Prologue

Why?

Why do I fight all the time?

Because it's fun?

If so, then sometimes I wish I didn't have the urge to fight, If that makes sense. I would just leave it to the authorities and others that has that special privilege. Until the day my brother was killed, Chris Howard. I was 9, and he was 29 at the time. He fell in battle, and was finished off by an Anti-Angel. A group of ruthless fighters who don't show mercy at all.

I used to live with my aunt and my twin sister, Silver Howard. She's always acting like mom, I know she does it because she misses her, and I miss her too. She didn't like Chris much because he always got the last word from her, But deep down, I know she loves him. Almost everyday I keep hoping my brother would one day return, then 4 years later, after what I saw that day, I finally realized a giant sword thrusted into the heart, you have to be an idiot to think ANYONE can come back from that. He was a Pandemonium Angel. A group of fighters who serves the same purpose, just more friendly and somewhat forgiving.

My brother's death inspired me to join the PA academy to learn fighting and sorts of magic. They also teach shooting skills with bows and other firearms, although I prefer the best thing my brother was good at, Sword fighting. When there's a time I need to use my weapon, I just reach out my arm and channel the energy though the spirit my weapon contains and it will appear in my hand! For those who choose magic, they don't need to do all that, when they learn magic, it stays in their soul. (or body. I prefer calling them souls). Another thing is, any kind of race or creature can join the Academy. I've seen dogs,rabbits,cats,elves,hybrids,other animals and some other indescribable things. If I saw a Klingon, i might lose it.

Years later, 18 and now skilled with swords and some martial arts, I've met some friends along the way and made a squad.

Sypher Heinlein,

Rush Skyheart,

And finally for now, Trent Broker,

We have to earn our wings by proving we are truly worthy of being a Pandemonium Angel. Rush is in the middle, Sypher's almost there, Trent somehow proved to them he's worthy, I have no clue. Me? I'm still a beginner.

Although for some reason, from time to time my arm and my head would go crazy unless the dean, Commander Wrightfield,

We do jobs and rescues to get paid because I swear, I don't remember when the last time I had a decent meal. One day we were given a job to go venture for some magic gems called glaia. I figured it was some sort of food, though Sypher knew exactly what they are. We were sent into a world called Equestria, A world filled with these powerful stones. Before we departed, Commander said to come back whenever we want. Normally we HAVE to come back, but she said as long as we bring back a glaia or two, we can stay as long as we're welcomed. I kinda thought about it for a moment , but I didn't care much because I was ready to go in, get out and get paid and get food.

As soon as we jumped into the portal to this world, I heard a voice.

"Good luck Leo!"

And that's me,

~Dorm - B, Room 1489~

-The clock says "8:41 am"

"Leo?"

"Leo?!"

"LEO!"

He hears the voice calling his name and tries to ignore it rolling over to the other side of his bed. "6 more minutes" he says mumbling in his sleep.

"For your standards, that's 2 hours. NOW GET UP!" He shouts as he kicks him off the bed.

"Damn it Sypher!" Leo says as he gets up, rubbing his head. "Can't this job wait until tomorrow?"

"No. Normally I wouldn't give a shit, But this one's high priority and I'm not gonna let this one slip away from me by the other guys. Rush! are you dressed yet?!"

The silver haired elf peeks his head out from his room. "I need to shower first! But Trent's hogging the bathroom!

It's true as Sypher hear's Trent's whistling coming from the shower. "Trent!!"

He peeks his head out of the shower curtains. "I'm almost done! geez"

Leo finally gets up from his bed and puts on his clothes when he goes out on a Job.

"Are you even dressed Sypher?"

"I don't know, you tell me"

Rush comes out of his room dressed "Never mind guys, I took a shower last night"

The bathroom door opens and Trent steps out ...dressed

"No wonder that was quick. Put on a shirt Trent!"

"I did"

"A T-Shirt!" Sypher growls

"No way! I'm a chick magnet looking like this"

"More like a chick repellent. No one wants to see your scars"

"Or are you just jealous that I have a 6 six pack?"

"You drew that with black marker"

"WOULD ALL OF YOU JUST HURRY THE HELL UP!?!?!" Sypher's scream was loud enough to scare away nearby birds and nearby students and staff.

~P.A.A Portal~

Pandemonium Angel Academy, A place where you learn to defend yourself with Magic,Objects,Weapons and Martial Arts. It's sort of like heaven, except no one's wearing a halo. There are wings though. Where is this place located? ...no one knows, you sign up and before you know it...you're there. Near the gate, the 4 heroes of this fic are in front of a blue portal.

"So this is it?" Leo asked.

Sypher stepped up, drinking from his canteen. "If Wrightfield says it's it, then it's it"

"Stop saying "it" Sypher" A girl next to him says.

"Stop telling me what to do or I'll make you watch "IT" Maria"

"Shut up! I hate clowns!"

"Pfft It was stupid anyway. Building up to a stupid giant fake spider" Trent says taking out a lighter.

"Anyway are we ready?" Leo said very bored-like.

"Wait! We should really reconsider this" Rush quietly stated.

"No time! I'm hungry!" Leo says jumping in.

"Good Luck Leo!"

In the mild cloudy skies of Ponyville, a portal appears with feathers slowly falling out of it. Then Leo falls down from it, followed by Sypher and then Rush. The 4th one, Trent, is still on the other side of the portal, smoking and waiting for approval to know if it's OK to walk in, and Maria next to him stands there wanting to know the same thing. Except she's not going, she's just very curious.

"You guys!" Trent yells. "What's it like?!" ... no response.

"Are they ok?" Maria asks Trent.

"How am I supposed to know?" he answers back. "I would know if I was there wouldn't I?"

"You don't have to be an ass about it!" Maria growls back.

"Wait!" Commander Wrightfield shouts, running down the steps "Don't step in the portal just-" she stops as she sees it's too late when the other 3 had already stepped in and Trent is still here. "Trent! jump in and save them!"

"Wait why?" he asks with little anxiety.

"I forgot to tell the lieutenant to alter the coordinates of the portal to the ground of this world, right now they're falling from the sky!"

Trent kinda gets what's she's talking about, but then he realizes something else, the others can't fly. He immediately jumps though the portal.

"I should've pushed him in there" Maria said.

Back to the other 3 falling, they see Trent diving down towards them.

"Where the heck were you?!" Sypher snaps at Trent.

"I was waiting to know if it's safe!" he yells back.

"Whatever! Will you do something before rush passes out?!" Leo yells in frustration.

Trent's been in situations like this before. He knows exactly what to do. He reaches out his arm and a yellow aura appears in his hand, then instantly a long red and yellow pole bursts into his grasp. He then holds it over their heads so they can grab on to it. When they do, Trent sprouts his wings to glide them to the ground safely.

"Phew! I feel so much better." Rush said sighing in relief.

Meanwhile below them in Ponyville, Some of the local citizens looks up and notices 3 beings in the air. Some of them assume they were just a couple kids hang gliding so they went on their business.

"Hey guys...I'm gettin' pretty tired" Trent yawns as his eyes slowly start to close.

The others panic that their pilot is getting drowsy. Because when he gets sleepy, he can't fly. His wings fade into his back and they continued falling. Before Leo could find out what to do next, everything instantly went black. A few moments later, he hears voices and conversations. His eyes slowly open as he sees Rush. Rush's was very worried at first, then seeing Leo awake made him happier than no longer falling from the sky.

"Oh thank goodness you're awake!" Rush exclaims, not hesitating to hug Leo.

"Would you relax?" Leo said, trying to break free.

"Oh I'm sorry." Rush said releasing him.

Leo rubs his head in confusion "What happened?"

Rush stands up and scratches his head. "When Trent stopped gliding us to the ground, I panicked and accidentally kicked your head a little too hard. I'm sorry" rush said, hoping Leo won't get angry.

"It's alright Sky" Leo said patting his back. "That's who you are" before Leo could say anything else he looks around and notices something, they're no longer falling. They're standing in front of the fountain area of Ponyville. "How are we still alive?"

"Before we hit the pavement, these nice citizens alerted the Fire department and we fell on a trampoline" Rush exclaims.

"Ok cool." Leo gets up and brushes himself off. "Uh where is Trent or Sypher?"

"Sypher's "waking up" Trent" Rush quoted while ignoring the fight cloud behind him with Trent and Sypher in it.

"I'm awake, I'm awake!"

"Oh I'll wake you up even more!"

Leo whistles to them, making them stop fighting. Sypher throws one more punch at Trent.

"Now we have another problem" Rush said.

The next thing they've noticed is that everypony has been staring at them the whole time the FD has helped them. Some of them are scared and some are in a assertive stance. The 4 angels stick together as they prepare for anything that might be a threat.

"They don't look too threatening, they look uh....kinda adorable" Leo said as he relaxes.

"Are these...horses?" Trent asks.

"No" Rush answers "Horses are bigger. These are ponies. Very colorful ponies.

"What do we do now nak?" Sypher asks Leo, trying not to show too much tension on his face.

"I'm not sure. And don't call me that" Leo said quietly "...wait do you hear that?"

