Her teal eyes fluttered open and s out a stretched her wings and sitting up on her bed. A couple of birds perched at her window, tweeted sweetly. Fluttershy smiled at them. "Good morning." Fluttershy said to the birds getting out of her bed going to the window and feeding the birds some seeds she had in a book by the window for any feather friend. Fluttershy loved animal no matter want if one came by she should try to befriend them Derpy woke up to the birds tweet and stretched her wings before getting up. Derpy loved animals all most as much as her sister. "You all must be hungry after all it's long journey from the other kingdoms, or at least that's what mother saids." Derpy said. The birds chirped in agreement. There was a loud knock at the door. "Oh dear you all better fly away." Fluttershy said. "Come in!" Derpy called to whoever was on the other side. The door open to reveal a servant in a dark colored uniform. "Princesses," she said. "The Queen wishes to see both of you for breakfast." "We'll be right there." Fluttershy said. Fluttershy and Derpy both sighed if she had see the birds they would be in big trouble with there mother. Not wanting to be late Fluttershy slipped into a simple emerald dress, brushed her light pink mane and sat her green tiara on her head as quick as she could. Derpy slipped into a simple dak blue dress, brushed her yellow mane and sat her golden tiara on her head as quick as she could. The castle hallways were lit by trochees and full of creepy shadows that Fluttershy and Detpy got used to. They enter the dining room were the servants went about their business. "Good morning!" Derpy said brightly. Fluttershys and Derpys mother, Queen Cora was sitting at the end of the table, wearing a black spiking crown sat on her red mane. She didn't return the friendly greeting instead kept her serious and cold look. Derpy lowed her head and she sat on one side of her mother, well Flutershy sat on the other side. Ever since they were born, Queen Cora had frowned upon her daughters's kind and gentle nature. 'No doubt inherited from that father of yours.' she had said. Before she was banished, the queen had married a handsome stallion named Butterscotch. Each day, King Butterscotch wished that his wife would abandon her dark ways and return to being the mare he knew and loved. He loved Fluttershy and Derpy just as dearly and taught both of them the value of showing kindness and consideration for others. Shielding them from any sadness or loneliness that dared to take root in their young heart. Sadly, he'd passed away in a battle far away. Since then, Fluttershy and Derpy would find theirselves crying softly some nights, wanting their father to return to them. To tell them that everything would right itself out. No pony, other than their mother, dared speak to her (for fear that they were just as bad as the queen), leaving them with no pony but each other (and an occasional critter) to comfort them. The queen felt no sadness or anger for her husband's passing, declaring that she and her daughters were better off without that fool. With him gone, Queen Cora began to push Fluttershy and Derpy into her studies. So that they could one day fulfill their destiny. "Have you two been working hard on your studies ?" Queen Cora asked. Fluttershy and Derpy gulped. "Y...yes, mother." Fluttershy and Derpy lied. Queen Cora had been trying to train her daughters in the ways of being an evil queen and the art of black magic. 'You'll need to control your abilities if you're to one day rule over all ponykind.' she'd said. But in truth, Fluttershy nor Derpy had any interest in evil or anything like that. But at the same time, they didn't want to disappoint there mother. "Recite the qualities of an evil queen." Cora said. Fluttershy and Derpy straightened up in their seats and recited the words their mother had taught them ever since they were born. "An evil queen is: dishonest, disloyal, greedy, Sorrow, and cruel." Fluttershy and Derpy said in unison. Queen Cora nodded approvingly. "Remember them, never forget those words." she said. Fluttershy and Derpy nodded. These traits, according to there mother, would make them just as strong and powerful as her. But silently and secretly, Fluttershy and Derpy would think to theirselves, 'I don't want to be like you mother.' The last thing on the poor princesses's mind was hurting other ponies, but there was little they could say or do to make there mother say otherwise. After breakfast, we'll begin your next level of magic training in the library." Cora said. Fluttershy and Derpy felt their stomach churn at the thought of black magic. It had always scared them since they were fillies, but they couldn't tell there mother. Instead, they did everything