It's a few minutes to midnight. It is almost the day after Thanksgiving also known as Black Friday in Canterlot City. That means every single one of the stores in the city has their products prices cut down by 75% which is quite the big deal. The mall usually has the most sales so nearly everyone in Canterlot City was waiting outside to get in and purchase holiday decorations, gifts, new stuff like clothes and toys, and more. Everyone was in line getting ready for the big event including the Mane 7.

"Wow! I'm so excited because it's almost Black Friday! I can by all the candy there is. Coco Crunchies, Licky Licorice, Tongue Twislers! " Exclaimed Pinkie Pie as she was drooling thinking about all the candy she will be able to buy and eat.

"I know right. I can get some new sports equipment, some Daring Do books, some more Wonderbolts merchandise, and some new video games." Rainbow agreed with Pinkie. She had as much enthusiasm as her.

"There will be this limited edition sale on this special imported fabric and gems at Tots Cutes and today is the only day I can be able to purchase them all. With those exquisite fabrics and the dazzling gems, the sales at the boutique will certainly increase by a lot." Rarity squealed with delight clapping her hands together with glee.

"Not to mention all those new books at the book store." Twilight added in.

"I can even get the new game, TYREK's REVENGE: Rise of Chrysalis!" Sunset cheered pumping her fist in the air.

"Yeah!" Spike chimed in.

"Ah don't know about this y'all. Ah'm not really the type who would buy stuff ah don't exactly need just for the sake of gettin' a good bargain on it." Applejack disagreed with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah, and there will be so much violence in it too. Remember in 2014, there was this huge riot. People were getting seriously injured when everyone was pushing each other out of the way."

"Oh come you two it would be fun. I mean Fluttershy darling, you did tell us that you wanted to buy that new manga that was coming out right?" Rarity was hoping the two would change their minds about their decisions.

"Um yes. Why?" Fluttershy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well you know that anime store you were going on about, Anime Express, right?" Sunset asked.

"Yeah?" Fluttershy responded making it sound more like a question then a statement.

"It's in this mall and you can buy all sorts of games, anime, and manga for a price that's been cut off by 75%! Wouldn't that be an great deal or what?!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"I guess now that you mentioned it, I guess I can give the Black Friday sale a try." Fluttershy gave in deciding to tag along with the others. Everyone except Applejack cheered.

"Ah'm still not doin' it." Applejack declined the offer. Rainbow tries to think of a plan to trick Applejack into coming along with them.

"Come on AJ. Don't tell us your a huge chicken. Bawk! Bawk!" Rainbow teased folding her arms to make them look like a pair of wings flapping them up and down much to Applejack's annoyance. Applejack tried to ignore it but finally gave in and decided to tag along just to get Rainbow Dash to stop teasing her.

"Fine ah'll do it. I need some new cook books anyways." Applejack groaned. Everyone cheered.

Meanwhile, the CMC along with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were at another part of the crowd also getting prepared for the big Black Friday sale. Ever since Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon reformed, they and the Crusaders became friends and got along really well since the two stopped bullying them. The two even got to be a part of the Crusaders group. They hatched a game plan and everything.

"This plan is foolproof Crusaders. Ah know we'll be able to get some amazing things if we just stick to this plan." Applebloom stated holding out a paper that had their plan written on it. The other four girls were huddling up together to get a better look of the plans.

"Yeah, we get to buy useless junk for a low price. I can get that super cool electric scooter." Scootaloo was looking up with a huge grin on her face.

"Maybe I can buy some cute clothes." Sweetie Belle squealed with a squeaky voice.

"Like why bother when you can just pre-order it online like we did?" Silver Spoon asked with a confused expression.

"I mean my daddy can get anything before it comes in the stores." Diamond Tiara explained.

"Because if you order it online, it doesn't seem to fit the Black Friday spirit." Sweetie Belle said.

"Well I guess I can see what they have." Silver Spoon replied.

"Yeah and maybe I can record the riot and post it on my My Stable account, my Facebook account, my Instagram account, Twitter, Snapchat, maybe even Equestria Daily." Diamond Tiara said taking out her phone to get ready to record all the action that will happen in the future.

"Don't forget YouTube." Silver Spoon added.

"Oh yeah definitely." Diamond Tiara replied.

"What about that new YouTube account we started together? Let's posted on there." Scootaloo suggested.

"Yeah, and that way, we will be able to get a bunch of subscribers in just one video." Applebloom agreed.

"Let's do it!" They all shouted hi-fiving each other.

Meanwhile, Lyra, Bon Bon, Vinyl, and Octavia were waiting in the crowd as well. Lyra and Vinyl were stoked. Bon Bon and Octavia, not so much. They were tired and wobbled around nearly falling asleep right on the ground.

"Are you sure we should of attended to the shopping center sooner? Also, why didn't you give me any notice about the cold weather?" Octavia asked using both her arms to wrap herself and shivered.

"Don't get your bow tie in a twist Tavi. We'll be fine." Vinyl persuaded Octavia trying to calm her down.

"I gotta a bad feeling about this." Bon Bon groaned.

"Come on Bonny. When was I and Vinyl wrong? Lyra asked confidently.

"Do we really have to answer that?" Octavia and Bon Bon asked causing Lyra and Vinyl to grim sheepishly.

