Chapters Elements of Heroism: Season 6
Burst Stream sighed as he drew lines on the moon with his Duelist Arm. The aether blade he'd dubbed Bahamut Aether. "Now I now how Luna and Nightmare Moon felt all alone up here. No wonder they said the two of them went mad! There's nothing but rocks!" Burst frowned at the chains made of harmony magic chaining him to the moon. "It's not like I could just swing my sword and be-" Burst stopped when he saw that he'd cut through one of the chains of harmony magic. "Well in that case, screw waiting around for a thousand years!" Burst then looked to the planet below. "Now. To plan my entrance juuust right..."
At the same time, the princesses held a meeting discuss Burst's absence with the Main 6 and the Elements of Heroism. "And since he is not among us, I move that I be made leader of the Elements of Heroism." Blitz Surge said with a confident smirk.
Inferno scowled. "Sorry, but no. Burst set up a chain of command for if he ever was taken out of commission. And according to that chain, I'm the one who takes up the mantle of leader. Plus from what we've seen of you? You were never a part of this team. You never joined, and you're certainly not a team player due to how you were grandstanding back with the bugbear."
"Let's not forget how reckless he was in fighting that thing." Ace noted. "People could've gotten hurt with how careless you were in attacking. And quite frankly, your willingness to let collateral damage occur is very disturbing!"
Blitz was outraged! "But I am Burst Stream's brother! I would know better than anyone he'd want a powerful successor to lead in his absence!"
"Don't flatter yourself." Nightmare Moon said coldly. "You don't even come close to Burst Stream. He wasn't the leader of the Elements of Heroism because he was the strongest. He became the leader because he trusted his team. He believed in others and pushed them to do their best. Counting on them as much as they did him. And he certainly didn't have glory on the mind like you. I've seen your dreams."
"Moon!" Luna snapped! "Why can't you just let it go? Burst being banished to the moon was an honest mistake!"
"Don't tell me you actually believe that!" Moon growled! "You and I know all too well what it's like up there! It's a fate we wouldn't wish upon anyone! And now? The one Celestia and love was condemned to that same fate!"
"Wouldn't be too sure about that." A voice called out as the doors were thrown open! Burst Stream slowly stepped into the meeting room. Soon teleporting right up to Blitz's face! "GUESS WHO'S BACK FOR ROUND 2 ASSHOLE?"
Blitz was frozen in place. "Oh...brother! You've returned! How wonderful-" Blitz was slapped across the face and right into the ground.
"Don't give me any of that crap." Burst Stream spat as he stared at Blitz slowly getting to his feet.
Luna stepped in front of Blitz to defend him! "Burst! Cease this at once! What Blitz did to you was indeed awful, but it was an accident!"
"An accident?" Burst said coldly. He glared furiously at Blitz Surge. "Is that what you told her? As if!" Burst picked up Blitz, and ripped his shirt off! Revealing the scar Bahamut Aether had left from when he'd been banished! Burst then looked to Luna. An apologetic look in his eyes. "Maybe he's not a good a man as he led you to believe he was."
Luna was heartbroken. "Why...why?!"
"Luna...you and I are the same. Both eclipsed by siblings who are loved more than we are. I did this all for you!" Blitz proclaimed! "With you and I joined, we could rule over the kingdom as the main rulers! You would finally have everything you wanted so long ago!"
Applejack frowned. "He's lyin'. Princess Luna, he was using you just to get more fame. Ah'd say he was banking on your popularity. He doesn't care about you."
"Blitz." Burst said flatly as he pointed one of his blasters right in Blitz's face! "What you've done is unforgiveable. You deserve to die. And I really want to be the one to do you in. But not yet." Burst lowered his blaster. "Not here. You said there can be only one Son of Aether. So we're gonna settle this with one final fight. We'll be fighting at the Castle of the Two Sisters. No better place to settle the score than a place known for sibling rivalry. You've got three days. Just you and me. One on one. If you've got even an ounce of pride or honor, you'll show up. Now." Burst leaned into Blitz's face. "GET. OUT."