they could to please there mother. Even if it was scary and made them feel even more miserable. In the musty library.... "For this lesson, you shall use your magic to read minds." the Queen said. Cora closed her eyes and concentrated, her red mane flowing as the black magic began to flow through her, lifting her off the ground. Her sea-green eyes opened, flashing with a harsh fire behind her pupils. Her irises glowed as she cast a spell on Derpy , causing her (Derpy) to fall. Derpy got up. "Now both of you." Queen Cora said. Fluttershy and Derpy stood glued to the spot, afraid to try and call upon such fearsome power as there mother had. Taking steady breaths, Fluttershy and Derpy concentrated as best as they could, only able to lift four inchs off the ground. They landed back down, there mother looking at them with disappointment. "Pathetic." the Queen said. Fluttershy and Derpy looked down at the floor. 'Why can't I do anything right?' Fluttershy and Derpy asked theirselves. No matter what they did, they'd never be able to do anything right, and would never meet up to there mother's expectations. "I'm sorry mother." Fluttershy and Derpy said in unison. Before the Queen could lecture them, there was a loud squawk. The unicorn , and the two pegasi looked up toward the ceiling, where they saw a fiery bird, a phoenix, circling the air. It swooped low and dropped a white letter before flying out the high library window. Fluttershy and Derpy watched the bird with amazement while there mother examined the letter. "A letter from Canterlot castle." Cora said with narrowed eyes. Fluttershy and Derpy looked at the letter with great curiosity. They never got any letters, and to get one from Canterlot was certainly curious. "What does it say?" Fluttershy and Derpy asked in unison. The Queen's eyes scanned over the letter as she read it aloud. Dear Queen Cora, It's been a long time since last we spoke. I hope you are fairing well. I've written to you to offer a chance to give your daughters a chance to learn how to be a great and noble ruler at a special school for princesses/ duchesses. My Sister and I have created the school in the hopes of better teaching the royal families of Equestria. I hope you will allow your daughters the chance of not only learning to better help ponykind, but also to make friends. I await your reply tonight, and shall send a carriage to pick up your daughters if you do decide to let them go. Sincerely- Princess Celestia.. "A school...for princesses/ duchesses? Fluttershy and Derpy asked in unison. The idea of them going to school with other ponies was both thrilling and terrifying. They'd rarely met anypony outside the castle, and only spoke to each other, the servants (though they hardly replied, and there mother. Not only that, but this was a message from Princess Celestia. There mother's old nemesis. The pony who banished her to her own kingdom for all these years and was now asking for her daughters to attend her school. They looked at there mother expectantly to see what her answer would be. A small smile crept onto the Queens face. "This, my dear daughters, is exactly what we've been waiting for." she said. Fluttershy and Derpy tilted her heads in confusion. "It is?" Derpy asked . Her mother's eyes gleamed as a plan started to form in her mind. No doubt that whatever it was, it wasn't very pleasant. "You will both go to this school and once there, you'll find a way to free me from this cursed barrier. Then, together as mother and daughters, we shall rule over the pitiful ponies." Fluttershy and Derpy said nothing, not wanting to get there mother angry at them. It was an interesting thought, but it seemed...risky. Not to mention impossible! How in Equestria could they lift a barrier casted by two alicorns? They could barely handle the simplest of her mother's basic black magic spells. "Come with me my darlings." Queen Cora said leading her daughter to the throne room. She shooed any straggling servants who were dusting so that she could speak to Fluttershy and Derpy privately. "I've waited patiently all these long years for a chance like this. You have been slowly progressing in your studies, something that until now I've let slide. Now however, my dear Fluttershy and Derpy you need to stand firmly and start acting like the evil Queens you are meant to be." Fluttershy and Derpy slouched, avoiding looking at there mother's face. The queen faced them. "Promise me, that no matter what, you will do everything in your power to not only free me, but to seize you're rightful place as the rulers of all Equestria." there mother said in a serious tone. Fluttershy and Derpy looked up at there mother's face then back at her own hooves. "I-I promise mother." Fluttershy and