Leo wasn't the only one that heard that noise. It was the sound of a fanfare in the far distance of Ponyville. All the pony citizens bow down, while the 4 angels just stand there in confusion.

"Now what's going on?" Trent asks as he reaches into his pocket for a box of cigarettes.

A shout was heard from the crowd. "It's got a weapon!" 3 colts jumps out from the crowd and tackle Trent to the ground while the other confiscates his cigarettes.

"Hey! Give those back!" he yells struggling against the 2 colts holding him down.

"What is it?" one colt asks.

The other colt examines the box. "Camel..." he said, trying to read it. "What kind of alien weapon is this?"

"It's called cigarettes, you dink" The mare next to him answered. "That alien probably smokes"

"I'm not an alien!" Trent shouts in frustration.

"Yeah? we'll see about-" the colt's interrupted as he hears the fanfare getting closer.

They all resume bowing and as soon enough, the angels spot in the sky two armored colts air galloping towards them, in their carriage, they are escorting a tall white alicorn with a blue,green,lavender and pink wind blowing mane and tail. As they reach the ground, the alicorn walks towards the angels. The forceful colts release Trent while Rush helps him up. And before they know it, The alicorn is standing in front of them.

"Uh..." is all Leo can say, stunned by her presence.

"Greetings" the alicorn spoke with a royal voice. "My name is Princess Celestia. We wish not to conduct a war with your species"

The angels huddle together and whisper to each other. As the conversation goes on, Sypher whacks Trent on the head for whatever idea he came up with. Then they all un-huddle and turn to the princess. "Look" Sypher said surely. "Celestia, we don't-"

"You will address her as "Princess" Celestia, and you will only speak when you are permissioned to do so, alien scum!" one of her guards yells.

Sypher's anger slowly builds up with a vein on his forehead . "Who the hell are you calling scum?! I'll address her however I want and I'll talk whenever I want, you walking, talking piece of glue!" Before they were about to fight, Celestia stops her guard the same time Leo stops Sypher. Celestia and Leo now glare at each other for a moment. then it becomes a fierce epic stare. They're both thinking about what the next move will be.

"That's fine because we don't want to start a war either!" Leo exclaims rubbing the back of his head, ending the stare-down.

"Oh thank goodness" she said less royally and in relief.

"Your highness, you can't be serious-"

"We welcome your race to Equestria" she said holding out her hoof.

The guard scuffs off to the carriage, waiting until it was time to leave.

Leo shakes her hoof gladly while Sypher nudges him in the stomach hard.

"Don't ever do that again" Sypher said sharply pretending to smile.

"Do what?!" Leo asks, pretending to smile and trying to ignore the pain.

"What exactly are you?!" One of the mares shouted from the crowd.

Trent steps up to the edge of the fountain with concited pride. "Well we are-"

"Humans..."

He was interrupted by a pale green coated mare with a white mane with very light green streaks. She slowly walks out of the crowd towards Trent. Her pupils were small and her grin was getting creepier and creepier as she gets closer. "You're...humans!!!" she screams excitedly jumping up and down. "I've read EVERYTHING about humans! The part I've read about the most was...hands. May I see your hands? Please?!"

Trent steps back as the disturbing mare follows. He trips and falls into the fountain. "Leo?! Sypher?! Permission to attack?!"

"Permission not granted" Sypher said smiling for real. "I'm kinda enjoying this"

"You guys are the worst!!!" He shouts, still trying to back away from the mare.

Then she finally jumps on top of him. "I know I've read everything about them, but I feel like there's more...millions more! Like...how to become one!"

Another mare rushes in and grabs her from behind and pulls her away from Trent. "Please excuse her" she said trying to keep her from escaping her grasp. "She just needs rest"

"They said I was crazy. But I can show them!"

"Let's go home sweetie" The sane mare said as she drags her away.

"That's twice!" Trent said getting up. "I wasn't scared" he secretly wipes a tear from his eye. He barely even cares that he's wet.

"Now" Celestia said. "What purpose do you have for entering this world?"

Sypher clears his throat.

Moments later they're being escorted on foot by her guards to a library.

"How DID she know we were here?" Rush asks.

"From Canterlot, she saw all the commotion here in Ponyville" One of the guards responded.

"Ugh!" both Leo and Trent groaned. They obviously don't like spending time at a library. But after explaining their reason of appearing in Equestria, Celestia's recommendation was to come to the library to meet somepony and her friends.

"Come on guys" "Rush said cheerfully. "Look on the brightside"

They glare at rush, waiting for the brightside.

"Um...we can learn?"

They groaned even louder.

"You know what" Trent said annoyed. "Whatever, as long as I don't constantly get jumped or tackled, I'm good...I hope"

The guards stop in front of the library.

"This is it" one of the guards said, and both of them turning around and walking away.

"Hold Up!" Leo shouts. "No warnings or anything?"

"Oh yeah" the guard said chuckling. "Watch out for the pink one" they walk away laughing.

"What do you think they mean that?" Trent asks.

Sypher shrugs and they all turn their attention to the giant tree that's a library.

Leo knocks on the purple door and they hear a voice.

"Just one minute!"

Then another voice.

"I'll get it!"

They hear clopping sounds getting closer to the door. The door opens and then a yellow coated, pink maned Pegasus walks out the door and looks up and sees 4 young men slightly taller than her. She slowly gasps and runs back in.

"What was that about?" Trent said scratching his head.

Another one pops her head out, this one doesn't run away though.

"Hello! Can I help you?"

Chapter 1 - 2 "Getting to know each other" Part 1

"Hi" Leo says nervously. "Are you Twilight Sparkle?"

"Why yes!" she answers. "Yes I am"

"Um...may we come in? Rush asks. Then he whispers to Leo, "Ponies are staring at us"

"I don't know" she said. "I'm kinda busy"

"Oh" Leo says a little dissapointed. "A princess told us to come here-"

"PRINCESS CELESTIA?!"

"Um...yes I-"

Before Leo could say anything else, The unicorn levitated the 4 of them inside. "Why didn't you say so?!" She exclaims as she descends them back to their feet.

"Darling!" a voice from upstairs was heard. "I've taken the liberty to make your bed. Because honestly Twilight-" She pauses and gasps when she sees the 4 young men. "Heavens!" She rushes over to Leo. "Good heavens! That small white fluff on the back of that jacket? A GREEN tank top? Black Pants and orange shoes?"

"Is there a problem?" he asks.

"Well" she says looking confused. "No I've never seen such odd clothing dear" She turns to herself. "I must find out what these clothing styles are" Twilight clears her throat. "Oh!" She realizes. "Where are my manners? My name is Rarity" She holds out her hoof in front of him.

...

..."Well?" she asks.

"Well what?"

"When you greet a lady, you're suppose to shake their hooves"

He sighs and shakes her hoof.

"That's more like it" She says satisfied. "You may call me "miss" Rarity if you like. After all-"

"AHEM!"

"Oh! Um...sorry I'm seem to be overdoing it"

"Are they gone?" The yellow Pegasus asked, hiding under a table.

"Who?" Twilight answered.

"Those tall, scary creatures"

"Pfft! There are no scary creatures here" Twilight said, helping the yellow Pegasus from the table.

"Oh good! For a second there I-" She sees the 4 boys again and rushes back under the table.

"They're not gonna hurt you" Twilight says trying to get her out from the table.

"Well I wouldn't be too sure-"

"Shut up!" Leo quietly growls at Sypher.

"Come on out from there and introduce yourself!" Twilight says helping her from the table again.

"Um" She utters "...My n-name is flutteer..."

"I'm sorry can you repeat that? Rush asked.

"I'm Fluttermm..." her voice trails off.

"I'm sorry what?"

The yellow Pegasus whimpers and hides behind Twilight.

"...My heart" Rush thought "Just melted"

"I'm sorry" Twilight says confronting the yellow Pegasus. "She's just very shy"

"I see..." Rush says still stunned by the yellow Pegasus's cuteness.

"Can I come out now?"

"Crap!" Leo thought.

"What was that?" Twilight wondered.

"Oh Nothing I sneezed!" Leo answered quickly, slowly sweating.

"Tell me that's not what I think it is" Sypher said.

"What's going on Leo?" Trent whispered.

Leo can deny it no longer, he's been hiding something for a while since he ranked up to doing jobs. He pulls off his glove and reveals a blue ring. He draws in the air with it in a circular flame pattern. A green flame appears in the air. Then a small hand reaches out from the other side, then Leo grabs it's hand and pulls it out. It revealed in front of them, was a chibi-like human with white semi long hair, wolf ears and a wolf tail.

Trent's cigarette almost dropped from his mouth.

"You were suppose to stay in there until it was clear" Leo says, grinning his teeth.

"Well I'm sorry! She says floating around him. "I got so bored and lonely"

"I knew it! You still have a spirit guide!" Sypher shouts.

Leo sighs "Yes, I do"

Sypher was in more shock than Trent. "Why... this is-"

"Adorable!" The yellow Pegasus exclaims running towards the guide. "Oh my! I've never seen anything amazing as you!"