"This isn't over!" Blitz snarled. "Next time, one of us will be a dead man!" And with that, Blitz teleported away!
Burst stared at the spot where Blitz had teleported away. "I already see one..."
Elements of Heroism: Season 6
And so, the day of the final duel dawned. Burst inspected his Duelist Arms after suiting up in his signature outfit. "Today's the day that it all ends." Burst equipped himself, and left through the door.
"And so it ends as it should." Blitz said to himself as he sharpened the edge of his katana. "The Sons of Aether locked in mortal combat. A final duel to determine who the TRUE son is!" Blitz slowly stood, and turned to face Burst Stream.
Burst ignited Bahamut Aether. "One shall stand...."
Blitz unsheathed his katana, and crouched into a fighting stance. "One shall fall..."

All of season 5's built up to this. The final clash between these "brothers." Things are gonna get real nasty.
Elements of Heroism: Season 6
Both Burst and Blitz stood completely still in their stances. Waiting for the other to move even the slightest bit. And with one shifting of a foot, the battle was begun! Sparks flew as their blades clashed! Blitz's eyes screamed no mercy! Burst's eyes declared no surrender! Burst broke off their clashing blades, and fired shots from one of his blasters! Blitz teleporting out of the way to avoid getting hit, and reappearing in front of Burst!
"And so...IT ENDS!" Blitz screamed as he stabbed Burst right in the gut! Burst fell to the floor on his back, and Blitz laughed in trimph. "HA HA HA HA HA! YES! NOW I'M THE ONLY ONE! I'M THE HERO NOW! ME! DO YOU SEE NOW WORLD?! HOW IS MY PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A BROTHER WORTHY? HE FELL SO EASILY!"
Burst smirked. "Funny you should mention that." Burst jumped to his feet, and Blitz froze in horror. "They say that heroes never die." Burst's wound glowed bright blue for a second, and then completely healed! "You should've read up on me more. I've ascended into an Avatar. I told you that I already saw a dead man. You dedicated your life to one sole purpose. And that's all you lived for. Since that went down the drain, you've got nothing left."
"Shut up...SHUT UP!" Blitz snarled! "I DON'T NEED TO HEAR THIS FROM YOU! I WILL TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE! YOUR LIFE SHOULD BE MINE!"
Burst shook his head. "Dad would be so disappointed in you. Even when he accepted you, it still wasn't enough for you." Burst got into a fighting stance. "I hate you Blitz. Not for what you've done. But for how you've abused your power and wasted your potential. You could have been a great hero. But I guess hearing that from me won't do you any good." Blitz made a mad dash at Burst! Burst simply countered by shooting Blitz point blank with one of his blasters! Sending Blitz flying! "I could've ended this fight in an instant. But something tells me you wouldn't have been able to rest in peace if I devalued you as an opponent like that."
"SPARE ME YOUR SYMPATHY!" Blitz roared as he once again charged at Burst! "I'LL TEAR YOU TO BITS!" Blitz came at Burst like a mad beast. And his appearance reflected this. His hair had gotten messy and wild, and he roared in fury each time he swung at Burst!
"I was hoping to harmlessly disarm you." Burst said. And he fired a shot that blew one of Blitz's arms clean off! The wound cauterized by the blast! Blitz staggered to his feet, and made a desperate final charge at Burst! Burst took a deep breath, and cut off Blitz's other arm with Bahamut Aether! Blitz fell to his knees howling in pain as Burst calmly walked forward. The barrel of one of his blasters staring down Blitz. "It's over Blitz. You stood no chance."
Blitz stared at Burst in pure hatred. And he responded with as much venom he could pour into his words. "Then finish it."
"No." Burst said as he calmly holstered his blaster, and deactivated his aether blade. "I won't be the one to kill you. Because I'm not the one who hates you the most." Burst then turned around to leave. "Farewell."
Blitz was utterly dumbfounded by Burst's words, but perked up when he saw Luna fly in from above. "Luna! Help me! You wouldn't leave me to my fate here, would you? Please! Save me! I swear to love you! Truly love you this time! I have wronged you! But save me from this fate, and I shall be eternally by your side! No longer will your nights be lonely!"