Derp said in unison quietly. Queen Cora smiled. "Good. Now, we must prepare for your departure. There is much to do." Fluttershy and Derpy knew they had to keep her promise, but at the same time, she hoped that somehow at this school she would find an answer to a question that plagued her mind. Should they follow there mother's teachings and be the new Queens of Evil, or be their gentle selves. Author's Note Got inspired after reading Queen of Evil Princess of Kindness Note: I'm not trying to steal any ones ideas Chapter twoChapter two: Decisions Queen Cora had sent a reply to Princess Celestias and Lunas letter, saying she would be grateful to have her daughters attend such a regal school. She also told Princess Celestia that Fluttershy and Derpy are inspectable. Fluttershy and Derpy were to spend two years at the castle that would serve as the school and lodgings for the royal ponies. Fluttershy and Derpy packed all their clothes into large suitcases and waited for the carriage the next morning. Queen Cora had told them that she'd be keeping close watch over them, and would give them anymore news she had on her master plan. So far, all Fluttershy and Derpy had to do (to there relief), was blend in at school and find a way to break, or weaken the barrier around their kingdom. Fluttershy and Derpy were called outside as the carriage arrived outside the castle. Standing in a red coat and feathered hat, the coach pony bowed to Fluttershy and Derpy. "Your highnesses." he said. Fluttershy and Derpy were about to smile at him when they turned to look at the towering castle behind them. An image of their mother's cold eyes looking down at her appeared in their minds. Instead, they quickly and quietly entered the carriage while the coach pony attended to her suitcase. "Fluttershy and I can do this." Derpy said to herself. "Fluttershy and I can do this." she repeated it Intel it got annoying. From the high tower window, Queen Cora watched as the carriage pulled away from the castle, and drove out of sight. Her daughters would follow her orders and become the ponies they were born to be....whether they wanted to or not. Coras eyes looked sweet, and so did her smile for a moment. Meanwhile, in Canterlot castle, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were preparing to head to the school they'd created and greet the students. A large carriage pulled by two white pegasus stallions and two gray pegasus mares in gleaming armor awaited outside to take them to their old home. "Did I make the right choice to let villains/ kids of villains stay at the school?" Celestia asked. "Yes you did." Luna said. "Two are the daughters of one of our sworn enemies, one is a siren, one feed on magic, one feeds on love and the is the spirit of chaos and disharmony, who had a similar scheme as Melodia!" Luna voice raised a little. "It's a great risk bringing them to a place full of so many innocent ponies." Luna looked at Celestia. Her blue eyes looking into her sister's purple eyes. "I'm well aware of the risks, but I feel that this would be helpful for Fluttershy and Discord. If they learned the value of friendship and goodness of ponies, perhaps they would..." "You honestly think they would consider abandoning the path of evil, and help Equestria for the greater good?" Celestia asked. "I can understand that you're a little hesitant Celestia." Luna said. "More than a little." Celestia said. "But I have confidence that, in the very least, Fluttershy will open her heart out to ponies. And perhaps she'd be able to escape the fate that befell her mother." Celestia knew that there was nothing that would change Luna's mind. She heaved a sigh. "The least we could do is warn the teachers of what they might be in for." Celestia said. "We can't, remember the rules state that we can't give out certain information and this us one of them." Luna said Celesia and Luna stopped and thought were they making the right decision are was the other they walked to the carriage. Luna and Celestia both hoped that Fluttershy and Derpy will be nice. Celestia summoned a book to read. Flashback.... Princess Celestia and Luna sat on their thrones, a guard trotted in, a pegasus filly and a unicorn filly at his sides. He bowed his head to the queen. "You're highnesses, the Princess Cora and her sister Princess Misty have arrived." he said. Luna smiled at the fillies as Misty shyly smiled at her. "Ah yes, Weve been expecting you my dears." Celestia said. The guard did one more bow and left the four alone. "Your father has told me much of your magical abilities." Luna said. Misty smile dropped and she looked down at the floor. "You two think we're strange too, don't you?" Misty asked. Misty side bangs covered one eye "Not at all, in