Chapters Discord Kidnaps John De Lancie
A few minutes later, Tara, Andrea, Ashley, and Tabitha fall into Equestria and soon see that they're in their ponysonas. "Okay," says Tara after coming to her senses, "let's find John. Where would Discord take him?"
"The chaos dimension most likely," responds Andrea. She then calls out. "Discord!" she hollers again. "Discord."
A few minutes later, Discord pops where they are. "Oh hey ladies," says Discord with a grin. "What can I do for you today? Chocolate milk rain? Radioactive sheep? Mop hair cows? A three-headed chicken?"
"How about return John to us and let us take him back to the human world," responds Tara with a scowl.
"Uh, oh that, that is something I cannot do," responds Discord rubbing his neck.
"I demand you do it," responds Andrea.
"Oh fine," responds Discord, "now that I think about it. Ever since I kidnapped John, I don't feel like my whole self. How do I fix that?"
"Maybe return him to us," responds Andrea.
"Oh fine," responds Discord. He then snaps his fingers and drops John onto the ground with a thud once again. "Remember," says Discord as he turns to John, "do me justice when you voice me."
"I...I will," responds John.
A few minutes later, John goes with Tara and the others to the mirror and they jump back to present day where they start on the brand new Discord episode. "I'm glad to be back," says John with a smile, "now let's get this Discord episode rolling."
Meanwhile, back in the chaos dimension, Discord lets loose his flying pet pig and watches it with a smile. "I can feel it already," chuckles Discord, "Johnny boy is finally doing me some justice. He's made me goofier and more over the top and I love it!" He then pops himself a big singing lollipop and begins to suck on it as it continues to sing within his mouth.
Meanwhile, back at the studio, Discord and the others wrap up on the Discord episode and then go out for ice cream together to celebrate John's return from the chaos dimension. As they enjoy their ice cream cones, John tells them absolutely everything. "It was wild," says John, "it was weird. I thought I was tripping at first, but soon I realized I wasn't. I was kidnapped by the character I played, the ham himself, Discord. It was weird being held captive in the chaos dimension. Time was nonexistence, so were years, hours, months, days, minutes. There were flying pigs everywhere. I even saw Screwball fly by at one point. I can hardly comprehend it all, to be honest."
"Well, we're just glad you're okay," responds Tabitha with a smile.
"Yeah, me too," responds John. "Have you girls had to deal with this before?"
"Yeah," sighs Tara, "we have. We had to do this same thing when Discord kidnapped Lauren Faust and Meghan McCarthy and MA Larson. It's just a normal Tuesday for us pretty much."
"Man," responds John. "That...that's rough."
"Yeah," responds Tara, "we don't mind. We're just doing our job."
"Well, hopefully, Discord doesn't plan on kidnapping me again anytime soon," responds John. "I just need a few days to myself to comprehend all of this. I'll see y'all Thursday." John then gets up and heads back home with a snap of his fingers.
"Well, I'm just glad he's okay," sighs Tara. "Now, let's give him some space. He has a lot to take in. Movie?" The others nod and they then all head to the movie theater and enjoy a nice showing of the newest chick flick laughing and smiling all the while.
Discord Kidnaps John De Lancie
A few days later, John de Lancie returns to the studio and is greeted in a great big group hug from Tara, Ashley, Tabitha, and Andrea. "Hey," says John with a smile, "I'm glad to be back."
"And we're glad you're back too," respond the four women in unison.
A few minutes later, after some nice cups of steaming hot coffee, the five go in with Cathy and begin to record their lines for the day. As they record their lines, a smile appears on John's face. He's glad Discord hasn't kidnapped him again and hopefully, Discord won't in the future. Hopefully, Discord learned his lesson that he needs his voice actor as much as his actual physical being to exist. A few minutes into the recording, however, John spaces out and the girls have to snap him back to. "John, John," says Tara, "snap back to reality." John then shakes his head.
"Oh, sorry," responds John. "I was just thinking about Discord."
"Yeah," responds Tara, "do you think you are really ready to be back in the studio?"
"What? Yes!" responds John. "I'm ready to be back."
"Okay," responds Tara. "Just try to stay focused, John. I'm worried about you."
"Thanks for your concern, Tara," responds John, "I'll let you know if I need anything. Can we just get back to recording now?" Tara nods and the two get back to recording their lines. After two or three hours go by, they finish recording all their lines and John returns to his home where he zonks out on his couch and takes a five-hour long nap once again. He is still not quite over the whole Discord shake-up, but hopefully, he'll be over it soon enough. He and the others will just have to wait and see.