"I've barely seen a creature this cute!" She exclaims "My name is Nia"

"I like that name! My name is Fluttershy"

"Wow! That name suits you so well!" Nia exclaims. "I think we'll get along just fine!"

Knock Knock Knock!

They all hear that knocking sound. But it's not coming from the door. It sounded like glass.

"Hey!"

It came from Twilight's window upstairs.

"Is that-"

"Yep" Twilight says as she facehoofs.

They all see it's a pink mare earth pony that keeps bouncing up. They assume she's on some trampoline.

"You guys...are having...a party...and I...wasn't...invited?!...WHEEE!"

Twilight walks to the door. "Would you come in here to talk-"

The pink mare barges though the door leaving Twilight pressed against the door and she slowly slides down the door. "I said, you guys are having a party and I wasn't-" She stops as she sees 5 new faces standing in front of her. She gasps for a brief moment and rushes out the door.

"Was that the pink one the guard was talking about?" Rush asked.

"She was pink enough to be bubble gum or cotton candy" Trent said.

Twilight gets back up and closes the door. And before she could do anything else, the pink mare barges though the door again, flattening Twilight against the door...again.

"Where do you guys live?" The pink mare asked.

"We don't live here in this world" Leo responded.

The pink mare stood there for a second. Then...just sat down and stared blankly at them.

...

"I'm scared" Rush said, cowering behind Leo.

"Oh that's just Pinkie Pie" Rarity said. "She does this when somepony she's first met doesn't tell her where they live"

"Why?" Sypher asked.

"It's a...uh...surprise" She responded.

"I'm not used to surprises"

"I love surprises!"

"Who doesn't love surprises?!"

"I hate surprises"

"They're ok...I guess"

Twilight closes the door again. Before she could ask the angels a question, she hears another knock. This time on the door. She groans in frustration as she opens the door, and it's somepony different. This was a light blue mare Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. Followed by an orange mare earth pony, blonde ponytail-ed mane and tail with white freckles on her cheeks and a stetson hat.

"We just got done apple bucking" the light blue Pegasus said.

"We finished before lunch!" the orange mare said.

"That's a new record!" the light blue Pegasus exclaims high hoofing the orange mare.

"Ah see som' new faces!" the orange mare said.

"Man, what's all the commotion about?"

They turn to notice a baby dragon walking down the stairs.

"NOW he wakes up" Twilight said. "That's my little assistant, Spike"

"Twilight, these aren't more assistants are they? I mean, We've got owlicious " Spike asked

"Of course not Spike!" She answers. "Well come to think of it. I don't think they are. They said they were here because the princess said to come here. But before we figure that out, who are you guys?"

They all bunch together and glare at the 4 angels and their SG.

"My name's Trent Broker"

"I'm Rush Skyheart"

"Sypher Heinlein"

"Leopald Howard. Please try to call me Leo"

"And I'll say it once again, My name is Nia"

"Well it's a fancy meetin' ya'll! "Mah name is Applejack" She exclaims, shaking each of their hands very hard.

"Quite a grip you got there" Leo complimented with his hand beating red.

"And I'm Rainbow Dash! The fastest flier in all of Equestria! I'm sure you've heard of me" She says glaring at Trent.

"Not really" Trent responded.

"Huh?!" She's shocked that someone has never heard of her. "I mean surely you've heard rumors about me" She said.

"Nope" Trent responded.

"Well you...uh...forget it. What are you suppose to be anyway?" She asks, floating around him.

"Ugh I really hate repeating myself" Sypher says getting irritated. "We're humans! Don't you guys read books about humans? Like that green pony-"

"Sypher! Please don't mention her again!" Trent said fearfully.

"Will you grow a pair?"

"Excuse me Mr.Broker, are you from Manehattan?" Rarity asked.

"...You mean Manhattan? No I'm from Brooklyn" Trent answered.

"I can tell because of your accent. I recognize that accent anywhere" She exclaims.

"Thank you Rarity" Trent said.

At the sametime, Rarity whispers to Twilight how funny it is that Trent says "Manhattan" and Trent whispers to Leo how adorable it is that Rarity says "Manehattan".

"Now before we discuss anything else, Leo, why do you STILL have a spirit guide?" Sypher asked, starting to get mad.

"I'm sorry for asking, But what's a Spirit Guide?" Fluttershy asks.

"I'll explain cutie" Nia exclaims as she clears her throat. "When you first enter the Pandemonium Angels Academy, You are given a Spirit Guide. They'll help you learn the skills you want to learn. Swords,Shape shifting devices, Dual blades,Poles or staffs,Magic.Martial Arts,Bows and other Firearms and even guitars! Almost anything can be learned to fight with. Used properly of course! Once you've fully learned a skill, you'll have to test them against the dean of P.A.A., Commander Wrightfield. Don't be fooled! This isn't the army or anything, well sort of. Her name just happens to be "Commander" Wrightfield.. Anyway after you've defeated her. You'll rank up! But you'll have to give up your Spirit guide. That's the sad part. But you'll also be able to learn how to fly! That's the awesome part!

"In a nutshell: It's like a real life mmorpg." Trent explained better.

"OK you've explained it. good. Now please tell me WHY DOES LEO STILL HAVE YOU?!" Sypher furiously shouts.

"Ow! My ear! You are so mean!

"Honestly" Leo started. "She's my first friend I've ever met. I never had a friend, before I joined PAA. I've hidden her from you guys,the public and Commander for a long time"

"You idiot" Sypher said. "Who makes friends with a Spirit Guide?"

"I do" Leo responded as Nia floats over to him and nuzzles his cheek. "What's wrong with that?"

"Nothing at all" Nia says.

"I assume you're all friends right?" Fluttershy asks.

"Of course!"

"Without a doubt!"

"Always!"

"To the end!"

"Who says I'm their friends?"

They all turn to Sypher.

"Sypher...if you're not our friend, then how come you hang with us when we eat or do jobs?" Trent asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Tch. Shut up" Sypher lightly growled "Don't piss me off and I won't tell Commander about your Spirit Guide"

"I have a name!"

"I'll try not to" Leo responded.

"Now about Pinkie Pie" Rush stated. "Should we tell her?"

"Whatever" Sypher whispered to them. "It's not like they'll follow or find us"

"Alright then" Leo says as he walks over to Pinkie. "We live at PAA, Dorm B, Room 1489"

Pinkie Smiled and ran back out the door.

"Anyway back to business" Twilight said. "What did the princess had to say or wanted you or us to do?"

Sypher clears his throat.

Meanwhile back at P.A.A

At the statue of a memorable PA fighter with 8 empty slots, behind the statue, is a flight of stairs leading up to a medium sized building, that is Commander's living quarters. Commander is walking up the steps. Then her ear piece rings. "Hello?"

"I'm very sorry to interrupt what you're doing Ms.Wrightfield, you appear to have a visitor in your quarters"

"Thank you. That's where I'm headed" She hangs up and proceeds to her quarters. She reaches the top of the steps and opens the 2 doors, revealing a semi-long bright yellow hallway with paintings and statues of more memorable PA fighters. She proceeds down the hallway to the end door, where her study/bedroom is. She opens the door to see Princess Celestia looking through her books. "Excuse me? What the..."

The alicorn turned around. "You have some interesting books here"

Commander did not hesitate to pull out a sword from the 2 holsters on her back and point it at her. But the princess did not move,flinch or make a sound. She just smiled. Commander puts her sword back into her holster. "You're that alicorn from equestria. How did you get here?"

"Oh my goodness, I'm being rude, how silly of me! My Name is Princess Celestia. I'm an alicorn. I can teleport to other worlds. It takes a lot of energy to do, it takes a while to regain all that back. So I'll say about...2 times a month. No big deal really!"

"Um...OK, my name is Commander Wrightfield"

"Are you a ranking officer?"

"Oh no! My first name just happens to be "Commander". I run the entire grounds of this academy. Anyway is there a problem?"

"No...at least not yet. But I want to talk, discuss things. I would like to know more about these "Glaia" gems your boys spoke of"

"You mean my apprentice and his friends?"

Celestia nods. The blonde one is your apprentice?"

"Why yes he is. How did you guess that right?"

"Because he shows good charisma for his friends. Anyway a interesting coincidence! I have an apprentice too"

"That purple unicorn?"

"Yes! How do you know all this?"

"I'll show you. Come."

Commander walks out of her room as Celestia follows. She opens the door across from her room and inside is a computer room with other PA staff typing and talking to each other.

"Lieutenant! Did you fix the portal?"

"Yep! It's at a appropriate location!"

Commander walks over to the big computer screen and types in numbers, then multiple shots of Equestria spreads out across the screen. "We have a special satellite that finds other realms and shows us images. For Equestria, you and your apprentice just so happens to show up on our results"

"Interesting" Celestia says. "This is a lot of tech you got here"

"Can't live without it!" Commander exclaimed.

They leave the computer room and head over to another door to the right, she opens it and it's a kitchen/living room. "Please, have a seat" Commander insisted.

The princess sits where she stands.

