Equestria and the Enclave
Chapter one: The Bunker
3rd POV
John was afraid for the first time in his life, the Enclave lost Adams air force base two years ago and since then he was trapped with eight other enclave soldiers and today was when he was being sent into cryo-stasis, and he was the only one who got into the cryo-pod before the brotherhood and that bastard lone wanderer broke through the door mowing down his team, before they could attack him the security kicked in and closed the bulk heads locking him in darkness.
thousands of years later
after thousands of years, humanity was gone, destroyed by one final push by the Enclave when they destroyed earth, but eventually it was reformed with new species the original owners gone, only noticable by some everyday items until a certain adventurer found an old bunker owned by the humans looking around the first room she saw what was belived to be a symbol showing the letter E with stars surrounding it, "what does it mean?" Daring thought to herself, she saw the symbol before at three other locations, all leading here, but why? Making her way deeper into the bunker she was met with the smell of death, decayed bodies and scraps of some sort of armor scattered the room, moving deeper she found a pod of some sort, looking like human tech, she attempted to open it only to be met with an error screen, looking she noticed a card slot and a card on a dead body looking like he activited the machine before dying. After grabbing the card and insterting it she heard a hissing sound and looking at the pod she saw 'A HUMAN!, A LIVE HUMAN!' Daring thought to herself looking at the creature with wonder as the stasis wore off and it fell forward probably unable to support itself.
3rd
The first feeling John felt when he was awoken was pain, lots and lots of pain, he heard noises which sounded like hooves, not big enought to be a brahmin, didn't smell bad, and looking to the noise he found two pink eyes staring at him. Quickly scrambling backwards hitting his head against the wall he managed to move far enough away that he could support himself on the rails and run down the hallway of the bunker only to run into the bodies of his friends, and... Sarah his love, he knew it was her because of the tag on her armor and the doll she carried he still remembered when he met her and his daughter. But now was not the time to remember, he still had to escape from that creature he attempted to run but his legs still were not fully awake so he only managed to fall over collapsing on his side as his lungs burned and his legs felt like someone stepped on them wearing power armor.
3rd
Looking behind him he saw the equine walking closer to , right until it was right next to him at which point it pulled out an apple and placed it next to him, now living in the wastes he never saw apples, in fact no one had for a long time but right there in front of him was a bright red apple. "I'm not going to hurt you" the Equine said slowly making her way towards him, only to see him tense up putting a hoof against his 'leg' she rubbed it a few times noting the black and grey clothing he wore over his body. John and the pony? stared at each other until both broke the silence "s-so who er... what are you?" John asked his body still weak from cryo, and his voice sounding like sandpaper. The equine hoofed him a canteen which he took three big swigs from before handing to her giving a thanks as he coughed clearing his throat. "My name is Daring Do, I'm an adventurer, who are you?" Daring said giving him a hoof to help him up. Grabbing her hoof he noted how soft it felt compared to a regular Equine, and the fact that she had a grip didn't exactly help in his situation. "M-my names John... John fitzpatrick" John replied wiping the dust off his uniform.
"well Mr. Fitzpatrick, why don't we get out of here" Daring said pointing towards the exit, John figuring he would need something told her to wait, and then went back to the armory looking for his rifle, Daring not wanting to miss the chance followed him, his legs were still in pain so he grabbed one of the stimpaks and stabbed his leg with it, the feeling of calmness and relaxation came over him looking around he found his gun, an old plasma rifle he built when he first joined the Enclave. The words SIGMA tagged into the side, showing his squad. "Hey are you okay?" Darings voice pulled him from his thoughts as he turned around and saw her sitting there like a dog 'heh' "she actually looks kinda cute sitting like that" realizing he said it out loud he quickly looked away remembering his training. 'Breath in breath out' he recited this over and over until he was no longer flushed, turing back towards Daring he noticed her wings were popped out, not paying anymind he moved towards her motioning for her to follow.
20 minutes later
After twenty minutes of walking towards the exit they finally reached the giant vault door with the E instead of numbers, before he opened the door John turned towards Daring "hey real quick, I need a promise from you" He said the worry clear in his voice, Daring just said "sure, what is it?" He replied asking her to promise nothing would happen to him the moment he left the vault, Daring gave him her word that nothing would happen becuase they would be going straight to someone called Celestia, appearantly a Princess. The sound of the door opening was sickening the grinding of metal against metal, the blaring, alarm, and the loud thump it made when the locks engaged. The walk from the vault to the road they used was short, and looking in the distance he could see a castle on a... hill, "jesus looks like I'm not in kansas anymore" John mumbled to himself as he continued following Daring, until he heard a swoosh noise and saw a dart sticking out of his neck, "sooouunn offfvvff ah bitgfch" he slurred as he fell to the ground the last thing he saw was Daring yelling at another Equine wearing golden armor.

For those who are wondering John is wearing an Enclave officer Uniform minus the hat.
and he only carries a Plasma rifle with his personal design and attachments.
