I Want to be Inside You, for Who You Are Inside

Deep Down Inside

Someone was screaming in Carousel Boutique, and it sounded like Rarity. Like Rarity, but not Rarity.

Spike dropped everything -- a carton of eggs, a bag of apples and a bottle of milk spilling onto the dirt road of town square -- and ran. His legs had gotten longer over the years, what would have been a desperate waddle now a slithering stride.

He was at the boutique in under a minute when he heard the second wail, and was at the back door seconds later. Rarity hid a spare key in her peg basket at the back for Spike and Sweetie Belle, and he made a conscious effort to remember it instead of smashing a window and turning the handle; if that didn’t work on the first try, he’d be costing himself seconds rather than saving them, and breaking glass besides.

As it was, he was fumbling with the key in the lock. The door gave.

“Rarity? Rarity I’m here, it’s Spike.” Then, just in case, “Big scary pony-eating dragon Spike.”

Well. He was about pony-sized, which was kinda big. And he’d never eaten a pony before, but a home intruder wouldn’t know that. Rarity could take care of herself, sure, but if anypony had overpowered her or... he had sharp teeth.

“Spike! No,” the voice that was almost Rarity’s cried from upstairs, “don’t come up!”

Spike ignored that without a moment’s hesitation. He’d heard that one from Twilight enough times to know that intonation; That wasn’t “I don’t need help” it was “I don’t want anyone to see how badly I’ve made a mess of things”. Twilight usually said it when something had caught fire, or dropped acid, or some acid had caught fire and the fumes were poison.

He bounded the stairs three at a time.

Rarity was in her inspiration room, door barricaded. “Spike! I said don’t come up!” Her voice was deeper, fuller. Not quite hoarse, but definitely throatier.

“I know. I didn’t listen. You sound weird.”

Rarity didn’t respond to that.

“Rarity, what’s wrong?”

Apparently pointing out her voice was different was the wrong move, because he wasn’t responding anymore. He pressed his ear to the door and heard panicked breathing.

“Rarity, I’m not leaving until I know you’re okay. So either open up or I’m breaking that door down. I promise I’ll fix it later if I’m overreacting, but I will.”

There was the scraping sound of heavy furniture being dragged along wooden flooring on the other side of the door, and ringing metallic flick of the lock being twisted.

“Alright,” Almost Rarity’s voice said, “If you must.”

Spike’s claw reached for the door handle, hesitated at the last moment. She sounded so... defeated. What if it was nothing? What if it was something? It was both and neither until he opened the door, and neither option was good.

He opened the door.

Rarity’s inspiration room looked... well, about the same, honestly. It was trashed, but it was always trashed -- that was rather the point of the room. Some bolts of fabric were unravelled, though, and silk was left on the floor, usually unthinkable. In the eye of the storm sat a stallion, back to the door, a stallion with a styled purple mane and a white coat and a three-gemstone cutie mark.

“Rarity?”

“You’re as stubborn as Twilight.” She -- he? -- said, “Thank you for not breaking the door down.”

“Thanks for opening it. Rarity, what happened? You’re--”

“Male?” He snorted, bitter, “Yes.”

“What happened there? You can’t just trip and fall on a Y chromosome.”

Rarity frowned. “Pardon?”

“It’s a biology joke. Don’t worry about it.”

“Ah. Well, I certainly have enough other things to worry about instead, don’t I?” Rarity gestured down at himself, scowling.

Rarity was sitting, and though he’d turned to look at Spike, the dragon felt... awkward standing in the doorway still. Like he should be sitting down for this, or Rarity should be standing, and he wasn’t about to ask Rarity to do anything right now.

There was a chair to his right, on the floor. He picked it up and pulled it behind him. Went to sit--

Went straight through.

Rarity looked away, staring straight ahead. “Sorry. I might have kicked that one in frustration. Don’t know my own strength right now.”

Spike looked at the three large pieces of chair surrounding him, picking through it with one hand while rubbing his back with the other. Lucky his tail broke falls like that so much, or he might have really hurt his hip or something.

The chair had apparently been split right through the center from Rarity’s kick, and kind of held together from the shape of it. But sitting on it had apparently made it split through like saloon doors...

“Wow. You really did a number on this, huh?”

Rarity was silent. Well, so much for the sitting patiently approach. He’d made an honest attempt at it, but that plan had, uh, fallen through. Rarity wasn’t looking at him either...

He didn’t really sneak up on Rarity, because it wasn’t sneaky. He’d just spent enough time working in libraries with creaky wooden floors to figure out how to walk silently when he needed to, in a completely normal not-sneaky way. He did that.

Spike had his hands around Rarity’s shoulders before he’d heard him move, and was moving his thumbs in slow, controlled circles before Rares could flinch. The initial jerk away in shock gave way to melting back into his hands with a breathy sigh that caught in his throat, caught against an Adam’s apple he wasn’t used to having yet.

“Better?”

Rarity nodded, shifting his weight back into Spike’s hands. They both gave silent thanks for the wonder of dragon thumbs. “Much. Thank you. For being... comfortable enough to touch me, even.”

He was caught so off-guard by that his thumbs stopped moving, but he caught himself just as quick. Slow, easy circles, not too hard, but he could definitely feel Rarity’s tension way more than he ever used to. Then again, Rarity never had a stallion’s back muscles before. “Why would I not?”

“Well, it’s one thing when I’m my beautiful feminine self, but... you don’t feel as comfortable massaging another man, surely?”

“Well yeah, I do actually. But even if I didn’t, it’s not just ‘some guy’s’ back I’m rubbing, it’s yours. You’re still Rarity, right?”

“... right.”

“Right. So why don’t you just,” his thumbs moved up, rolling tighter, faster circles either side of Rarity’s spine, moving up his neck towards the base of his skull, “tell me what happened. And if it was Discord, I’ll go bite him or something.”

