I flew through the air, not truly comprehending how FUCKED I was. Air whipped past my face as I flew through the air, crying my lungs out and blubbering like a baby. We flew a good 400 feet above the ground, and I was tied like one would tie a pig when one would go see in the movies, to a stick. They were carrying my bound form hundreds of feet above the green ground down below, trees blasting past my face. How they were able to reach this height would always and forever baffle me. There was no way to comprehend this entire situation other than I AM GOING TO FUCKING DIE HOLY FUCK PLEASE HELP ME. The god of this strange land showed a strange mercy as a tree branch slammed into the faces of my male captors.

This caused my female captor to giggle, and the front of my bonds to drag down the stick they had been tied to. I nearly screamed out, my body shaking ferociously. The gag in my mouth nearly silenced my cries for help and I struggled weakly. The bonds stayed in place after I was hanging upside down, my female captor beginning to speak, just barely over the roaring and whipping winds in my ears. Oh good lord please have mercy, I'm not ready to die yet.

There was a small moment where the only thing I could hear was my heart beat.
Budum...

A feeling of vertigo engulfed me for the second time as I hit the branches on the way down. I couldn't feel the pain...
Budum...

I couldn't feel the wind whipping my skin. I couldn't feel the freezing rain hitting my now open cuts...
Budum...

I'm not ready to die...
BUDUM BUDUM BUDUM...

I'm not ready to die!

The wind stopped suddenly and I could barely breathe, my heart beating as hard as my breathing. I shivered and blinked the tears from my eyes, looking up (down?) to see what had happened to me. My face was inches from the ground, and I became dimly aware of razor like talons carefully gripping my calf.

"TALON YOU FLITTERING STEM BRAIN! WE ALMOST KILLED HER!" The voice was clearly female, and I quickly turned my attention to her. My own thoughts were attacked by a clear look at my captor turned savior.

"Since when did we decide to grow attached to it?! It's not a SHE it's and IT! This is why we don't bring you hunting, you can't get attached to the prey, Claw!" Talon-I assume-screeched at her and stomped his claws into the ground before him, forcing a stone to crack and splinter into thousands of pieces. A piece of debris landed in my eye and I gave a loud cry as I closed my eye. I reached to rub, but my arms were still bound to the piece of wood they were carrying me on. I was extremely surprised to learn that my gag hadn't just slipped down off my face, but it was completely and cleanly cut off, laying down next to me on the ground.

Now's my chance to escape!

I quickly began to struggle, squirming to knock the stick from... 'Claw's' grasp. There was a quick gasp and I hit the back of my head on a stray stone jutting up from the ragged stone, leaving a bump in it's wake. I freaked out after I couldn't keep total track over the various locations of the flying cat assed feather brains. I could barely keep my cool. The harder I struggled, the more I heard a weird splintering sound.

Wait.............

SPLINTERING!!!

I continued to struggle as hard as I possibly could, until I gained freedom of movement from a loud crack. My head was suddenly pinned to the ground, and I couldn't think over the feeling crushing down on my skull. A loud cry of pain escaped my lips as I tried to secure freedom from the painful grasp.

"Talon what are you doing??" There was a new voice now, a little voice. A scared voice, one of a child... The voice shattered my heart and I moved my eyes to glance at the smaller voice. A little griffon stood there, carrying a little limp rabbit on it's back. A young griffon? I didn't know they were tiny when they were young...

"Slasher what are you doing here?! I thought Wench told you to stay home and help with the guests!" Talon squawked with an annoyed glance as his crest fluffed. A show of dominance above the assumed hatchling. I struggled to free my bindings by using a sharp stone jutting up from the ground. I cooed and looked up at Claw desperately, trying to take advantage of her soft spot for me. There was a moment of silence as she stared down at me with a contemplating look upon her bird like face.

Slowly... She gripped her twin hunters claw and lifted it off my head with slight difficulty.

"You are not going to harm it more than necessary... It's obvious that she's submissive right now. We're untying her for the night and she'll be riding with me in the morning."

"Who said YOU could decide that-"

"I DID TALON!" Claws voice silenced Talon and echoed for miles, silencing every little sound of the forest. This made me flinch and I felt my bonds released, and I was stretched to my full height, barely reaching eye level with the creature...

Without a word, Talon pushed passed the third griffon who had remained in named throughout the whole conversation. With that, Claw took Slasher and I into a nearby cave to settle for the night. I watched the two with an amazed daze as Slasher settled down next to her assumed elder sister Claw and curled up to sleep for the night. Claw watched me the entirety of the time, like a hawk watching it's prey incase it decided to run. However, when I simply flopped over with my back facing the mouth of the cave, using a stone as a pillow on a pile of leaves I pulled into the cave as bedding, she just stared at me curiously. I was staring at her just as she was staring at me, and this went on for most of the night.

In the morning I found myself bound to something feathery. I couldn't move my arms or legs across the surface, so when I opened my eyes, I screeched confusedly top see I my arms were tied around the neck of the giant beastly bird cat from last night.

My arms ached.

We approached a strange structure, landing just outside an inn like bar. We landed and I was carried through the entrance and straight to some kind of table. It wreaked of blood in this room... Slasher looked at me sadly and looked to her sister, Claw.

I found myself tied to the table... A knife slowly approaching my throat.

I suddenly knew why they were hunting me...

I suddenly understood why they were carrying me here...

This was a slaughter house.

Tears flowed freely as I struggled, pulling up away from the knife. I wasn't ready... I cast a pleading glance to Claw, who was hiding me from her little sisters field of view. She had her feathers wet around her eyes and I let out a loud yell.

This is it...

I looked into the eyes of my killer, staring into them with a pleading look.

The only thing that stared back was madness. Bloodlust. Merciless serial instinct, the want the need to spill my blood.

"Good riddance you stupid piece of bird food... I'm going to enjoy watching the life drip from your throat."

The blade was pressed against my throat.

"Goodbye... Griffon mea-"

"TALON FEATHER GRIFF!"

What?!