"I mean sure things got a little cray cray a few years back but that was then. Besides, I need a new launchpad. My old one's busted." Vinyl said.

"Yeah and I can get some new lyre strings for my lyre." Lyra added.

"I suppose that I can get that new cello I always wanted." Octavia said.

"Maybe some new baking supplies would be nice." Bon Bon agreed with the three.

"Yeah that's the spirit." Lyra cheered.

Meanwhile, the Dazzlings decided to attend the Black Friday sale as well. To avoid people knowing the three were here, they disguised themselves in cloaks so nobody would know who they are. Adagio and Aria were standing were getting grumpy due to standing their for hours. Sonata on the other hand, she didn't seen even a little bit grump unlike the two. She was being her bubbly self just humming to herself .

"I want to buy all of the tacos in the Mexican restaurant." Sonata demanded as she was drooling her stomach growled out of being hungry.

"What is with you and tacos?" Aria groaned.

"Don't you ever get sick of that stuff?" Adagio asked.

"Nope." Sonata simply replied.

"Maybe we can get footage of the riot and uploaded on all my social media accounts." Adagio suggested.

"Totally." the other two replied.

Meanwhile, even the Shadowbolts are attending Black Friday too.

"Ugh. This line is taking forever!" Sour Sweet complained.

"I want in!" Sunny Flare complained.

"Why can't we get into this flipping mall already?" Indigo Zap asked

"Chill dudes. The mall will open in a few minutes." Lemon Zest said. In just a few seconds, Lemon couldn't take it any much longer waiting so she decided to join the three in complaining. "Who am I kidding, this is taking forever. Are we there yet?"

"You guys are acting juvenile. You guys wanted to go." Sugarcoat said having a blank expression on her face.

Suddenly, Iron Will and the Flim Flam Brothers comes up in front of the crowd. He then turns on his headset and yells out to the crowd,

"Is everyone excited for Black Friday?!" Flam asked.

"Well this year, the sale will be a competition! " Flim said. Everyone was confused and looked at each other and talking to their friends. "That's right everyone a competition." Flim repeated.

"That's right everyone! Welcome to Shopdown Live!" Iron Will announced. Everyone cheered even though they had no idea what was going on.

"I'll explain the rules. You all will sign up at the registration list. You can be either by yourself or with a group of people. When I say go, everyone use all means necessary to get what you want to purchase." Iron Will explained.

"Who ever spends the most money will get to keep all the items they buy plus chose one item to get for free." Flam added.

"Keep track using this score card and turn it in before time runs out." Flim added. Everyone was then pushing and shoving to sign up to compete.

"Ah gotta feelin' that this competition may be rigged." Applejack was getting suspicious glaring at the three men.

When all the teams signed up they were getting on the starting line which was right outside in front of the door to the entrance.

"Let's introduce some of the teams. Right here we have Team Rainbooms. How are you guys feeling?" Flim asked.

"Is this some kind of scam?" Applejack asked. She along with the other seven were glaring at them.

"Nope this is just a live special I got permission to do." Flam replied. Their moods then quickly changed from being suspicious to being relieved.

"Wait were live? How's my hair look?" Rarity asked getting her hair ready. "I didn't even put on a worthy outfit to wear for public television."

"Hi mom! Hi dad! Hi Maud! Hi Limestone! Hi Marble!" Pinkie screamed waving at the camera.

"Do you all have what it takes to win?!" Iron Will asked yelling.

"Yeah!" They screamed.

"Moving right along we have Team Crusaters." Flim announced.

The five girls were cheering. They did a five way hi-five cheering,

"CMC Forever!"

"Then we have Team Shadowbolts." Iron Will Announced.

"Whoo! Yeah!" Lemon Zest cheered doing a rock pose.

"Yeah! You all are going to eat our dust!" Indigo Zap gloated.

"We are going to whoop every single one of your guys"-Sour Sweet and Sunny Flare was cut off short by Sugarcoat putting each hand over both of the girls' mouths.

"Don't finish that sentence." Sugarcoat told the two blandly.

"Then we have Team Dazzlings." Iron Will announced.

"Whatever." Aria snipped. Adagio had an amused look on her face while Sonata was smiling and waving.

"I can't believe you signed us up for this Sonata." Adagio complained.

Sonata grinned and giggled sheepishly. "What? It would be fun."

Last but not least, we have Team Awesome." Flim and Flam announced in unison.

"Team Awesome?" Octavia asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What? I couldn't think of a better name to call our team." Vinyl shrugged.

"Come to my candy shop! It's really good." Bon Bon said.

"You just have to advertise your shop." Lyra rolled her eyes and giggled.

"Anyways, let's get this battle started!" Iron Will shouted as everyone cheered.

"On your marks." Flim said. Everyone was getting prepared.

"Get set." Flam continued.

"Let the Shopdown Begin!" Iron Will shouted. Soon everyone was running into the building pushing and shoving each other out of the way.

This is my fifth fanfic not to mention my first Equestria Girls/Human story. Anyways, since Black Friday is almost here, I decided I should write a fanfic involving Black Friday for the occasion.

Also about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon being friends with the CMC, the two reformed in Season 5 so they stopped being mean to them. I know that it was in the pony world and not the human world but made it so that they also get along with each other in the human world.