fact, we'd like to teach you." Luna said. "Huh? What?" Misty and Cora asked in unison. A confused expression on their faces. "We want to teach you to better hone your magical skills. So you can better use them for the benefit of your kingdoms." Luna clarified. "Do you really think we can do something that important?" Misty asked. Luna lifted the filly's chin and gave her a warm smile. "We do." Celestia and Luna said in unison. Flashback over.... "Cora." Luna said under her breath as she stepped into the carriage. "Why did it have to be like this?" As the carriage took to the skies, Luna found herself reading Mistys and notes from when they were her and Celestia students. Though she couldn't make out some of the picture on the notes that well its image was imprinted in her mind. Along with the sweet unicorn that was gone. 'I won't let it happen.' she said to herself. 'I won't let Fluttershy and Derpy suffer as there mother did.' Luna looked up a the sky and closed her eyes. 'Misty please send Celestia and I a letter'. Luna opened her eyes a couple of tears droped and fell down her cheeks. Celestia and Luna both wished that Misty was here right now. A couple of tear came down her cheeks. Back at Coras castle... "Misty why did you have to use the spell on me?" Cora asked. "Because your my twin sister." Misty said in Cora. "I don't like having to share a body." Cora said. "Well Intel someone can beat us that not going to happen." Misty said Cora took a deep breath and said. "Ok I understand." Chapter threeChapter three: School for Princess/ Duchess The carriage ride felt like forever, but Fluttershy and Derpy didn't mind. They talked, looked out the window, and read. The nature made it easy to clear their minds since they were a little stressed. There manes flew in the wind .They saw lots of different animals. They talked about want the other Princess/ Duchess might be like. "Maybe they will be kind, and love nature like us." Fluttershy said. "Don't forget food and books." Derpy said. As they drew near the Everfree Forest, the school came into view. The old castle of Celestia and Luna had been remodeled to suit the needs for the princesses/ duchess and the class they'd be in. A large blue and gray stone castle with spire towers not unlike the ones of the castle back home. A clearing off near the back full of ponies in armor. Fluttershy and Derpy felt their heartbeats as fast as a hummingbird's wings as they approached. Fluttershy and Derpy told each other to be brave and remember want mother said. The carriage lined up along with long stream of other carriages. Out from each stepped out a lovely pony, unicorn, pegasus, or earth, dressed in fine dresses worthy of their royal blood. Fluttershy got out before Derpy, out the door and wait for her sister as the coach pony took her and her sister suitcases down. "Thanks." Derpy said. "No problem. It's my pleasure." the coach pony said. "Can somepony please help? asked a white unicorn, with a curly light pink and purple mane, and light green eyes. "I can carry up to four bags if that's ok." Derpy said. "I can also help." a pink earth poy with a two toned purple mane said. "Thanks. I tried to back lightly." the white unicorn said. "It no problem I love helping others." Derpy said. "I got from here." a bright yellow unicorn servant with a blue mane said Princess Sweetie Belle was beyond thrilled to stand at the old castle that once housed one of the greatest rulers of Equestria. The white unicorn had read about this place and saw ancient pictures of it in her books. To actually see it and be continuing her studies here by her idol was nothing short of a dream come true. "You're sure you're gonna be okay Sweetie?" Sweetie Belke smiled at her mom, (Cookie Crumbles who someponies call Betty Bouffan) She gave a hug and said, "I'll be fine. I can take care of myself pretty well I'm not a little filly anymore." her mom laughed. "You can't blame a parent for worrying about their foal." Cookie Crumbles said. The pink unicorn mare kissed her youngest daughter on the cheek. "I'll miss you and I'm sure Rarity will miss you as well." Sweetie Belle said. "I'll miss you too Sweetie and make sure you tell Rarity by for me." After their fond farewell, Sweetie Belle entered the grand foyer, taking in everything she could. From the nice chandelier to the old tapestries depicting the sun, the moon and moments in Equestrian history. Her mind began spinning at the thought of all the magic and things she'd be learning. She was pulled out of her thoughts by the somewhat loud music. