The legend of Spyro: ponies in the dragon realm

It has been quiet for a few days, soldiers were healing faster thanks to Rarity and Applejack gathering crystals but Allan kept thinking on how to get the other girls helping as well. Sitting in his large tent he racked his brain trying to figure out what would be the best position for their guests? Then he had some ideas and went to the castle, asking for the girls. All five were sitting in front of the Queen.

"Ok here is how I see things, Rainbow Dash, you have the speed and best eyesight when your up high, you will be our scout, watching out for any darkers then report back to me so we can get the upper hand. Cadence, if it's alright with the Queen you will stay here and do what you do best, Rainbow, myself or Spyro will report to you. Fluttershy, Pinkie you two try and keep the civilians at peace, make them happy and worry less, but do be careful of what you say, for some have lost families. And lastly Twilight. You will stay in the city and if any darkers enter the city you will help Spyro get them out before any unwanted damage can be done."

The girls nodded and headed out to their posts, and the Queen motioned Allan to stay. "I like your plan Master Allan but are you confident in their abilities to preform during the many battles to come?"

"Your grace, they have proven they can take orders when we assaulted both Twilight's castle and Cantorlot, they will do what is asked of them no questions asked. Most of the time."

"Very well then that will be all."

"Wait. Before you go you should know that Twilght is acting a little off, I can't explain it but she seems out of sorts to me." Cadence said.

"Then I'll keep an eye on her, we all will." With that Allan left the room and headed outside where the girls were performing their tasks, Pinkie was putting on a show for dragons to watch, Rainbow was high in the sky, "RD make your way to the watch towers I'll be there shortly." Saluting him she took off towards the city wall. Continuing his stroll he saw that everything was going smoothly with their help, coming to the first watch tower, he went in, climbed the stairs till he reached the top.

"Commander Micheal this is Rainbow Dash, she will be our scout, she will aid your lookout from high above, you will be the first one she reports to so we can get our troops ready."

"Copy that Geaneral Allan."

Leaving the watch tower, Allan headed for the medical tent and saw a number of his men looking more lively then when he last saw them. "Looking good in here."

"Isn't it though, the young mares you sent here are a gift from the ancestors, they bring us plenty of crystal shards, and after we told them to keep a few in the gardens so more can grow, they have made sure that the garden is full before they come here. Some men will be battle ready within the next three days at best."

"Excellent, tell them to keep up the good work, oh and give the men that are close to ready spirit gems to help boost their strength."

"Will do General."

Smiling he left the tent and walked over to his own tent, sat in his long chair, closed his eyes and fell asleep. Over at Spyro's tent, where he spends most of his down time, he was sitting by a full communication crystal, talking to Cynder. "Hey honey how are things up there?" She asked

"Good, good you won't believe who is here...our colorful mare friends from Equestria."

"Are you pulling my leg?"

"Wish I was, they are here, Allan gave them specific jobs so they stay out of the fighting, so far they seem to be doing alright, no complains yet."

"I bet that threw you two for a loop, how's that shoulder doing?"

"Alright I guess, it has its days were it hurts, how are you holding up by yourself?"

"Actually Caelos came by a month ago seeing if I wanted some company. And I don't know what it looks like over there but it is the second month of spring and that is me season."

"Right, sorry I can't be there to help."

"Hey don't worry about it, Caelos is here to keep me company. No I don't intend on mating with him, if I can help it plus the kids are calling him uncle, hehe..."

"Glade the kids are having fun. And I'll try to be there for your next heat." Hearing the flap of his tent move, he looked over his shoulder and saw Cadence. "Hey babe I got to go Cadence is here."

"Ok hey Cadence."

"Hey Cynder."

"Love you hon, bye."

"Love you too sweety bye." Turning around he looked at the alicorn princess. "What can I do for you?"

"Her grace and I would like to see you and Allan."

"Ok his tent is two tents over."

Cadence nodded and both left Spyro's tent, the purple dragon turned left and Cadence headed right for Allan's tent, moments later they were standing around a map of the land, the Queen and Cadence explained their plan to attack their base in hopes of them either surrendering of kill them off. Though Allan liked the plan, he saw one fatal problem, they were in an area that has many underground tunnels, giving them plenty of escape routes or ambush areas, so unless they light up the tunnels they still had the upper hand.

"And let's not forget our mystery villain is strong with the fire element." Spyro said.

"Agreed he's on par with Ignitus, fire guardian." Allan added.

