Spike has been sent to the Crystal empire to host an important ceremony, but when he tries to return to Ponyville, things get complicated, it seems that something or someone is trying to keep Spike away from Ponyville by any means, meanwhile, Rarity is trying to process her feelings towards Spike while some important ponies from Canterlot and Manehattan try to gain her love.

Will Spike return home before is too late? Will Spike have the courage to finally tell her his feelings? Or the ponies from outside will steal her heart before him?