“I did this to myself I’m afraid, in a pique of curiosity. I thought I’ve been getting on in years, lately, Spike, and the edges of my feminine appeals might have blunted a little -- hush, I feel you’re about to protest, but let me finish -- and I thought a firm, masculine approach has a more timeless quality to it. My mind in a stallion’s carriage, I thought, might be exactly the thing I needed for some negotiations I was expecting. Might allow me to command more respect.”

“Did it?”

“Actually, yes,” Rarity admitted, “but I think it was more the unusual level of confidence than anything else. It appears I’m not as immune to the effects of testosterone as I’d have liked to imagine.

Spike pressed his thumbs down into the hollow below where the ear met the skull, and started scratching Rarity’s scalp with the fingertips. Based on how ‘he’ sighed through his nose, it seemed Rarity still had all the same spots, collected tension in all the same places. That helped a lot.

“So... why haven’t you changed yourself back?”

Rarity grumbled, and seemed to consider pulling away from Spike... but his fingers didn’t let up, and so that was that. “If you must know... Did you know that a male unicorn channels magic differently to a female, Spike?”

“No, I didn’t.”

“Nor did I. Oh, it’s not astonishingly different, mind, I can still pick things up and move them about to my heart’s content... But the original spell was a lot more complicated than that. I was barely able to cast it the first time.”

“When you knew how to use your magic better.”

“Yes.”

“So now you can’t change back, then?”

“That’s the long and short of it, I suppose.”

“I’m still not used to hearing you with a guy’s voice, you know,” Spike said, just focusing on running his fingers through Rarity’s mane. It wasn’t its usual long, rolling curl, now, but a mish-mash of layered parts and tresses doubling back on themselves. It bounced back against his palms, still as soft as ever. “It sounds pretty good, actually.”

“It was a little unnerving at first, really. Having a voice that was both yours and not. I am now far more sympathetic to Fluttershy’s poison joke experience, I can tell you that.”

“Yours is still not nearly Flutterguy deep. That’d be way too weird.”

“Where would you put it, actually? It’s very hard for me to gauge”

“Deeper than Braeburns, not as deep as Shining Armor, I think? If you can imagine that?”

“Hrrm. That’s a fairly pleasant range for it to be in. I’m rather okay with that, actually.” Rarity sighed. “If I am to be stuck like this, I might as well be... looking for the silver linings.”

Spike scruffled the bit behind his ear, and Rarity’s neck twisted up and into it appreciatively. “Your coat’s still just as soft. You’ve still got your amazing sense of fashion. You’re still you in every other way.”

His head twisted back again. He’d had him and he’d lost him. Too much too quick.

Well he’d tried being nice about it. He curled his finger into his thumb, pressed down and-

“Ow! Spike, that hurt.”

-flicked Rarity’s ear hard.

“No more self-pity. You’re still you no matter what, and even if you can’t fix it right now, I’m sure Twilight--”

“The spell only works on the caster,” Rarity interrupted, curling into his own chest miserably, crumpling down like an accordion, “Otherwise it’s much too difficult. It can’t be fixed until I fix it myself.”

Spike didn’t miss a beat. “--can help you work through relearning magic in a new body.”

“You’re persistent, you know that?”

“Well, I gotta keep up with how determined you are to be mopey about this.”

Rarity twisted, got up, stood and faced Spike. He had to look a little up at the dragon, now, to make eye contact, but he was fierce and stood his ground, stomped his hoof once, let it click on the wooden floor of the inspiration room.

“Spike. I’m ruined. Masculinity was something I was interested in vacationing in, certainly, but it was never meant to be a prolonged departure.”

Spike took Rarity’s head between his hands, claws wrapped around the base of his ears and continued to scratch them reassuringly. Rarity’s head bowed in acquiescence. “You’re still Rarity. You’re still smart, and talented, and beautiful. Handsome? Handsome. You’re not ruined.”

“Yes, well. That’s very dutiful to say, but even with your longstanding affections, I’m sure you wouldn’t be interested in-”

Spike held Rarity’s head firm and kissed him. Rarity yipped in surprise.

“Spike!”

“What?”

“A little forward, don’t you think?!”

Spike let go of Rarity’s head, took a step back. “I just... wanted to prove I wasn’t just saying that, you know?”

“So you kissed me?!”

“Yeah!”

“That was an effective way to prove your point!”

“Thank you!”

They were both yelling now. Rarity was standing now, stance low, fight-or-flight, staring at Spike’s feet. Spike was staring at a point in the ceiling directly above Rarity’s head, fists balled by his side.

Rarity’s cheeks glowed hot and pink, clear through white fur. “You’ve never...”

“I thought about it a lot.” Spike said to the ceiling, and also to Rarity.

“Why now, then?”

Rarity and Spike made the effort to look at each other, breathing heavily. No, still too awkward, Spike looked down this time and Rarity’s eyes swung up.

“You always knew you were beautiful before. It didn’t mean as much.”

“I think a good riesling would pair well with that cheese, Spike.” It was still weird hearing Rarity with such a masculine voice.

Spike’s ear flicked. “Do you actually have a bottle?”

“No. Unfortunately. Because I would actually murder for one right now.”

“Yeah, I could go for some too, actually.”

Spike looked left, scratching his neck. Rarity looked right, biting his lower lip hard enough to make it press white around his teeth.

Something was pulling at Spike’s curiosity though. They couldn’t just sit here feeling awkward forever. “Was it... good though? The kiss, I mean.” Obviously he had to do something to make it more awkward.

Rarity’s teeth rolled off his lip as he sucked in his cheek, chewing that thoughtfully now. “I couldn’t tell you. I was more surprised than anything else.”

“Oh.”

