How It All Started
You remember that day like it was yesterday. About two months ago, you wandered aimlessly. You couldn't remember anything, not even your name. Eventually, you passed out from exhaustion. Luckily, you had passed out on the edge of a town. A woman with purple skin, and blue, purple, and magenta hair took you in and helped you get back to your full strength. She asked you, "You don't remember anything? I'm sorry to ask this of you, but I need help. I recently made a wish, asking for a warrior. Come with me." She led you to a strange device and said, "Stand on it. I'm right behind you."
You stepped on the panel and appeared in a strange place. The woman appeared shortly after. You ask her, "What is this place?"
The woman said, "This is the Time Nest. I forgot, I never introduced myself. My name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship. The Time Nest is the place where everything that is, has been, and will be is kept. My niece, Flurry Heart is the keeper of this place. She should be around here somewhere..."
As if on cue, a young girl, possibly only 10 years old, ran up to Twilight and hugged her saying, "Auntie Twilight! It's been so long! Why is it that none of my family ever visits me!? I may be the Princess of Time, but I'm still just a kid!"
Twilight raised an eyebrow and said, "Did you forget about the holo-communicator? Your mother and father are very busy, you know they can't come here that often."
The girl smiled nervously and said, "About the holo-communicator... It's on the fritz again..."
Twilight sighed and said, "I'll work on it later, but you need to stop mashing the buttons when you're bored."
You clear your throat and say, "Sorry to break up the reunion, but can we focus on why I'm here?"
The girl looked at you and said, "Oh! Is he that warrior you told me about? If he is, allow me to introduce myself. Flurry Heart, Princess of Time. At your service."
You wave slightly and say, "Charmed. But once again, why am I here?"
Flurry Heart rolled her eyes and said, "Don't be so hasty! My aunt's an expert at that, and she always gets in some sort of trouble because of it. Anyway, I'm sure Twilight told you, but if she didn't, I'll explain. Everything that's happened, is happening, and will happen is written in the Book of Beginning and End, which is housed in the Time Nest. However, the Scrolls of Eternity that make up the pages of the book are being altered. Somebody, or something is altering history. If it isn't corrected, it will bring ruin upon Equestria. I asked my aunt and her friends to help, but they don't have the power to fight the enemies of the past who have been empowered by the changes in history."
You nod and say, "And that's when Twilight wished for a warrior to protect history... and here I am."
Flurry Heart nods and say, "While that's the likely conclusion, we still can't be sure. Are they on their way auntie?"
Twilight sighed and said, "I told them to meet me here, but I'm almost certain something came up."
Suddenly a voice said, "Sorry I'm late darling! The boutique was swamped with new customers! I just couldn't step away!"
Twilight smiled and turned to the white skinned girl with curled purple hair and said, "Ah, Rarity. I'd like to introduce you to the warrior I wished for."
Rarity's blush, while she tried to hide it, was very obvious as she stared at you. She said, "I never expected a fighter to be this handsome. Pleased to meet you, I'm Rarity."
You smile and say, "Nice to meet you too Ms. Rarity." before giving a bow of respect.
Another girl, with blue skin and multi-colored hair came up and said, "Sorry I'm late! There was a training session with Spitfire!" she looked at you and said, "Hey newbie, name's Dash, Rainbow Dash. I knew Twilight wished for a strong warrior, but I never expected somebody like you. Not saying I'm disappointed though. Training with you's sure to make all of us stronger."
Suddenly, a small rabbit runs up to your leg and tries biting at your foot, although it does nothing but annoy you. Before you attempt to kick it away, a yellow-skinned girl with pale pink hair runs over and picked up the rabbit saying, "Angel, no! He's not a bad person! I-Is he?" looking towards Rainbow Dash
Dash nodded and said, "This guy's the warrior Twilight wished for."
Twilight sighed and said, "Dash, we can't be sure of that yet. We still need to test him. As of now, he's just a wandering amnesiac."
You raise an eyebrow at Twilight and say, "Something in my gut tells me you wouldn't have brought me here if you truly thought that."
Flurry Heart nodded and said, "He's got a point auntie."
Another voice interrupted the conversation and said, "Well I'll be. Never expected a wish upon a star t' come true. Name's Applejack, nice t' meet ya partner."
You waved your hand in a greeting manner and asked, "Is this everyone?"
Twilight shook her head and said, "We're still waiting on Pinkie Pie."
Out of nowhere, a pink-skinned girl with pink hair that smelled vaguely like cotton candy appeared and said, "Somebody call my name?"
You shake your head in disbelief and say to yourself, "This one's certainly odd..."
Pinkie Pie looked at you and said, "Hey! I can read the story too you know!"
A voice from nowhere says, "Don't make me turn this into a Pet Cemetery crossover!"
You think, hoping Pinkie doesn't know what you're thinking, "What have I gotten myself into?"
Before Pinkie Pie could say anything, Twilight cleared her throat and said, "I believe that's enough fourth wall breaks for one chapter. Now, first thing's first. We have to test you to make sure you truly are the warrior I asked for. Learn by doing I always say. Rainbow Dash and Applejack will test your fighting abilities. Let's go to the training area." The girls walked over to a ring, and you followed them as well.
Two months later...
You had been a Time Patroller in training for the past two months after passing your test. It was almost time for your first mission, you just had a little more training to complete. This is the beginning to a new adventure
