Another day in Equestria. Equines line up for food as the humans just go to the fancy restaurants. The battles against rebels were one-sided. None could stand before the so called “Red Menace”. Worse was the Spetsnaz Forces. The so called “Stalin’s Fist” was not a force to be reckoned with. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, the Element Bearers and the other leaders of Equis are now gone. Entire species were annihilated from the face of the planet. It now was the Great Equine Depression
A Spetsnaz Squad of 24 soldiers enter a small military base. Along with them was Captain Borislav. Their mission was to temporarily support Lieutenant Antonov’s company until reinforcements can arrive. They are the only Light Trooper Unit fast enough to get there.
“Welcome Comrade Borislav, to Camp 21.” Antonov said with a grin.”First, let me show you map. Also, i was not expecting such small group." He added.The map showed the fact that this site was of high value. The high ground nearly all covered with the military base. Good positioning of guns and sniper and machine gun towers allowed high fire from all sides.
"So Comrade Antonov, what attack force size and quality we are expecting?" The captain questioned. "Comrade, we have info that Militia, but their size is estimated to be at least three companies. Also, an informant said that they have no tactics whatsoever." Antonov and Borislav had already put both their men in the defensive positions. Hopefully this will work right well for the Soviets, probably likely yes.
The attack started earlier than the expected time. Nevertheless the Russians used the suppressing fire and the o'l spray n' pray tactics and wiped them all out. Both the officers knew that was just another mass numbers attack, which fails every time.
As the reinforcements have arrived, another job was well done by Borislav and his troops. Bidding good bye to the units they would leave for now, they received new orders, this time from someone in the Soviet High Command. The commander's name was highly classified and only some special persons, KGB agents, and high ranking government officials knew him.
The job was not going to be easy: Grab a important intelligence containing the central location of the leaders of the combined rebellion group. The catch, however that they were given high first class weapons and armor today.
"Okay Comrades, we must secure intel in enemy base. We are the support group and tasked to protect the main attackers."
Borislav ordered. Blood Master 1, 2, and 3 are counting on us to provide them best support we can give." "Roger, commander." they answered.
The 1st phase of the battle commenced. With the soldiers facing former Solar and Lunar Guards it was not easy to get the job done, but with heavy fire support, the soldiers breezed in and massacred the rebels and former Guards. It was up unitl the met the combined former special forces that operated during the Great War of Equis. Borislav took with him some men and began rushing the defense line. "COMRADES! LET'S SHOW THESE EQUINES THE BEST!" Borislav yelled out, blowing off every head he saw as the enemy. It ended badly for the equines as they tried retreating to regroup for a counter-attack, only to be annihilated by the Spetzsnaz
"Thanks Comrade Borislav, we could have not done it without you." Colonel Dmitri said.
"Anyways, you want to know who made the mission?. It was General Adrian. He was going to move intel to KGB when a rebel group attacked them. Unprepared, they did not stand a chance. Only some KGB officials, and his co-workers knew incident. This thing is highly classified.Also, do not worry, Adrian's KGB pals will remove any evidence of this happening." Dmitri whispered to the surprised officer's ear. Borislav knew that once the incident was reported to Stalin, Adrian and other people involved including him, will be punished. He decided not to worry, as he found out the trusted KGB officers destroyed any info about this happening.
Knowing a good place to settle down, Borislav decided to take leave for a while, thankfully no one was suspicious that he took leave. Most of the time he saw New Moscow, the former Canterlot, as a city where people can relax. His men also took their own separate vacations. Talking to his old friends, going for a mini golf, and going to the malls.
After his vacation, he went to look at his memos. It contained nothing out of the usual. taking a entire bottle of vodka, as usual it was a 10 out of 10 experience. looking at the next mission details, he noticed that the mission will take place in New Moscow. It was a clandestine op. however it was instructed somehow by Stalin himself. It was on the small side of the city.
It was unfinished and there will be a cleaning op there which will force out the remaining equines and will be a human only city for the Soviets.
Now on the mission, Borislav and his men were attacking the target. After getting him, they imminently left the place. However they were taken by surprise by the equines, but their element of surprise was not enough to put down a Spetsnaz soldier. Back on the office, Borislav had recieved a memo congratulating him on the mission. He was informed that a info leak due to a unicorn breaking in and relaying info on the enemy rebels very, very instantly. He was sorry for the fact that Borislav nearly lost some good men out there. The best news was the fact that he was invited to a gala and a dinner with the High Soviet Command, and, better, with Stalin himself. Borislav was astounded. He never was given a invitation like this with the other officers.
Attending the gala, Borislav had entered the dining room. Taking a seat, he began waiting for the guest. The arrival of Stalin himself signalled the start of the feast. After the feast, he caught eye of Borislav, who tried to avoid talking due to his nervousness. "So Comrade, you must be Borislav. Iv'e heard a lot of you. Sit, i insist." Stalin told him "How did last operation go for you?" "Comrade Stalin, it is a honour to personally talk to you. Aside from fact that there was breach of info on my last op, me and my team still survived." Borislav had nervously answered, trying to hide it from his glorious leader. "I may now commend you now with the first ever, Hero of the Motherland, here on Equis." Borislav himself was shocked. "Thank you glorious leader, for this gift you will give." Borislav said with a bow.
