Sunset, working on a school assignment one evening and dealing with the dilemmas of her endearing friends, receives a visitor with hazel eyes and a wry gold grin. Surprise surprise, Stardust Balance has done something to upset the pony Twilight again, and as such seeks refuge at a friend's place while the Princess calms down. A one-time chance, as Sunset quickly discovers, to confess something the human-turned-mare always hesitated expressing towards the taken man.

Of course, things escalate faster than Sunset could've predicted from acting out of instinct alone. But this time, she'll accept the consequences of her actions tonight, for they feel incredibly worth it for him. For them both.
