Hearth's Warming is a just a week away and Twilight and her friends (Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer and Juniper Montage) have completed their shopping and are enjoying the show of the last minute shoppers in Canterlot's main mall, run around in panic. As they sit down to discuss a few things, like plans for Hearth's Warming, compersion of notes on traditions, the expected arrival of family coming to spend the holiday, etc., the topic of significant others and plans with them is brought up. While a few of her friends realize they forgot about that and proceed to address the matter, to Twilight's horror she didn't realize that she forgot about her own boyfriend until she saw the gift he had sent her and the letter reminding her that he will be coming back on Hearth's Warming Eve.

Twilight has only five days to find the perfect gift.
Can she find it in time?
Will she disappoint herself and her boyfriend?
Or has she been looking in the wrong place?