"Tea?" Commander asked

"Do you have wine?"

"Yes I do. I think it's better because it takes forever to make tea" Commander said as she reaches into her cabinet for a bottle of wine and pours her and herself a glass.

"So please, tell me more about these glaia gems".

"Alright, glaia are gemstones that contains an ultimate source of power When in grasp, they will grant the holder power depending on it's attribute. They're are 8, "Berserk", "Speed", "Style", "Fire", "Ice" , "Light", "Dark" and the most powerful of all, "Hyper". We plan on collecting them all to power our statue. When it's fully charged, we'll be able fend off the "Dreams of Uraksin"

"Dreams of Uraksin?"

"Yes. They are an abstract group of humans and mostly creatures destined to terrorize and spread chaos"

"That reminds me of discord" Celestia said. "He once filled half of Equestria with chaos and trickery. But Twilight Sparkle and her friends defeated him and sealed him back to where he belongs"

"That would be?"

"A statue...or was it stone?"

"Well aren't you worried he might break out?"

"Nope. This time, it would take an ally to release him. There's nopony I know that would side with him"

"Then that's good" Commander said as she sips her wine. "Did you come here alone?"

"Oh no. I brought 2 of my best royal guards. And I don't know, some pink blur ran past me...anyway!

Outside of Commander's quarters, Celestia's 2 royal guards are roaming around the academy, walking through the shopping district.

"Blitz, Just let it go" the other guard said.

"Why should I? He has no respect for royalty!" Blitz said in anger.

"When other ponies speak to the princess, you don't have a problem with it"

"Maltimor, That's different"

"...wait you're prejudice against humans?"

"No! What makes you say that?"

As they're walking, they pass multiple humans waving and saying hello. While Blitz just glare at each of them suspiciously.

"Well...you're giving everyone of them that look" Maltimor said. "Please tell me what's wrong"

"I'm not telling you anything. But as a friend I'll tell you this, the last time I tried to interact with a human, I lost an eye" he turns to Maltimor revealing the patch on his eye.

"I'm sorry Blitz. But for me, that's not a good explanation why you don't like humans" Maltimor said. "Also, why did call that black hair guy an "alien"?

"Because he has those devilish horns hidden on his head. But the rest of his body is all human. Also that silver hair one has those long pointy ears and has a human body. So that still doesn't change the matter. To me, he's still human. Also he's not worthy of me calling him a human. Especialy after his rouge performance"

"And how long have you known about humans?" Maltimor asked.

"Way too long" Blitz answered.

Maltimor sighs "Whatever let's get something eat. I haven't had breakfast"

Blitz sees a cafe with no humans. Instead it has other species. "We'll eat there" "And no humans" he thought to himself.

As they walk over to the counter, Maltimor rings the bell and they are greeted by a female human. "Hello!"

"Crap..." Blitz says looking down in depression.

"Aren't you two adorable! What will you have?"

"I'll have a daffodil burger" Maltimor said.

"A daffodil burger? she says very confused as she looks though her notepad with a list of orders. "I'm sorry sir but we don't have-"

"Are you freaking deaf?" Blitz hisses at the worker. "If he wants a daffodil burger then GET HIM A DAFFODIL BURGER!"

She panics and runs back to the kitchen.

"What is wrong with you Blitz?! I could've had a drink instead!"

"She's a lazy worker....what?"

"..." Maltimor is stunned by the presence of a giant male worker with his eyes close standing in front of them.

"What's wrong with...you" he slowly turns around and sees the same man. He's only slightly stunned.

"Can I take order?" he spoke with a calm, thick and deep Russian accent.

"Yeah! Can my friend here get a daffodil burger?!"

"Wait here" the giant man walks back into the kitchen.

"That guy was HUGE!" Maltimor exclaims.

"A huge human" Blitz said.

"Well anyway back to the human thing, the 4 of them we met earlier today, and aside of them being human, what do you think of them?"

"Well the blonde one, he's a punk, the silver hair one, he's a prissy punk, the goggle wearing brown pony tail one is a stupid punk, and the black hair one, oh boy I do NOT like him. Not ONE bit"

"He kinda reminds me of you" Maltimor said.

"What was that?!" Blitz snapped.

"A little! A little!!"

"Whatever, overall: they're all punks"

The man comes back with a plate and places it in front of the them.

"Enjoy" he said.

"Wait!" Blitz shouted as he lifts the bun. "What...the hell is this?"

"It's burger, cow meat" he responded.

"COW?!?!?" Blitz shouted in rage. Everyone in the area heard and turned to him.

"Blitz you're attracting too much-"

"What kind of sick species is this?! You eat...COWS?!"

"Yeah, it's good meat. So is deer, sheep, and pig"

Blitz jumped up on the counter and stares at the man in the eyes. The giant shows no signs of fear.

"I, BLITZERTEN THE III, WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!!!"

"But you're already standing"

"Shut up!! What's your name?"

"Fatcher, my friends call me Fatty because it's true. I have most muscle, but some fat"

"Well Fatty, we ponies are civilized and don't eat other animals! Come on Malt!" he storms off.

"I apologize!" Maltimore says, while he catches up to Blitz.

"It's too bad. They would've made nice guys to hang with, yes?" Fatcher said to the female worker.

"All I know is that the one with the eye patch is scary!" she says.

Fatcher shrugs "Oh well! back to cooking!"

(Just in case, the 2 royal guards names are "Blitzerten the III" and "Maltimor") and I purposely intended for Fatcher to talk with low level English grammar.

Chapter 1 - 4 "Emancipation"

"Oh you are so full of it!"

"It's true!"

As a conversation between Rainbow Dash and Trent go on, the 4 angels and the mane 6 are walking towards Sweet Apple Acres.

"Why are we here at apple acres?" Rarity asked.

"These boys are gonna need som' muscle for this job. So ah know where we can get som' muscle" Applejack said.

"What about me? I've got some muscle!" Trent whined.

"Can you lift a truck?" Both Applejack and Sypher asked him.

Long pause "No..." Trent says as he turns his head from them.

"APPLEJACK!" a filly calls out, running towards AJ and tackling her to the ground.

"Get off me sis!" AJ laughing about the matter. "Why you in such a giddy mood?"

"You'll never guess what me and the crusaders found!"

Applejack fixes her hat. "What was it?

"it was red, shining and glowy! But it's wedged into the ground! Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are watching it"

"So what chu want me to do about it?"

"We need your muscle to get it out!"

"Sorry sis, I would, but ah'm tuckered out from apple picking. Big Mac can help" she turns to the boys. "He's the muscle I was talkin about"

"Great!" Leo exclaimed. "So uh...where is Big Mac?"

"IN YOUR DREAMS VARMINT!" a voice came from above as a green elderly pony falls on top of him. "You ain't taking my grandchildren on my watch!" She shouts as she rides his back, pulling on his hair.

"Granny! He's a good fella!" Applejack yells as she pry's the assaulting woman off Leo.

"OK, but I still got my eye on you...er...what was I doing?"

"You was baking a pie" Applejack says.

"Shyoot!" She slowly runs back inside the house.

Leo gets back up and brushes himself off. "And that was...?"

"That was Granny Smith, Ah apologize for her antics, she does this whenever she sees somepony new" Applejack said, helping him with the dirt on his pants.

"APPLEBLOOM!!!"

Applebloom turned to the direction her named was called. "Scootaloo! Why aren't you watching it?!"

"We was! But then these dog guys stole it right in front of us!"

"Dogs? Diamond Dogs?!" Rarity yelled.

"Diamond Dogs?" Rush questions.

"Diamond Dogs!" Rarity says furiously. "Oh how I loath those ruffians! They really don't know how to treat a lady"

"They use ponies to mine and dig for gems" Twilight said.

"Slavery? That's just down right cliched, yet cruel! Trent said.

"Wait! Where is Sweetie Belle?" Rarity Panicked.

"That's why I came here, they kidnapped her!"

They all gasp in shock and horror.

"Then why didn't you stop them?!" Rarity yelled.

"They were big! I couldn't-

"Couldn't what? Stand up for yourself?!"

"Rarity!" Twilight yelled. "She's just a filly!"

"...I'm sorry Scootaloo. I just can't stand to hear that something awful has happened to my sister! We need to get her back!"

"And we will Rarity!" Twilight exclaimed "Come on girls!"

Before the mane 6 were about to head off,

"Hold on!"

They all turn to Sypher.

"We're coming too"

"We are?" Rush asked to confirm with hesitation.

"Yes. What that little kid just described was a glaia. And this one is unstable, if they figure out how it works..."

"It won't be pretty, let's leave it at that" Trent added.

"Wait what about Big Mac?" Rush asked. "You said we're gonna need muscle"

"Ah'm gonna be the muscle! I feel like a new pony!" Applejack exclaimed

"Can we come?!" Applebloom and Scootaloo asked.

"No can do lil' missy, you girls stay here with Granny Smith and Big Mac.

"Fine" Applebloom said in a disappointed tone.

"Don't worry girls, We'll get her back before sun down!" AJ exclaimed.