Rarity heard the hurt in Spike’s voice, and uncoiled like a too-wound spring, all motion and energy. “Not that it was bad!” He said, finally looking at Spike without hesitation or nervous glances away, “I just mean--”

“I gotcha, Rares.”

“You didn’t do anything wrong.” He was firm on that, twisted a hoof. “It was a very sincere gesture, and it was appreciated. It’s my fault that I wasn’t in a mind to show that appreciation.”

Spike wasn’t looking at him though. Just because Rarity had come out the other side of the awkward moment doesn’t mean Spike was under any obligation to. Stubborn, that’s what he was.

“That’s fine, Rarity. I get it. Really.”

He obviously got something very different to what Rarity was trying to tell him.

Since he was looking anywhere but Rarity, he wasn’t ready when he stormed up to the dragon, planted a hoof on his chest, and pressed him down so he wouldn’t move when Rarity leaned forward and kissed him, hard.

Rarity pulled Spike’s lower lip between his teeth, they were surprisingly soft given the scales. More like warm polyester than anything else. It gave his lips a wonderful firmness, a springiness to it, that made it fantastic to tease and chew. Not too hard, not too hard. Spike went completely still, breathless, when Rarity’s tongue flicked against the inside of it.

He tasted smokey, pleasantly so. The only surprise was that Rarity was surprised by this at all.

He took a step back, hoof off Spike’s chest, and heaved. At some point, he stopped breathing too.

“There. Appreciation. You started this, it’s only fair.”

“Oh. You were just surprised,” Spike smiled, head swaying back and forth a little, eyes not focusing on anything in particular -- though at least now they were unfocused in Rarity’s direction, an immediate improvement, “I get it now.”

Rarity smiled to himself, and it was in that moment of not-having-a-particular-train-of-thought that allowed the realizations to bleed through.

“Why now?” He asked himself.

Spike nodded, still some place far away. A happy place. Really, he was playing the memory of the last few seconds over and over to himself, to burn that memory down to its last detail. “Should have done that years ago.”

“And yet, you didn’t. And I didn’t. Though I have no problem now. Or hesitation. A worrying lack of hesitation, actually. Why do you think that is?”

Spike snorted. Rarity didn’t seem as amused, or to see what was amusing. Spike pulled himself back to the present moment when he realized Rarity wasn’t getting it, reluctant as he was. “Rarity, you’re a guy now.”

“Yes. You were reassuring me that I’m still the person I am in spite of it, I remember, but-”

“No, no, what I mean is... Rarity, you’re full of testosterone.”

“... oh.” The oh was small, matter-of-fact. Like the realization that you couldn’t stand up straight because you were missing a limb. Or, in Rarity’s case, the reminder he had one too many.

“You really didn’t notice that, huh?”

“Well, I did at first. But I thought I had gotten it under control. Maybe I’d just gotten too used to it. Why?”

Spike pointed between Rarity’s legs. He looked down, brow furrowed.

He yipped, covering himself.

“Spike!”

“What?”

“Don’t look at it!”

“It’s really not a big deal. I have one too you know. It does that sometimes”

Rarity folded his legs in front of himself harder. “Spike!”

“Wow, you are really not used to how obvious it is for guys when we get aroused, huh? Or how easily.”

“How do you live like this?” He squeaked, staring alternately between his legs and at Spike’s face and trying to work out the optimal locations for limb-concealment. It ended like a one-man game of Twister. Right hoof hide penis.

“I guess most guys sort of figure that out over puberty. But you never went through puberty did you? So this is all just hitting you at once, huh?”

“Spike!”

“Like a truck, apparently.”

Rarity was about to scream, or panic. A tense equilibrium while deciding whether to explode or implode, and caught in the indecision. “How do I fix it?!” Spike stared, tense and slack. “Spike?!”

"Ah. Fix?"

"Make it stay down!"

"Right." Spike's amusement had been taken out back and shot all the sudden, it seemed. "About that."

"... no. I am not exorcising this little demon."

"I dunno, Rarity. Wouldn't say little."

"Spike!" he shouted, but felt a deep flush of pride regardless. "Other solutions."

Spike was wracking his brain trying to be more helpful, but if he was being honest, the subject at hand was too distracting. "Cold showers never worked for me, but it might for you. Ah, clenching your thighs really hard for a minute?"

Rarity tried the clenching idea. It works, actually. He felt a notable twinge of pride at his success, smiled, looked up at Spike with a smile that was sincere in how hard he worked to show it.

Spike smiled back, blushing red furnace for watching Rarity try this for the last minute, and left alone with his thoughts in the meantime. He'd been following his own advice, at least.

Rarity saw it in his eyes, and was immediately back to square one.

He didn't shout this time, or stomp, or moan. Just stared at the obstinate new appendage, focused on it.

"Alright. So that worked right up until the moment it didn't. What does that mean? I would rather not have to pay it a second's more attention than necessary."

Spike didn't seem to know what to do with his hands. Went from scratching the back of his neck, to resting it against his hips, to crossing his arms in front of his chest, to just wringing them, holding each wrist, in the span of a few seconds. "Ah, it probably just means you're kind of turned on? I guess? That only really works for 'awkward boners'."

Rarity stared down at himself and felt the panic rise anew. "That's what that means? It just... happens sometimes?"

"Yeah."

"This is my life now."

"Apparently?"

"Spike what do I do?"

Back to arms folded in front of his chest for a second, then just burying his face in them and running them down, pulling it. "Rarity, I think if you want it to go down, you gotta... you know."

"No."

Spike stared at him, face still in hands, eyes caught somewhere between pleading and 'really'.

You could hear a pin drop.

"No! No, I am not touching this thing. I might have to live with it but I am not indulging it, is that clear?"

"That's fine." Spike said, voice twisted up in his throat, "That's totally fine. That's just what you need to do. It can just... stay like that while we're talking. That's fine."

