The bell over the door jingles as the four of them entered Sugarcube Corner. The three younger ponies went and took a seat while Octavia went to the counter to place their orders.

"Silver, your sister in awesome!" Scootaloo said as they each took a seat.

"She's O.K.." Silver Spoon replied, "now that she has moved to Canterlot and living with Vinyl, I don't get to see her as much I used to."

"Aunt Tia took me to one of her concerts last year for my birthday," Flurry Heart said, "I wasn't aware that you could mix music genres like that."

"That would be Vinyl's influence. Mother isn't one of her biggest fans. I'm surprised that Mother is allowing both Tavi and Vinyl to stay during Hearth's Warming." Silver Spoon said.

"Your sister has been talking to Mrs. Cake for a while, I wonder what they are talking about." Flurry said.

"Who knows." Scootaloo said as she looked around Sugarcube Corner. She saw Sweetie Belle sitting in a corner with both Truffle and Twist. Lyra and Bon Bon were sharing a vanilla malt shake, and Pinkie Pie was trying to feed her pet alligator, Gummy, a platter of cupcakes.

There was a sudden burst of laughter as a young unicorn ran into the shop and hid behind the counter, her brother followed shortly only instead of walking or running he tumbled into the shop.

"That wasn't funny Pumpkin!" Pound Cake said a little loudly.

"Then why are you laughing?" his sister Pumpkin Cake responded from her not so clever hiding place. Pound Cake looked around the room trying to find his sister. He saw Flurry Heart first.

"Uh, hey Flurry, how are you?" Pound Cake said, trying and failing to not blush. Scootaloo glanced at Silver Spoon and winked.

"Hi Pound, nice weather we're having." Flurry Heart said turning a shade a pink that rivaled her mother's coat.

"Uh, yeah." Pound Cake stammered.

Scootaloo tried and failed to hide the smirk on her face which earned her a look from Silver Spoon. Octavia nudged Flurry Heart, nodding when she had her attention.

"Pound, would you like to go to the Ball with me?" Flurry Heart asked trying not to blush any more than she already was. Sugarcube Corner was suddenly silent, all eyes on Flurry Heart and Pound Cake. Even Pumpkin Cake was starring at her brother with wide eyes.

"You want to go the Hearth's Warming Ball with me?" Pound said. Flurry nodded unsure of what to say.

"Yes." Pound answered.