"You guys think you can keep up?" Rainbow Dash boasted.

"Watch me" Leo said to himself.

"Let's go Everyone!" Twilight said in high spirits.

They head off to Diamond Dog Cave.

Meanwhile back at Twilight's library, Spike and Nia stayed behind to tidy up the library, of course Nia insisted that she helped. Spike continues to pickup books that are all over the place as while Nia floats around freely with a care in the world. "Spike are you sure you don't need any help?"

"That's ok Nia, I can clean this place up in a minute!" Not looking where he's going, he bumps into a stacked pile of books Twilight left and they fall on him. Nia flies over to the pile of books that spike's under. His head pops out. "Hehe, maybe in a few hours?"

Nia giggles at Spikes humor. Her hands glow white and she levitates a few books from Spike and puts them in their rightful place on the shelves.

"Wow! I know you can fly, but I didn't know you're magical too!"

"Well all Spirit Guides are magical silly! And I have to say, your purple friend must have a lot of time on her ha-...hooves to read these books"

"You have NO idea" He says as he gets out of the remaining pile of books. "Other than hang out with the others, she stays in her bookworm cave all day and I pick up the books that she finishes and leaves all over this place sometimes"

"That's the exact opposite of Leo, he does anything BUT read a book. He just plays games with his friends all the time and I pick up his socks"

...

"WE"RE BOTH SLAVES!" They laugh together about the whole matter that Twilight and Leo are nerds in their own way.

"But I'm not really his slave. I just can't stand to see a room covered in white footwear"

"I don't know, I feel like a slave to Twilight sometimes"

They both sit down facing each other.

"So how did you and Twilight become friends?" Nia curiously asks Spike.

"Well she told me that when she was young, she hatched me when I was an egg"

"WAIT, SHE'S YOUR MOM?!"

"What?! No no no no no no no! Gross! Well...sometimes she treats me like I'm her son... and raised me like one. We're really good friends. I'm her assistant...her best assistant"

"Oh. Well that's really sweet of her to take you in as a son" She says as she settles down.

"And how did you and Leo become friends?"

"Me and Leo? That's kind of a long story"

"That's okay. I'm all ears! ...ears? ...I'm listening!"

"Well...it was back when he joined the Pandemonium Angel Academy"

It was his first day I believe. He picked me to be his spirit guide. Either by choice or random, I didn't care, I was glad to be finally work with my master. But at first he wasn't really interested into listening to me or my advice, all he cared about was learning how to fight, I felt really ignored and left out. But the next day, things changed

"Man I'm not learning crap from this place. How did Chris do it?!" Leo said as he kicks a rock on the ground.

"Master?" Nia popped in front of him. "May I suggest that you go talk to the-"

"That Wrightfield lady?! I know! But she keeps telling me the same damn thing, "Do the first obvious task" What the hell does that mean? And what's the point of having a spirit guide? It's stupid. You guys aren't helpful. Just a waste of time"

She stops following him after that statement. After letting what he said sink in, a tear falls down her eye. "Master..."

"What?" he says angrily.

"If that's how you feel, then I'll no longer be your Spirit Guide" She tries her very best to keep any more tears from falling down her face "I'll request that I'll be reassigned immediately...good bye" She flies away.

But after that, all I could remember was waking up, I was on the ground and saw Leo getting beat up by 2 boys. One was holding him and the other was beating him with his fists. They tossed him towards me and they just walked away. Leo had some strength in him to crawl closer to me. He told me that those boys threw me against the wall hard when I accidentally bumped into them and I was too weak to move. He told them off about doing that and tried to fight them...for me. He smiled to see I was okay, before he passed out, he coughed out blood saying something that made me want to stay his Spirit Guide to the end.

"I was wrong about what I said. You guys are not a waste of time. Especially you Nia, I'm sorry. I don' blame you if you don't want to see me again. I'll say the same thing I said to my sister...I don't care what happens to me, as long as your ok and smiling"

He passes out in his small puddle of blood.

"..."

"Master?!"

"MASTER?!?!"

Chapter 1 - 5 "What an Angel can do"

The Heroes have finally reached the top of Diamond Dog Cave.

"Is this it?" Leo asked.

"No doubt" Rarity responded.

"There's no front door or anything?"

"Think of this as a shortcut darling"

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Rainbow Dash says as she flies into one of the holes the Diamond Dogs left open.

CLANG!

They all cringe as it sounds painful. Fluttershy rushes over to Rainbow Dash. "Are you OK?"

The blue Pegasus pulls her face off from the object. "What the hay?!" She sees it's a metal cover. "Do you think they remember us?"

"Wait! There's more holes over there!" Pinkie Pointed.

They all uncover the other holes and they get the same result, metal coverings. "No doubt, they remember us" Rarity says.

Then suddenly, they feel the ground rumbling, they feel it's stronger where they are standing. They take 6 steps back, then a steampunkish lift arises from the ground in the middle of all the other holes. The doors open and dozens of diamond dog guards steps out and surrounds them, pointing spears at them. "The pretty ponies have come back to mine for gems!" one of the dogs says.

"There's too many of them!" Twilight says.

"What will we do now?" Fluttershy feared.

Leo lowers one of their spears casually. "Excuse me, we're looking for a shiny red gem and a young girl named Sweetie Belle. So if you just kindly-

He's interrupted by the dog pointing his spear at Leo's neck.

Leo sighs. "We don't need our weapons for this, right guys?"

"Nope"

"Nah"

"I don't know-

"Just as I thought" Leo says. He executes a somersault, kicking the spear out of his grasp. The dog looks up at the spear in the air, then he looks back at Leo, only to see a fist coming at him, smashing his face in with teeth flying, his helmet coming off, sending him flying into a wall. The Mane 6 were surprised how powerful that punch was. Sypher cracks his neck, Trent cracks his knuckles with a grin and Rush gulps.

One of the dogs tries to stab Sypher, though he dodges it, grabs the dog's head and slams his face into the ground. Trent headbutts one in the face, then one dog grabs him from behind, then back headbutts him and throws him over his shoulder. Rush is trying his best not to attack any of them, trying to dodge and avoid every attack they throw at him, 2 dogs coming from left and right and he ducks, causing them to crash into each other. Rush crawls away only to look up to see a dog ready to impale him.

"What in the hay am ah'm doin'? Let me join the fun!" Applejack exclaimed as she jumps in and bucks the dog away from Rush into the air.

"That does look like fun!" Rainbow Dash says as she flies towards the airborne dog and bucks him to the ground.

Then the whole battle turns into a fight cloud.

"WHEEEE! Pinkie says as she jumps into the cloud.

Rush crawls over to the others watching. He then lies on his back, catching his breath.

The cloud gets even more intense with helmets armor and spears flying all over the place. Then the cloud deceases with all the diamond dogs knocked out.

"You guys get paid for doing stuff like this?! That's so awesome!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"Meh it gets mediocre sometimes" Trent said, brushing off the dirt from his shoulders.

"Mediocre?" Applejack questioned. "If's that mediocre, then ah aint Applejack!"

"That was so much fun! I've never been in a fight before! Except when I was a filly, I kept arguing with my sisters, but never a fight that involves hitting! Pinkie says, bouncing up and down.

They all head into the elevator. But there seems to be a problem...they can't figure out how to operate it. "Now what?" Sypher says annoyed.

"I've got it!" Trent says.

The other 3 angels were shocked that Trent had came up with an idea.

"What is it then?" Leo asked.

The most brilliant thing Trent can come up was the most epic idea of all...he hits it a couple of times and kicks it a few. "Well that's all I got"

"...I knew it was too good to be true" Sypher says as he knocks him upside the head.

"Ow!"

"Maybe one of these mutts know" Sypher says as he picks up one of the somewhat conscious dogs by the ears. "How do we use the lift?"

"W-where am I?"

"I said, how do we use the lift?"

"Please don't hurt me!"

"I will if you don't-

"Excuse me, Mr.Heinlen? Can I talk to him? If that's OK with you" Fluttershy nicely asked.

"Knock yourself out" he says as he drops the dog.

"It's OK" she says as she hugs the dog. "All you have to do is tell us how to use the lift, OK?"

The dog hands her a remote with gems for buttons.

"Thank you doggy" Then she instantly headbutts him, knocking him out. "yay"

The other ponies stare at Fluttershy's sudden aggressive force.

"I'm sorry, they were all doing the same thing, and I didn't want to feel left out"

"D'awww!" Leo and Rush says to each other.

They step back into the lift and Fluttershy hands the remote to Sypher. He presses the down arrow button and the lift shakes a little, then it descends into the ground.

"This cave is very different from last time" Rarity said.

"How?" Applejack responded.

"The walls are all glowy-like and...blue" She looks over the railing. "And...steeper"

"Leo?" Twilight finally spoke up.

"What up?" he responded.

"That stuff you did back there, is that what you really get paid for? Killing things?

