect better of you! Going into Spikes bedroom for your own pleasuring SEX with Sunburst. You must say soory to Spike NOW! He had to sleep on the floor if he even slept at all!” I scolded.
“Sorry Twilight,” said Sunburst as he walked down the stairs too,”You see, well, we didn’t use protection this time since Starlight has been in heat and we decided we wanted a kid. She made it go on all night just to make sure I got her pregnant and she wanted to get Spike back but she said we would leave before 11:00, Spike’s usual bed time....”
“PLEASE FOR GIVE US!” begged Starlight.
“Urgh, fine. I am tired too. I need some rest. Please don’t bother me. I have been up all night opening the Super Deluxe. You see,” I told the, as I left for upstairs. I yawned as I got to the top.
“Ahh, here we are Watchy, my bedroom as I placed the watch beside my bed and I took out a book to read. Fluttershy’s book on animals she wants me to edit. I picked up the watch with my magic and got some string too. I made a knot her and a knot there and then.. Volla! I had a necklace. I put it ‘round my neck so Watchey and me could go every where, together.
”Thats right take me with you, master.”
“Wh, who said that?” I asked. Did the watch speak. Nah, they aren’t even campable of possesing MAGIC, thats IMPOSSIBLE! Watchey can only posses magic if he was created by magic. And why would ANYPONY want a watch to possess magic. NOPONY! Wait, I would after all. Watchy is my baby, “Watchey’s MIIINNE!”
I shook my head, why am I fixated on this watch. Thats not normal but anywho, I need to see Starlight. I slept for a whole day! I need to see if she said sorry to Spike.”Starlight Glimmer! Where are you! I need to chat to you! Starlight?” I called,”Starlight...”

“Here I am, Twi! Whats the promblem?” she asked.
“Did you say sorry to Spike?” I asked
“Yes Twi, but I am busy reading a book, want to- What’s that on your neck?”
“Oh, this. This is my little baby aren’t you Watchey! Yes you ARE!”
“‘Watchey? Twilight are you ok?”
“Yes I am fine, Watchey’s MIIINNE! See fine, I would looove to read that book with you. What are you reading?”
“Ok, if you are sure. Parenting for Dummies. Sunburst is reading it too!”
Ugh,”Oh, of COURSE! You guys just bucked each other till ya wipped up a family a day and a few hours ago!”
“Yes, Sunburst is moving in. You have so many empty rooms we are making them into a mini house for us. Princess Cadence’s orders! His books are arriving in a weeks time. Will you please fetch them?”
Ugh,”Sure.....”
“Ok! Now,” POW! “Lets read!”
“Oh yay...” Ugh, I DON’T WANT TO BE PART OF THIS! This is their problem! If they make me stress about their kid. I am gonna make them move onto the street!
“Twilight, you sure you wanna read. You don’t seem interested,” asked Sunburst.
“Yeah, you are having the kid not me. I better go,” I said.
I flew onto a cloud outside the Castle. I got settled down and POW! I got a book to read too.
”Twilight! Baby wants to talk to you, Watchey needs to chat! Watchey is hungry! Watchey is YOURS!”
“Watchey, did you speak?” I asked.
”Watchey can speak to you Twilight and my name is not Watchey,” said the Pocket Watch.
“Ok, what is your name?” I asked.
“My name is Clockwork. I was a pony once, my name was Seaswirl. But one day I fell down a hole, well it was more like a ravine. I fell into this magical gucky stuff. I was transformed into a pony and clock hybrid. I went to see my brother and ask him to help me get my normally body back! I begged him. But he transformed me into this. Blocking me off until you woke me from my coma. You brought me back to life, with you I can live again!”
”Brother!”
“Seaswirl! You are alive!” shouted Starswirl,”It has been 10 years since I last saw you!”
“Yes Starswirl, but. I am no longer Seawirl! I am clock work! See these chains! This clock eye! Look at my hoof! Look what you DID TO ME! I AM A MONSTER! All these years, seeking revenge, I am no unicorn like you, see no horn! I couldn’t of saved me, and my wings were broken! Remember. But now, I see you left your poor students alone!”
“I am sorry to hear that Clockwork. I will try my hardest to bring you back to life. Well back to pony form, but for now stay quiet. We don’t want any pony to hear you.”
“Ok, master. But I know how to bring me back to life. I have the power to bring me back into pony form! Fly me to the Everfree Forest, only there can were do the transformation!”
”Well, Starswirl, the truth is, I LIKE being a monster! See this blood on my hooves. This was your very SPECIAL SOMEPONY! She’s DEAD!”
“No! Brother why did you do this! You, YOU! YOU are a great evil! You shall be stopped!
I flew over to the Everfree, the quicker I get there, the better! Clockwork deserves life! Life as a pony!”

Corruption Part 1
”Who, who ar you?” Asked a little Alicorn filly, her fur and mane was blue.
“Get away from her you monster!” Said another Alicorn filly, this one was white.
“I am Clockwork! I have a message for your parents! Are they asleep?” The monster said.
The fillies nodded,”They’re in there.”
“Thank you for your hospitality.”
“Where must I go now, Clockwork?” I asked.
“There, she that grove. That is the Clockwork grove. Where I bat- was turned into this by my brother!” said Clockwork,”Hurry up. I can’t wait to take ov- get back into pony form!”
“Ok Clockwork,” then I flew down. I saw a rock with the shape of a pocket watch inprinted onto the stone tablet. I flew downward, faster than before. I slowed down to dodge the branches and then I landed perfectly down on the ground. I padded over to the rock. Inprinted in blood and in old Ponish was:
TiCk ToCK, TiCK ToCK.
Here you must place the Clock!
"Clockwork? Why is it in blood?" I asked.
"That blood, belongs to..."
Clockwork found the sleeping Alicorns.
He had a knife with him. He open his stiches on his stomach he the reveled to the fillies his insides...
And a Knife..
He positioned the knife above their parents' hearts and one by one he killed them.
"Hush now Children. I shall not hurt you,
I don't kill no kids...
Well not in this generation...."
"Yours!" finished Clockwork! The blood, was MINE! HOW?! And why?
" And Twilight, just place the me down already!"
"Umm, ok. MIIINNE!"
I placed Clockwork down. Oh boy! That was a mistake!

TiCK ToCK! TiCK ToCK! Twilight Sparkle, your Time is Up! Now, I’ll rise! You will Fall! We’ll Unite! /i]
" CLOCKWORK STOP!! NOOOO!!" I screamed.

I had transformed. I was no longer Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, no, no.
"I am CLOCKWORK-TWI! We are now one. We share each other's memories and both are existing for ONE PURPOSE! We seek ponies, we need ponies, WE EAT PONIES! WE NEED A TO MURDER somepony, NOW!"
I saw how much my body had as I looked into a pond nearby. I saw what I had become! My one eye was a clock. I was holding a pocket watch in my hand. I had a gigantic stitch on my belly. And from what Clockwork told me, Inside the stiches were mass murder weapons! I was covered in chains. In fact my front hoof was separated from my leg by some chains. I had multiple bloodstains all over. And many scares to. I had more rougher and wild mane. My tail too was more rustic.
"Twilight! You can go back in time! Using the pocket watch! But in turn, you must murder the Elements and the CMC's. We may be one body, but I don't quite trust you yet. I don't know why. But still, we need food. Their meat is going to be the best for sure though!”
