New Tricks Up My Sleeve

During average day in Canterlot High, a student name Becky Wood wanted to do magic tricks when he was a little kid. Through his whole life, he tries to do magic tricks but there way to difficult to handle. Sometimes his tricks became chaotic when they don’t turn out what he wanted them to be. Years later when he became a high school student, he’s still having a hard time working out his tricks but that all changed until he went to the office and talked to Celestia in his first day in school.

***Celestia’s Office***

Becky knocked the office door while Celestia hear it.

“Come in.” She called. Becky Wood, who’s wearing a magic shirt came in and sit down with Principal Celestia.

“I know I’m new here but I’m into magic tricks. Do you have classes that have magic tricks?” He asked.

“No unfortunately, our classes don’t have any magic tricks because they could be dangerous.”

This made Becky disappointed. “That’s sad, here’s the thing I’m really into magic tricks since my childhood. And since I’m in High School, I was hoping there’s a way in Canterlot High at least do something that I dreamed to do.”

Celestia gets off her chair and takes out her book of every Canterlot High student of this year. “Becky, I understand what your coming from but the thing, magic tricks are too difficult. It takes years to experience it to make it safe for people. I think in college will have magic trick classes but even with that, it’s going to take time for you to do the most difficult ones.” She place her book on her deck and looked over the students to find someone to teach Becky.

“I know how that feels, time after time I try my best but I just can’t get the hang of it.” He lowered his head.

“But I think I could find someone who can help you.” This made Becky lifted his head up in excitement.

“Really? Who?” When Celestia finally made it to the page she was looking for she shows Becky the person who can help him.

“Trixie, she’s always neutral but she has a band. She spend most of her time doing magic tricks when she’s not in school.” When Becky looks at Trixie’s face on the page, he blushed a little because she’s really cute in his view.

“Wow, she’s actually attractive.” He commented.

“I’m sorry but I have a lot of work to do, she’s in the art class so talk to her when you get the chance.”

Becky gets off the chair and leaves the office. He went his art class which is his first class of the day. When he enters the classroom, he stopped when he saw Trixie in person, she’s painting a picture of her showing off her magic tricks in front of an entire audience. Her dream of being a magician is becoming famous in her own way.

“Man she’s too perfect, I wonder what she can do as a magician.” He said to himself. He walked up to her but tries to keep it cool with her since he doesn’t know her other then being a magician.

“Um excuse me?” He asked. Trixie stopped what she’s doing and looks at him and a serious look.

“What do you want from the great and powerful Trixie?” She responded.

“I’m Becky Wood, I’m into magic tricks and I was thinking…..” He stopped because of the look Trixie is giving him. He didn’t knew she was an outcast and she can be a bit cocky when she talks about her ego.

“Yes?” She said with her eyes wide open to pay more attention on Becky.

“After school, can I come over to your house and teach me on to do magic tricks?” He asked. This made Trixie shocked and dropped her paint brush on the floor. She was so speechless to Becky’s offer because no one ever wanted help from her before.

“Seriously?” She reacted.

“Yes I’ve been doing this for years and I’m still not getting the hang of it.” He explained. “So maybe tonight can you help me?” This made Trixie really happy to the point she hugs him tightly, much to Becky’s surprise.

“Ohh you have no idea how great this is for me! I’m mostly alone when I do magic tricks by myself.”

“Okay but can you let go of me?! Your crushing me!”

“Oh sorry.” She let go of Becky as he’s breathing in and out while also blushing. “Do you like my painting I made for myself?” She pointed at her art.

“It looks really promising, I can see that your future will happen because your talents is promising.”

“Really, I mean I didn’t show you my talents and you think my future will happen?”

“Of course.” This made Trixie tear up in happiness. She kissed him on the cheek which surprises Becky a lot. His face turned into red while his pants got tighter.

“Tri… Trix…. Trixie!” He stuttered while Trixie made cute giggles at him.

“Just don’t forget to come over to my house tonight.” Trixie padded his shoulder.

“Okay…. I won’t forget.” He paused while he’s still blushing. He left the classroom as he feels his cheek where Trixie kissed. That unexpected moment still tigers his mind to the point he wants to know her.