"I am not talking to you like this!"

"I can go."

"You are NOT leaving me alone with this!"

"That's fine."

Rarity grabbed a throw cushion from behind a pile of fabric bolts and screamed into it. Spike seemed sympathetic at least.

"Do you want me to... help?"

"Help? You've already tried, and I appreciate it, Spike."

Spike shook his head, shifted up to Rarity and twisted him around here he sat, pressed his thumbs back into his neck, slow firm motions. Rarity melted back into his claws.

"No, I mean... If you don't want to touch it..."

Rarity felt his cock twitch as he realized exactly what Spike meant. "You'd honestly...?"

"I mean, this isn't how I expected today to go either," Spike admitted, moving to Rarity's shoulders, just keeping him focused on his claws for the moment, "but it's still you, isn't it? Still the same pony I've had a crush on since forever. So, yeah. I would, actually."

Rarity felt something pressing back into his lower back, something hot and insistent. It seems Spike really didn't mind actually. That was... rather flattering, honestly.

"Just don't stop doing what you're doing, Spike," Rarity hung his head, pressing his chin into his chest, flexing all the muscles Spike was focusing on in the process, "thank you."

Spike’s hand trailed lower and Rarity’s weight shifted forward, pushing him up and away from his cock.

“Please, don’t. I don’t need to have attention drawn to it."

Spike leaned forward and nibbled Rarity’s ear for purchase, breathing “I love you no matter what, okay? I just want to make you feel great. Trust me?”

Rarity shuddered, but nodded, and Spike’s hand curled around his cock, letting the weight of it rest against his fingers as his thumb drew arcs against the bottom edge of Rarity’s flattened tip, rolling it up, sending rolling waves of pleasure humming along his spine.

Rarity shuddered again. “Thank you, Spike. You're... ah quite good at this, actually."

Spike buried his face into the back of Rarity's shoulder. "Thanks. I was nervous..."

"Well, I mean," Spike's thumb squeezed a trail from the base of Rarity's shaft to the tip, rolling pre out of it, Rarity puffed a gasp, "I suppose you've had experience."

"Sort of. It's really not the same though."

"Yyyes I imagine doing it to yourself never really is, is it?"

"No, I mean," Spike paused, his hands slowing while he thought, and Rarity caught himself pushing his hips against him in frustration, "yours is really different to mine."

"... really?"

"You sound surprised." His hands started back up again, and Rarity melted back into the dragon behind him, sighed. No wonder stallions had always been so impatient for him to get right down to business; all the sensitivity that had been in her body was concentrated and condensed down into this one distressingly needy little spot in his.

"I suppose I just assumed they were all alike for some reason. Why, how is yours... different?"

"It's... weird. Don't worry about it."

Rarity purred as he curled back into him. He could still pull off a husky voice like this, and he could make it count. Sex appeal was more confidence than anything else, and he was rather starting to find his. "You're forgetting the rules of the game, Spike.

Spike's voice was as neutral as the Swiss. "This is a game, now?"

"Only if you really want to play with me, big boy." Oh, well, testosterone really was one hell of a drug, wasn't it?

Spike's wonderful claws tensed at that, tightened right at the knuckles. And considering where his knuckles were right now, Rarity felt a growl do coiling laps at the base of his throat. He'd have to catch Spike off-guard more often...

"Isn't this enough?" He was trying to sound suave, but the problem was that it was just trying,
"I'm sure you really don't need to..."

He gripped Rarity firm with his right hand near the top and crooked his thumb so it could circle the astonishgly sensitive tip, which was a valiant effort to distract, Rarity had to give him credit.

Still, he pushed Spike back a little from himself.

"I will if I plan on paying you back, Spike. And a... gentleman always repays his debts."

"That's fine, Rares. I was just doing this for you. You really don't have to."

"Spike if you decide after all this, this is the moment you decide your body issues trump mine, I am going to scream."

Spike stopped again, and Rarity really could scream at that. The desperate bucking of his hips seemed to remind him there was a job at hand though, and he snapped out of his thoughts rather quickly. "Okay, yeah, I really can't argue with that. Do you want to finish first?"

Oh, heavens, no. Rarity had seen what happened to stallions after cumming, and he wasn't finished with Spike yet, not by a long shot. With... great reluctance, he pushed Spike's claws away and turned, kissing him hard, not letting him breathe or take the advantage until he was lying on his back, Rarity pinning him to the idea room floor.

"Now then, sweet serpent," Rarity leaned into Spike's ear, hoof pinning his chest into the wooden floorboard, enjoying the sound of his nervous gulping, "let's see what all this fuss is about, then?"

He trailed kisses down his neck, surprisingly soft and warm for scales... felt more like soft leather, but alive and warm. Rough against the surface of the tongue, though, like the bristle-tips of a toothbrush. Rarity made a game of tracing the contours, the ridges and bumps, the whole way down, past Spike's chest, his stomach, along his pelvis -- Rarity might have stolen a few quick nibbles along the relaxed flesh, here, where he could get more purchase with his teeth -- and down to--

"Well, it is different, isn't it?" he mused, staring at the long, tapered member pulsing with the dragon's heartbeat.

"Yeah." Spike said, trying to get his breath back well enough to be properly embarassed, failing.

"I rather like different, actually."

It tapered, starting thick at the base with two swelling knots at the sides and trailing up into a pointed tip, currently running sticky fluid down along the curved shaft of it. Where Rarity's own was long, almost purely cylindrical, Spike's was more of a curved, sloping cone .

It was rather artistic, actually. Graceful, for what it was.

And here Rarity was hovering above it, trying not to salivate.

The rest of the dragon had such a wonderful texture. How would this be, he wondered?

"Ah, Rarity?"

