Chapter 1

As the cold wind sped up, rain started falling down from the sky, ponies ran around in a panic, because a few punk pegasi from cloudsdale caused unscheduled rain to downpour on the ponyville annual summer picnic. Suddenly, a giant explosion of confetti destroyed the rainclouds, and killed the pegasi. Squirts of blood rained down and a tall form emerged from the cloud of dust left behind by the explosion. The citizens recognized his face and ran as fast as they could to escape the ancient evil known as Discord. The Elements of harmony, who now keep the necklaces and crown close on hoof, prepared to battle the draconequus, who merely snapped his fingers and another figure, this one more pony-shaped, emerged from a dark green portal. The 6 elements of harmony immediately recognized her and gasped. It was queen chrysalis! "Have you met my friend, ladies?" Discord said with a chuckle, "I believe you defeated her in the past, did you not? Well, we're back!" The six elements just stared in shock, much to Discord's enjoyment. As if on cue, the two princesses, luna and celestia, arrived by carriage. A dark portal emerged, and Discord and Chrysalis jumped into it. A voice then boomed from inside it, "Ah, so the elements and the princesses, powerful forces when united, nothing when split apart!" And with that last statement, a hand shot out of it and pulled Luna inside, then closed.

"If ah may," Applejack said with her hat down over her eyes, "Ah think we'd be better off with a few more members of our little team, we'd best be goin' and recruitin' some more ponies to beat these no-good creeps." Pinkie pie was the next one to speak, " I know, I'll ask Derpy Hooves! She always wants to help!" Twilight was next, " I could ask the Flim-Flam brothers, their machine moves so slow, they're only about a mile from town!" Then Rainbow Dash piped up, " I'll ask scootaloo and her two little friends!" Then a shadowy figure in a familiar suit flew down and looked at them through a mask. "I thought I'd never see that costume again." Rainbow Dash said quietly, " Who's in that mare do well costume anyway?" The costumed mare remained silent. Then, Pinkie, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash went off to recruit more members of their team, leaving Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and The new Mare Do Well to pack supplies.