Discord Kidnaps John De Lancie
It was just a normal day for John. Go to work for My Little Pony, voice his character, and leave. Well, at least, that's what he thought. As he walked into say his lines for the day, Discord came through the mirror and dragged him into Equestria by his legs. "Wha! What are you doing? I voice you!" says John madly.
"You don't do me the justice I deserve, I need to be more over the top," responds Discord with a massive, sly grin on his face. "I need more spunk and more things to do for kicks. That's where you come in."
"Okay, I will make you more over the top," responds John.
"Good, good," responds Discord. "I also need to be goofier." He then snaps his fingers and Goofy falls from the sky.
"Okay," groans John as he rolls his eyes. "Anything else?"
A few minutes later, John goes thud on the ground in Equestria. Discord then snaps his fingers and takes the both of them to the chaos realm, his home sweet home. Once there, John climbs onto the couch and into a corner. "I can't believe this is happening. Not today. Not today. Today is the worst day of all days for this to be happening."
"Oh shut it," says Discord with a snap at his voice actor. "Do your best version of me?"
John then pulls it together and does his best Discord. "I am Discord! I am the King of Chaos! Master of Manipulation! The card of all cards! The jack of all jokes! I'm the Reference Lord."
"Good, good," responds Discord. "It needs to be more over the top than that but we're getting there."
Meanwhile, back at the studio, Tara, Tabitha, Ashley, and Andrea look high and low for John de Lancie. "John! John! Where are you, John!" The girls holler. "John! Come out wherever you are. We get you play a jokester but this isn't funny! You're scaring us, John. Where are you?"
A few minutes later, the two notice the mirror in the corner. "Why is there a reflection of John's face on the opposite side of the mirror?" asks Tara.
"Discord got out again, I take it," responds Ashley as she facepalms her head. "And this time he kidnapped John because of course, she did."
"Well, we need to get him back," responds Tara with a smile. "Who knows what Discord is doing to him?"
"I agree," responds Andrea. "Time to go into the mirror after him. Joy..."
Discord Kidnaps John De Lancie
A few hours later, back at his house, John falls fast asleep on his couch after a long few days of being in the captivity of his character. As he sleeps, he can't help but think about how much Discord shook his nerves and screwed his mind. He ends up sleeping straight through until 5:00 the next morning when he wakes up with a throbbing headache. He then gets up and gets a cup of coffee, doing a fun Discord chuckle as he makes his toast. He then goes and sits down after his toast pops out of the toaster. As he enjoys his breakfast, John continues to think about Discord and Discord alone. "Why? Why did Discord seem to talk without me yet with me at the same time whenever I did him in that world? How? How is that possible?" He scratches his beard.
An hour later, he gets a knock on his door and opens it to find Tara Strong standing there. "Oh, hey Tara, how's it going? Wanna come in for some coffee?"
"Sure," responds Tara as she enters his home. "Nice place you got here John."
"Thanks," he responds as he pours her a glass of coffee. "Do you like sugar or creamer in your coffee?"
"A little bit of creamer, thanks," responds Tara with a smile. John pours some cream into the cup of coffee and brings it over to her and hands it to her. The two then begin to talk as they drink their coffee together.
"So," says John after awhile, "why would Discord want to kidnap me anyways? Why could I still talk for him when he kidnapped me? Why could he talk without me at the same time? It's all so weird to me. So hard. for me to understand."
"Several reasons," responds Tara, "our characters are extensions of ourselves, yes, but they're also individuals with their own ways, thoughts, and actions."
"That makes sense," responds John with a shrug. "I'm still pretty shaken by it all. That's for sure."
"That's understandable," responds Tara. "Well, do you think you'll be okay and up for doing your lines again on Thursday?"
"Yeah, I'll be fine," responds John.
"Oh good," responds Tara, "just remember, I and the others are always here for you, John."
"I will, thanks," responds John with a smile peeping across his face. He then stands up and Tara does the same and the two share a hug before Tara leaves his place and returns to the studio where she meets up with the others. There, the girls have a prayer circle for John. After all, they're still concerned for him after the whole Discord thing. All they can do now is hope he'll be okay enough to come into line recordings on Thursday. That's all they can really do for now. Right now, however, it's time for them to go off and have some fun together for a little while.