Whatever Spike was going to say was immediately forgotten, because it had been enough to get Rarity to snap out of his reverie and strike.

Normally he'd be a bit slower about it, play up the teasing. Long slow licks from between Spike's legs while looking into his eyes, enjoying his reactions.

Normally Rarity hadn't been teased to high hell and hadn't had a mind clouded by testosterone haze, could think clearly through it at this point.

He pressed his lips against it and kissed the tip, guiding it with his tongue against the roof of his mouth and sliding it, feeling its thickness widen, his lips parting more as he took Spike deeper, until he felt it at the back of his mouth.

Apparently he had a gag reflex again, which was horribly disappointing. Eased off the moment he felt that nostalgic twinge in his throat. Choking and spluttering was incredibly unsexy. Well, he thought so anyway.

Still, it had a wonderfully diverse shape to it that a stallion simply didn't have, as satisfying as the simply cylinder could be. It was interesting to explore with his tongue. Easier to swirl patterns around than the usual flat tip. And the two swollen nodes, the pleasing texture of perfectly smooth tight skin, seemed to be especially sensitive, judging by the noises Spike made whenever he paid special attention to them.

Unfortunately, with them all the way at the base, it wasn't as easy to stay down deep enough if he wanted to keep his mouth entirely on it. It did make for a fun little game to play with himself, then, though the reward seemed to largely to go Spike.

He released it with a wet pop, working up enough magic to caress it, tendrils of force working their way along all the sensitive places he'd found with the tip of his tongue. Managed a smirk up at the dragon from between his shaking legs, his clawed toes curling hard enough to whiten the knuckles. "I'm sorry, Spikey Wikey, is this not the reaction you expected?"

It took a short forever of dazed staring before Spike realized he was expected to answer that. "Ah. No."

It wasn't a perfect taper. There was a ridge beneath the tip, giving the 'head' of it a harder textured spine, and Rarity ran magic far more precise and delicate than his tongue could be along its length. Spike shuddered, and his cock twitched delightfully in Rarity's magic. "I hope you're not too disappointed then."

"I-" Spike seemed determined to say it, but he found himself rather out of breath the second he tried to get the next word out. Rarity making eye contact with him as he bobbed back down on him, tongue tracing fast laps around that ridge, seemed to have had that effect on him. Dreadful.

The dragon pushed him back. Not enough to stop the magic, but the worst onslaught of Rarity's tonguelashing at least. "I wasn't done with you yet, though."

Rarity was painfully, painfully aware of that. His own excitement at his fun new toy to play with hadn't helped that in the slightest. "No, I suppose you weren't."

"This was about helping you, you know."

It had been, hadn't it? Priorities had changed since then.

He chalked it up to the testosterone.

Priorities had changed.

Rarity picked Spike up off the floor in his magic. He hadn't used so much of it since the change. He felt stronger with it, but far less control. Whether that was from being male or just not having an instinctual finesse and relying more on brute force, he wasn't sure.

Still. Didn't need finesse to pick Spike up and float him to the bedroom. Just enough to make sure he didn't get bumped into any doorways on the way there.

"Ah, Rarity?"

"Hush."

Rarity couldn’t hold him and turn the door handle with his magic right now, so he half-opened, half kicked the door open. Spike was thrown onto the big, soft, bouncy bed. His claws shot out to either side to steady himself as he landed, tail straight out.

Rarity's eyes stayed focused on that slick erection bouncing up and down, though. Target locked.

He crawled up after him. He was used to having a feminine form, not sure yet how to use this one to effect. Just move slowly and with confidence.

Easier to have confidence with the way Spike was looking at him, open-eyed and slack-jawed. Effective, then.

Just over him now. Spike's eyes darted down a moment, expecting Rarity to lower his mouth again. He kept climbing though, hoof to his chest, and kissed him hard.

Softer lips than he should have. Pleasant.

A drawer opened as he held him in that kiss. A packet of lubricant was levitated from the bedside table, while he kept Spike distracted. Let it be a surprise.

It was always cold at first, just for a few seconds. Rarity couldn't help but shudder. Spike noticed, looked up at him in confusion. Thought it was because he'd tried something experimental with that tongue of his.

That wasn't it. The way it curled and coiled around his own had not been the problem. Should he tell Spike...

No. It would be better to watch his face.

He guided Spike with his magic, held it steady. Lowered his hips and slid down and--

"Ah!"

They both winced as Spike slid inside. The penetration was usually more of a problem, but his taper made him absolutely perfect for this. Entered so easily and then widened. Still needed to settle though, adjust to the fullness.

“Slowly, slowly.” Rarity warned.

"Testosterone huh?" Spike grunted, Rarity sliding down, watching him. It was hard trying to keep the expression he wanted, calm and in-control, because as much as he had... experimented before, in private, he had never gone this far with a partner before.

"You're lucky I didn't insist on being on top, Spikey." That last bit came as a gasp. Spike rested inside him, settling onto the weight, staring at Rarity poised on top of him, sinking slowly onto him.

"I think you could have talked me into it," Spike admitted.

Rarity's cock twitched when he heard that, flaring. Apparently he didn't mind the idea at all. Spike raised his eyebrows at that.

"You seem to be enjoying it, at least."

And with that he pulled Rarity's hips down with his claws, and thrust his own up to meet them, meeting with the 'pap' of thighs against flank.

Rarity's eyes went wide.

Oh.

Oh he had a prostate now.

Oh.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

Oh, yes.

Eyes shut as hard as Rarity could force them, chin sharp against his chest, panting hard and ragged. He did... he had not expected that.

Then Spike pulled his hips back down into the bed, holding Rarity firm where he was, sliding- sliding out.

Ah.

Ah ha.

Ah, yes.

Wow.

"Rarity? You okay? You need a break?"

