Tirek has returned to Equestria, through the powers of some dark benefactor. Through his unholy might, he has conquered three of the four princesses, leaving only Twilight and Friends to try and find a way to defeat him. However, their only way to victory being a far off Temple, north of the Galloping Gorge, where a the only thing that could save them slumbers... Celestia promising that, once they arrive, help will come.

But, the question remains, would this myth be true? Or would it be just this, a simple myth of some forgotten legend? Would this aid be able to wake from its slumber and stride to save Equestria from its conqueror? Can it defeat Tirek, and free those whom he has drained of their magic? And who is this strange half man half machine creature that waits for them? And why is Songbird Serenade within the Temple!

Their only answer, lies within a single warcry of a forgotten oath. “We are Unbroken within His Light!”