"So what would you suggest? We can't battle it out too long, if the portal opens to our home world in two months we can have a massacre if this dragon enters that portal." Cadence said

"I know but we need to think this through if we try to block all their routes they can burrow out and attack." Allan said.

"Why not collapse the top of the cave, then wait for them to come out and strike."

Just then Rainbow came bursting through the balcony doors. "Hey guys we got company, with your fiery friend." She said before telling everyone to get back inside.

"This can wait, Spyro take him out of the sky."Allan said.

Taking off like a bat out of hell, Spyro flew right for the villain while Allan ran through the castle, out the door, through the camp, through the opening in the wall and collided with a crystal golem, cutting it to ribbons. Above the two dragons slammed into each other, with the force of a freight train slamming into each other, clawing, biting trying to push the other down. Eventually the larger dragon got the upper hand, kicked Spyro off him and fired a fire ball at him, landing a direct him the impacted slammed Spyro down into the ground, waisting no time he unleashed a barrage of fire balls, getting up, Spyro looked up and cursed, evading the small metiores and as the last one came down, he used his tail and whacked it back. The attack surprised the dragon and got hit by his own attack taking him out of the air. As he fell a purple beam slammed into his side pushing him further away, looking at the city wall he saw Twilight.

"Get out of here." Spyro shouted.

"No my job is to help you!" Twilight shouted back.

"In the..." A redish, orange glow caught his eye and saw the dragon charging a massive fire attack, taking to the air Spyro created a purple field around him and Twilight just as the attack struck, holding the shield together, Spyro grunted under the strain of the attack. After the attack finished, Spyro collapsed from strain gasping for breath, Twilight urged him to stand as the dragon closed the distance. Standing up and shaky legs, Spyro unleashed a beam of aether striking the dragon out of the sky before the strain got to him and collapsed. Fury followed through the dragon and he summoned that fury to be unleashed, looking up, Allan saw the attack coming and put a shield around himself as the fire fury was unleashed, causing a devastating ring of fire that enveloped everything in its path friend and foe alike. Meteorites rain from the sky crashing into the city wall, battering the battle field, bouncing off Allan's shield, and he could only watch the devastation around him. As soon as the attack ended, a fast blur followed by a sonic rainboom slammed the fire dragon out of the sky, seeing an opening Allan ran at the falling dragon, leaping into the air for the final blow to end this war but got tackled out of the air by a wyvren. Rolling to to a stop, he looked at his attacker as it gave a low warning roar, standing in a defensive stance, wings tucked to its side, head lowered to face Allan and paced back and forth. Grabbing his sword that laid next to him, Allan stood up and faced the wyvren, the two circled each other, the wyvren attacked first, jaws wide open, swinging his blade, Allan looped off the top of its head, spun counter clockwise and looped off the head of another by cutting off its neck. Waiting for a third the dragon that started it all got up and tail striked Allan, sending him into the city wall. "Push forward." He ordered, but a distant ringing caught his and the others attention, immediately they started to fall back as the sound of the aether attack was charging up. Moving away from the city a glowing Spyro unleashed the most powerful attack of any dragon and it tore up the battle field killing a number of darkers but some still managed to pull away to safety, back to their ice cave. Having drained every ounce of energy from his body Spyro fell from the sky, both Twilight and Rainbow Dash caught and carried him back to camp, before he left, Allan saw a darker crawling away, his hand glowed a light green and he levitated the darker back to camp for interrogation.

At the medical tent, Rarity and Applejack came back with their bags full of green and red crystals and the nurse placed them around Spyro and they started glowing, while the girls sat around Spyro. Screams of pain filled the dungeon of the palace as Allan interrogated their prisoner, the third wyvren he waited for. Slamming a stone covered fist into its stomach he shouted. "Where is you hide out?"

"Up your arse."

Slamming his fist into the creatures chest he shouted the question again but got another insult. "Fine you want to play tough..." Allan walked away, grabbed his sword and unsheathed it, watching the wyvren try to break free from its restarainsts. "This can be as painful as you like. You can tell me what I want to know and you can be free or I can draw blood and you scream as you slowly bleed to death." Before anyone could say a word green mist stared to seep into the room, the guards coughed but then an explosion blasted the door and wall apart and Poisionbreak slithered in bit the wyvren with his lethal venom and slithered on out slashing at Casi's right hind leg making a chase impossible and made his escape through a vapor of poisonous gas. Allan cursed as the pulse on the wyvren was gone, instantly killed by the venom and the Queen and Cadence came down only to see the blast hole in the dungeon, a dead prisoner, guards on the floor and a ice powdered Allan.

"What happen?" They asked in unison.