"Huh?!" Leo said dumbfounded. He thought about it for a second. "I'll be brutally honest, sometimes yes and sometimes no. I don't like killing. I'll beat the living snot out of them. Like I said before, we get paid for rescues, assisting others and destroying things. We do have a wanted board, sorted by who needs to taken in and what needs to be taken out. For someone that needs to be taken in, Killing is optional, but it's a HUGE pay deduction. The only time we'll silence someone or something is when the matter gets more worse and devastating. Besides, we didn't kill those dogs. I would NEVER kill a dog, no matter how ugly it is"

"And that makes me respect you even more!" Rush exclaims as he hugs him. "Even though when I first met you I gave you my undying gratitude of respect!"

The others except Sypher, d'awww at Rush hugging Leo.

"Get off of me!" He growls at Rush.

The lift finally stops at the bottom of the cave and they all step out. Then suddenly, they hear a scream, it came from Rarity.

"What is it?!"

"All this dust and these pebbles are messing up my coat!"

"..."

"What?!"

They all resume walking towards the long narrow path that could be, where they hope, Sweetie Belle may be, as Sypher mumbles something that catches Rarity's attention.

"Excuse me, Mr.Heinlen?" she says suspiciously irritated.

"What?" he responds coldly.

"Is there anything you like to say to me?"

"Sure I'll say it again" He clears his throat. "You are such a drama queen"

She gasps. "Do you have anything against drama queens?"

"Well I hate drama, and I hate queens"

"Are you intending that you hate me?"

"No, I don't hate you. I haven't known you long enough to decide that"

"Well who are you to judge who to hate?"

"I don't need to answer that"

"Then if I'm such a drama queen, you're such a child"

"Child?" He pulls out a small canteen from his pocket and drinks it.

"What's in there?"

"Wine"

"Wine?! Aren't you a little young to be drinking?"

"I'm 21, I'm legal"

"If you're that age, then you shouldn't be this rude. Most ponies I've met at that age have positive manners!"

"Well I'm not a pony and if I was, I wouldn't have the manners you'll be looking for. What do you want from me?!"

"An apology, then I'll leave you alone"

He sighs "...sorry"

"You see? was that so hard? After all-

"You said you'll leave me alone"

'Why don't you like me?"

"I said I don't hate you" He walks on ahead from her.

"What does that mean?!"

Rush catches up to Rarity. "Um, that's how he is. That's as close as a compliment you'll get from him. Besides, when he says "I don't hate you", to him that usually means he likes you.

"Oh! Well I feel a little better. Thank you Mr. Skyheart"

"Why are you grumpy Mr. grumpy lumpy pants?" Pinkie says bouncing around him.

"Because I choose to be"

"Well I chose to be happy and full of sunshine!"

He stops her bouncing by grabbing her neck and placing her down gently. "Good for you"

"And you guys are friends with him?" Twilight questioned.

"Of course" Trent answered. "but he's not angry"

"How is he not angry? Just look at his face!"

"He's been angry for so long, he decided to keep that as his normal look. Also, there's 3 levels he has of his anger. Excluding him being calm of course, there's angry, mad and finally, pissed off. Pissed off is a level that you should really try not to push him towards"

"We'll keep that in mind" She says nervously.

They reach the end of the cave to discover a metal door.

"This has to be it" Rarity said.

One of them knocks on the door. Couple seconds later, a slider on the door opens, showing a small dog looking through. 'What is it?!"

'Hello" Leo says. "Do you have a young filly hostage?"

Long pause "No!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. There is nopony here named Sweetie Belle"

"Funny...I didn't say Sweetie Belle"

"..." He closes the slide door.

They hear voices on the other side.

"Who was that?"

"It's those ponies! and four tall things!"

"What did you tell them?"

"I told them there's no one here named Sweetie Belle"

"You fool! Well are they still here?"

"Let me check" He opens the slider door and he sees they are angry. He closes it again. "Yes there are!"

5 seconds pass.

"Check again"

He opens the slider and their even more angrier, then he closes it again and nods to the diamond dog.

5 more seconds pass.

"Check again!"

He opens the slider and now their terrifyingly more angrier and closes the slider.

"Check again!"

He opens the slider and gets poked in the eyes by fingers.

"My eyes!!"

Now the diamond dog hears voices from the other side.

"God, this is taking forever!" Sypher yells.

"Don't worry, I've got this" Trent says as he raises his foot.

Then suddenly he kicks the door, not busting it down, instead it leaves a small dent on the door.

"That's really sad" Sypher says shaking his head.

Applejack bucks down the door off the hinges flattening the diamond dog, Spot. They see Sweetie Belle shackled to the throne.

"Aww great, it's the white one!" The Diamond Dog leader, Rover said.

"Rarity!" Sweetie Belle exclaims.

"Thank goodness you're alright! Rarity exclaims as well.

"What purpose could you possibly have with a filly?" Twilight asked.

"We overheard this little pony is Rarity's sister. And that must mean she posses the same gem finding ability as she does. So we took her to find these gems for us" He holds up a red glowing gem.

"Wait! That's a glaia! Rush points out.

"The berserk gem!"Sypher shouts.

"Alright, hand over the kid and the gem and we won't kick your ass twice as hard!" Leo demanded.

"That sounds painful, but instead...FIDO...SPOT!"

Spot crawls from under the metal door and un-flattens himself and runs to the left and stands next to Rover. The 3rd Diamond Dog, Fido, drops from the giant hole in the ceiling that's the size of a tank and lands to the right of Rover. "Is it ready Fido?" "Yes" "Behold!" A giant yellow and brown object falls in front of the heroes and on top of the 3 diamond dogs, covering the room with rock dust and smoke. When the dust and smoke fades away, the room reveals a a giant robotic dog with 3 of the dogs in 3 separate tubes. Fido on the left shoulder, Spot on the right shoulder and Rover on the head. "The Dog Walker!!! We were planning on testing this thing on everfree forest, but you ponies and you tall freaks will do!"

The 4 angels reach out their arms and channels their energy though their weapons. Leo's giga blade (Fremere's Guard), Rush's red feathered sword (Red Wing), Trent's dual monkey king staffs (Gift of the Gods) and Sypher's dual pistols (Stainless M1911 sidearms).

"Sypher? I thought you went for blades" Leo asked.

"I did, then I got bored and enjoyed shooting stuff so I switched to these things"

"Alright then...Let's go ange-"

"Whoa! Weapons?! That won't be necessary boys. Let me handle this." Rarity says as she walks up to the robotic dog. In a whiny voice, "GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER, THAT'S AN UGLY COLOR FOR A ROBOT!"

"These whine-proof tubes work! You can tell because the black haired one is losing his mind! Now let's test out the flame thrower!" The dog's face comes close to breathe the fire, Sypher immediately jumps and grabs Rarity before she was burnt to a crisp, rolling over to the side.

"You saved me Sypher... you do like me"

"Shut up" Sypher drops her.

The dog walker raises it's paw and tries to slam the other 3 angels and they jump out of the way. Sypher fires multiple bullets at it's tail to weaken it but only manages to get 2 successful shots and gets smacked by the tail, sending him into a wall.

"Sypher!" Leo shouts.

"Keep your pants on Leo!" He falls off the wall and lands on his feet. "This thing needs to be put down"

Trent jumps into air with his pole to bash the tubes open but fails. The tubes are made of maxi-glass, causing Trent to shake from the impact. Rush dashes towards it, just to psyche it and run left to the back to cut off it's tail, but only chips it a little and jumps to dodges it's swing. Leo tries to cut it's legs off, but it jumps and tries to smash Leo into the ground with it's paw as Leo dodges it.

"HA! Is that all you-" He gets smacked by it's tail and goes flying into a wall. The machine picks him and brings him to the front of the face of the walker.

"Please! Just because you're some other species, doesn't make you any tougher than a diamond dog!" Rover taunted.

Twilight ponders for a moment. "Wait why are you guys trying so hard to cut off it's tail?"

"Do any of you have a dog?" Sypher asked.

"I do!" Applejack exclaimed "Her name's Winona. she'll lick the color off anypony new.

"Anyway what's what your point?"

"Have you ever noticed that a dog gets excited-"

"When they wag their tail! I see! I've got this!" Twilight says as her horn glows. She runs towards the tail and dodges it's swings, up and down. Just she was about to focus her energy on the tail, she gets smacked by a paw and recovers in the air and lands on her hooves. "Well that's not happening anytime soon"

"Wait! What's that blue thing on it's nose?" Fluttershy points out.

"I think that's what's keeping it together" Applejack said.

"I doubt that would be easy" Sypher says. "It's too damn quick"

"What we need is -

"A distraction!" Twilight realized. "You guys distract it while I charge up a spell to sustain it and give it all you guys got!"

And they did, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash did what they can to distract it. They said funny stuff, called it names and other tauntful stuff.

"I'VE GOT IT!" Twilight shouts as she uses her magic to sustain the giant robotic creature

"What's happening?!" Rover says. "Fido you said this thing was ready!"

"It was working fine this morning!" Fido says. "I can't control my side!"

"And I can't control mine's either! Spot says.

"That's our cue guys!" Leo exclaims.

