In the vastness of space sped a massive metal object was being tailed by another one. The one that was fleeing was the overland battleship belonging to the notorious Captain Dean Angell, his ship was called the War Pig, it was an assault class overland battleship, so as the name would suggest it was mostly designed to be a frontline ship. Armed with heavy artillery cannons and rapid fire plasma turrets, basically it was armed to the teeth.

The ship pursuing them was a Lunar class battleship, this ship is much like the assault class but it’s better equipped for space warfare, being armed with heavy plasma turrets and rapid fire plasma turrets. In most circumstances the captain would be more than happy to enegage any enemy ship, but this time the odds were against them, seeing as the Lunar class battleship was better equipped for a space battle, their chances of winning were 834 to 1

“How much distance are we gaining on that ship?” The captain asked

“We’re managing to stay one step ahead of them, but before long we’ll run out of fuel” replied Jamie his second in command

“Open up a warp gate it’s our only chance to outrun them” stated the captain

“Aye sir” replied Jamie

In all his years of being a snow pirate Captain Dean Angell had never been captured, and he was going to keep it that way, even if he had to do something potentially dangerous he was willing to take the risk if it meant avoiding capture by Nevec. Jamie opened up the warp gate and the ship sped towards it before vanishing into it

Back on the Lunar class battleship the Nevec officer slammed his fist down on one of the control panels

“fuck! I can’t believe that bahstard got away” he said in anger

One of the crew members walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder “it wasn’t your fault sir”

“No it’s not my fault, it’s yours

Without warning the Nevec captain drew his pistol and shot the young man in the head, he fell limp on the deck blood leaking from the wound in his head, he put his pistol back in its holster. Just then he heard a laugh out of seemingly no where, a dark yet happy laugh, just then the ship was engulfed in a white light, when the light cleared their eyes they saw a large green and blue planet, and there, in front of them, was the war pig.

(Fifteen minutes earlier)

“The ship is away captain” said Jamie happily

“Good, normally I would be willing to take on any ship, but a Luna class battleship in its own domain? That would be unwise”

“And by the way sir, you do realise that what we’re doing is extremely dangerous, right?”

“Of course I do Jamie, who knows where we might end up?”

“But this doesn’t make any sense, your supposed to be the most precise snow pirate captain on E.D.N.3” Said Jamie

Right after those words left his lips they heard a sinister laugh echo around them before a voice said “aw make sense, aw what fun is their in making sense?”

After those words were spoken the ship gave a massive jolt forward, sending the crew off their feet, when the bridge crew regained their footing and looked out of the main window they saw a beautiful planet with a massive bright green land mass in the center surrounded by a bright blue ocean.

“Wow” said Jamie, but sadly their amazement was cut short as they heard the collision alarm go off, Jamie took a look at the radar

“There’s another ship coming in” he said

“Bring it up on the the main screen” ordered the captain, after giving a ‘Yes sir’ Jamie brought it up

“That’s the Lunar class battleship we were fleeing” said Jamie

“Jamie, how much fuel do we have left” Asked the captain

“That warp portal drained our fuel tanks we have 5% left, not enough to get away, and certainly not enough to open another warp gate” said Jamie

“What is the condition of our weapons?”

“Scanning, stand by, our weapons are loaded and ready to fight, we just need someone to man them”

“Red alert, battle stations! Bring us to an attack posture Jamie”

“Yes sir”

Back on the Lunar class battleship the captain was momentarily stunned as he saw the War Pig turn its broadside to them

“Their moving to attack position?” He said in amazement “I guess Captain Dean Angell’s as crazy as they say, tell the crew to get to their battle stations!” He ordered

On the planet, in a small town named Ponyville, sat Twilight sparkle enjoying one of her favourite pastimes, reading a book, until she was disturbed that is, without warning, the door to the library burst open and a pink blur rushed in and tackled Twilight to the ground.

“Twilight!” Said Pinkie Pie

“Pinkie you should know better than to barge in like that, seriously you almost scared my flank off” Said Twilight angrily as she pushed Pinkie off

“Sorry Twilight, But there’s something I need to tell you” she said

“And what would that be?” Asked Twilight although her question was soon answered as Pinkie started to quake all over

“My Pinkie sense tell me that there’s one heck of a doozie coming” she said

“What kind of doozie?” Asked Twilight

“I don’t know, I just know it’s coming” Said Pinkie

Thousands of miles above them the two ships were facing off, hitting each other with everything they had.

“KEEP FIRING!!!!!!!!!” Screamed Captain Angell as the ship was rocked by another hit

The gunners complied and kept up the barrage of fire, on the other side the Lunar class battleship was doing just as well

“Keep up the fire” The captain ordered

“Sir we’re losing a fuck load of turrets and before long we’ll be completely defenceless” Said one of the the other bridge crew in panic

“Charge up the main cannon, we’ll blow these snow pirate bahstards right out of the sky” ordered the Nevec captain

On the other side Jamie looked at his monitor, his eyes shrank in horror as he detected a large amount of energy building up in the enemy ship’s core

“Sir! The enemy ship is charging up its super laser”

Captain Angell put his hand to his earpiece

“Concentrate all fire on the main cann-“ but before he could finish, the enemy ship fired a large blue beam of pure energy at the war pig, striking the side of the ship, the ship started to tilt.

“Everyone hold on!” The captain shouted as the ship started to fall towards the planet.

“Captain! the ship might be badly damaged but we still have 2% fuel left, what do you propose we do?”

“We’ll use the last of that fuel to come down safely, divert all power to the engines!” The captain ordered

“Yes sir!”

Down on the planets surface strange noises were heard coming from the sky, Twilight stepped out of the library having being disturbed once again, only this time it was by something other than Pinkie Pie, when she stepped outside she heard gasps and shrieks of shock and terror, Twilight looked up and her mouth fell agape. Up their in the sky was a huge metal looking box, the box was gun-metal grey in colour and it had four massive wings protruding from its sides. And the whole thing itself was massive, about as long as twenty of Rarity’s boutique and as tall as canterlot castle.

A shadow fell on Twilight as the massive object flew right over ponyville and crash landed in a field on the other side of a large hill, leaving a massive gash in its wake

Twilight ran back inside and called Spike

“Spike!”

“What is it now Twi?” Spiked Asked as he groggily walked down the stairs

“Where are my saddle bags?” She asked

“Right where they always are”

“Oh right” Twilight chuckled embarrassingly

“What do you need them for anyway?” Spike Asked

“Something large and metal just fell out of the sky and I’m going to investigate, and you know how much I like to do scientific research” she said

“Don’t remind me “ Said Spike under his breath

Twilight finished packing her bags and hurried outside to try and find this massive thing

“Just imagine all the research I could find, I could be the most famous scientist in all of Equestria” she said in excitement