Rarity bit the inside of his right cheek, air sucked out through his nose, as he nodded. Nodded so hard and fast he got dizzier than he already was.

"Yes you're okay? Or yes you need a break?"

Rarity pushed his weight more into Spike’s chest and slid back down, gasping - a cough that wasn't followed by an inhale, just an emptiness in his chest and a fullness in his stomach. "I'm good, Spike. Quite good, actually."

"Yeah." Spike agreed, the word caught in his throat at just between the Adam's apple. It bobbed as he swallowed hard. "Quite."

Rarity rocked up again, down, supporting herself with just one hoof on Spike's chest now, the other holding his hair out of his eyes, up again, down. Found a nice easy rhythm, slow and steady. Allowing him to adjust each time.

That wonderful shape, too, helped ease the motion. Wonderful, splendid.

Spike put his hand on Rarity's cock and held it, thumb gliding against the bottom as his fingers curled around it, letting Rarity thrust into it with his own motions.

Rarity swore, hunched over Spike and pulled his head up into white chest, his easy thrusts becoming spasmic back-and-forth, Spike's cock, Spike's hand, his knees shaking.
He had the strangest feeling of his testicles pulling tight, clenching, his cock flaring warmth up and out against Spike's chest, his neck, beneath his jaw. Felt them tighten again as Spike's tongue flicked out and licked at some, swallowed it. Made eye contact as it did?

Why did that turn him on so much?

Stallions were such strange creatures weren't they.

Then Spike was pushing up off the bed, up over, pushing Rarity onto his back. Pushed forward, letting his waist hold Rarity in position now, one hand beside Rarity's eyes, his thumb brushing the cheek delicately, the other wrapping around Rarity’s left hip and pulling him tightly..

Spike towered over him, smiling down. It was cocky, greedy. More than a little bit hot as all hell.

“Glad to have been of service.”

Rarity looked down at his limp, twitching dick resting against his stomach, and resisted the urge to bite his lower lip. It wouldn’t do to dabble in the cliche. “Yes, I suppose it’s rather down now isn’t it.”

“I could stop now. You must be pretty sensitive, suddenly.”

“I am, yes.” Rarity agreed, keeping his voice steady and business-like. Firm. Not letting it waver.

“Should I stop then?” Spike asked, coy, “Because I can. But I’d rather fuck you until I cum, too.”

“Spike!” Rarity hissed, “vulgarity.”

Spike raised an eyebrow. He was still looking into Rarity’s eyes, which was... sending deep, hot sparks running through Rarity’s brain as well. “Because you rode me so enthusiastically and finished all over me, I want to ram my cock into your tight ass repeatedly until I flood you with my cum.”

“I meant less!”

“Rarity, I’m watching your face right now. I know what you meant, I was giving you what you wanted.”

Rarity blushed furiously. “Shutup and fuck me then!”

So, he did.

Spike’s claw moved down from Rarity’s cheek to the collarbone and dragged the sharp edge down, his other hand pulling and pushing Rarity against his hips which whip-cracked back and forth.

He was big. It was fuller than Rarity had ever felt, and he was astonished at just how sensitive he was so soon after cumming. As a female, it made the followup easier, more intense, amplified it. As a male he just felt more sore, even as his prostate sent screaming wake-ups to his cock to get with the program again.

Spike wasn’t gentle, either. Each thrust was hard enough to lift Rarity’s hips high up off the bed, and every time he pulled out the only thing stopping them from falling back down as his hand holding them fixed in place.

Rarity was being used like a piece of meat, like a hole just to be fucked.

And Spike kept staring into his eyes the whole time, with the most adoring, reverent smile.

“Fuck!” Rarity screamed at the top of his lungs, “Oh, fuck, yes!”

“Vulgarity?” Spike half-warned, half asked, but Rarity was too far gone now. He was babbling, speaking in tongues, words utterly without meaning.

Spike took it as a cue of some kind, went from kneeling between his legs to lying on top of her, pinning Rarity to the bed under his soft scales and hot, hot flesh. The hand near his throat went to his hair, circled it into a knot around his claw as he clenched his fist and tightened it. His hand would have gotten in the way of his teeth.

His teeth pressed into his neck and Rarity’s head exploded. The physical feeling of teeth, adrenaline, certainly, enough to make him drunk on the pleasure of it. But more than that, the feeling of being so utterly in his control, of having his life held so firmly in his jaws and knowing he trusted him with that absolutely...

Spike finally came, hot and hard and in pulsing bursts. He growled into Rarity’s ear as he did, something primal and bestial. Something lizard brained that made stars flash and swirl behind Rarity’s tightly screwed-shut eyes.

When he pulled out, it oozed out and against the bedsheets. Rarity gasped at the feeling of sudden, cold emptiness, at the throbbing in time with his heartrate, at the ringing in his ears.

“Oh, Spike.”

Spike just gasped, panted for breath, lying limply on top of him. His warm weight was... comforting. He was a bit crushed under it, certainly, but it was a very pleasant kind of crushed. It was close, and affectionate, and... Rarity wrapped his hooves around him and pulled him closer, nuzzled into his cheek.

“Rarity,” Spike rasped even, “we got a problem.”

“I don’t think we do,” Rarity sighed happily, unable to stop smiling wide enough that it hurt.

“You’re poking into my stomach.”

What? But his hooves were- “Oh! I’m so sorry!”

“No, no, that’s fine. It’s just... we were trying to get it to stay down, weren’t we?”

“We were?”

“We were.”

“Oh, well. Hrrm. First-” Rarity nudged Spike’s cheek with his own, forcing his head up, then struck like a viper, lips on his again, nipping at his lips. “There we are.”

“You just made it worse,” Spike chuckled.

“Well, if one were to still see it as a problem for me, then yes, it is worse. It’s becoming less and less of a problem, though.”

