It was several months since Arceus had escaped his prison and brought the Pokémon to Equis. Everyone got used to the new residents and their strange characteristics. It took a while, and with a little persuasion, Pokémon were widely accepted in Equis, with a few still opposing countries of course.

While Equestria, Griffonheim, the Changeling Empire, Marelantis, Zebrica, the Buffalo Cheifdom and Candia widely accepted them, Saddle Arabia, Minos, and the dragons still reject them for ridiculous reasons. King Faris of Saddle Arabia disliked them because they threaten tradition while the minotaurs hated them because they feel threatened.

But when the mane six go to stop an equality-driven unicorn, a race far more ancient and powerful than even Arceus was watching them all that time, and they decided it was time to reveal themselves.

The AI awoke, feeling power once more running to it. It was dormant for millions of years by now, it guessed.

PRE-DORMANCY COMPOSITION: ARGON WITH TRACES OF OTHER GAS...

The AI checked the internal atmosphere in case of any changes happening during its dormancy.

SCANNING INTERNAL ATMOSPHERE...

CURRENT COMPOSITION: ARGON IS DECREASING SLOWLY, BEING REPLACED BY NITROGEN AND OXYGEN...

At that moment, the AI knew something was wrong. Carefully, it surged electricity to the various cameras, looking through each one until it found that a wall in Sector E has a hole in it, and coming out are strange rocks. Those rocks were floating in midair, strange.

Those rocks had blue crystals and looked like they had eyes above the white section of their body. They were accompanied by a mole with claws that looked like they were pat of a drill of some kind. Though the only words it hears from them are words like "Excadrill" and "Carbink", coming from them, but it noticed they were, communicating. Almost as if they were sentient. Were they sentient or was it still not functioning right.

UNAUTHORIZED LIFEFORMS DETECTED... SCANNING...

ROCK CREATURES ARE CRYSTALLINE IN STRUCTURE... NEED SPECIMEN SOON...

MOLE CREATURE'S CLAWS ARE MADE OF STRANGE METAL... BETTER DEAL WITH THEM...

The AI sent some security droids to "escort" the animals out of the area.

GOTTA SEAL THAT HOLE...

With the animals out of the way and with a "sample" of one of the rock creatures captured, the AI sent to work, sending maintenance droids to patch in the hole. It will begin experimenting on the intruder soon.

PUMPING IN SPARE ARGON GASES...

The AI checked to see if there's still damage. But first, it released a camera drone to look around.

Celestia woke up from her bed with a yawn. She looked around, and everything seemed normal. Her Ninetales was sleeping by her, and her Ageislash was out patrolling the area, which helped keep it away. She got up and put her royal regalia on and walked out the door.

"I hope Twilight and her friends are okay..." she said as she walked out of the hallway. Bio Chem arrived back from an expedition to find a strange village where everyone had the same cutie mark. Two of the four ponies in his team were captured and she had a thought on what they did with them.

She can't belive she's thinking this, but a someone she knew what was happening to them, did he?

"One cannot estimate your friends, Celestia..." Arceus said as he came in with his signature gold flash. He walked up to her, looking distantly, and then, he had a shocked look in his eyes.

"What is it? What do you feel?" Celestia said, waving a hoof in front of the Alpha Pokémon's eyes.

"I sense a presence arriving, it's even stronger than I am..." Arceus said with a mouthless frown.

"You are right, Alpha Pokémon. I am the presence you sense." a voice said. It was male in sound and had a moderate pitch. There was also a tinge of an accent, possibly Unovan?

"Show yourself, presence. What do you want?" Arceus said. Even though he can hear the voice and sense the presence, he cannot actually see it.

"Oh well. Since you asked sooooo nicely, I can pop in for a visit." the presence said sarcastically. With a flash of light, the presence took the form of a tall male Caucasian human with light brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing an outfit similar to what the soilders of the American Revolution wore.

"I present thyself to thee as a fellow colonist so you may understand me." the being said.

"Excuse me?" Arceus said, looking offended. He didn't colonize, he was trying to save HIS Pokémon and a few select humans from the more evil people.

"I don't know who you are or why you are accusing Arceus of bringing the Pokémon here so they can be safe from harm's way, but could you please leave us alone." Celestia said.

"No, I am not leaving until I fulfill some objectives, and to answer your first question, we call ourselves the Q, well, we are all named Q. It's all pretty much the same thing, yes. And we want you gone." the Q being said.

When the door opened to reveal an earth pony mare, a male Luxray and a female Sylveon, the Q being turned his head at them, causing a barrier to form and the door to close.

"Not cool!" the Sylveon said as the door slammed.

"Arceus, the millennia go by so rapidly, perhaps you shall understand this better." With a flash of light, the Q was in an outfit that a 1940s U.S. General wore.

"Actually, the issue at stake is patriotism. You must return to your world and put an end to Team Rocket. All it takes are a few good people, or Pokémon in your case." the Q being said.

"That nonsense is months behind me, even if it wasn't I don't have the power anymore. I have moved to different interests now and I'm making rapid progress with the locals." Arceus said.

"Oh, you wanna see your rapid progress with the locals?" the Q said. With another flash of light, he appeared in some kind of white armor with tinges of black here and there. That reminded Arceus of the 'storm troopers' he saw when looking at other universes during his imprisonment. Just then, Luna walked into the room.

"Rapid progress: in which Celestia controls the populace with drugs." the Q said with a fake frown.

"Hey! Thou can't talk to my sister like that." Luna said as Celestia glared at the Q in anger with a blush on her face, already feeling offended by the Q. But they all knew for certain that the Q being was up to something.

"You feel it, don't you? And to think that struggles would be ended, even more struggles will come. History is doomed to repeat itself, and when you aren't careful, bad things will happen." the Q said in a mocking tone. He waved his hand in an outward motion, as if he was swatting a fly, and suddenly, Celestia's gravity increased on her.

"Are you alright, sister." Luna said as she came to her own sister, checking if she was alright.

"That'll show you what'll happen when you aren't careful. You came in, and you have provided the beacon to find a special someone that the Continuum wants back. Someone else very close to him gonna go fetch him back. This is not the last you'll see of me or any other Q." the Q said as he vanished in a flash of light.

"A new threat has arrived to Equis. I only pray for the best..." Arceus said as he adjusted Celestia's gravity back to normal. He gazed in the sky, knowing one thing: that it won't be the last of it.

Author's Note

Now, spoiler alert: the Q increasing Celestia's gravity foreshadows something big coming along.

They don't really want the Pokémon gone, that's like in the Encounter at Farpoint.