“She kissed me! I have to repay her.”

***Walk To Trixie’s House***

Before Becky made his way to Trixie’s place, he went to the mall to go shopping. What he brought is a box a fireworks and gum for Trixie. Due to the kiss he got from her, he wants to make a good impression. He still wants to learn more about magic tricks but he also wants to be good friends with Trixie. He eventually made it to Trixie’s, her home was in the middle of the woods that’s farther away from Canterlot High and Becky’s home.

“Man, this girl really wants to be neutral.” He said to himself. He walk up the front door as he ring the doorbell. Tixie opened the door and gave him a cute look.

“Hello Becky Wood.”

“So when are you going to do your magic tricks to teach me?”

“Later tonight because I made mac and cheese for the both of us.”

“Really because I never tried mac and cheese before.” This made Trixie pull him into her house.

“Don’t worry, you will love my homemade cooking.” She replied. As they enter Trixie’s kitchen, mac and cheese on plates are all set. Becky sits down while Trixie sits by him as they eat their mac and cheese. “How is it?”

“It taste great.” Becky eating the mac and cheese. “So I want to know Trixie, when do you began as a magician?”

“Since I was in fifth grade, I watch tons of cartoons and when I got older I started to do research on doing magic tricks. My life as a magician is hard but I always believe in myself.”

Becky also remembered that Trixie is an outcast and always spends her time alone. “Principal Celestia took me that your neutral but you have a band. Do you feel lonely most of the time?”

Trixie put her arm around his shoulder while giving him a confident look on her face. “Not really, sometimes I’m friends with Twilight Sparkle but she’s always with her lame friends.”

“What’s wrong with her friends.”

“I have a history with the Rainbooms, but Twilight Sparkle is okay in my view. Anyway I use to have a band called Trixie Of The Illusions where I compete the CHS Musical Showcase with my bandmates. I didn’t win but I know that I’m better then the Rainbooms.”

“Do you get a little more too confident?” Becky asked.

“Mostly, because I’m always good at everything.” Trixie smirked. “Anyway I want to know, what do you think about me?” She lean in by Becky which made him blushed.

“Well…. I thought you were happy you have someone for assistance but you also kissed me, which surprises me.” Trixie then placed her hand on his cheek.

“You don’t understand when it comes to being lonely. Sometimes when I’m more sweet and clam, I think of someone who knows me to respect me of who I am.”

“Wait, so I’m the first person you ever got the chance to have someone to….. You know…”

This made Trixie giggled as she kissed him on the cheek again which causes him the blush again. “Do you love it when you get a kiss from me?”

Becky was so speechless he didn’t know what to expect what's next from her. “It’s okay, we should probably finish eating our food.” Trixie replied. Becky and Trixie took their to eat all the mac and cheese they have left. After they’re done, they wash their dishes as Becky is ready for some magic tricks.

“So, are you ready to teach me?” He asked patently.

“Of course, I have everything set up outside in my backyard.” She lead him to her backyard, where she set up a quad with magic equipment on it. There’s also a chair for Becky to sit down while he watches Trixie. “Are you excited?”

“Kind of, I mean what tricks are you going to show me?”

“Welllllll……. I was going to use this saw for cutting a dummy,” She lifted the saw in her hands. “But I come up with a new idea but I need your help. But we’re gonna do that for later, right now I’m going to teach you the basics.”

“Okay I brought my video camera with me so I can figure out what I’m doing if that’s okay with you.” This made Trixie make a sexually smirk as she loves that he brought his video camera.

“Good idea but you should probably separate two videos. One is all about the basics and the other is my new idea. I’m going to get the tripod for your camera.” As she went back into her house to get a tripod, Becky waited again but he’s also happy that he’s getting lessons from Trixie. He still felt off about the two kisses he got from her but it didn’t became and issue for him. For sometime, Trixie is back with the tripod in her hands. She placed it by the chair where Becky is sitting and Becky put his camera on the tripod as he turns the record button on. Trixie gets on the quad and prepares her magic tricks.