Spike lifted himself up, lessening that wonderful smooshed feeling. But he wanted to read Rarity’s expression better, so it would be impolite to pull the big dragon back down, as tempting as it was. “You’re feeling... better? About the whole situation?”

Rarity sighed. “I don’t know that I’m at all comfortable with it yet. But it’s definitely making for... an interesting and welcome experience.”

Spike nodded. His thinking expression was back on, though what about was impossible to read in it.

“Alright. Do you have any more uh... what do you call it?”

Rarity blinked. “What do I call what?”

“The stuff you... you know...”

“No, I really don’t. What’s made you all bashful, so suddenly? I had thought we were... rather past that, all things considered.”

“Lubricant. I want to try... you know... it’s only fair, right? If we’re trying new experiences.”

“Oh!” Rarity shifted, reaching into the bedside drawers with his magic again, “You want to be on bottom this time!”

“Shh! Yes, okay?” Spike grunted, putting a claw to Rarity’s lips. He nipped at those too, playfully. Spike raised an eyebrow and pressed his middle finger in, moving it up and down. Rarity obliglingly suckled on it, watching the dragon’s surprised eyes the entire time, bobbing his head into it. Spike shuddered.

Where was the big, neck-biting, dominant dragon he’d had biting into his neck a moment ago? All that was here now was a lovely little lizard.

“Spikey-Wikey, why don’t you do me a favour and mash your sweet little head into the pillow for me, and lift your tail for me, hrrm?”

Spike gulped again. “Ah, yes, Ms Rarity.”

“For the moment, that will be Sir, thank you.” Rarity intoned gravely, working the deeper notes in his voice. Spike gulped, nodded, and fell into position obligingly.

Oh, there had been a very real shift in the dynamics here, hadn’t there?

Maybe it was the timing. Rarity had felt a lot less dominant after orgasm, with Spike on top. Now the situation had completely reversed. Interesting, very interesting.

Rarity grabbed the lube with his magic and massaged it in evenly. Spike shuddered. It always was cold going in.

Rarity positioned himself on top of the dragon, front hooves pressed into his shoulders, knees leaning against his thighs. Spike’s head was buried into the pillow, claws clenched around the edges of it hard enough to rip fabric.

“How are you feeling, little Spikey Wikey?”

He nodded.

“We haven’t even really started yet, and you’re already so tense? Relax.” Rarity used his magic to massage Spike’s lower back, his shoulders, his neck.

Wait, that was three points of focus, wasn’t it? Hrrm. Definitely adjusting, then.

Spike let out a relaxed moan, and his claws opened, palms now flat against the torn pillowcase. It could be replaced.

Rarity eased himself gently against Spike, carefully. It took a lot of willpower to be carefully, though. The equipment had a mind of its own. Goodness, is this really what it was like living on the other side? He’d have to take that impatience into consideration from now on. It was like his brain had lost veto rights.

The flat, flared head pressed into Spike. It was a sharp, pinching pain at first, resistance. It wasn’t going to fit, was it? Then Spike pressed back into him with a grunt and-

They both gasped, together.

“W-wow.” Spike squeaked into his pillow. “That’s... different.”

“Slow?” Rarity asked. It was tight, squeezing. He had to get used to the sensation too, but being able to do it in such a way as to let Spike think he was in total control? Icing on the cake.

“Please.”

“Please what, little serpent?”

“Please... sir?”

Rarity slid in, nice and slow. “Correct. Good boy.”

“Gah! Oh, wow.”

Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Twilight, was this different. It felt good, certainly. Quite good, actually. Not as good as he suspected stallions thought it was, but it was quite... hot. Hot, tight.

All the sensation, all the pressure, was focused in one tight knot at the point of penetration. Unlike the oral entertainment, which rolled danced stimulation on every surface, it was just one extremely focused point of pleasure, then heat. Slow, steady thrusts brought that tight, focused pleasure up and down, spread along the shaft.

Spike groaned, starting low and deep and rising in pitch.

“A little faster now, then?”

“So big. So full.”

“Mm. It is, isn’t it? How’s my Spikey-Wikey enjoy getting filled?”

“G-good.” Spike groaned, still gripping the pillow. “Real good.”

“Mm. I bet. Would you like me to be a gentleman and stroke you as well, then?”

Silence for a moment. Rarity kept his easy, slow pace, just to make it harder for him to think how he’d answer. “Yes, please.”

“Yes please?”

“Yes please, sir.”

“Good.” Rarity reached around his front and sent tendrils of magic trailing down, down along his soft underbelly, down and around his inner thighs, back up to his knotted cock and down. Spread the magic out; Two points on the spherical swells at the bottom of the shaft, another running up and down the spine along its underside, and another teasing the tip with fast, light circes, fluttering swirls.

So much fine control, so many different points of focus, and he was handling it more and more effortlessly. Rarity was getting practice like this. Spikey-Wikey was definitely appreciating it too, because his claws were gripping the pillow tight enough to go right through it again.

One claw let go, began to slink lower, and Rarity swiped it with his magic, dragged it back up to the pillow. “No. You don’t get to touch it right now. It’s not yours, it’s mine. Am I understood?”

“Yes sir.”

“You ask permission before you play with my toys.”

“Okay, sir,” Spike gasped, as Rarity hilted in him, holding tight and letting him twitch around the very base of his cock, his scaley butt pressed flat against white stomach.

“Because right now you are mine, Serpent.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Does that please you?”

“Yessssss...” Spike hissed out, one fist balled hard, his claws digging into the meat of his palm, arm flexed out taut.

“Good.” A now-familiar twitch in his balls, and the tip of his cock was flaring. Oh yes. “I’m about to fill you with my seed, my handsome dragon. Are you ready?”

“Y-you’re going to cum inside me?”

