Battleship Express

War! For the first time in many years, war has come to the once peaceful land of Equestria. A brutal war, unlike any previously fought. Celestia's soldiers, and even local militia forces are stuck in frightening trench warfare, with trenches stretching from Las Pegasus, to Appleoosa, to Baltimare, and various attacks on other towns and cities have occurred as well.

Two empires have forged an alliance to invade and conquer Equestria. The Caribou Empire, led by King Danin, and the Zebra Empire, led by Overlord Zakia, have both vowed to enslave the Ponies, and even so far as to wipe them from existence.

The war in the trenches has stalemated, but the enemy is gaining ground. With the enemy all around them, Celestia and Luna cry out to the heavens, begging them to save their subjects from the horrors of the war. Sure enough, their prayers are answered, just not in the way that they were expecting.

In another world, in the year 2029, WW6 has been raging for almost 2 1/2 years now. The Americans are fighting against the evil Futa Empire for control of the US. Their deadliest weapon against these abominations? The feared and dreaded Battleship Express; the war train to end all war trains. Pulled by former Union Pacific Big Boy Locomotive 4009, and armed to the teeth with almost every type of weapon imaginable, what better weapon could the heavens send to a nation in dire need of liberation? What could possibly go wrong when you send a war train, its 216 man crew and accompanying battalion, all armed to the teeth with everything, including nuclear shells, to Equestria, and pit them against two combined evil empires? Well, lot's of things actually. Will they pull through their struggles and succeed in their mission? Or will they become just as bad, if not worse, than those whom they were attempting to destroy?

(WARNING: Story contains scenes of gore, language, battle scenes, unauthorized use of nuclear weapons, lots of cool explosions, a Union Pacific Big Boy Locomotive, some romance, and one heck of a wild adventure!)

(On a more serious note though, while this story was once labelled "Teen", I had to change that, because there will be a few scenes later down the line that were meant for adults. These scenes will be marked "EXPLICIT" at the top of their own separate chapter, and will be called "Chapter 10.5" for example, instead of "Chapter 10". This is done so as to make my story at least "semi" family friendly, while still writing to my heart's content. In other words, if you're under 18, steer clear of any ".5" chapters You have been warned!)

(I would also like to extend my thanks to An Iowa Class Battleship, for allowing me to write my verison of his story, "Rails of Destruction"