Rush slices off the tail off, Sypher shoots the arm until it's weak and kicks the arm off from the body that held Leo and Trent sweeps it legs with his pole. Leo lands on the ground and stares at the dog walker's face.

"Go for the blue nose!" Pinkie shouted.

"Leo! Use your blade!"

"No...It's too easy" He drops his blade and clenches his right fist hard. "With the burning soul of my brother living inside my own, please give me strength!" He charges towards the blue nose with a shining fist and pounds the blue nose rapidly and finally ends it with a dramatic punch, that malfunctions the whole robot. The 3 diamond dogs opens the tubes and jumps out. The Dog Walker bursts in flames and explodes. Smoke filling the room and scrap metal flying everywhere.

"OUR MACHINE!!!!"

"Note to self: Never expose the core of a machine"

As the smoke fades away, Sypher spots the gem and picks it up. "Got it" he says as he grins.

"Sypher did you just smile?" Rush asked.

"No I grinned, big difference"

"Riiiiiiight" Leo says as he fixes his knuckle and picks up his blade and slashes off the chains Sweetie Belle had on her leg.

Rarity runs over to Sweetie Belle and hugs her. "Oh! Thank goodness nothing bad to you!"

The 4 angel's weapons fade away in their hands.

"These mean dogs made me dig for gems with no breaks" Sweetie Belle says still a little shaken.

"No breaks?!" Rarity shouts. " You run along with the others Sweetie, I have something that needs to be done" She turns to the diamond dogs.

"Sypher, are you coming or what" Trent questioned.

"No yet" He also turns to the 3 diamond dogs crawling away. "Where are you guys going?" He cracks his knuckles. "You guys smacked me with your robot's tail. So..."

"We're not done yet" Rarity says as her horn glows.

"We are sorry Rarity, I MEAN, miss Rarity! Uh...Tall guy! We are also sorry-

"Sorry or not, you're dead"

They corner them and as the others walk back to the lift and they hear punching, kicking and screaming.

(Author's Note) Chapter Epilogue coming. I know haven't put too much detail into some of the parts here. I'm going through some things right now. I welcome constructive criticism! Let me know any errors and I'll fix them!)

Chapter 1 - Epilogue

After the unnecessary punishment Sypher and Rarity gave to the Diamond Dogs, they drop by sweet apple acres and return Sweetie Belle to the other crusaders. They walk inside their house to see spike and Nia talking to each other. Spike turn to Twilight and hopped out of his chair fast like he tried to tell her something before someone else did.

“Hey spike! What’s up?” Twilight asked.

The little dragon handed out a scroll to her. “It’s the princess. I didn’t open it because it was urgent it says on the top”

She opens up the scroll and reads what it says “…….”

“Anything wrong?” Leo asked.

“This can’t be good, Princess Celestia needs to see us right now” She answered. “And you guys too Leo”

“Us…Now? …Where is she?”

“In Canterlot silly!” Pinkie responded popping up behind Trent’s back.

“You mean that castle in the mountains?” Sypher questioned. “How long is that?!”

“No time to explain! Come on everyone…Spike what’s wrong with your eyes?”

“What?! Nothing, allergies. Come on let’s not keep the princess waiting!”

As they left the house they hear the CMC from a decent enough distance for them to hear “Thank you guys!”

After a long train ride, they stop at Canterlot’s Train station. They all step out of the train and the 4 angels and Nia take a moment to gaze at the beauty of structure that is…Canterlot.

“Wow…”

“It’s Amazing”

“Yep! Canterlot” Twilight added. “Where all the high class ponies live”

“High Class?” Sypher asked.

“Yes, the most mannered, rich ponies live” Rarity takes a look at Sypher’s appearance. “um…some middle…lower class are acceptable I guess”

“What? I’m not high class?!”

“Never mind! Let’s go!” Twilight commanded.

They head off to the Castle to meet Celestia. After talking to the Royal Guards outside, they walk in and head straight towards the Princess’s throne room.

“…Well?” Applejack spoke up.

“What?” Leo responded.

“What do ya’ll think of this castle?”

“Oh! Uh…” Leo turns his head left and right and looks up and down of his surroundings. “it’s nice welcoming. Why?”

“Ah’d figured if ya’ll enjoyed what Canterlot looks like, you’d be amazed what the castle is like”

“It’s just that we’ve been in castles a lot before. we’ve gotten used to it”

“Although it feels good that this is a castle that we didn’t have to fight our way in” Rush added.

“Except Rush”

They reach the end of the royal looking hallway and opens the doors that reveals 2 stairways leading to the princess’s throne room. When they walk in, they see the sun goddess walking down the left stairs, meeting them half way.

“Princess!” Twilight happily exclaimed.

“I’m glad you got my letter. There is something we need to discuss”

“What is it princess?”

“…Rush Skyheart, Leopald Howard, Trent Broker and Sypher Heinlein. I’ve spoken with Ms.Wrightfield. This quest is something that cannot be done by just the 4 of you. You’ll have the aid of the Elements of Harmony by your side, but it won’t be enough”

Rainbow Dash scoffs. “Not enough? We’re the elements of harmony! And you should’ve seen these guys kick those Diamond Dog’s tail! They were like-“

“Please don’t reenact it, We’ll be here all night”

“Hold on, Ms,Wrightfield will explain more. She had me record a message” Her horn glows an yellow aura and it projects a holographic image of Commander Wrightfield in the middle of the room.

“Boys, if you’re hearing this, then you’re not complete morons. Considering you almost never listen to me in general”

The angels got irritated hearing that remark.

“There’s been a change of conditions for this mission. First off, I should warn you that you’re not alone in this glaia hunt. There’ll be others claiming them for their own purpose, mostly anti-angels”

“Anti-Angels?” Twilight questioned.

“And I’ve heard reports that there’s a military force involved out there, I’ll inform you more when I gain further Knowledge about them. So to increase your chances of successfully completing this mission, I’ll be sending you more angels as things may get too rough. Your first angel will arrive tomorrow, Shenki Hotaru”

“Aw crap not him” Leo thought.

“And finally, you will remain in Equestria until the Job is done”

“What?!”

“Are you serious?!”

“But this will take forever!”

“I’ll see you when Celestia informs me on your Progress. Wrightfield out”

Celestia‘s horn stops projecting the image as the holographic Wrightfield slowly fades away.

“Yay! This is gonna be great! Other than just finding candy-looking gems, we’ll have lots of fun! Parties,Cakes,Cupcakes,Candy,Parties,Cupcakes,Candy…did I mention Parties?” Pinkie pie says with lots of excitement, bouncing up and down.

Then all of a sudden they a feel a calm presence coming from Sypher. They turn to him to see him looking down. …he starts to chuckle and then he laughs hysterically. He stops and looks at everyone. “Ok ok ok, I see what’s going on here, I got drunk again and passed out somewhere at the academy. That’s real dumb of me. But I gotta say, this dream I’m having, it’s so vivid! Talking colorful horses, ponies or whatever. It’s cute, but I think that’s enough. Now I’m going to pinch myself and I’m going to wake up in the bar or in our dorm” And he did. He pinches his arm…then again but much harder. Then he pinches his cheeks………..everything around him fades to black as a light shines on him. “I’m not waking up? Am I dead? No, in fact, I don’t remember drinking last night….so this is……real? You mean like…” A big bold word that says “Reality” slowly scrolls across his eyes. “……..huh” Everything reappears in his sight and he takes a deep breath. “…………….ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?” He furiously shouts In rage with his eyes white and fiery “IF YOU THINK I’M GONNA TAKE ANOTHER MINUTE HERE IN GODDAMN TECHNOCLOR LAND, THEN THAT BITCH HAS ANOTHER THING COMING!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST WAIT UNTIL I GET MY HANDS ON HER!!!!!!!!!!!” He storms out of the room with floor rumbling footsteps and as he walks away, they hear him cursing more words.

The 3 angels weren’t really stunned by that performance due to the fact that they’ve seen him like that before. But the mane 6, Nia and Spike huddle together scared stiffless.

“Did I mention he has anger issues?” Leo brought up.

“Is he going to be ok?” Celestia asked. She didn’t show any signs of fear either.

“Yeah He’ll be fine” Trent answered. “He’s going to blow off some steam”

“GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!!!”

They hear a scream coming from one of the guards.

“A lot of steam”

The mane 6, Spike and Nia unhuddle knowing that Sypher is no longer in their sights.

“So Leo, *ahem* is there anything you learned today?” Twilight asked.

"About what?"

“About friendship of course”

“Oh yeah my report on friendship you said earlier. Um well…I didn’t learn anything really”

“Me nither” Rush said.

“Not me either” Trent added.

“Oh wait Twilight, Didn’t you learn something today?”

“Oh yeah! I have something to write!”

Twilight gets out her blank scroll and quill "Oh silly me! You're right there Princess!"

Princess Celestia,

I learned...

TO NEVER…EVER get on Sypher’s bad side.

“DO YOU HEAR ME WRIGHTFIELD?!?!?! I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!!! I SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!“ Sypher screams outside of the castle into the air at the night sky.