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna walked in front of everypony and asked what are the qualities that make a true queen/ empress. "A true queen is: honest, loyal, generous, happy, kind, and selfless." Twilight and Sweetie Belle said in unison they had gone over the qualities two dozen times or so since they got their letter, wanting to have it memorized for when attending classes. "Very good." Luna said. "We wish you all the best of luck. Classes begin tomorrow at exactly eight o'clock no later. You shall receive your class schedules after diner. If there are any questions, feel free to ask one of us, or any other teacher. That is all." With their speech concluded, Celestia and Luna left for their 'office'. The other princesses/ duchess hurried toward the dorm rooms, to meet their roommates and get their things set up. Twilight and Sweetie Belle wanted to follow after Princess Celestia to discuss all the things on their minds, but was stopped by a solider. A gray Pegasus mare in purple armor. "Halt, nopony is to see the Princesses until after dinner!" she said. Twilight and Sweetie Belle looked over her shoulder. "What about those two?" Twilight asked, pointing a hoof at a yellow pegasus with a pink mane following and a gray Pegasus with a yellow mane close behind the royal sisters. The solider glance at the Pegasi. "They are special case. Twilight I'm sorry but I can't even let you go right now." the solider said. "Seriously why?" Twilight asked. "Because those are the rules. You two should go to your dooms." the guard said. Sweetie Belle and Twilight agreed to keep an eye on the two Pegasi. Sweetie Belle gave Twilight one of her music seats. "Here this is a song I wrote." Sweetie Belle said. Twilights eyes winded. "Wait your the Sweetie Belle as in the one who helps others and whites songs." she asked. "Yep, and I have an over dramatic sister." Sweetie Belle said. "How many songs have you written?" Twilight asked. "Over twenty." Sweetie Belle said. "What was you favorite one to write?" Twilight asked. "Forgiveness." Sweetie Belle said. "Was that the one about forgiving and reformation?" Twilight asked. "Yep it sure is." Sweetie Belle said. "You're the one who won the science fair. I got second place." Twilight said. Twilight and Sweetie Belle went to their doom rooms they were a cross from each other. They were orgazing their rooms. "Their all eight hundred books sorted by author and alphabetical." Sweetie Belle said proudly. There was a sudden thud Sweetie Belle turned around to see want caused it. "Sorry about that." Derpy said. "Oh it's fine now of the important ones got damaged." Sweetie Belle said. "My name is Derpy." Derpy said. "Mines Sweetie Belle, but you can call me Sweetie or Belle if you want ." Sweetie Belle said. "Nice to meet you Sweetie Belle." Derpy said. "Wait your one of the ones who got to talk to the princesses after we were told to go to are doomrooms." Sweetie Belle said. "Yep." Derpy said. "How come you can go talk to them when ever you want?" Sweetie Belle asked. "My mother used to be a friend of the princesses, I think they just wanted to make sure that my sister and I were ok" Derpy said. There was a knock at the door, there was a unicorn stallion in a red servant's uniform stood in the doorway. "Dinner will be served in 5 minutes your highnesses." he said, bowing as he left. "We better leave for dinner now." Sweetie Belle said. After a couple of minutes they entered the dining room and they found two seats and sat down. "I'm so hungry." Derpy said. "Wait no more, it looks like they're rolling it out now." Sure enough, a volley of servant ponies pushed food carts through the kitchen doors. Setting platters of fresh bread, fruit and salads before the princesses/ duchess. "Thank you." said Derpy and Sweetie Belle graciously. Derpy nibbled on a piece of a roll, while Sweetie Belle dug right in. Princess Derpy Royal Etiquette......... Princess Luna Royal Attire........... Princess Candace Equestrian History........ Tirek Potions........ Lady Zecora Lunch Physical Education.......... Sir Shinging Armor Tea Etiquette............. Discord Animals...... Chrysalis Sweetie Belle looked over at the paper. "Looks like we have Potions and Tea together." Sweetie Belle said. "What do you think Zecora and Discord will be like?" Derpy asked. "I don't know but I feel like I've heard Discords name before just don't know where." Sweetie Belle said. On the other side of the table Fluttershy and Twilight were talking about what classes they had. Chapter fourSomething has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.

Chapter twoChapter two: Decisions Queen Cora had sent a reply to Princess Celestias and Lunas letter, saying she would be grateful to have her daughters attend such a regal school. "Ok I understand."
Chapter threeChapter three: School for Princess/ Duchess The carriage ride felt like forever, but Fluttershy and Derpy didn't mind.