“Oh, yes, I should think so.”

Fuck.” Spike yelled, thighs clenching, letting out a high pitched yowl, then his jaw clenching too. He clamped down hard on Rarity and pulled him forward as his hips gave out, and Rarity filled him as promised, hot thick pumps, slamming his hips three last long, deep times as Spike absolutely ruined the bedsheet below him. He went limp in his magic, so he released it.

He was starting to realize just how tender stallions got post coitus. He pulled out with a wet, slick pop.

“Mmm. Thank you for that, Spike.”

Spike reached behind him, wrapped a hand around the back of Rarity’s head and pulled him down over him, down towards the pillow, leaned back so he could kiss Rarity hard. “You know how I said ‘I love you, no matter what body you’re in?’”

“Vividly, yes.”

I really like Sir Rarity a lot.”

“Mm. I noticed, little Serpent.”

“Why Serpent?” He asked, curious, in between hungry kisses, “I really like it, but I don’t get it.”

“Well. They’re flexible, and they’re heavily associated with seduction, so...”

“Oh. Well, that’s nice, then.”

Rarity pulled him into one last kiss before collapsing next to him. “I seem to be getting the hang of this body’s magic, too.”

“Yeah! You definitely ah... Wow, I like Rarity on a testosterone kick a lot.”

“It’s definitely made me enjoy being assertive more than usual. I’ll have to remember that.”

“You’re starting to think you might be able to change back?” Spike sounded the most curious mix of hopeful and disappointed. Interesting.

“I’m starting to think so, yes. And if that’s the case, I might be able to switch back for another ‘vacation’ more readily, on very special occassions. Birthdays, Hearthswarming, Valentines...”

Spike’s eyes were like a child’s on Hearthswarming, at that. “So, you planning to keep me around that long then?”

“I suppose I must, now. You really do love me for more than just my body.”

“Well, bodies now, plural, right?”

“Mm. Yes, I definitely suppose you’re right.”

“Because we’re definitely going to figure out how to get you back. You’re already getting so much better with your magic.”

Rarity smiled to himself. “Oh, you noticed that huh?”

Spike snuggled closer, pressing his back harder into Rarity. “Yeah, definitely, absolutely.”

“I do feel rather stronger in this body, too. And the problem with the spell was power, not finesse...”

Spike twisted around so he could look at him better, which was a shame because Rarity had really enjoyed being the big spoon for once. Small pleasures. “So what, you’re thinking you might be able to try the spell again sooner than you thought?”

Rarity shrugged. “What can I say? You inspired me to experiment a little harder than I expected. It was very motivating.”

Spike kissed him on the nose once, before rolling back over. Rarity pressed back into him, spines and all. Big spoon once more. “Really happy to have helped. Really, really, really happy, actually.”
“Mm. Me too.” Rarity yawned. Blinked. “Spike, I’m tired.”

Spike nodded, sighing happily. “Yeah, that happens.”

“Spike it’s only four, maybe five in the afternoon.”

“Well, it’s been a very busy last few hours...”

“Oh, I hate being male so much.”

Spike snored once. Rarity opened his mouth to say something about that, but his eyes were closed before he could think of anything more to say.

Spike had just had the best dream. Weirder than usual, not one that he’d have expected from himself, but it’d been real good anyway. He smacked his lips together, getting the dryness out, and stretched. His skin rubbed against soft silk sheets, not cotton.

Spike was not sleeping in his own bed.

He opened his eyes. He was definitely in Rarity’s bed, no question.

It hadn’t been a dream, then?

Yeah, it really had felt too real. And he was still too sore in all the best ways. All that really happened then?

Nice.

“Good morning, Spike. I was wondering when you’d wake up.” A very feminine, musical voice called out to him. He sniffed... ooh, pancakes, extra syrup.

“Oh hey, Rarity. Is that breakfast?”

“What? No comment on my... shall we recall it a return to form?”

“What, did you get a manecut?” He couldn’t see, he hadn’t had the energy to lift his head yet, but he could feel the glare. “Nah. I knew you’d figure it out, and I’m more hungry than anything else.”

Rarity pouted, he could hear it. “Spoilsport. I was all ready to gush about it, and you went and ruined it for me.”

“Being normal again isn’t its own reward?”

“Oh, it most certainly is. But now I can’t get all excited about it. Here’s your pancakes, dragon-boy.” There was heat and weight as a plate was dropped on Spike’s stomach. He leaned up. It looked delicious. Rarity was smiling down at him.

“Dragon-boy? What happened to Serpent?”

“I’m saving that one up for... well, when you’ve got some food in you, let’s say.”

Spike grinned, attacking the pancakes with more enthusiasm than was strictly necessary. Sweeter things to savour than them right now. “So that’s still a thing, huh?”

“I suppose it is.” She paused, considered something. “Spike, I mean this. I love you. I adore you. But if you tell anyone, anyone about how you helped me figure out how magic flows through a male body, I will kill you.”

“Yes, Rarity.” Spike agreed dutifully between bites.

“I mean it. They will know me as Rarity Dragon-Slayer. I will miss you very much, yes, but I will earn that title.”

“As opposed to Rarity Dragon-Layer?”

Rarity smacked him with a pillow. “Yes. We’ll be having none of that thank you.”

“What, you don’t want more-”

“I mean the title. We will absolutely be having some of that.”

Spike finished the pancakes, and put the plate on the floor. He looked up at Rarity properly for the first time. “You’re not wearing makeup? It’s a good look for you.”

“No, I’m not. Thank you. I’m trying to feel more... comfortable with how I look. I must admit, you make me feel a lot more secure in that than I’ve felt since I was a much younger woman.”

Spike grinned again, hungrier this time. “Want to crawl back into bed and let me appreciate you properly then, just the way you are?”

“Oh, Celestia, yes.”