Chapter 2 - 1 "Getting to know each other" Part 2

Prologue

Shenki Hotaru…

I don’t like this guy. Every time I screw up around him, he points out every annoying detail about what I did wrong like a snooty know-it-all, though it gets a chuckle out of Sypher once in a while. His means of defense is using tonfas that he can extend on his will. I thought it was silly when he boasted about them, but when I saw him in action, I was so wrong. Anyway I was a little pissed to find out at the last minute that we had to stay here in Equestria until we find all the glaia gems, Sypher…um…didn’t take it too well either. Let’s just say it took about a dozen of the Princess’s guards to restrain him. Thanks again Celestia. Any longer and he would’ve wreck the castle with his bare hands instead with bullets. Anyway these glaias are not going to be easy to find, we got lucky last time. This is going to take forever. Well I gotta look at the positive of this. All the citizens in this world are nicer than the people in our world…well sort of, Those Diamond Dogs weren’t too friendly, and one of Celestia’s guards weren’t patient with Sypher, And that green pony was WAYYYY too friendly. And the main 6 (that’s what they call them I hear) gave us a place to stay. *Sighs* this ought be interesting…

~Sweet Apple Acres~

Celesta’s sun arises from the horizon as it shines through the farm’s windows for as Leopald inside is sleeping on a giant haystack, snoring mildly enough to annoy the pigs outside the farm. A big red colt enters the farm and sees him sleeping. He walks over and nudges him. “Uhh…mister?”

“Silver…” he mumbles in his sleep.

“Mister?”

“…Silver?” He says as he rolls over and slowly opens his eyes seeing the red colt in his blurry vision. “Why are you red?” he falls off the haystack and lands on his face. He fully wakes up and sees the big red colt. “Oh hey, Big Macintosh isn’t it?”

“Eeyup” He responded as he helps him up. “It’s time for breakfast”

“Breakfast?” He looks at his watch. “It’s 6:00”

“We like to get up early to get som’ of the farm work done on a good start and finish as much as we can later”

Leo just sat there trying to process what he just heard. “So you guys…work ALL day…EVERY day?”

“Well actually…we’ll talk more over breakfast”

When they head inside the house, Leo’s nose smelled something he hasn’t smelled in days.

“Pancakes are done!” Granny Smith says as she brings the plate over to the table where Applejack and Apple bloom are sitting, Leo’s mouth slowly melts as he sits down waiting for his plate. Granny Smith passes out a plate for all of them, Applejack, Apple Bloom, Big Macintosh and Leo…with nothing on the plate for him.

“Um…I don’t have any…ma’am”

“Yes you do, the plate! You can eat that because you monsters devour everything you come across!”

“Grandma! For the last time, he ain’t a dragon!” Applejack says in frustration. “And not all dragons are like that!”

The elderly pony stood there for a moment “…Like what?”

Applejack facehooves about the matter. She looks at Leo and sees he looks like he’s about to pass out, he hasn’t eaten anything since he arrived in Ponyville. Before he even began to think about letting his eye lids close, he sees a plate being pushed towards him. He looks up and sees it was Applejack that offered him her pancakes. “No that’s OK Applejack”

“Com’ on partner, everypony…everybody’s gotta eat”

“Well aren’t you gonna eat?”

“Pfft! We live on an Apple Farm! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. But I do reckon it’s good to eat other things instead of a fruit. Besides it’s the least I can do for savin’ mah sister’s friend”

He smiles as he accepts her gift of pancakes. Before he dug in he just realized something…he needs a knife and a fork. Before he can even ask for silverware he quickly looks around and sees the others eating without a fork or a knife. He just shrugs and does the same thing.

“So mister, do you always wear clothes?” Apple bloom asks as she sets down her plate.

Leo puts his plate down in confusion. “Of course I do. Other wise I’d be nude”

“Well we pony folk don’t normally wear clothes dragon boy and are we naked?” Granny Smith questions.

“I don’t think I should answer that question ma’am” Leo answered as he blushes.

“Let’s change the subject!” Big Macintosh insisted.

“Leo, are all humans as strong as you are?” Applejack asks.

“No not all humans are powerful, There are normal ones, that lives normal lives. Ones like me and the guys are trained, gifted or even blessed.

“Which one are you?”

“…” Leo looks back into his mind of the past time he had that painful memory of his brother’s death and rushing images of a man in a white garb reaching his hand out to his arm and never letting go, screaming in intense pain that not even laughing gas could help . The images keep coming as he sees some of His brother’s body removed from where he originally died. “Chris?!” Leo snaps out of it. “That’s what I’m still trying to figure out”

“But yesterday, you look like you were born with all that fighting you did”

“Nah, I wouldn’t say that, though I was taught about the means of defense by Ms.Wrightfield. She taught me the basics, and there’s still more to learn from her, but that’s gonna have wait to because she had a change of plans all of a sudden.

“You’re still upset about that?”

“No I’ve gotten over it”

“Cause ya know, ah think it’s kinda nice to have ya’ll hang here with us on your jewelry hunt or whatever you call them things”

“Heh, thanks. I’m just worried how Sypher’s still holding up about it”

~Carousel Boutique~

Sypher is sitting in the living room on a couch across from Rarity and Sweetie Belle are as they feel very awkward about him just quietly sitting there, laid back, eyes shut and not giving a care in the world, Especially after what how he behaved yesterday.

“So…Sypher did you sleep well?” Rarity nervously asked.

“…”

“Did you enjoy the breakfast I made you?”

“…eh”

“Come now Mr.Heinlen, don’t be so bashful about this. Let’s try to have a lively conversation”

“…Do you have any wine?”

“Not at the moment I apologize”

“I have nothing to talk about”

“This is the guy who saved you?” Sweetie Belle questioned. “Isn’t he supposed to be one of those romantic guys who save the woman and fall in love like in the novels?”

“…kid I think you read too many of those sappy lovey dovey bullcrap”

“No I don’t! That’s why Rarity reads them”

“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity yells as she blushes. “Don’t listen to her, I read books that men your age reads, like…uh The Catcher in the Rye, The Perks of being a Wallflower and-“

Sypher raises an eyebrow and opens his visible eye “Excuse me lady but uh…are you assuming that I’m…emo?

“Well I mean you’re-“

“Let’s get something straight, I may not be a happy camper and my bangs may cover half an entire eye, but if you think that I read nothing but books with an abstract imagination, and acknowledge that I’m emo, then” he air quotes. “Rarity", we have a problem”

Rarity jumps from her chair in anger as she’s about to punch him. “Excuse me! Just because I gave you a roof to sleep under and food to offer, Hoofmade mind you, doesn’t give you the right to come in MY home and threaten me! You might as well just walk out that door!”

And Sypher does that. He casually gets up and heads for the door. “Whatever”

"This gentleman needs to learn some manners"

“Rarity he just needs something to uppen his day, like that wine stuff you have in your cabinet” Sweetie Belle says as Rarity covers her mouth in no hesitation after she hears her say “cabinet”, which causes Sypher to stops dead in his tracks and turns and looks at Rarity with a cold glare from his pale, crystal blue eyes.

“You said…you don’t have any at the moment, which means you don’t have any…anywhere in this boutique. Now I don’t give a damn about people lying, but when you tell me you don’t have any alcohol but you do…” He reaches out his hand and emits a green feathery aura and his white pistol appears in his grasp. “I need to shoot something”

Rarity's horn glows. "I don't like that icky fighting you boys do, but when you come between me and my wine, then there will be a problem Mr. Heinlen. That's only for when I'm depressed"

“I’m depressed! Until we find those freaking glaia gems, I’m stuck in this world with talking colorful horses!”

“Horses? HORSES?! IT…IS…ON!

Outside the boutique, Twilight Sparkle trots towards her door and knocks, “Rarity? Sypher?” She then hears glass being smashed and multiple gunshots. “What in the world?” She opens the door and sees the entire place is wrecked and sees Rarity levitating knives aimed at Sypher as the hot headed gunner has his gun aimed at her. They both turn to Twilight. “What?/Yes dear?” they both said surprisingly calm.

Twilight’s eyes become beady. “Uh…there’s a meeting at my house in a half hour, be sure to come” She says as she slowly walks back out the door and trots away. Sweetie Belle slowly arises from the bullet hosed couch. “Did you guys make up yet?”

Sypher’s gun fades away and Rarity puts the knives back where they came from.

“Just because I’m a student under a Justice guild, doesn’t mean I have to follow all the rules, and “Do not harm your allies and civilians” is a rule I’m having a very hard time following right now”

“And just because I’m the element of generosity, doesn’t mean I have to offer alcohol to ponies…or people if it’s private, especially when alcohol can make you worse than you already are”

“Hey I asked you, I didn’t force you. Besides you’d be surprised what that stuff does for me” He walks out the door. “Oh yeah, here’s your compliment for the month, thanks for the breakfast” He heads for Twilight’s Tree house”

Rarity feels like she wants to say something back to him, but something else stopped her from doing so. It was something that most beings would have but not at an awkward moment like this, she felt …sympathy. "It's one of those days I'm sure"