"You brought up your fate, correct?" Luna asked calmly. "Did you assume Burst would leave you here to die?"
Blitz nodded in a panicky fashion. "Yes! Yes! How could he do such a cruel thing?! How-" Blitz was cut short when he saw the blade of Luna's dark magic katana piercing through his heart.
"He did not leave you to your fate." Luna said as tears flowed from here eyes. "He entrusted me to seal it. The woman whose heart you played with. The goddess you used as a tool. The one who bears the greatest hatred for you." And with that, Blitz's body began to slowly be eaten away from the inside out from the magic imbued with Luna's strike. "It is done."
Burst nodded and wrapped his arms around Luna as she wept. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I let this happen to you." Burst closed his eyes. There's only one way I can make this right. And only one person who can grant my request. I just hope that it's within his power...
Author's Note
Well, this is it. The finale for the original EoH. It's been a fun ride everyone. But don't think things are gonna end like this. The series is going to get a fresh start. And it'll be thanks to Burst being granted a wish by a certain Lord of Chaos. Endings are just new beginnings waiting to happen.
Elements of Heroism: Season 6
After issuing his challenge, Burst Stream did the only logical thing. He headed home. "It's only been a day, and it felt like forever!" Burst said as he threw himself onto his bed. "I think I have a newfound respect for Moon and Luna. Sleeping on hard moon rocks really makes you appreciate a nice, soft bed."
"Funny. We could say the same about you." Celestia said with a giggle as she and Nightmare Moon teleported into Burst's bedroom. "Moon really missed snuggling you."
Burst blushed a little. "I won't lie. I did miss feeling the two of you being close to me." He was soon embraced by the women he loved so much. "This is probably what I missed the most about being back here..."
"I was alone for a thousand years. Then you came into my life." Moon said sweetly as she nuzzled against Burst. "You wanna keep on being held like this for a while? Also, you sure seem a lot more calm than you were earlier."
Burst sighed. "Don't get me wrong. I'm still pretty damn furious. Blitz used Luna as a tool. Before? I was at my limit with him. But now? I think he's the one person I actually hate with every last bit of my being. He'll pay for what he's done. But that's not what matters most to me." Burst put his arms around Celestia and Nightmare Moon. "I'm back home, and I'm here with the two of you. That's all I really care about." And with that, the three drifted off into a peaceful slumber. A moment of comfort before the final battle dawned.
Elements of Heroism: Season 6
Episode 3: Sorrow and Betrayal
Blitz stormed into his house! "MOTHER!" He shouted! "Everything I have planned, all I had worked for has been destroyed!"
"What's troubling you my son?" Abyss asked in a concerned tone.
Blitz snapped his head in Abyss's direction. "Burst Stream has returned. The attack I hit him with should have held him on the moon for years!"
"You...did what?" Abyss whispered in horror!
"AGH!" Blitz fumed! "Show me the most powerful spells at your disposal! Teach me so that I may finally destroy him and take my rightful place! As the worthy Son of Aether! The ONLY Son of Aether!"
Abyss shuddered in place. Her heart beating like tartarus was raging within it! She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and said the one word she'd never uttered before to her son as her eyes slowly opened. "No."
"What." Blitz slowly turned to face his mother. "What do you mean "no"?"
"I mean that I will not teach you anything. Or concede to your requests." Abyss let out a sad sigh. "Blitz, what you've done is horrible. You said that you desired to be a hero. But the acts you've committed?" Abyss stared right into Blitz's eyes. "You're a monster. And it's my fault for not seeing what I turned you into. Even when you had Aether's approval, it wasn't enough for you. I wanted you to be happy, and I let you become something truly horrifying.
Blitz was practically snarling! "You...YOU DARE TO BETRAY ME?!"
"You betrayed yourself the moment you walked down this path." Abyss said as tears slowly fell from her eyes. "And I betrayed you by allowing you to walk down it. I'm sorry." Sobs began to wrack her body. "I'm so sorry..." Blitz teleported away, and Abyss fell to her knees. Her sorrow bursting free as she wept.
